Kommentare: Staff will always have hesitation when allowing IT to remote into their computers. This can cause resolution and deployment times to skyrocket. But Bomgar Remote Support features a full suite of tools that allows the company and its users to feel confident in letting IT remote into their machine because of its many features and customization options.

Vorteile: Bomgar Remote Support is easy to install and manage for your staff and IT support. You can deploy a shortcut to computers and set it up to start remote sessions immediately, or allow a support rep to give a session key to start the session. So there are lots of options to customize how you want to manage support sessions. Once you're remoted in, a range of options for controlling the computer are available to the rep, allowing the sessions to go faster like control panel shortcuts, screen shot options, and an easy to use file share interface. The customer can see everything happening and chat with the rep in a chat box, which also displays helpful information like what commands the rep is running in the background. There is a lot of transparency when running Bomgar so everyone can feel safe and comfortable sharing their computer with an IT rep. Bomgar also integrates with other software like Service Now.

Nachteile: Bomgar Remote Support does take a lot of planning to set up properly and get running efficiently. A lot of the security and transparency features will require a lot of app administration. If you're a one-man or smaller shop, you will have a longer time getting many of its features up and running.

Kommentare: Bomgar has been a rock for us working in almost all situations when we needed to do remote support on a system. The agent queuing features are nice and it has integrations with some ITSM systems as well. You would do well if you chose Bomgar as your remote support system.

Vorteile: Great Single use remote support tool. You give the users a site and a code or a link and they show up in your queue to connect to their computer. It is that simple. you can then pull up their screen transfer files chat via text or audio with them and work on the issue at hand. Hands down a great tool for helpdesk support of remote users. no more running to their desks or asking for screenshots or can you tell me what you see on screen. This system works with Linux, Windows and Mac computers so it is robust and complete.

Nachteile: It tends to be a little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and you get a lot with this system!

Kommentare: My company incorporates the use of this website to remotely connect with client devices. This is helpful because Bomgar allows us to troubleshoot issues in advance, before raising a ticket with an onsite technician.

Vorteile: 1) Place Utility: Bomgar can be accessed from anywhere and at any time. 2) Compatibility: Bomgar is compatible with a variety of devices. 3) Initiation: A session request can be set up by a user or a technician. 4) Security: Bomgar gives you a sense of security and is certainly on top of it's came as far as the same is concerned.

Nachteile: 1) User Interface: The user interface is a bit too bulky and can be a bit more streamlined, in my opinion. 2) Price: The pricing models are a little too exorbitant. Needless to say, it's worth the money.

Kommentare: Amazing APP

Vorteile: They have a great product that makes remote support easy to do. The tool is filled with features that enable you to connect to your user and support them totally. They include chat, Remote desktop, VoIP, direct file transfers and many other types of connections between you and your end user. This product has helped make my life as an Admin much easier. And it is Linux Friendly too so you are free to run whatever OS you want to connect to your users. It traverses a wide array of network topologies as well making seemingly impossible connections possible.

Nachteile: I wish it were free, and never had to be upgraded, but neither of these desirables are deliverable.

Love how simple it is. Makes it easy to help others remotely.

Vorteile: Easy to access others machines. I can send files easily, take screenshots, and chat with clients over the software.

Nachteile: Sometimes the client doesn't exactly understand the setup process, or it doesn't go smoothly. Or when firewalls are in place that are too strict to allow access.

Kommentare: Be able to help someone that needs help with their computer. Or just getting into a program for auditing.

Vorteile: Its easy to send an invite and its easy to use. We use this a lot with our accountant and its work quick! Easy to install, not complicated at all. The instructions are easy as 1,2,3! Highly recommend this software!

Nachteile: Sometimes it does take a while to load up. It could be the internet might have something to do with it. And once in a while we do have to send the invitations 2-3 times after realizing it the 1st had not gone through.

Vorteile: My favorite feature using this software with my IT department is the many options to connect. From the session key to having a link on your desk to having it emailed to you, there's many ways to connect. The chat feature is great and of course the notification when IT is no longer accessing your computer is wonderful!

Nachteile: There is nothing I've come across that I dislike!

Kommentare: We safe valuable time remoting into PCs to troubleshoot issues. It easily saves me a couple hours a day of walking around to different workstations and offices.

Vorteile: Bomgar is an easy tool to remote into any users PC to help with issues remotely. It's fast and makes the life in IT a breeze.

Nachteile: The only complaint I have is the image quality could be better when connecting to a remote PC. Other than that great software.

Vorteile: In our company, Bomgar is used to organize remote access, so that when needed, some employees can assist their colleagues who have any problems with the software.

Nachteile: There is no possibility to download videos and files. The support service does not work as well as we would like. It can function slowly at low Internet speeds.

Vorteile: Easy to use with resources to assist users directly and through a service portal. Makes working with users on support issues a breeze.

Nachteile: some admin support is required for initial setup; a plugin to Skype for Business would be nice since having another tool run on a user desktop captures resources that could be used elsewhere.

Vorteile: Product had great features. Liked that it went to the person email as you talked to them on the phone to feel confident as someone remote into their machine.

Nachteile: Had to make sure had person email if not on network. People not always excited to download a third party app to their products even for support.

Vorteile: I love being able to dial in and see and change what needs to be fixed without having to rely on the customer to honestly relay what is seen/going on.

Nachteile: Some customers have a hard time following directions so connecting is not always easy. The ability to have permissions shut off mid transaction can be a hinderance.

Vorteile: What really caught my eye was the attention to security. I can take remote control of computers, transfer files, chat, control keyboard and mouse. It is simply super complete.

Nachteile: When administrator elevated access is required (PC), you can lose access to the screen you are on unless the end-user allows elevation.

Vorteile: Remote support has saved so many headaches and tech trips it's not even funny. It's as dependable as any other remote software I've used. Both virtual and physical appliances have been reliable and dependable. Having all of the tools in one console is great, and saves you from extra work (who doesnt love that?)

Nachteile: Some platforms not yet supported, but they are pretty niche, so it's not a huge worry. I'm struggling to really find any big complaints, sorry. Software has been all-around great for us here.

Kommentare: It is a very useful tool, it is easier to offer virtual assistance remotely than having to move to another site, it is easy to quickly control systems, be able to connect with each other and be able to chat with the final collaborators that are in the other device, and Even for smartphone, it has the ability to achieve total control to support each other.

Vorteile: It is an excellent option to be able to make remote assistance, I love it because I can communicate with the other person through a chat and be able to share files and what I want, but what characterizes and differs from all is that if you need to restart the computer, you You can restore the session automatically after you restart the computer without having to start from scratch.

Nachteile: It is a bit cumbersome and confusing to do the step by step for the registration and the whole process, for those who are not familiar it is a little difficult, but it is compensated by the good availability of customer service that it has.

Kommentare: Bomgar is very useful for our company however we would've appreciated it if they could have better mobile phone support.

Vorteile: Easy to send an email for a support link. Has a lot of features like remote desktop, works when Teamviewer doesn;t work.

Nachteile: Pretty difficult to use in the beginning. There si a certain learning curve. Has to have an app installed in order to remote onto a phone and the iOS app is not compatible with older versions of iOS.

Vorteile: This product is very easy to use and the ability to share your screen on multiple platforms makes it so useful. The security of this product is what really sealed the deal for us. This product has both the user and provider in mind with all of it's features which allow you to provide support no matter who you have on the other end. Amazing product!

Nachteile: There have been a few times when this product can take up a lot of RAM when providing support to a user and an incorrect file type gets used or there are a lot of processes going at the same time.

Vorteile: I loved that as an employer we could group and access our employee's devices. We could access and control computers and mobile devices.

Nachteile: The licensing model and cost was a difficult selling point but proved to be worth it in the end.

Vorteile: Our church printers are leased through a local office supply company. We're able to use this product anytime we have issues with our printers and set up with our laptops/computers. It's SO EASY to use!

Nachteile: I have no issues with this product. Love it!

Kommentare: We have a service that is remotely updated once every month, sometimes the updates are not automatic or the software needs to be fixed due to improper patching. Bombgar has worked flawlessly to connect us to our remote support to fix this issue.

Vorteile: We use this software for remote support of software purchased through another vendor. To activate remote desktop is a simple click on a webpage, it could not be easier. Connection is great and background tasks are invisible.

Nachteile: I have nothing bad to say about this software, it always works. For the sake of review length, it does require administrative access for administrative tasks - to be expected - better to allow as needed than at the beginning of the remote session giving the operator 'full control'.
