I have the credit card processor through cardpointe integrated in 123 pet groom also and it has worked very smoothly and beat my bank merchant service pricing.

Nachteile:

This is a source of frustration and we wish they would bring those functions back.

Great but not exceptional

Kommentare: I have used a smart since 2013. Overall, I would give them an A minus. Customer service is phenomenal but sometimes you have to get to higher levels to get certain issues resolved. It should not be that way. Wait times are extremely long to speak to someone but that has improved lately.

Vorteile:

I love the reminder features that can automatically go out. Some of the reporting is also very helpful. I love being able to integrate my credit card system into the POS.

Nachteile:

I hate the fact that they are no longer going to add or modify features to the non-cloud base version.

Kommentare: We have had a great experience with Daysmart overall--it greatly improved booking efficiency in our salon and helped us eliminate double bookings and decrease the amount of missed appointments we were experiencing.

Vorteile:

We love how easy it is to use and find information on all of our clients!

Nachteile:

We would love a feature that would tell us our next available 1 hr apt, 2 hr, apt, and weekend appointment. It would make running our business even easier! We would also love a better wait list design--we often have a large waitlist and the set up of the current wait list function does not work for our set up.

New Tech support policy not groomer friendly

Kommentare: I love the easy navigation, reports, how the software operated. Just don't run into tech issues. It's a game of back and forth for 3 1/2 months with no fix.

Vorteile:

I loved DaySmart from 2013 to 2023. Then they changed the tech support to AI. Before you could talk to a agent and get your software problems resolved in less then 30mins. Kind, helpful, supportive and a peace of mind, But Not now!!!!!

Nachteile:

!!!!Tech support has gone to the pits!!!! Not suitable for busy Owners/Groomers. First you go through AI's questions. Next e-mail back and forth. Waiting game with tech support. You are in between other Client support e-mails, etc. E-mailing don't get the fix? Then they will set up a call appointment. If you think the problem is fixed. Surprise it's not!! You have to start all over. I talked to multiple tech agents explaining the issues. Problems couldn't get resolved in one day because I have grooming deadlines to meet. I can't just sit waiting for a return response. By the way i have to use my hands to groom. So how am i suppose to do that sit at the computer and e-mail back and forth!!!! Talking to a live person builds quality customer support and relations.

No customer service

Kommentare: We have used them for over 15 yeats key features that other software offers this lack in intake forms, poor intervention, no way to preppay or charging for no call, no showes,

Vorteile:

It was an ok software but still missing features many other software offer.

Nachteile:

No customer service! Like Zero customer service... if u have a problem on Friday... you have to wait till monday to get a call, use to be great! They dropped most ALL there customer service in 2023 and we pay them 500 a month for software and 1100-1500 a month in credit cards

Busy Grooming Salon? Say no more!

Vorteile:

The review prompting KILLS! We have gone from 7 Google reviews to 200+ reviews and just one year using Daysmart Pet. We also see less no shows due to their auto-reminder texts and are busier than ever. They system is easy to for both the front desk staff and the groomers.

Nachteile:

There are some little features here and there that I would love to see. We also encounter some bugs that can be frustrating, but the support team is usually already working on them before I even have a change to report.

Kommentare: Awesome! It is so easy to use, book an appointment and easy to find settings if you need to adjust them. Also customer service has been amazing!

Vorteile:

Easy to use, great customer support & great pricing.

Nachteile:

Doesn't match to QuickBooks very good, its ugly and seems like the look is out dated. The portable card reader sucks, would be nice to have a different option. Confusing for customers to have a text number for your services that isn't your main number.

Kommentare: After 10 years as a client the first 8 years were great, the last couple of years have resulted continuous glitches and often having the software not working which is blamed on your cell service.

Vorteile:

When properly working the software is geared for mobile grooming.

Nachteile:

Too many clicks to perform a simple task. Recent changes have made the software extremely unreliable and customer service (no live phone poodle anymore only email or chat that is returned their convenience) simply says “we are working on it”.

May want to look elsewhere

Kommentare: Their service was AMAZING before they started "upgrading" their services. Now their online service and texting only works every so often, and will often go down for HOURS before coming back up... and during that period of time, I cannot reply to customers or check scheduling. I have put in multiple tickets, all to have customer service say "we are aware of the issue".... nothing else. Our business has been a customer for 13+ years, and we are actually considering going elsewhere.

Vorteile:

It was amazing BEFORE their upgrades, but now their service seems to be constantly messing up.

Nachteile:

Their scheduling/remote/texting service has been offline SO MANY TIMES over the last couple of months. It is insane.

Horrible service

Kommentare: A nightmare! Can't wait to switch to a different company.

Vorteile:

None. Will never recommend them to anyone.

Nachteile:

No longer can call and talk to someone in support. Can only email. Literally had a pissed customer waiting for over 30 minutes to resolve my issue and never got the email back in time. Client walked out. I lost a valued client. It's horrible that you can't talk to anyone anymore.

Kommentare: It was poor, and the Card Pointe credit card services was a gigantic scam.

The reports they had available were comprehensive.

Nachteile:

Customer service treats the customer like an idiot. They also don't care what you need as far as functionality goes. After 3 years of begging for certain functions and being told at some point it might be added we gave up.

Great CRM for pet grooming

Kommentare: I love 123 pet groom, only thing missing is a digital agreement. I love that this software could easily grow with me as my business becomes bigger.

Vorteile:

This software is very user friendly, easy to navigate and integrate into your every day. I have the credit card processor through cardpointe integrated in 123 pet groom also and it has worked very smoothly and beat my bank merchant service pricing. During hard times of getting started they waved my monthly fee instead of my having to cancel and it helped keep me going! I love that I can book online and automate responses or emails to clients, it helps with busy work and avoid the need to hire.

Nachteile:

The interface changes depending on the device you're using so it take a few minutes to get used to but nothing substantial. I login in my laptop, phone and tablet. I would LOVE to see the ability to have a digital agreement! I'm mobile so carrying around paper agreements is a headache especially for events I run. I also think it would be better for file retention. I would also like to be able to have more control of my online booking page, with more customization rather than just the looks of it. I'd like to customize the questions or number of pets they can add to the request etc.

Kommentare: Service, product, speed, and ease of use has declined massively, we are thinking about switching after 13 years of use. I've had many problems multiple issues were related to each other. When we finally fixed one bug (on your end) we lots lots of information causing us 40 hours of reception pay to re-input years worth of info. And the "bug" (which your tech team has called and claimed was on your end) has came back multiple times we have just learned to deal with it, as we do not want to lose information again. I have been using day smart since 2010 even came to a party at your office. I believe what we pay vs the product we get do not justify the cost. I have reached out and heard nothing back about our issues.suggestions I've made but haven't been changed.- being able to add "pet name" to reminders (most clients have more then one pet and they get frustrated that they do not know which has a appointment)- fix the rabies bug. 75% of our inputted rabies do not show up under medical tab.- automated text replys- frequently used text replys (stored for easy texting)- Be able to send multiple text confirmations (3days then if not confirmed again @ 1day)- Hold times for support is almost impossible to use when we are running a salon. Then we are always transfered multiple times since our issues are on your end.

Scheduling, Reminders, and confirmations.

Nachteile:

unable to edit basic features. Support is awful.

1st online booking system review

Kommentare: Once we get through the learning curve it gets easier. Above we mentioned what we would like to see change.

Vorteile:

We like the ability to view clients and schedule, payroll feature is good, Dashboard shows the growth, Employees like to be able to view their schedules on their App.

Nachteile:

The ability to group text customers, rebooking screen is annoying. Appointment window is also annoying as it drops down below the viewing window.

Life changer

Daysmart has been so great in our day to day use. We recently learned how to color coordinate appointments which has been so helpful especially with teaching new people the systems.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way for clients to upload their vaccines and for them to request appointments/times with out actually booking them

Bad to worse

Kommentare: I picked this software because everyone said it was easy to use. I needed something easy for my coworkers and boss. We went from hand written everything to a computer. I was supposed to be the one to get everyone on board. Unfortunately this software has caused numerous problems. On average we 5-6 random appointments show up that 123 pets sent reminders for but we have to appointment on record. It’s glitchy and messy. There is no rhyme or reason to any of this. It’s also extremely expensive! Although they are willing to reduce some of the rate once in a while because by their own admission, the software is bad. Or “untested”. It feels like they started from scratch and they’re selling a beta version of incomplete software as if it’s ready to go. Seriously DO NOT buy this software! Biggest regret!

Vorteile:

Anytime I call in to customer service the techs tell me they know the software is bad. It makes me kind of laugh.

Nachteile:

Company will send out random updates that crash the system. Zero timelines given out to clients for fixing the problems. Ease of access of client information on calendars and dashboards is redundant and lacking. (Why not show a phone number with the client name? Also why swap around the pets name with the clients first name. Software cannot consolidate multiple pets with different groomers. People are double charged if not done one at a time. Software creates duplicate time slots for employees which crash the system and make random appointments disappear from the calendar. Adding availability to the schedule is nonsensical. Booking availability for an employee M-F in one step is impossible. This issue makes it easy for the overlapping of availability frequent and causes appointments to also disappear. The system cannot consolidate duplicate accounts. You have to go though and “archive” the client and pet. Archived Clients May still be scheduled, which is a nightmare. Daycare and boarding doesn’t work and hasn’t worked for over a month. They say they’re working on it. -again zero timeframes Customer support can’t really do anything to help out. They just apologize and say that the software is bad. Nearly every single time I’ve called it’s been this way. The software doesn’t recognize a first name or last name. But it recognized (Last name, First name). Now without a comma the name won’t pull up.

Advanced features don't work. Company lies and won't give refund.

Kommentare: Terrible. Left them after a year. Should have done it right away but kept believing them that the product would get fixed. They should refund me at least 1200.00. I paid 200/month for services that didn't work and still don't.

Vorteile:

Not much. The product was very old feeling and I guess the one thing MoeGo doesn't do that Daysmart did was mark the notification that a dog was ready to pick up in a different color. MoeGo is so much better at everything else, including block scheduling, that I'll forgo that for a few months while they add it. So many upgrades already delivered from when we moved to them that I bet it will be there Amon the next few months.

Nachteile:

The customer service can't help because the product is full of place holders for future entices that are currently not available. But they refuse to downgrade your subscription to only charge for what is actually working. Reputation management doesn't work because the reviews don't actually go to Facebook or google they go to Daysmart which isn't anything anyone looks at. Several other things are like that.

It's polished but flawed-obviously not created with input from the grooming world.

Kommentare: We are a medium volume, upscale grooming salon with six employees. When we opened four years ago, we computerized the clip card client list of an old salon. They have decent customer support and It's fairly easy to use, but there are some very frustrating "quirks" that should have been addressed in updates years ago. 1. Like many salons, we have a number of dogs that drop off at the same time in the morning. The calendar does not allow the schedule to reflect this and creates confusion.
2. Everyday we have at least one client with multiple pets, but if they are assigned to two different groomers, you are unable to drag and drop the appointment. Also, it won't let you schedule them for the same time slot.
3. Because the SMS appointment reminders automatically use the time scheduled on the calendar and not the actual time the client drops off, this feature is useless.
3. There's no third party pos integration, therefore we must keep two sales registers and reconcile them daily.
4. Their cloud based system and app is a useless
5. Ditto for the QuickBooks "integration" that is not included in the monthly price.

The more I use the software the more I find it limiting

Kommentare: The groomer world is not very technical... so maybe it makes sense that the software architecture seems about 10 years behind what is currently being used in other industries.

Vorteile:

It's relatively bug free..................

Nachteile:

The software architecture is old - I pay for the pro which is a local install on a primary pc. The online access is not to a hosted solution, it connects back to the primary PC in the shop... for all functions. If you power done the PC to save energy the appointment reminders are not sent. Maybe look into AWS services to expand your capabilities. Online access with the pro version is designed for employee access, not the owner. I have limited functionality to perform business administration tasks... I have to go to the store to export reports to excel so I can finish the task remotely. Why would you do that? The owner pays for the software... Once an appointment reminder has been sent, if you move the appointment the confirmation indicator does not reset giving you a false report of a confirmation. I'm assuming this is not a bug but a failure in logic.

Thank you for your review Tim. Yes, you purchased a client/server architecture, which does function as you described (namely the server has to be on to be accessed). We also have thousands of customers on our cloud based systems, which function differently, and are run on AWS.

Used to be a great program

Kommentare: It used to be a great program 5 years ago, but I can't really say the same anymore. I tried their cloud version recently, but that was a nightmare.

Vorteile:

This used to be such a great program, however, recently it has gone downhill tremendously. I'm not sure if it's change in management or something, but a lot has changed and it hasn't been positive changes. I am required to upgrade my version again or else they are going to stop supporting it, so I've been looking elsewhere.

Nachteile:

The remote access is always down. The support staff isn't very helpful. I have been paying for support for the past 3 years and they haven't really answered any of my questions. They are adding features, but they never seem to work. Also, I never know how much my bill is really going to be that month.
