Vorteile:

We liked that we could have everything in one system including billing thru quickbooks and our subscriptions. Its very easy to use after taking the training and using daily.

Nachteile:

I get why - but we have asked for a button to make it show inactive so we don't have it on a drop down.

You won't regret it!

Kommentare: I have been very satisfied w/ Magazine Manager; the program, reaching and tracking support has improved immensely; training availability and said category for training can be suited for individual needs.

Vorteile:

They are making it so you can have one program that does the job of many. It's my CRM, it's my task manager, it handles my email marketing, keeps me informed of my team's progress; helps w/ me a/r; which has saved our company time and money in getting rid of programs no longer needed, reaching a larger client base and in staying on top of our collections. They offer regular training not just on their crm but sales trainings by their team as well as outsiders, like [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN]. They are constantly improving their system;

Nachteile:

That I can't make groups on the fly; that invoices can't reference an ad name; that we can't track when a client open's an email. however, when I come up with these instances these can either provide me with a work around or they are in the midst of solving that issue.

Super intuitive and user friendly. Amazing customer support and quick resolutions to any questions or issues. Highly recommend this CRM to any magazine or publication.

Can have some challenges with integrations with Outlook.

Good CRM Software

Kommentare: Magazine Manager definitely helps our business run smoothly. Would recommend to others, but I hope that MM will improve their customer service and support venues.

Vorteile:

Magazine manager helps us keep our contacts and orders organized and all in one place.

Nachteile:

Help files tend to be very outdated, so there is a lot of reliance on tech support, which is usually good but can be a bit of a struggle depending who you speak to. "Updates" don't always make a lot of sense - sometimes make things more difficult.

The ability to copy proposals is advantageous.

Nachteile:

Agencies are not connected to Clients. I can go the client page to find the agency, but unable find the client on the agency page.

If you do not see this section, it can enabled through the Page Layout settings available in the Action Panel on an Agency Record. Should you need assistance or have any further questions, you can reach out to your software consultant, and they would be more than happy to help you!

Kommentare: Overall I am quite happy with the change, and look forward to growing with magazine manager and learning the new features that they are constantly adding on a regular basis.

Vorteile:

I finally found a CRM that was built for the publishing industry that we didn't have to pay someone a lot of money to build out. They are constantly doing updates to make it or intuitive and friendly.

Nachteile:

Sometimes it is more complicated than it needs to be, or they haven't completely developed certain aspects they are still under development.

Magazine Manager Helps Keep it Together!

Kommentare: Easy to use and manage all of my working accounts. Providing detailed report outs of past years - comparisons to previous issues and products.

Vorteile:

Keeping everything in one place and easily pulling needed information. Keeps me on task - providing quick review of past sales / etc.

Nachteile:

The inability to schedule our digital packages with many products as one line item - while still providing a sub job jacket or something for artwork and schedule

Vorteile:

Magazine manager allows me to keep organized with all of my tasks. Future calls scheduled meetings. These features help me tremendously with my daily workflow and time management. What I like best for each contact entered, I can go to notes and activity and enter or review what was discussed last.

Nachteile:

What I like least about magazine manager is that there are too many ways to search for a contact. This leads to multiple entries of the same business. This has caused confusion and controversy between other sales reps.

Organizing My Clients

Reliable and easy to use

Kommentare: Solid experience so far. I've found that the essential things I need coming from a Salesforce-heavy background are satisfied.

Vorteile:

In the short amount of time I've been using Magazine Manager as my daily CRM, I've found it very easy to find new tools to incorporate into making my daily routing.

Nachteile:

Email integration took a bit of time for our internal operations team but it is working well now.

Easy to use

Kommentare: Great. I also like that I have the option to work with a consultant at anytime. The Help chat for immediate answers is great too.

Vorteile:

It helps me organize the sales, and production of every issue. I use it to track potential advertisers for each issue. As well as understanding past advertiser's behaviour.

Nachteile:

There are so many features that are available and so little time to set up the system to your advantage. Almost every time I watch a webinar there is a new tool/trick to using the system better.

Robust and Affordable for the Small Business

Kommentare: Excellent. From the initial training to all of the follow-ups and the help center, this program, even as robust as it is, has enough training to be fully implemented with ease. The program is a game changer. The amazing people make a difference. Never have I been overwhelmed as I know there will either be a training video or I can reach out to my personal advisor to ask questions.

Vorteile:

Having all the tools under one system and its affordability to a small business.

Nachteile:

I haven't found any cons yet. But, if I do, I will let you know.

The ease with which it makes our job as marketers much easier with the new updates

Nachteile:

There isn't really anything I don't like least about the Magazine Manager. It's just setting time aside to learn everything that it does for us.

Powerful Publishing Software

Vorteile:

Ease of use and very intuitive. Customer support is amazing.

Nachteile:

There is nothing in particular that I dislike about Magazine Manager. The product software is constantly updated and improved. When I have needed a new report for some kind of analysis, the customer support team has assisted in a timely fashion.

Magazine Manager is a Great CRM

Kommentare: Great system. Talked with others who struggle with their CRM and if there are issues, someone is always there to help you through it. Great IT support!

Vorteile:

Ease of working in the system. Reports are readily available and easy to download. Invoicing and receivables are easy to complete and track in the system.

Nachteile:

Initial set up of products was a bit confusing, but after you do a few it is pretty easy.

A one-stop marketing and CRM account management system

Kommentare: We are marketing our publication products to our CRM base, and are able to create automated workflows to save time. Not only for advertising, but also to manage our subscriptions. Marketing manger has been extremely effective. Their Customer service and training is also wonderful with a daily live chat feature too.

Vorteile:

The customer service is the best I have experienced. Magazine has may features that allow you to operate your business all from within one system

Nachteile:

Some features are missing, specifically on the production alerts. However, Magazine Manager is extremely responsive to feature requests, and my hope is that these features will be added in the future.

Usable but could be inproved, from a new user

Vorteile:

Theres lots of ways to utilize the CRM program to your needs, from keeping track of clients and records. The ability to link to email is also helpful. My favorite feature is tracking communication

Nachteile:

Flipping between tabs/the software itself it not the most user friendly, more so it feels rudimentary.

Essential for magazine ad sales

Kommentare: Fantastic program and I love it! I have used many crm program but this one is specifically designed for magazine and it makes it easier to track and plan ahead for many years.

The ability to create proposals and track opportunities linked to companies and individuals from the company

Great Product and easy to use!

The ease and convenience of setting up and using the customer database, and being able to track all of our advertising contracts digitally.

Vorteile:

It's easy to use and simple to learn, and is able to manage and track everything that I work with on a daily basis.

Nachteile:

My only complaint is how the updates are rolled out. There is information about them the first time you log in after the update, but it would be nice to be made aware of them ahead of time.

I like that everything is available at my fingertips. I am transitioning over from using paper to computer and love how this stores all of my information.

The email integration for Mail Chimp was a little lengthy.
