Excellent customization abilities within Scheduling and Reporting functions

Kommentare: It makes it easy for staff to understand billing procedures and therefore they can better explain to patients when balances accrue due to coinsurance/copays/deductibles.

Vorteile:

The programming is intuitive and each section of a patient's account, such as patient data and claim data, communicates together (which improves ease of use and decreases labor costs).

Nachteile:

It needs to have bidirectional communication with our EHR, Practice Fusion. Claims are sent from PF to CMD, but patient data is not communicated from CMD to PF, which costs us labor to input the schedule and patient data twice, once in each program.

Simplify with CollaborateMD

Kommentare: We are very new with Collaborate, but are highly impressed by the easy tutorials, and the quality care we've received thus far from the representatives.

Vorteile:

CollaborateMD simplifies the entire billing process on claims. Also, a representative meets, trains and guides you through the learning curve.

Nachteile:

We have not yet experienced any cons, therefore do not have any items to report being liked least.

Disappointed and Dissatisfied

Kommentare: Extremely frustrating. Looking at other systems.

Vorteile:

The cons far outweighed any pros here.

Nachteile:

The worst customer support! I was told by a CollaborateMD supervisor that at most, they have 6-7 representatives working at any given time. This is outrageous. They don't bother to re-call if the call is dropped. No genuine concern for their clients whatsoever.

Solid Software

Kommentare: It's good, support could be a little better but their online help is useful. Sometimes its nice to be able to speak to someone though.

Vorteile:

Our capacity for using CollaborateMD has been transitioning clients off of it to our preferred billing software. We keep the accounts open to ensure that we have access to older items and so that we can work down all of the existing AR. I like the software. It is easy to use and the custom reports are so helpful and easy to use.

Nachteile:

There isn't really anything I dislike about it, I am just much more comfortable with other systems. I think this is a good and reasonably priced software to use for small to medium sized practices. I'm not sure about all of the integration, that may be a pain point since no one we have worked with so far has had a successful integration set up.

Good Software for Medical Billing Companies

Kommentare: Overall experience is good. I am able to get help when needed and my staff is able to navigate well through the system.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of navigating through the software and the record keeping.

Nachteile:

I wish there was a way to see the remits on the actual claim and the CMS 1500 form that was sent out to the insurance company on each claim. You have to click on several other areas to find what you need. If it was attached to the actual claim it would help.

Great Product

Vorteile:

When I was choosing my billing software, Collaborate MD caught my eye with the user friendly setup. I became even more impressed once I began using it, and I saw the quick turn-around on claims sent through their clearinghouse. From entering the claim to receiving the payment, Collaborate MD has been amazing.

Nachteile:

I believe the reports could be better. More options to choose from on what goes into the reports.

Billing Perspective

Kommentare: The implementation process has been a breeze and the training has been very successful. Learning the software has been the easiest of any software that I've used currently.

Vorteile:

Billing management and interfacing with other software.

Nachteile:

It does not transfer daily patient payments from our Practice Fusion software. It has to be manually entered.

Collaborate MD

Vorteile:

Efficient, easy to use once it’s figured out. Linked up well with ny EHR

Nachteile:

The implementation period, my implementation specialist made things more complicated. I learned more from YouTube videos

User friendly software

Kommentare: Its really good the best software for me so far.

Vorteile:

The web based easy to navigate and user friendly.

Nachteile:

Too many tabs when opened. And i dont see the user who created the claim.

Smart Product with Great Training Support

Kommentare: I can't say enough about the support and training I received throughout setup and implementation. The trainer walked me through each phase and left no question unaddressed. By the time training was complete, I was fully equipped to work with CollaborateMD.

Vorteile:

I most liked the ease of use, the flexibility in functionality, the integration with our EMR, and the visual attractiveness of the product.

Nachteile:

I least liked the requirement to close patient information in one section before opening a different section for the same patient.

I haven't found anything that I don't like about CollaborateMD. I'm very pleased thus far.

CollaborateMD

Vorteile:

The integration with our EHR is the most important part by far. It seamlessly receives data which is vital for our billing department

Nachteile:

The platform can take some time to learn so the admin must be someone with good tech skills in order to teach other members on the team adequately

Best in the Market

Kommentare: Support is great, easy setup, easy navigation. I would highly recommend anyone move over to CMD.

Vorteile:

It's easy to use, cloud-based, and the Dashboards and Reporting are the best, hands down.

Nachteile:

Payer Agreements have come a long way with CollaborateMD and are very straight forward but I'm always looking for ways to make this easier and faster for providers/groups. Possibly be able to log into the ChangeHealthcare portal in the application would make it easier. Their website is not as user-friendly as CMD. It would also be nice to schedule reports to be delivered to users, user's emails, and on certain frequencies.

CollaborateMD for Family Practices

Kommentare: Overall, CMD is a great billing system.

Vorteile:

CollaborateMD is overall a great product for billing. What I like the most is the flexibility in reporting. You can customize any report and pull all the data that you need. I've never seen reporting capability like this in any other billing system. Customer Service is great with CMD as well. My support tickets are always addressed in a timely manner.

Nachteile:

I am not a biller, but I do billing analysis on a daily basis and also help integrate CMD with our EMRs. I wish CMD had an EMR front end and wasn't just a billing system. The integration with EMRs is ok, but not perfect. There are small issues with each of our systems in communicating with CMD. One of our EMRs has to use the scheduler in CMD. The scheduler in CMD could use improvement. It is pretty basic and the user interface leaves much to be desired. Also it is not possible to use CMD reminders just on certain providers, you have to do them all. So we cannot take advantage of this feature the way we would like to.

Quality Practice Management Software

Kommentare: After working on a variety of practice management systems, from the very expensive to the potentially cost-prohibitive, I've found CollaborateMD to be extremely easy to use, as well as afford. From day-to-day tasks like checking insurance eligibility, to in-depth data mining and reporting, CollaborateMD has been an excellent solution for our practice.

Vorteile:

Ease of use/functionality.

Nachteile:

The interface from our EHR to the PMS is uni-directional, and bi-directional would be ideal.

Revenue Cycle Management

Kommentare: I've been around CollaborateMD since the beta version and have loved the improvements. The software is actually been a great asset on my resume and has helped me progress through the chains of management.

Vorteile:

I've always loved how user friendly the software is. It's easy on the eyes and navigating is a breeze.

Nachteile:

Reporting. I have been able to work around glitches in the building process, but there is so much more that could be done to improve reporting. The software is more for individual providers versus facilities, which we work more with.

Collaborate MD Review

Kommentare: Collaborate MD has been very easy to use and train others to use. If/when there has been an issue the customer service is always quick and thorough.

Vorteile:

There are a lot of features Collaborate MD ahs that if used properly can help you stay on top of your workload and are efficient.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the EOBs aren't in their until a few days after the payments were made making it harder to post payments and needing to pull the EOBs from other portals.

They keep billing you long after you cancel

Kommentare: A horrible experience. Don't let the cheap cost fool you, there is no support, and they are very money hungry.

Vorteile:

It worked adequately, but there was no consistent customer training, so we had to figure it out for ourselves.

Nachteile:

Very poor customer support, everyone works remotely, so there is no coordination across departments. As well, when I sold the practice, they would not close the account and stop billing, and would not let me into the closed account to terminate! Fortunately, AMEX removed their billing access, and the FTC complaint filed made them stop this practice. Be careful!

Practice Management Software Userfriendly

Kommentare: This has helped improve my understanding of my business money flow and also see where problems may be developing. It has made things run a whole smoother.

Vorteile:

This has been so user-friendly and such an easy transition and set up. We love this and would recommend it to everyone. Interfaces with our EHR great. My new billing company provides this as part of their services. The Dashboard is awesome and I can see everything about my finances, scheduling, claims, denials, payments. Interfaces with our Transfirst account so all payments are handled in one place and applied directly to the patient's account.

Nachteile:

Have not found any yet with this software. I kind of wish we had looked at their EMR with how easy the practice management software is.

Try to avoid

Kommentare: Very complicated, support not so good. Lots of additional fees to use more features. No way of storing encrypted credit cards.

Vorteile:

It works with Practice Fusion EHR, so I did not want to have to do more manually

Easy to use customizable billing system

Kommentare: I like this system overall, it was hard to get used to the new web based version at first but once I did u like that one a lot.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and create custom reports of the weekly billing and collections, has plenty of features to create custom reports and is better now that it is web based.

Nachteile:

The fact that it freezes a lot and takes a while for it to start working again. Also, sometimes the reports would just stop working and not pull correctly for no reason.

It is organized and accessible......It does integrate with ePower

Nachteile:

All the data that a marketer might need is in Collaborate, however, they are no pre-defined reports that would be geared to utilizing the data for marketing. Other than sending a birthday reminder.

WONDERFUL BILLING SOFTWARE

Vorteile:

Collaborate MD is a dowloaded software program that can be used web-based as well. It also has capabilities for practice management, claims management and intergrated payment processing features.

Nachteile:

So far so good with using Collaborate MD. We have used this software for our medical practice for years and would not even change to any other program.
