I have had a very positive experience working with the Lexbe eDiscovery Platform and their employees

Kommentare: The software is very helpful in making Discovery easy for processing, review and production. It allows me to easily handle most jobs individually with the option of offering services to assist on larger or more difficult cases.

Vorteile:

Some of the great advantages of using Lexbe include vast data types supported, multiple options for data processing and production, and a user friendly interface allowing for easy document review. Lexbe offers amazing customer support including training and monthly webinars as well as a very knowledgeable staff that goes out of the way to meet your firm's needs. They also offer great rates to be flexible with your firms storage needs and no additional charges for uploading and other common fees that you would incur if using a competitors platform.

Nachteile:

Depending on site traffic, data formats, and file sizes sometimes the data processing can be slightly time consuming for uploading collections or downloading productions. However, this is the case with any program and the Lexbe support experts are very helpful in moving the process along.

Kommentare: I have had a great experience with Lexbe so far in uploading documents, reviewing and running document productions.

Vorteile:

The ease of setup and use. Very user friendly.

Nachteile:

I wish there was more space to add comments when reviewing documents, but it is not a big problem.

Its Fine For Smaller Projects

Vorteile:

Keyword search is the best feature, especially for the projects we use Lexbe for.

Nachteile:

Not being able to open more than one document at a time limits its effectiveness.

Lexbe from a Litigation Paralegal's point of view

Kommentare: It has been great and the webinars and availability of the professional services team are excellent resources.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the features aren't buried in the platform but accessible and easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

I would like to see added features for transcript summarization, transcript and audio/video synchronization (for trial exhibits) and chronology tools.

I have yet to discover any flaws. Some may pop up once I have used the platform more, but for the time being, it is great

Lexbe is an Easy to Use eDiscovery Platform

Kommentare: We've been using Lexbe for over a decade and it has improved with technology. Productions are very easy to run and document uploads are fast and simple. Pricing is great!

Vorteile:

They are constantly upgrading their platform to improve their product. It is easy to use and share with co-counsel. It is ADA compliant. Their service is phenomenal!!

Nachteile:

They don't often warn you before an upgrade so you may be in the middle of a big project and end up have to learn how to use the upgrade. (normally they have way to go back to the prior version).

Great e-discovery platform

Kommentare: Positive! The reps are easy work work with and respond to my many many questions timely and happily.

Vorteile:

Customer service is amazing. Platform is relatively easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

There is no easy way to download certain data

Great Customer Service with Lexbe Subscription

Kommentare: I am the legal assistant and so, I am in charge of uploading the documents to the cases. I have the easiest of the jobs among the firm. Uploading the folders of documents was relatively easy. There were a few points of frustration and delays, but overall, I had no issues with Lexbe, and I really appreciated the customer service aspect of Lexbe as well.

Vorteile:

The assistance from the representatives at Lexbe. They are always checking in with us and making sure we are happy/satisfied. They are always around for questions. They respond very quickly.

Nachteile:

Lexbe is not altogether user friendly. It gets a little frustrating at times. It should be a little more simplified than what it is.

Great Experience

Kommentare: I enjoy it. It is a great platform for legal offices.

Vorteile:

It is an easy platform to navigate. It is easier to share with others within the office.

Nachteile:

nothing yet. I do not seem to have any issues as of at this time.

Fantastic for organizing, analyzing, and sharing documents

Vorteile:

The automatic OCR function, which makes high volumes of documents easily searchable, coupled with the degree of customization for tagging and the ease of sharing cloud-hosted documents among team members makes Lexbe a stellar tool for analyzing, organizing, and collaborating on case document collections, no matter how vast the universe of documents.

Nachteile:

The production features could be improved. Namely, the privilege marking, placeholder production when encountering incompatible document formats or otherwise problematic files, and the length of time it takes for the system to process and Bates stamp a production can be frustrating, time consuming, and occasionally lead to discovery disputes between parties.

Make Lexbe Your eDiscovery Platform

Kommentare: I would highly recommend Lexbe to any law firm looking for an eDiscovery platform.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is super easy to learn and use, and is an incredible value. Layout and user interface is much more straight forward than other more costly platforms. You will find ways to use Lexbe's document processing capabilities for other document and communications analyses not necessarily related to discovery. The upload process is so quick and easy and the cost is so reasonable Lexbe becomes a tool you will use almost every day. Once you gain proficiency with Lexbe you will be surprised with how quickly and accurately you can respond to any case research question an attorney might have.

Nachteile:

I don't like paying for support calls but I understand it's necessary.

Not your Everyday E-Discovery Platform

Kommentare: We enjoy the hands-on set up of the Lexbe platform. It is easy to use and navigate. The professional services team is always available and quick to respond and step in to assist when needed. There is also frequent training available.

Vorteile:

The ease of use. The ability to upload documents, review documents, and run production sets in-house. The ability to save complex searches either on a user or case level. The ability to see the history of review of a document.

Nachteile:

When crafting search terms and proximity search terms other e-discovery platforms syntax for the searches may not always be compatible with Lexbe.

First Choice For Small Firms and E-Discovery Novices

Kommentare: Our law firm has limited experience in cases which involve e-discovery from large datasets. These often involve a smaller entity or even an individual taking on a large company. Lexbe has been helpful to us in data collection in responding to discovery and reviewing documents obtained in discovery. We have some experience with other online programs. We find that they are not as user friendly, and they are separate from the e-discovery vendor that consults and collects the data. This leads to a breakdown in support. The level of customer service at Lexbe is truly superior. Fast to respond. Explanations are understandable and advice is practical and easy to implement. We couldn't be more pleased.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is a user friendly but still very powerful e-discovery tool.

Nachteile:

I am hard pressed to find a drawback in Lexbe. I hope that it continues to find more widespread use because that will facilitate cooperation with other counsel.

Lexbe - Cost Efficient and Easy

Kommentare: I have used this platform 7-8 years and they have continuously worked to make improvements as technology advances. Their team is easy to work with and very knowledgeable in all things EDRM.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is very user friendly and intuitive. The pricing is hard to beat on the market.

Nachteile:

It is not very simple to perform complex searches/filtering.

User interface

Kommentare: I would rate 5 stars for their customer support where they have designed personnel assigned. The client management, reporting and easy of deployment was also very well managed.

Vorteile:

The most likable feature was the product was super use friendly and how easy it was to integrate into our existing business platform. The case management, access controls and reporting was also top tier.

Nachteile:

Although this might be biased, I think their pricing could be more competitive with its rivals.

I use Lexbe mostly for producing discovery; despite some hangups, it makes my job a lot easier

Vorteile:

Simple, easy to use interface, especially since latest update Document production & bates stamping quick and easy

Nachteile:

Search functionality is imprecise: occasionally returns false positives Batch document uploading can be a headache, esp. if produced outside of Lexbe; often has to be handled by Technical Services (who are always helpful)

Solid Inexpensive Platform

Vorteile:

Regularly adding features to be more competitive with more robust platforms, per GB pricing is great for smaller cases

Nachteile:

Value doesn't hold up with larger cases, user interface is lacking, updates sometimes break doc viewer

Okay product.

Vorteile:

It's relatively easy to use. Sometimes it runs very fast. Easy to upload files. Easy to make folders and tags.

Nachteile:

Buggy. Sometimes slow. Has functionality flaws that sometimes make it difficult to use. For example, you can't redact things that are larger than the normal size paper, bc the redaction viewer is too small.

Lexbe is an AMAZING COMPANY!

Kommentare: Lexbe has been improving over time. It has the unique benefit of being ADA accessible! It is inexpensive and easy to use. Training is as frequent as needed. They provide a lot of documentation and resources.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is very responsive to requests for improvement/change to their website. They are easy to use and getting better all the time!

Nachteile:

Some features like document redaction and splitting are clunky. Sometimes hard to get it to sort the way you want.

Simple Interface, Easy to Use, Availability of Options for Document Review and Production

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to generate spreadsheets for privilege logs and/or document production logs with hyperlinks that take you directly to the documents. I like the options available for filtering across data sets, and the speed with which the Professional Services team responds to questions/requests. I like that the more complex uploads are handled by Professional Services. I also appreciate the simplicity of the interface.

Nachteile:

Some of the Help articles and videos need to be updated. Also, it would be great if Professional Services could tell you how much storage space an email file will take up before it gets uploaded to the platform.

Great bang for your buck

Kommentare: PROS:
* Value. Lexbe is a very inexpensive and cost-effective e-discovery solution, such that even solo practitioners and small law firms can use it on a day-to-day basis without breaking the bank.
* Functionality. The platform has all the features one needs to satisfy basic ESI processing/production needs, and most of the advanced features of its larger competitors.
* Speed. Lexbe has a very quick turnaround on processing, searches, and production runs.
* Mobility. Because Lexbe is a hosted solution, a user can search for and retrieve documents from anywhere (which comes in very handy when one needs a document on the fly, such as during a deposition or hearing).
* Support. Lexbe staff respond to inquiries quickly and knowledgeably.
* Contextual help links. Lexbe's Help link immediately pulls up support articles related to what the user actually sees on his or her screen. While this feature may sound simple, this eliminates the headaches of trying to find the right help article for a problem. Cons:
* The Lexbe interface is not as aesthetically pleasing or intuitive as many competitors.

Good but not perfect. I've had issues finding the pages of documents containing my search term

Vorteile:

That is is cloud based and pretty speedy, I can easily save documents to my desktop, can easily switch from one library to another

Nachteile:

Search functionality could be improved. Could make it easier to access info about the library (number of docs, pages, etc). Could be better programmed to let me save notes and view documents with notes on them, or mark a document 'hot' without having to add a note

Lexbe is a great do-it-yourself product for e-discovery in a mid-sized law firm

Kommentare: I am able to quickly, efficiently and cost effectively handle my own e-discovery needs!

Vorteile:

Being able to control my own database! Uploading my documents and being able to work in the database on my time, with no vendor related lag time. Lexbe is very user friendly and cost effective.

Nachteile:

Adobe fillable forms and certified signature forms won't load into the viewers. Unfortunately, you don't know how many of those you have in a data set until after they are loaded and processed with place holders. But Lexbe allows you to easily run a report to identify those problem documents.

easy to learn, great customer support

Kommentare: We can easily store and find all the documents from our many cases and access them instantly from different computers. Finally moved us away from emailing documents to each other or storing them on several flash drives.

Vorteile:

I love being able to contact Lexbe whenever I have any questions. Their customer service team is incredibly nice, quick, and helpful.

Nachteile:

Some parts of the platform are not immediately intuitive but pretty easy to learn over time. It can be a little harder to learn for people who aren't used to working on computers all the time.
