I have had a very positive experience, and always have all question and concerns handled quickly.
Kommentare: This software greatly improved the efficiency of our Recruitment and Onboarding processes, allowed a more universal experience among our multiple divisions. Improved organization, follow through and communication between candidates and hiring managers.
Vorteile:
Ease of use, ability to format and customize for my specific needs, outstanding customer support and constant updates based on customer feedback.
Nachteile:
I don't have any true complaints. A few processes feel a bit cumbersome and could be made more streamlined. I would like to see an app rolled out in the near future, as it is not always the easiest to do tasks within the system from a mobile device.
Good Software that needs improvements
Kommentare: We use this software for my husbands small business. Overall, it's good value for the price, but definitely needs improvements. It has all needed for us functions: creating locations, clocking in and out, GPS.
Vorteile:
It has all functions needed for our business: creating locations, clocking in and out, GPS. recent conversion to a cloud was a good change since it can be accessed from anywhere.
Nachteile:
It's not very intuitive in use, doesn't always identifies locations correctly. It took us a while to figure out how to download timesheets in Excel format, and when I tried emailing the customer support, I got no response.

Feels like the programmers are reassigned constantly
Kommentare: Honestly, the system is good in theory. So many options that were abandoned at 80% for something else to built out. While I'm not a fan of difficult, it can be managed fine if the system works right. But we spent too much time building out work arounds. Entire HR meetings were dedicated to dealing with system issues vs. HR strategy. It got to the point my team started shopping systems and presenting me other options to check out. Arcoro is a pseudo enterprise system, trying to be an enterprise system, and being selected due to perceived flexibility. They would do better to just abandon a few modules, and just focus on 3 or 4 key elements and make those super robust and intuitive, then slowly add back features and make sure they work well before getting caught up in the shiny new trendy things. There are a ton of features, but very few of them are easy to use. We've since switched. I kinda feel like the engineers have previously worked on ERPs that were specific to manufacturing, as some of the nuances required similar steps for product loading, building and sales. However, HR people are not ERP Managers, and generally do not come with that type of mindset or skill set since our nature is largely policy, people, management, and engagement.
Vorteile:
The sales team is actually a pretty awesome group of people, as are the people who handle training.
Nachteile:
Honestly, for a company with about 150 employees, we had to have a full time administrator handle the HCM. This is not normal for a midsized company. We were never able to really set a program and forget about it, it was constant baby sitting. There would be reports that would run, when it finally loaded it would be empty. We'd call to find out what is up and they'd say "oh, that report hasn't been built out yet." That report would be smack in the middle of runnable reports, and Arcoro had no intention of hiding or making note of which reports are "coming soon." System loading between the three systems (the LMS and Performance pieces weren't even listed in this review as an option to talk about) was not smooth. We were told it would take one day to load, turns out it could take 3 days. So, when trouble shooting issues, it wasn't just finding what was wrong, it could take three days to ensure it didn't load, but the software wouldn't tell us where the critical error was. Report running wasn't easy, making reports was almost impossible. Every part of the system felt like we had to crack a safe by listening to the dial for the right thing to push before we chose the next option.
Applicant tracking system that saves time & money!

Great overall system. Meets all of the Government contracting requirements. BirdDog actually pushes out updates to ensure we are compliant. Great people, great product.
Customizable system is great, and allows us to use their system in different ways than initially intended.
Vorteile:
The Customer Service at BirdDog is truly second to none. Customer Service reps are knowledgeable, friendly, and will help with whatever your needs are. They even will make enhancement recommendations on your behalf. While we were implementing the system, I made suggestions for things I wanted to see in the system as future enhancements. They implemented them very quickly! They actually ask for feedback and are always looking to improve their product. While the product isn't perfect, a company who is interested in fine tuning and keeping the customer happy is a welcome change. (We recently left a much bigger, much more expensive product that never quite worked right, and there was no desire to help us fix it.)
Nachteile:
There very little documentation, because of how customizable the system is, however, Customer Service will gladly walk you through any issues.

I like the ease of the system, structure and use of the options. The options to run reports are great, the capabilities this software has to accommodate working with the construction industry is very helpful and convenient.
Nachteile:
There has been some issues with returning back to the same page and at same state with back arrow option.. it appears everything is lost and you have to start you progress all over.. from setting up a search list or even just opening up a job list and specific employee, once you hit that back arrow you return back to the starting your process over again. ugh I also would like see the option to share applications with other entities within our company.

Infinity HR
Kommentare: Our representatives did their best. They were responsive and as helpful as they could be, but there were limitations to the software as previously described.
Vorteile:
Infinity tries to be an all in one HR suite. It does have several nice features available: tracking of PTO, electronic benefit elections, storing of policies, pay data.
Nachteile:
We were told that Infinity could integrate with Sage 300CRE. It sort of integrates, but not all features. There were issues with rounding of pennies and benefit caps not being able to be set. We wanted to be able to have employees do self evaluations that were then reviewed by supervisors, but we don't seem to be able to do this either. Also, every time we change benefit providers we must pay to have EFT re-scheduled.
After a little over 1 year, we have noticeable improvements in our Recruiting efforts & management
Vorteile:
We are a uniquely diverse company (multiple business lines) from a business and industry standpoint. My role requires a constant change of focus when discussing employment and manpower from one industry/business to another. I have been able to create accounts for individual business lines to streamline communication, advertising, and process management for each company's recruiting and onboarding efforts.
Nachteile:
The internal database search could be stronger. A keyword or Boolean search would be an amazing integration. Currently, you need to tag an applicant immediately with key identifiers (ie. Department name, position title, etc) or else they can easily be lost within shuffle of thousands of applicants.
Clocking out
Vorteile:
It super handy having it on my phone for clocking in and out from job site to job site.
Nachteile:
As of late it seems to be clocking me out automatically. Always at noon. Why?? [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]

Effective organization to potential and contracted employees.
Kommentare: With this system I have automated every step of the life cycle of employees with the ease of which is an integrated, cloud-based system.
Vorteile:
What I like about BirdDogHR is offering me a variety of features and services to streamline the tracking of applicants and monitoring performance, and foster collaboration and participation of employees.
Nachteile:
The downside of this software is that it does not include the module where you can plan an employee compensation.
Life changer!
Kommentare: We used to get hundreds of time cards a week and now I audit and track my guys through this software, I can not recommend it enough!
Vorteile:
The instant access to the guys time and location. and the maps on the sitehub are a life saver! no more printing 50 maps every morning!
Nachteile:
Report sorting. there are only predefined sorting options I would like to be able to sort by any field I want. I get around it by downloading them into excel however it would be nice not to have to do that.
Keep Looking for a Better Solution
Kommentare: Look at other options. There are so many out there, many that are more integrated with an HRMS and that have responsive customer service. Consider your candidate experience as well and you'll find a better solution.
Vorteile:
*It's geared to my industry (Construction). *It's also used by several others in my industry which can help people in our industry find postings for open jobs. *They also manage some of the free boards that are specific to the construction industry. *The system does make it easy for multiple people to be informed when an application is completed.
Nachteile:
*The user experience leaves a great deal to be desired. Both for applicants and recruiters. When I used this system, I often wondered how many people abandoned the application mid-way through the process. (I was hired using this system and I was certainly not impressed by the ATS.) *The system is not very intuitive. *The system tries to rate candidates for you but we found the criteria used to be very poor. The 5-star applicants were often very poor candidates and the low scoring candidates were often a better fit. *Emails informing you of new applications are sent only once per day rather than as they happen. *When there were concerns, customer service rarely had solutions. They are not terribly responsive (except in the last few days before your contract is up for renewal).

Too Expensive
Kommentare: Not too bad; decided to move on because there was no price match per different company.
Vorteile:
Easy to track employees on jobs per times.
Nachteile:
Nothing really until my subscription came due and was going to double after paying the same rate for the last 3 years.
Okay product but horrible customer service.
Kommentare: The customer service and support just makes this company downright terrible. If you could get help in a timely manner it would be decent. However, we have had the same issues occur time and time again and it still takes weeks to get a resolution.
Vorteile:
The applicant tracking software is the only good portion of the software.
Nachteile:
Absolutely the worst HR software company out there. We have been utilizing arcoro for a little over two years now. In that time frame we have had countless issues with the software and it takes well over a month to get most issues resolved. The customer support it terrible and when you try to take the concerns to their supervisors, you just get met with more frustrations. We have a designated account rep who cannot help with anything and is out of the office most of the time. I would not recommend this software especially for the cost as well. Many other great options out there.
This app doesn't do much -causes alot of additional work later for me and the office. No integration
Kommentare: Not much other than it gave us something else to use besides paper of excel. Not really happy with the product or their approach to helping customers. Seems like a take it or shake it approach with them on support and product enhancements. Sales guy was all pressure and daily hammering on the phone until we bought, then crickets.
Vorteile:
Its half a step better than paper. I like that they have mobile apps but they don't have much useful data other than punches.
Nachteile:
No accounting or payroll integration. Data dump only. They like to do the sell and run. Never heard from the sales guy again and can't get real help from support.

ExakTime Reivew
Kommentare: We have been using the ExakTime system for a number of years. Our old way of keeping time records was having the guys write their daily times on timecards. At the end of our two week payroll, I would have to add up all the hours, which was very time consuming. Besides that, I felt like most of the guys were rounding their times to the next 15 minutes each way in their favor. By using the new system of ExakTime, we have reduced the amount of "fluff" time on each of our employees times. Another huge aspect of this system that we benefit from is for our Time and Material jobs. Its very easy to run a report at the end of the job and tally the exact time we spent on that particular job. I love the new upgrade with having our own website to log onto from any computer, tablet or mobile device. I'd recommend, and have, this software to anyone in the construction field!

Nachteile:
Editing and adding punches to a timesheet is terrible. Updates don't appear on screen until a long time has passed. The software often screws up punches so they overlap. It defaults to the wrong items all the time forcing more edits. Often displays confusing warnings saying it will discard changes even after updating and recalculating. Recalculated and saved changes do not display for 10-15 minutes making it extremely inefficient to verify edits and add punches.

It did not meet our expectations .
Kommentare: It did save some time in the office because we did not have to look at time cards filled out by employees.
Vorteile:
It does allow us to monitor the employees . We can print out the time sheets so that we do not need time cards. It does allow us to no the location of each employee.
Nachteile:
It does not link with our payroll software like we were told when we purchased it. You can not remove employees after they leave to make room for new employees. The payroll is calculated by the Canadian laws. The customer support is not very good.

Arcoro - BirdDog HR

We have had a horrible time with Arcoro from the beginning. We were sold a service that was not available for us and forced to purchase more features.
Onboarding went well but since then Customer service has been horrible. You have to email at least 2 times to get a response and they rarely have the answers you are looking for.
I have used multiple ATS and HRIS systems and have never experienced a product or support team like this.
Vorteile:
Price point, but now wish we spent a little more to have a working platform and support.
Nachteile:
Customer Support and the product itself. The product features rarely work and are not user friendly in the slightest.

we use it for our commercial roofing construction company.
Vorteile:
I like the fact that it allows us the ability to clock in with ether cell phones for our service crews or onsite job clocks for our production crews.
Nachteile:
We struggle with the reporting and separating of the jobs and tasks. our technicians in the service will work on several jobs through out the day and travel between each. our production crews will be on a single project working on several different tasks the difficulty is in getting reports to project managers.

Fairly Simple to Use
Kommentare: Overall, I like the system. I would like to see more versatility in the reports. There are tons of data recorded but not accessible. I would also like to see the data entry screens more compatible with traditional typist skills, specifically not having to take hands off the keyboard to move the cursor with the mouse.
Vorteile:
It's easy to use and offers multiple ways for employees to record their time.
Nachteile:
Data entry screens require mouse and keyboard use instead of allowing straight keyboard typing.
Easy way to manage employees, especially in the service industry.
Vorteile:
I like that you can clock in and out anywhere. This helps us tremendously as most of our employees are our in the field. We can also set geofences around locations and see where they are clocking in/out on a map. It also calculates time by the minute, which makes payroll much easier.
Nachteile:
The few times I have had to reach out to customer service-the response is not prompt. Also, it'd be nice if we could purchase one "seat" at a time.

It provides and easy system to use for our carpenters in the field and the office staff.
Kommentare: Accurate input of information/time from the carpenters in the field and also the ability to see in real time where and what the carpenters are working on. Plus, the report to enter into payroll computes accurately.
Vorteile:
That all of the reports tally correctly. Not all software does which was an awful surprise to us! sorry
Nachteile:
I cannot print a report using Safari but have to switch to Firefox. But, now that we know it is easier.

it is very easy to use and lot of functionality. easy to set up and incorporate into our business. Mobile app is very easy to use.
Nachteile:
I wish there was a way to add a costing module, such as including a way to allocate a certain number of hours to specific projects.
