Nachteile:

sometimes bugs in windchill are really frustrating for the new user .

Kommentare: Central data handling multiple users can handle the data very advantageous for huge organization struggling with data management

Vorteile:

Vast amount of data can be stored and even though a huge organization like mine which has multiple design locations and different factories data can be handled from the software

Nachteile:

Improve the CAD interface and also multiple part BOM download can be made little more intuitive and better from data analysis

Windchill for Change Management

Kommentare: It can do a lot if you know how to use it but there is definitely a learning curve when you first start using it.

Vorteile:

I like the home screen that allows you to customize and see tasks assigned.

Nachteile:

It is very hard to use. It takes a long time to adjust and learn everything.

Vorteile:

It does a great job of managing files and 3D models. It's well thought out and designed specifically to work with your 3D modeling software.

Nachteile:

It's not the easiest software to use, but it's doing a difficult job, and the alternatives aren't going to be any better.
