Gutes Tool zum Zeit-Tracken

Kommentare: Insgesamt schätze ich Toggl für die Einfachheit und die Integrationen. Das Browser-Plugin sowie die App funktionieren gut, der Rest lässt sich über die WebApp einstellen.

Vorteile:

Ich habe mich für Toggl entschieden, da es perfekt zusammen mit ToDoIst funktioniert. So kann ich meine Aufgaben mit einem Klick mit tracken.

Nachteile:

Generell bin ich sehr zufrieden, nur eine Schnittstelle zu meinem Programm für die Rechnungsstellung wäre noch hilfreich.

A Great Time Tracking Software!

Kommentare: I wasn't an admin user, so I'm not sure if this is a feature available to all users. However, I wish there were a way for me to receive notifications when I'm running low on time for a project. I believe this feature exists for admins, but I'm uncertain if it's available for regular team members.

Vorteile:

It has a very clean interface! It is very easy to use and I love the reports and goals to help me feel productive.

Nachteile:

I really didn't have any issues with it.

Toggl is Fabulous for Time Tracking!

Kommentare: I've been using it for 5+ years and love it! Easy to use, easy to setup, and helpful for accountability on where your time is going.

Vorteile:

Toggl is easy to use! You can create projects easily, add team members, and get a great understanding of where your time is going on a daily, weekly, monthly, or annual basis.

Nachteile:

It sometimes randomly will open a new tab in your web browser to tell you about changes happening to Toggl.

Time manager lacking development

Kommentare: Initial program as previously indicated, easy setup, good initial price, but with a fairly high lack of development. We believe that this prevented us from having it as number one since our needs rose and we needed immediate data and access that the program did not provide us with.

Vorteile:

One of the first time management applications that we used in the team at my company Chevron, we really believe that it was the best but it lacked development, the strong point is that it is at an affordable price, long-term and major clauses could be modified benefits, on the other hand it gave rise to a culture of taking time in the company, before we did not have that capacity to realize the time we were wasting, and this application was originally a good test and started saving time as it should.

Nachteile:

Good time taking, but very limited, remote control did not work, difficult access to collaborators with a pin that did not reach, bad support among other characteristics.

Great starting time tracker

Kommentare: Overall, I think this is great basic time tracking software. It's easy to use and gives basic reports. It doesn't do much beyond that, so if you need more you'll need to get something else.

Vorteile:

It was perfect for starting out as a freelancer and keeping track of hours and projects. The free account was enough for me and 2 employees. I thought the set-up was fair and my team quickly picked up on how to use it. I also tested MyHours and thought Toggl was better. Both have responsive customer service.

Nachteile:

When the team got larger and projects more complicated, I needed to invest in something that I could do more

The best tracking tool out there

Kommentare: Great, my favourite time tracking tool. It's great that you can track time on your desktop app, web version, and app!

Vorteile:

Easy and visually appealing interface. I have tried other apps but I always come back to Toggl. As a visual person, I love Toggl Track's visual appeal and colour choice!

Nachteile:

Adding the Calendar view can fill up the screen and make it less visually appealing. When joining another organisation's plan my own plan's time entries got deleted so I had to manually re-enter them. In the end I had to create a separate Chrome profile to be able to access the other organisation's plan and track my time with them.

The perfect time-tracking tool

Kommentare: I have used Toggl for years; first on the free version for several years, and now on a paid subscription for advanced functions. It's a beautiful product and I recommend it to others all the time.

Vorteile:

This app makes it seamless to log and report out on my time. I love how easy it is to use, and the clean, beautiful visual design. The ability to add projects and tasks is also really useful in reporting and billing.

Nachteile:

I wish it were a little easier to leave and view notes on individual time entries; it would be helpful in writing detailed work summaries to go with client invoices.

Love it but expensive when have a team

Kommentare: Love it so much but with a growing team I might need to look for alternatives since the price is a bit high.

Vorteile:

How user friendly it is! I've easily been able to add clients and it's so easy to switch between tasks. I also love how the tab shows the timer time- it's a feature that I love since sometimes I will switch to a difference task but forget to update Toggl but when I see the timer running it reminds me to update the task or just get a read on how long I've been working on a task.

Nachteile:

I recently hired a team member and realized I need to upgrade Toggl in order to run any reports with the team member' time. It is really expensive to be on a paid plan especially since this team member only works 5ish hours a month. Wish there were lower cost options for small teams. I also help my clients do time audits and usually this is a barrier to entry when there are a lot of team members.

Great time tracking app!

There are many ways to view the hours you’ve logged and you can log hours for multiple organizations with one free account. It’s a very comprehensive app overall

Nachteile:

The mobile app lacks the different calendar views the website. I am not sure how to use the analytics features and I am confused by how you save different layouts. Maybe it’s something that becomes more clear with the paid versions.

Very useful for medical students

Vorteile:

The calendar feature in the app with dragging to adjust time is indispensable. The analysis features are awesome, being able to see how much time is spent each day and on what. The pomodoro integration is nice and keeps me accountable. As a medical student, this tool is very powerful for managing time and keeping on track.

Nachteile:

I wish I could generate a Google Calendar link and then use that to link my Google Cal with Toggl. I do not want to have to log in to my Google account in order to have this feature, and I’d like to have it as a separate calendar which I can toggle on and off on the Google side.

Use it almost every day

Kommentare: Solid product, I wish there was a quicker way to round time to full hours / half hours or full minutes though, atm you have to manually modify it.

Vorteile:

Ease of use to log time by just opening the page and pressing one button. The summary of the time, which tells me how long I worked on what. Also that times can be nicely edited.

Nachteile:

Sometimes I open it and accidentally start tracking. Then 8 hours later I receive an email telling me that I'm tracking the whole time.

Toggl Track: The Ultimate Time Tracking Tool for Professionals

Kommentare: Toggl Track is an excellent application for individuals or companies needing to track employee time across multiple projects and tasks. I love having access to mobile, web, and desktop applications. I primarily use the web version as it fits seamlessly into my daily workflow alongside other browser tabs for email, search, and other productivity tools. The integrations with other software platforms are a nice bonus, though I am not currently utilizing them. Customer Support! The support I receive is superb. Integrated into the web application, support is just a click away. They have the ability to chat during normal hours and when offline; they are prompt to return and engage to solve any issues or answer any questions through email. Thank you for your support over the years! Overall, Toggl Track has significantly improved my time management and project tracking efficiency.

Toggl Track offers unparalleled capabilities for tracking time across various projects and tasks. As someone who continually monitors the time tracking landscape, I can confidently say that Toggl Track is truly the best in its class. Specifically, I appreciate the following features: - The ability to set individualized hourly rates for both individuals and tasks. - Flexibility to override the default rate when necessary. - Categorization of project work into billable and non-billable categories. - Robust reporting and analytics that provide a filtered view of the projects and tasks I have worked on during a given period.

Nachteile:

This list is quite short, as the Toggl Track team is consistently releasing new features. For instance, the current Invoice generation feature is rather basic. However, based on the robustness of their other features, I expect this feature to improve significantly over time. I still rely on another time tracking tool for invoicing due to its advanced features. Recently, I needed to amend some project time entries that exceeded 90 days. Unfortunately, this was not possible directly. Instead, I had to add the time entry to the current day and designated project, then change the date of the work to the desired time period. While this workaround was not perfect, it was functional. I understand the potential performance-related issues of maintaining such a large data set, especially for larger companies. However, extending the editable time period to cover the company's calendar year could be beneficial.

Great timetracking and reporting tool

Kommentare: Great experience. Would like to see improvement on the weak parts, but these wouldn't stop me from using Toggl by any means.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, stability, features, tracking local activities on pc's to assign time worked on projects afterwards if you forgot to start a timer. It does a great job dividing tasks into several chunks according to activity.

Nachteile:

The userinterface, for instance searching for and managing projects and clients is clumsy and could be a lot more streamlined.

Best time tracker for me. Easy and useful

Vorteile:

UX. I think it's best time tracking service.

Nachteile:

No plugin for Intellij Idea exists. I need it for toggl plan.

Intuitive. Useful. Generous free plan.

Kommentare: I have been using Toggl Track off and on for about 3 years now. I used it to track how much time I spent doing homework for college classes to get a better understanding of how much work a 3-credit-hour class actually takes, and now I'm using it to track my hours at work. I have used the free plan the entire time and find it to be sufficient for all of my needs. It's a simple piece of software that makes my life easier.

Vorteile:

The free plan offers a lot of functionality without paying a penny. The user interface is very efficient and intuitive to use - just press the play button and you're off. I like that I can categorize my time entries into different projects to get a more detailed view of where my time is going and then see a weekly report with it all summarized.

Nachteile:

It seems like reports don't load/update on the Android mobile app unless you're connected to Internet and it has a chance to sync your time entries, which kind of makes sense, but also doesn't to me. I work in rural areas with limited Internet connectivity, so it's a little annoying to not be able to load my reports while out in the field.

An essential tool for solo workers

Vorteile:

I've been using the free version of Toggl Track for over ten years. I don't pay for the extra features, only because they are not necessary for what I do (they would be useful if I used it for team work). If I were asked to pay (a reasonable fee) for the features that are currently free ì, I would pay for them, as this is a tool I use every working day.

Nachteile:

1) The color scheme. It would really be better if it was customizable 2) Too much wasted space. It would be great if the user could select a more compact layout, so as to show more lines.

Many great features, few flaws, great support!

Vorteile:

That I can have a separate workspace for each client. That is does 7-day tracking and allows you to choose your own start of the week day. I love the fact that it now groups and adds up the times for distinct Tasks in a single day-space, but see Cons section. The fact that it allows me to track time for multiple projects for a single client and keeps the totals distinct. But see Cons . Support Team are really helpful and responsive.

Nachteile:

The fact that it does not give one the ability to round times tracked either up or down to the nearest complete fraction of an hour. If one does not do this , the total time for a day can be off and then multiple days like this cause an incorrect weekly total time. So I have to do the rounding manually for billing purposes. This is a pain.

Time Tracking and Reporting

Kommentare: It has met my needs well. They have been very responsive if there was an issue discovered.

Vorteile:

The UI is Simple and easy to use. The built-in reports are great and provide a lot of flexibility.

Nachteile:

My company wants me to track my time but doesn't want to pay for Toggl so I am stuck using the free version.

Perfect, free version for client-based, billable hours-type work

Vorteile:

My non-profit/association management company uses Toggl Track heavily, as we have to track all time to a specific organization and project/task within that organization. We use the free version and I love how it is easy to create color-coded "clients" and add "projects" within each "client." I personally track time manually, by the five minutes, and that system works for me. I know that there is a way to use a stopwatch, which several of my colleagues prefer. The free version provides just enough for what you need if you do not require elaborate reporting. There is also a way to view basic reports of your time tracked for the week, by the client or project, to get a sense of your work overview if time tracking is essential to your job.

Nachteile:

I find that Toggl Track often experiences outages and bugs. It's not a terrible amount, but it seems more often than other platforms that we use. I also wish there was an easier way to track lunch/non-billable breaks where the time doesn't show in the weekly time report and I need to manually subtract unassigned project time.

Simple, easy to use

Kommentare: It's been great. Very helpful to have a simple way to track time. We don't need extensive time tracking in our organization, just a quick capture of how I spent my time, so this tool is fantastic for that.

Vorteile:

It's simplicity. I like that I can quickly slot something in and then get back to work.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it's a little bit slow when I click on things in the app and it slows down my workflow a little bit.

A very versatile time tracking product to keep up with time stats.

Kommentare: Toggl Track has been giving me a very accurate experience monitoring my time usage statistics and has allowed me to adopt healthy time usage behaviours which are allowing me to get all my work done within the right time. Toggl Track makes time tracking so easy and straightforward therefore helping not to spend much time tracking my time.

Vorteile:

Toggl Track has a pro time reporting feature that gives very precise time usage statistics. It also provides automation workflows which makes it possible to track time automatically without affecting my performance. It provides real-time insights that makes it easy to evaluate time usage behaviours and help avoid time wastage.

Nachteile:

Toggl Track work is perfect and I have not had any negative feedback about it.

One of the best time tracking tools

Vorteile:

Toggl Track is extremely easy to use. We use it for work but I would honestly also recommend it to a friend if tracking enables them to be more consistent and efficient in their personal lives. In terms of work use, it is so easy to use and set up different projects and tasks and it works great for monitoring how much time is spent on each project, monitoring staff overtime, and it creates really helpful reports too.

Nachteile:

I would not say that there is something I actively do not like about toggl track. Maybe it is a setting thing but I would like to go back further on some weeks to review time spent on projects.

Good straightforward product to make time tracking less painful than it needs to be

Kommentare: Overall a good product. Does exactly what I hoped it would do, with no unnecessarily big functionality to weigh it down or make it difficult to use.

Vorteile:

Easy to install and use. Made tracking development time much less painful than it would have been without it. There was not much of a learning curve either.

Nachteile:

The app did its job well. I only messed up when I myself forgot to turn it on or off, so I cannot blame the application for it.

Kommentare: I use Toggl Track to check on my time usage both on work and personal tasks and it has done me great justice. It help me keep up with healthy time usage behaviors which has helped me become productive abd reliable.

Vorteile:

I have loved Toggl Track ease of use from day one and the interface has been so clean. Toggl Track integrates perfectly with Google Calendar which makes it easy to monitor time on my event entries. It has timer mode that help monitor time automatically in real time.

Nachteile:

To be honest, i have zero issues with Toggl Track. It has suited me perfectly.

Very reliant on this app

I don't like not being able to see all my workspaces on the same day. This was changed recently, and sometimes switching from one work space is clunky as it refuses to change workspace sometimes!
