Great product and service for any company in procurement
Kommentare: Awesome product for any company that works in procurement and keeps track of contracts and payment processes.
Vorteile: Allows our customers to keep track of all contracts with associated vendors and staffing firms. User friendly.
Nachteile: Very detailed user interface. Occasionally I will lose track of my progress and have to start over from the beginning.

Ariba contract management makes life easy by authoring a contract without efforts
Kommentare: Contract management gives clause library functionality which is very useful for saving all types of standard clauses. This can be dragged easily while authoring new contract. Also easily identify the changes made by other party, as it is integrated with MS word. Easy to track changes and saving your all types of contract at one place by defining folder structure. Best ERP to use.
Vorteile: Clause library and contract management functionalities.

Ariba is a very good CLMS. It reduces time and effort. Its a user friendly system.
Kommentare: Ariba Contract Management system gives an easy and smooth platform to route contract for drafting, negotiation, review, approval, signature and archiving. It helps in saving time and effort. Review and approvals are very easy as approvers can provide their approval through emails.
1) Ariba reduces time and effort and the best part is that the approvers can provide approval through the email and they don't need to go in the system to do it.
2) Reporting and monitoring is very easy in Ariba. You can take out customize your report. Contract Facilitator can setup automatic notification
3) Contracting steps are very easy and the system is user friendly
Nachteile: At times the searching functionality is slow and it keeps loading the pages for some time. However overall its good.

Great for Reporting / Bad for Usability
Vorteile: It has a ton of auditing and reporting features but pretty unintuitive to use. I wouldn't recommend this again
Nachteile: I think it needs to be more intuitive and take a page out of design from mobile web pages or apps. A lot of the options are hidden and take too many clicks to get to.

It is a great tool for contract management, not so user friendly though
Kommentare: It is a very comprehensive and useful tool for controlling the requests of contracts by business users (Directors control), it allows for the distribution of the contract drafting workload among the legal department, it also allows to draft, negotiated, execute and backup agreements, following a process that involves the user, the other party and the lawyer. I highly recommend it.
Vorteile: It is very customizable, allowing us to determine the fields we need filled out for every contract request, the process and point persons for approving every request and the contract drafting workflow process tailored to our needs. After customizing it, it is a very complete and useful work tool for requesting an drafting contracts.
Nachteile: It is not very user friendly. As a lawyer, it is the tool I use on a daily basis for the drafting and execution of contracts, but the business areas that request the contracts (which use it only for requesting the contracts they need) have a very hard time learning their way around the tool.

Not a complete solution fot contract management. Is not a full lifecycle management system

great middleman for suppliers and clients
Vorteile: You can receive POs and submit bills automatically
Nachteile: There is a bit of a learning curve when launching. However the on boarding team is great

The easiest and most robust system I have used.
Vorteile: Ariba is great in the sense that it combines so many features in the same spot - purchasing, vendor maintenance needs, accounts payable, travel and time sheets. Quick links are super convenient and it keeps great history of everything you did. Search function is very detailed as well.
Nachteile: Ariba is slow at times and it logs you out in the middle of something. And even though it saves what you were doing, it's annoying that you have to log in again.

Kommentare: Our experience is over and over when purchasing goes for bid and has never been an easy experience.
Vorteile: Our team is challenged to find what we like most. We use the system when responding to proposals, contracts, bids, etc.
Nachteile: 'Clunky' - feels antiquated, our team says it feels like a greenscreen.

Its a universally used platform but have to undergo a lot of pain before becoming expert
Kommentare: It has helped me to grow in my job which involves a lot of contract management. It helps me search for old contract info and dig up information which otherwise isnt very easily available.
Vorteile: I really like the way it has been designed to handle all contract documents and managing the different stages of the negotiations and contract approval process.
Nachteile: Searching something in Ariba is really difficult and painful. It is difficult to learn as to how to navigate through all its features to accomplish what you want to do. Its not very apparent.

It is been a delightfully working with Ariba application because of it's functionality.
Kommentare: It is a one stop shop for all contracting tool. It is a complete CLM's tools. It's reduced the lot of work for contracting.
Vorteile: I would like to mention that the kind of application Ariba is very easy to use and understand and provide us the option to draft, negotiate, approve and sign within the system. It is a SAP based system which is allow us to have multiple functions within the system. This System is a complete CLM's tool.
Nachteile: The only feature which needs to be improve is their searching and it's report functionality.

Best P2P Software
Vorteile: I like how the entire spend and integration between various departments have been consolidated in to a single software.
Nachteile: Takes time to get into the habit of using it. Considering the high features, it is not easy to master in a short time.

Has everything but you might need to be an expert to use it
Kommentare: My overall experience has been good as once you learn to use it you get used to it and its very useful.
Vorteile: I liked the ability to execute all tasks related with the contract in the very same project workspacem
Nachteile: Ariba is very difficult to use and you need very specific job aids to be able to navigate through it

Strong but cumbersome
Kommentare: Customer service is wonderful but the platform is a little basic in terms of customer interface.
Vorteile: Excellent reporting capabilities; I like. How easy it is to pull invoice reports
Nachteile: It's a little cumbersome as in its not very intuitive and you need to be trained.

Kommentare: I am required to invoice a client using the Ariba system. Overall it is transparent and allows greater traceability for the client.
Vorteile: I am able to track invoices I submit in one convenient place.
Nachteile: The user interface was not very intuitive.

Just don't like
Vorteile: I can not say I like anything about this software including customer service, no one even speaks our language
Nachteile: EVERYTHING - Customer service is Terrible and they send about 3- 5 emails a day that is unnecessary.

Vorteile: OK for contract management, not great. Seems a bit clunky and perhaps better designed for procurement activities.
Nachteile: The document importing process can be rough. Sometimes system is slow to respond. Good, not great.

It's a one great solution for contracts life cycle management.
Kommentare: It helps us to create contracts with end to end process. Also simplify the process and helps to manage contracts easily.
Vorteile: It's cloud based system and end to end solution for contracts. Drafting and negotiation is never easy without using this software. Automated signatures makes it more easy to sign the contracts electronically. Linking SOW & Amendment with MSA is easy and assigning the contracts in bulk to facilitator is also very easy.

An Absolute Must for Contract Management
Kommentare: Overall, great for contract management provided you are willing to spend the time needed to maintain the relevant master data.
Vorteile: This platform allowed for an SAP integrated system that facilitated contract management.
Nachteile: While the integration with SAP was a great convenience, there were lots of master data elements that had to be actively maintained.

Kommentare: Not a fan of this program as a straight Contract Management system. Felt clunky and awkward at times. Has decent reporting functionality and good for coding metadata, but I would opt for another system given the choice.

Sofware is versatile based on your needs as a supplier or buyer
Vorteile: As a supplier of professional services, Ariba Contract Management helps keeps our bidding organized and we use it to track orders, invoices and payments on jobs. It is also easy to use from a supplier perspective in that you can generate supplier registration questionnaires electronically, instead of having suppliers submit responses to questionnaires, RFPs, or statements of qualifications via paper.
Nachteile: If you want to retain or access your documents through the software, you need to pay an extra fee to do so. If you don't pay the fee, then after 18 months your documents are automatically deleted.

Orders & Invoices
Vorteile: As a supplier, and therefore not the purchaser of this product, there are still many customizable features that make creating invoices very easy. You are able to make account changes without an administrator, ie. name/emails etc.
Nachteile: The print feature for invoices is too long, would like it to fit on one page.
