I liked the integration with my tax software. I only exported my payroll information, reviewed it, and that's it.
The dashboard is TOO confusing for some people-this is NOT technologically inept friendly at all.

Paylocity simplifies HR and payroll administration
Kommentare: Paylocity allows us to centralize our human resources and payroll data, making management more simpler. Our efficiency and precision will both increase as a result of this. The unified system not only helps us save time, but also lowers costs.
Vorteile:
Paylocity's user-friendly interface streamlines and automates HR and payroll processes for better management. Our platform provides streamlined processes and thorough reporting tools, guaranteeing effective administration and meeting regulatory benchmarks. Because of this, Paylocity is an essential tool for any company.
Nachteile:
Paylocity's mobile app is currently more limited in functionality than the desktop version. If the app were upgraded and expanded, the user experience would be more in line with that of the desktop version.

Nachteile:
My only complaint about Paylocity is the app could be designed a little better.

Kommentare: I love paylocity! I think that it is better than ADP for sure!
Vorteile:
Paylocity allows me to see everything in regards to time, pay, and tax information all at easy access without having to dig throughout the entire app.
Nachteile:
I am not able to see my pay stub as early as I get paid. My direct deposit bank pays me 2 days in advance and so I have no paystub until everyone else gets paid in the company.

Getting ahold of customer service can sometimes be challenging.

Reliable and User-friendly all-around HR and Payroll Platform
Kommentare: We searched for a long time for a platform that integrated HR and payroll for the needs of our organization during a growth and capacity phase. And Paylocity this switch smooth and worth the time it takes to onboard a new platform. Our quarterly and annual reporting was very efficient and during the PPP experience, their customer service and transparency was a welcome need during that time.
Vorteile:
The Time and Attendance feature was a standout—our employees never had issues with the app, which was both surprising and impressive. Customer service was another big plus, with fast response times whenever we needed support. The compliance training modules were incredibly efficient, making annual requirements and onboarding seamless. On top of that, the HR Time and Labor module was easy to use yet flexible enough for setups like multiple pay rates. The reporting tools were also a huge win—detailed, customizable, and integrated well with our budget.
Nachteile:
The lack of integration with QuickBooks was frustrating, requiring a lot of manual entry to post payroll for a large team.
Paylocity is a monstrosity
Kommentare: I have had just a blah experience with paylocity I will never ever want to use it again especially if I ever run a business on my own I have to say it's very mediocre and the dashboard is just not up with the times your standards that I have in my book. There's also just a vague paycheck stub that you get with just the taxes and the breakdown in that fact but it doesn't allow you to go in and search for discrepancies and clocking in and clocking out
Vorteile:
I liked the means of being able to change my direct deposit information in real time
Nachteile:
I hate the fact that this program doesn't offer a detailed breakdown of clocking in and out.

It is hard to follow the organizational chart to see which employees report to which managers.

Kommentare: Excellent! I have used many HRIS systems in my 25 year career and hands down - I think Paylocity is the most simplest and user friendly program out there.
Vorteile:
Easy to use. A forgiving system for the novice user. HRIS language and easy to follow built in workflows. Payroll functions were amazing!
Nachteile:
Support hours were based on CST. There is no emergency number or option for after hour questions

It's very user friendly and the phone app is very convenient
Nachteile:
that hours are given in fractions and not in hours and minutes. Example 1.25 hours is not 1 hour and 25 minutes but 1 hour and 20 minutes. That is confusing for employees

Some of the trainings that paylocity offers seems to repeat a lot of the same information over and over again.

Kommentare: I used this program for approximately two years. It was easy to navigate and gave you access to learning, employee org charts, employee benefits all in one place.
Vorteile:
I liked the ease of the program and also the ability to check your 401K benefit status all in one place.
Nachteile:
I don't have any negative comments. I loved it.
The real guarantee for creating a stable and successful work environment
Vorteile:
We love how Paylocity has enabled us to independently adjust the main panel as required. I loved the abundance of support channels with Paylocity, thus ensuring transparent communication with HR officials and maintaining privacy. I loved the ease of filling out leave and leave requests and approving them. I loved how the foundations for calculating taxes and filling out their forms became clear. It is wonderful that Paylocity made sending inquiries and responding to them direct, to ensure job stability and speed of completion always.
Nachteile:
Everything is great with Paylocity, the negatives are not mentioned with the presence of this huge number of features.

Kommentare: I've used Paylocity with multiple companies. It's easy to access check stubs and tax documents as needed and they appear in the portal quickly after being submitted.
Vorteile:
It's easy and convenient to have all of my financial documents in one place. Any end user can accurately clock in and out, in addition to requesting time off and viewing documents.
Nachteile:
I have no dissatisfaction to report with Paylocity.

Rounding hours to the nearest quarter hour.

What I like about paylocity is being able to clock in from my phone, having access to my work schedule, and just being able to have anything pertaining to my job all in one app.
Nachteile:
What I like least is it does take some time and exploration of the app to learn where everything is and to properly navigate the app.

Kommentare: I use Paylocity daily to clock in and out for the day and for breaks, monitor and request PTO as needed, and view biweekly paychecks.
Vorteile:
Paylocity eliminated a need for a physical time clock. At my previous job, a line would form while employees were waiting to clock in/out and check their hours at a physical terminal, delaying the process for everyone. I am now able to clock in/out, monitor my PTO balance, and request time off on my app or from my work computer.
Nachteile:
Haven't had any issues thus far. Even if I miss a punch by mistake, it is easy to correct within the app.
Paylocity Review
Kommentare: Paylocity is used to help me track my payments, timeshifts, and communication. I feel that it connects my coworkers in receiving important information.
Vorteile:
Ease of use, organized, ability to review networking and personal information in one. I like that it is connected to a time clock allowing me to view and estimate my checks. I like the communication that I am able to view between communities and coworkers.
Nachteile:
Frequently having to change password. I dislike the lack of notifications/guides of when something is required. I dislike the ability to filter messages to my specific community, rather than all.
