Kommentare: Excellent! I'm so glad I found it, it has really solved all my problems and for the price, it is comparable in cost to many of the other sites and less expensive than quite a few of them.

Vorteile:

OwnerRez works really great. It's SO robust and has so many features! I'm very pleased with it - I've looked at a dozen different systems and did a test run of about 4 of them. None could do what OwnerRez does - it allowed me to do several functions I was unable to do in the other systems. And a HUGE PLUS: the customer support is amazing. They reply very quickly (business hours) and are extremely helpful.

Nachteile:

It takes quite a bit of time to get set up in the beginning - but that is going to be the case with EVERY good PMS or channel manager. Once you get it set up, it's a breeze to use. Just know and expect to put some time at the beginning.

Peace of Mind at Dragonhead Retreat

Kommentare: Just wish I had found OwnerRez in my first year of having vacation rentals. Their common sense, timely tools and communiques to inquiries, booked guests, etc means I can tend to my other work, home, family... life.

Vorteile:

I tried other products, wasting time, energy & $. Finding OwnerRez was such a relief. I can tell it was designed & implemented by professionals who had "been there/done that" as it is so logical. The sample tools, policies, communiques, etc were well thought out and easy to adjust to my use.

Nachteile:

Not yet. I ask for help when I can't figure something out and OR reps reply quickly. They follow-up, to ensure any issue is ironed out.

Difficult onboarding

Kommentare: Not good. It appears to be a powerful system but zero training and support make it a nightmare. I had to plead for help for a 30 minute call because of problems. Both sessions lasted longer because it even took staff that long to help with 1 or 2 things, Not getting to all my questions. The person was helpful but this stuff takes time to implement. I started w 2 houses and have 2 more. One would think they would want to make sure i have a good experience to get more sales.

Vorteile:

Still new but using OR to manage multiple properties in 1 platform

Nachteile:

Onboarding is pretty much non existent. Would have eliminated 5 double bookings and days of waiting for answers if only they took 1 or 2 30 minute sessions for a call. Most of time, you email with a problem and wait. Sometimes for 24 hours before getting a response.

Ownerrez is THE Solution for Vacation Rental Management & Website Software!

Kommentare: My experience with Ownerrez has been 100% positive since I onboarded almost a year ago. The customer service is stellar; the program is user-friendly; the reports are easy to create; and, the website program is easy to set up, revise, and use.

Vorteile:

My number one favorite thing about Ownerrez is it has an amazing, responsive customer service team! The onboarding one-on-one Zoom meeting was a game changer for me, as I'm an older generation and not as tech-savvy as I'd like to be. My questions that I've had, to date, have been thoroughly answered in a timely manner and with respect and encouragement. I believe my learning curve was greatly reduced because I was able to ask questions and get immediate feedback. My second favorite aspect of Ownerrez, after the live customer service assistance, is the incredibly user-friendly library of videos covering, literally, every single aspect of setting up and using Ownerrez. Step-by-step, easy to understand, screen shots of every step; it makes it really easy to research something I need help with before I have to call or email for assistance. As my confidence has grown in maneuvering and understanding the workings of the site and my website through them, I've become more adept at finding answers myself. My third favorite aspect of Ownerrez is the website capability. I BUILT MY OWN WEBSITE, and I'm an old Boomer! It was that easy and, again, I had easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and access to a live customer rep when I had questions. I love my website and I'm comfortable maneuvering around the dashboard to make changes and/or look for specific data.

Nachteile:

My experience with Ownerrez has been entirely positive. I have nothing that would be a negative "likes the least" kind of issue.

Effectively managing a short term rental is complicated. I did a lot of research and even tried another channel management system before settling on OwnerRez. It's a very powerful platform for not only channel management but, through its best-of-breed integrations, facilitating every aspect of your SRT business. Most importantly, they provide the best support I have encountered for any software product -- full stop. Beyond extensive online support, they are behind you every step of the way with insightful answers and suggestions that that make it clear you are dealing with a team with deep knowledge of and passion for the STR business.

Nachteile:

There is nothing not to like. As with any business software, you get out of it what you put in, but the effort will pay dividends if you are serious about optimizing your STRs.

OwnerRez: more than a channel manager!

Kommentare: Exceptional! OwnerRez, the product, has allowed me to do what I needed to do to be able to offer Direct Rentals to potential guests. The software does everything I need it to do: syncs calendars across all channels, streamlines email communications with guests, automates communications with guests, manages all channels, accepts credit card payments securely through Stripe, and most importantly, we can purchase Damage Protection to protect our property from potential losses that are so risky with renting to people you do not know. I could not find any other company that offered this to us. Your support staff are exceptional. I have had very positive interactions with others at OwnerRez as well, if only in email.

My account rep, [sensitive content hidden] has been immensely helpful!! So I am sold on OwnerRez, not just on the software product, but on the PEOPLE who represent your product. Pam has been patient, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and motivating to me. She made me feel like I could handle the task at hand. She took baby steps with me, and gave me all the time and attention that I needed to successful get onboard. If ever I need assistance, she is always responsive, and timely. She knows the product well, and represents it well.

Nachteile:

Honestly, I can't think of a thing. I am a satisfied customer, and have been promoting it online on various FaceBook groups/threads.

Excellent property management software

I managed my two beach properties for a year without using a property management software to help, so when I took the plunge to purchase OwnerRez, I was very nervous because of the enormous growing curve that I had trying to get familiar with it. I had no experience using any software of any kind, but the customer service I have received from OwnerRez over the last two years has been exceptional. They have answered every question I have had with not only the highest level of competency but also with such kindness and patience. In a world where excellence and integrity are sadly lacking in practically every service industry, OwnerRez stands out above the rest. Their user friendly software and superb customer service have allowed me to run my business with efficiency and excellence. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them to others!

Nachteile:

I do love having all my questions answered over email within usually 24-48 hours, but there are times it would be helpful to have a phone number I could call to get a quick answer.

Impressed with OwnerRez

Kommentare: Just starting with two properties to get oriented. I will be adding another six. It is still too early in my experience but so far I am impressed.

Vorteile:

Comprehensive solution to managing multiple property integrations with multiple channels. Excellent integrations with other 3rd party solutions; e.g. automatic code generation & management ofschlage Encode locks, dynamic pricing platforms (I use Beyond), etc. Excellent tutorials and education; I was particularly impressed with the 1.5 hours they spend on a video call to orient me and jump start onboarding. The rep was very knowledgeable.

Nachteile:

There is a lot of work to prep the listings for communication with the various listing channels (API.) I suspect that is just the way it is with any platform. OwnerRez seems powerful and as with anything like this, there is a learning curve to become proficient and efficient. I would like to have option for additional one-on-one tutorials.

Get the CONNECT service

Kommentare: Once I got on the connect team and connected with one of their members by the name of Layla, who was absolutely amazing she was patient she was kind she was understanding she listened. She outlined our calls, followed up on things went over things if I had questions concerns. She is an amazing person and I truly enjoyed our one on one’s and learned SO MUCH! I appreciate OwnerRez and the way that they go with their web meetings. I belong to numerous Facebook groups that support OwnerRez. I find that they have numerous resources that are invaluable to me as I go through the process of learning more and more about the software that manages my business. I feel confident now because of Layla’s help and everyone there at OwnerRez helping go over the things that need to be set correctly in the software. I feel like I am set up for success. I look forward to many bookings on my website!

Because it's so robust, it can be overwhelming to get started. But their videos, and more importantly, customer service is second to none. A rep spent hours with me getting things set up in the beginning, and I will never forget how much I appreciated and valued that help.

I wish there was a unified mailbox so that I can see all messages in the same place. I also need better messaging integration and notifications with Vrbo communications.

Great Software, Great Price, Great Support - What's Not to Love?

Kommentare: They are just an overall complete solution... Great Price, Great Support, Great Feature set. I wish I would have found them before I made the mistake that cost me thousands of dollars in implementation costs and improperly collected (ie not collected) taxes.

Vorteile:

OwnerRez is full featured Property Management software. Our goal when embarking on the journey of finding a solution was to be as hands off as we could be. With OwnerRez someone can book a property, pay online, receive all communications needed for arrival, have door locks added to the appropriate home automation system and have the cleaning scheduled. (Granted there are some 3rd party integrations here but the integrations are so solid that we don't have to worry about them) OwnerRez is easy to use. The database is built in a way that it is fully relational. You can look at a guest, see all of their bookings, click on the booking and have all relevant data including communications to/from the guest right there at your finger tips. Support with OwnerRez is top notch. I've never talked with them on the phone but their email response times are exceptional and their solutions detailed and comprehensive. You do not have an "expensive" onboarding team to walk you through step by step... but with OwnerRez we didn't need it. Watched a couple of videos, followed some checklists and we were up and running in a matter of a week. We spent 5 weeks with another solution and when it came time to go live we had one OTA connected and it was not calculating tax correctly. Literally we had all OTAs connected to OwnerRez in a week and were managing our complete portfolio with virtually no hiccups.

Nachteile:

OwnerRez is extremely feature rich. I wanted a single solution for all aspects of our business but ultimately I have decided to let the experts in Housekeeping and Guest Portals do what they do best and just integrate to OwnerRez. Perhaps someday they will add that functionality.

Kommentare: OwnerRez is amazing! I own a small rental and I have extra challenges due to living with a disability, and I have always received the most helpful support. A lot of other companies would place me on a low tier for support due to the volume of our business. But I have a high standard for my business, no matter how small (we’re rated the Most Hospitable Host in our province), and they’ve helped me keep it up. They have a ton of support articles, always keep us in the loop with their planned updates, listen to all our ideas for future development, and they make us feel like part of the team. I rave about them all the time to my fellow hosts.

Vorteile:

A loooong list of pros. - Their system is thorough & detailed (do give yourself time for the learning curve) - Everything can be customized and even overridden for specific bookings if you want- Reliable, top of the line API connections with pretty much any booking platform- Couldn’t have been easier to add their widget to my wordpress site for direct bookings- Easy to share the calendar with my cleaners & manage booking windows- Best customer service. Seriously.

Nachteile:

My cons list gets smaller every month with every update OwnerRez puts out. But here are the challenging parts of the software at this point in time:- Messaging is a bit tricky to master, as system messages & custom templates are in different sections. No ability to customize message templates ahead of time for individual guests, so if I want to add a personal note to a scheduled message I have to set myself an alarm to do it manually right before it’s scheduled. - No ability to create single-use discount codesYou do have to pay close attention when setting things up, as there are a LOT of settings and it’s easy to get one wrong. But this isn’t a con, just a heads up. A huge part of OwnerRez’s magic is how much customization they can handle.

Really happy with Ownerrez after trying many other softwares

Kommentare: I rent six properties in a remote location in Greece. Each one has some very specific needs in how I manage them. I do the online part and work together with the owner who is on the field and need many specific things from me. With ownerrez a lot of what I used to do in like 5 steps using different softwares now are done in one step. I have a complete picture of my scenario of reservations and finances without doing anything. Before I had to do many entries in different softwares. I am really happy with their customer service too. They are fully committed to us clients and to improving their product. Highly professional and dedicated to excellent quality.

Vorteile:

I has a lot of flexibility for my unique needs as the manager of 6 vacation rentals in Greece. Basically everything I had needed so far I found a work around in OwnerRez. Or the staff helped me to find a solutions. Few things I still need to do outside of it. But my workflow managing my listings and reservations has really become simpler and much much faster.

Nachteile:

It is not as beautiful as other options I’ve used. And it is not as user friendly either. But all other options I’ve used had some critical limitations that I couldn’t work around. For my type of property management I needed some very specific things. Together with the staff at ownerrez, always by email, but efficiently, we almost always found a solution.

Amazing Property Management Software for Short Term Rentals- It's Useful Even if You Only Have 1 STR

Kommentare: My overall experience with Ownerrez has been phenomenal. Even though it was a steep learning curve, the customer support, the help articles, and the help videos have been more than supportive in ensuring I had a smooth onboarding process. The features & integrations OR provides (security deposit, rental agreement, etc.) really help me to start my Airbnb last year.

Vorteile:

I enjoy the fact that ownerrez helps me manage my Airbnb listing like a business and helps me to automate things I didn't realize could be automated. Even though Airbnb does have similar features, I love how OR allows me to pivot onto other platforms and with direct bookings if needed.

Nachteile:

I don't like the fact that there isn't an app to download from the app store. I also wish there was more customization features on the rental agreement in terms of text boxes that are mandatory. For example, I wish I could have a separate textbox that the requires the name for each guest rather than typing a bunch of names in 1 textbox

Amazing setup and support

Kommentare: So happy I switched from Evolve over to self-managing with OwnerRez. The whole setup I have now is fantastic. The software works like a charm.

Can take a while to work out all of the details, but well worth the effort.

Right now - booking.com booking templates are not firing properly and our Schlage integration with OR isn't always generating a door code. They are looking into these two concerns right now and I hope to hear back soon.

Best functionality for the price

Kommentare: Great experience overall! The OR team is very responsive and helpful. Using OR has streamlined my channel managment and automated previously manual business processes which has freed me up to focus on more strategic business objectives. They also worked well with my website designer as she brought my website online, using OR as the booking engine. Bottom line, it has made running my business a whole lot easier. Wish I had done it sooner!

Vorteile:

I was able to get my properties and channels set up quickly and the customer service is top notch. The features I like most include: booking engine for my website; multi-channel (VRBO/AirBnB/my website), multi-property calendar management; payment processing; automated messaging and messaging options/flexibility; third party notifications (which has automated previously manual processes); ability to manage content/rates for multiple channels on a single platform and more! It's worth it just for that and there is more functionality I look forward to using in the future.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I have to dig around a little if I'm doing something new or something I don't do often, i.e. it's not always intuitive (for me) where functionality resides on the platform. Of course there's a learning curve with any new software and this is no exception. But their customer support group is always quick to respond and extremely helpful. FYI - I have been using OR for about 4+ months.

The absolutely best software for vacation rental owners to manage bookings, emails, etc.

Anytime I have a question and contact OwnerRez I hear back from them very quickly. They always answer my question, but also make suggestions for things they notice on my site with them that could use some tweaking. I love that because I am with OwnerRez I am able to require accidental damage insurance for all bookings, regardless of where they originate from. Without OwnerRez I would not have been able to do that since Inhave only 2 vacation rentals.

Nachteile:

There is nothing.in I don’t like. It has done everything and much more than I expected.
