Quality Practice Management Software
Kommentare: After working on a variety of practice management systems, from the very expensive to the potentially cost-prohibitive, I've found CollaborateMD to be extremely easy to use, as well as afford. From day-to-day tasks like checking insurance eligibility, to in-depth data mining and reporting, CollaborateMD has been an excellent solution for our practice.
Vorteile: Ease of use/functionality.
Nachteile: The interface from our EHR to the PMS is uni-directional, and bi-directional would be ideal.

THE BEST MED SOFTWARE
Vorteile: Collaborate is an easy to use software that is user friendly with many easy to navigate features. Many options on every reporting tab. Patient portal, demographics, financial and insurance information. This program also has auto updates that allows you to choose from the most updated icd10 codes and claim choices.
Nachteile: The customer service could use improvement. Collaborate requests that you contact customer support through a message center and sometimes with the busy work flow the instant assistance would be more beneficial. If you are working on a report for the practice and need immediate assistance, you have to place the task to the side until Collaborate contacts you via message or via a phone call. They do have a self help option that sometimes needs more assistance with a one on one customer service rep

CollaborateMD is the best kept secret in the industry bar none!
Vorteile: I can say with confidence from my own experiences plus colleagues' reported experiences with several of the most well known medical billing/practice management systems, that Collaborate MD is the best product among them all. It's the easiest, fastest, most intuitive, user friendly product with unlimited professional support in every area for as long as you have the product. They have one goal, to get their customer's claims paid as fast as possible, and they take it very seriously. They are constantly improving their product with many updates throughout the year which include implementing customer's input to maintain a cutting edge product that is continually evolving. For the price, it's a steal in comparison to other systems. If they ever get wise to what they have, they would charge far more for their services.
Nachteile: Nothing. Product is exceptional all around and the people are top-notch professionals who know their product and area of expertise.

Excellent customization abilities within Scheduling and Reporting functions
Kommentare: It makes it easy for staff to understand billing procedures and therefore they can better explain to patients when balances accrue due to coinsurance/copays/deductibles.
Vorteile: The programming is intuitive and each section of a patient's account, such as patient data and claim data, communicates together (which improves ease of use and decreases labor costs).
Nachteile: It needs to have bidirectional communication with our EHR, Practice Fusion. Claims are sent from PF to CMD, but patient data is not communicated from CMD to PF, which costs us labor to input the schedule and patient data twice, once in each program.

If you are a Medical biller, CMD provides all the tools you need to track your claims within the software
Kommentare: I love it. I have all the tools and support I need to get my claims paid. While using CMD, we have increase our clients revenue by a minimum of 15% and some as high as 50%.
Vorteile: They are constantly improving the software based on what we, the billers, need. Very professional and knowledgeable staff and support is at no additional charge.
Nachteile: CMD is a billing system. If you are looking for a more robust scheduler and other enhancements you may be disappointed. But as a biller; nothing else matters if you cannot get the claim out the door!
Kommentare: I am the biller for a psychologist and his assistant. We have a small practice with a high Medicare volume. I started looking for a program because of the rejections from Medicare. I had to do double entry; by creating the claims on a PDF formatted HCFA form to print out on the actual forms and then mailing the claims in. Once they were mailed, my provider had to wait for up to a month for reimbursement of the claims. It was costing us a fortune to create these claims! The system we were using was not meeting our needs when it came to scheduling both of the providers in the office. When we started on April 1st with CollaborateMD we were using 8.3.1 but a recent upgrade brought us up to 8.4. The upgrade was seamless and introduced the ability to assign tasks to other users (which I love!). The implementation went very fast. The data entry took about 2 weeks because I was doing it alone, but since our providers only see about 30-40 patients a week, it wasn't horrible. I did enter every patient from the old system just for the history. The training was through and I felt very supported and still do by our implementation specialist, Amanda. The only hiccup, if you will, has been with a payor denying claims that would not be denied on their own website due to a member ID number discrepancy. The customer support has been wonderful. I call or email Amanda and I get a response quickly if not right away. I have benefitted from this change because I am getting most of my payments by ERA and now submitting most every claim electronically. I only have 1 payor who is not currently accepting electronic claims submission. I am very happy with my choice in this program. My only complaint is I wish we could have done it sooner.

Collaborate The Cheaper Way To Server A Practice
Kommentare: Collaborate works in sync with Practice Fusion, which is the electronic medical record side, and for the price, it is amazing software. Collaborate MD is a billing software which is low cost and easy for people who are not the most computer savy to use. Though the reports may not be very detailed or designed with special graphic functions they are easy to read and use to follow up on the money, and the customer support is one call away and most of all always happy to assist you. It has proven for us to be dependable and great to work with.
Vorteile: I love the ability to print multiple charts at one time. When working with accounts where you have to review multiple accounts and print billing for them it is nice to have software where you do not have to do one chart at a time.
Nachteile: The reporting system is not very elaborate it is very simple and not as detailed as you may like.

WONDERFUL BILLING SOFTWARE
Vorteile: Collaborate MD is a dowloaded software program that can be used web-based as well. It also has capabilities for practice management, claims management and intergrated payment processing features.
Nachteile: So far so good with using Collaborate MD. We have used this software for our medical practice for years and would not even change to any other program.

Kommentare: Easy and efficient claim submission!
Vorteile: CollaborateMD makes it easy to bill multiple claims quickly and efficiently. I like that it instantly notifies you of any errors on a claim before it is sent to the clearinghouse. Rejection reports are easy to understand and link you to the claim form to instantly make necessary corrections.
Nachteile: We honestly have not had much trouble with this software. I can't remember the last time we needed customer support, which is awesome!

Review of Collaborate MD
Vorteile: The reports on the software contain a lot of useful information for A/R follow up, and ease of use. The creation of claims is very easy and simple to use as well. The software is very easy on the eyes, and easy to comprehend. The large buttons at the top are not overwhelming, as I've seen in other comparable medical software systems.
Nachteile: The inability to see a payment and where it was applied can be difficult when speaking with a patient, and they ask "Where did my $100 apply to?" which would require you to add up each of the applied portions of the payment. Sometimes system slowness can be an issue when trying to add new claims and patient demographics.

Practice Management Software Userfriendly
Kommentare: This has helped improve my understanding of my business money flow and also see where problems may be developing. It has made things run a whole smoother.
This has been so user-friendly and such an easy transition and set up.
We love this and would recommend it to everyone. Interfaces with our EHR great. My new billing company provides this as part of their services.
The Dashboard is awesome and I can see everything about my finances, scheduling, claims, denials, payments.
Interfaces with our Transfirst account so all payments are handled in one place and applied directly to the patient's account.
Nachteile: Have not found any yet with this software. I kind of wish we had looked at their EMR with how easy the practice management software is.
Kommentare: If I had to rate CollaborateMD for their support and never ending kindness for my business and family, I would rate them a 10! Having a dedicate Client Relationship Experience Manger is one of our greatest investments with CollaborateMD. With the recent loss of my son, who conducted all of our business transactions, I could not see the road in which I would be able to carry on his legacy. CollaborateMD stepped in not only for moral support but their kindness goes beyond words. They took the time to teach me the system that I knew so little about. I felt as if they owned my business and did everything possible to make me succeed. They were so patient and never made me feel as if I was incompetent of running a business after the loss of my son. I was able to call anytime and get the help I needed to keep the business going! Loosing my son was tragic, I could not loose my business as well, CollaborateMD made sure that this would never happen. Having CollaborateMD at my side through ever step to continue with my business made life so much easier to cope with. They truly demonstrated love, dedication, commitment to Ozark Medical Billing Services both on a personal and business level. I will forever be thankful to CollaborateMD for all of my successes.

Love this software!
Kommentare: We only use it as a scheduler and interface it with our EHR. So we dont use all the features, however the system works great. I would recommend it.

Review of CollaborateMD
Vorteile: One of the most positive things about Collaborate MD is their willingness to listen and change their software if they can and if the platform allows the change requested.
Nachteile: The reports on Collaborate MD seem extensive and is promoted as "write any report that you can imagine", however, writing reports that include Revenue, Receipts and Adjustment is not an option and simply can not be done. In addition, month end and year end reports are not saved on the system, should you require month end or year end information it is necessary to collect and save reports to Excel or similar software. The problem with this is predicting exactly what you may need to report 1 to 5 years or longer from now. In a "real time" environment it is difficult to balance daily reports much less monthly or annual. All input to the system must stop until you gather reports or they do not balance, if you are a 24/7 facility this can create a nightmare for accounting.

Client Onboarding Supervisor
Vorteile: The representatives. Tahjahnique Jones helped me today and broke things down easily so that I could understand them and sent me forms and documents that I was requesting immediately to my email. I was impressed with her professionalism and timeliness. She was very helpful and friendly.
Nachteile: That it does not merge accounts. I would just like to see this software be more flexible with its customers.
Kommentare: As the office manager for a psychologist and assistant (PA), I knew the software that was being used when I came on board was the biggest issue with the cash flow in the office. I checked into two different vendors when I was looking to make a change in the software used. I looked at Kareo and CollaborateMD. The price was fairly similar and the software was web-based for both systems. The turning point for our decision was the unlimited support after implementation as well as no time limit for implementation. If it takes 2 months for the user to feel comfortable enough after the implementation to be released, CollaborateMD's support will have the same implementation specialist assigned to you. There is no rush to "sink or swim". I felt very educated when my specialist (Amanda) released me to support. My only "complaint", if you can even call it that, is there's no mobile version of the software...yet! I know the engineers are working on something so it will be mobile soon.

Stay Away it will cost you money
Vorteile: The sales person I had was excellent and she knew the system. She would help with setup, as the CS hours are so short and often I couldn't speak with them. But she's left and then I had to deal with CS and that's when everything went south.
Nachteile: The Customer Service is horrible, hours are very short the staff is not trained. Double billing is the norm it feels like. No one will talk to you everything is a battle with them.

We Use CMD - And So Should You!
Kommentare: CollaborateMD has been absolutely phenomenal to work with. No matter the time of day, the scope of the problem, whether it is a user error, system issue, or where we can't figure out how to get from point A to point B, CollaborateMD has been there holding our hand every step of the way with their support, training, and encouragement. We could not have moved as quickly as we have without CollaboratMD s unflagging support and constant monitoring of our progress as we took each step forward in this process.
Vorteile: We have 6 facilities under 1 umbrella, and a completely different setup from any other client, CollaborateMD has stepped up and taken ownership of our success as if they had a vested interest in our company.
Nachteile: We have nothing but rave reviews when it comes to CollaborateMD!

Kommentare: My CollaborateMD Training Specialist was phenomenal. She answered all of my questions thoroughly, used examples and even posed additional questions we didn't know to ask to further clarify a topic. Because of the training I received, I feel very comfortable and confident using all sections of CollaborateMD by myself. I know if I ever have a question, support is there for me. Overall, the training was top-notch, the CollaborateMD program is easy to learn, easy to use, very affordable with excellent continued support and customer service. I can't imagine any other billing software on the market today that is so easy to use and intuitive with this kind of professional support and customer service. Simple to use and great results
Vorteile: The UI is very easy to use and navigate. Meets all the needs i have
Nachteile: Password resets can be tricky. Seems that the password requirement is changed frequently (good for security not so much for my brain)

Do not use this company, their customer service is rude and not helpful at all
Vorteile: Price and ease of use, it sounds good on paper until you actually need assistance from the customer service department than you are in big trouble
Nachteile: Where do I start. So many issues with this company and getting ERA set up, they are horrible. We will not put another client on this software due to this.

This system is awesome
Kommentare: I recently switched from Nuemd because we were having a lot of problems both with claims and with their customer service. I have found this system to be easier to use, much more efficient and a lot less expensive. Their training process was great and they are always taking suggestions from customers to make their product even better.

CMD is good for RCM and reporting purpose.
Kommentare: I used the CMD and find out the good reporting areas, revenue cycle and new enhancements.
