I have had a very positive experience working with the Lexbe eDiscovery Platform and their employees

Kommentare: The software is very helpful in making Discovery easy for processing, review and production. It allows me to easily handle most jobs individually with the option of offering services to assist on larger or more difficult cases.

Vorteile:

Some of the great advantages of using Lexbe include vast data types supported, multiple options for data processing and production, and a user friendly interface allowing for easy document review. Lexbe offers amazing customer support including training and monthly webinars as well as a very knowledgeable staff that goes out of the way to meet your firm's needs. They also offer great rates to be flexible with your firms storage needs and no additional charges for uploading and other common fees that you would incur if using a competitors platform.

Nachteile:

Depending on site traffic, data formats, and file sizes sometimes the data processing can be slightly time consuming for uploading collections or downloading productions. However, this is the case with any program and the Lexbe support experts are very helpful in moving the process along.

Firm go-to e-discovery platform.

Kommentare: Lexbe provides a solution to review and organize a large volume of documents, emails, reports, etc. in one central location. As a cloud-based platform, our firm is not restricted to our computers and can review case exhibits from virtually anywhere. This is particularly useful when someone is unable to be in the office but still needs to complete work. I appreciate using the briefcase exporting feature because I have a couple of attorneys who prefer not to review documents within the platform. With this feature, I can easily convert documents and deliver them more quickly than if I were to do a full production, especially when the documents are not yet ready for production.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is known for its professional and prompt services, making it the ideal choice for handling complex projects. The analysis tab provides different angles of a search that the attorney may have overlooked initially. Its numerous search and filtering options ensure that finding a document is nearly foolproof. Features like Co-Pilot have been invaluable for enhancing witness summaries and understanding information more effectively.

Nachteile:

However, the platform's lack of user-friendliness can be a drawback. This is something that I've noticed that some of our older attorneys are hesitant to use the system. Despite its many search and filter options, it can be challenging to locate a document, especially for new users who may feel overwhelmed by the multitude of choices. It would be helpful to be able to sort while in the reviewing part. I think it would be beneficial to have an easier way to save a filter where you can name it and have it saved globally through the system. For example, if there is a special search I like to use to help remove non-responsive materials, I would like to be able to use that same search in other cases. I believe it would be helpful for billing purposes to pay for the OpenAI through the Lexbe platform, especially since it is only charged whenever you use the Co-Pilot add-on. It would be great to figure out a way to charge it to that specific case. Also, I would like to know if I can be notified when things are added to a case as an administrator, so I can be more aware of when we are getting close to our monthly quota

Its Fine For Smaller Projects

Vorteile:

Keyword search is the best feature, especially for the projects we use Lexbe for.

Nachteile:

Not being able to open more than one document at a time limits its effectiveness.

Not your Everyday E-Discovery Platform

Kommentare: We enjoy the hands-on set up of the Lexbe platform. It is easy to use and navigate. The professional services team is always available and quick to respond and step in to assist when needed. There is also frequent training available.

Vorteile:

The ease of use. The ability to upload documents, review documents, and run production sets in-house. The ability to save complex searches either on a user or case level. The ability to see the history of review of a document.

Nachteile:

When crafting search terms and proximity search terms other e-discovery platforms syntax for the searches may not always be compatible with Lexbe.

Kommentare: I have had a great experience with Lexbe so far in uploading documents, reviewing and running document productions.

I wish there was more space to add comments when reviewing documents, but it is not a big problem.

Lexbe - Cost Efficient and Easy

Kommentare: I have used this platform 7-8 years and they have continuously worked to make improvements as technology advances. Their team is easy to work with and very knowledgeable in all things EDRM.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is very user friendly and intuitive. The pricing is hard to beat on the market.

Nachteile:

It is not very simple to perform complex searches/filtering.

Lexbe from a Litigation Paralegal's point of view

Kommentare: It has been great and the webinars and availability of the professional services team are excellent resources.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and the features aren't buried in the platform but accessible and easy to navigate.

Nachteile:

I would like to see added features for transcript summarization, transcript and audio/video synchronization (for trial exhibits) and chronology tools.

First Choice For Small Firms and E-Discovery Novices

Kommentare: Our law firm has limited experience in cases which involve e-discovery from large datasets. These often involve a smaller entity or even an individual taking on a large company. Lexbe has been helpful to us in data collection in responding to discovery and reviewing documents obtained in discovery. We have some experience with other online programs. We find that they are not as user friendly, and they are separate from the e-discovery vendor that consults and collects the data. This leads to a breakdown in support. The level of customer service at Lexbe is truly superior. Fast to respond. Explanations are understandable and advice is practical and easy to implement. We couldn't be more pleased.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is a user friendly but still very powerful e-discovery tool.

Nachteile:

I am hard pressed to find a drawback in Lexbe. I hope that it continues to find more widespread use because that will facilitate cooperation with other counsel.

Lexbe is an Easy to Use eDiscovery Platform

Kommentare: We've been using Lexbe for over a decade and it has improved with technology. Productions are very easy to run and document uploads are fast and simple. Pricing is great!

Vorteile:

They are constantly upgrading their platform to improve their product. It is easy to use and share with co-counsel. It is ADA compliant. Their service is phenomenal!!

Nachteile:

They don't often warn you before an upgrade so you may be in the middle of a big project and end up have to learn how to use the upgrade. (normally they have way to go back to the prior version).

Ideal for large volume

Kommentare: Overall, myself and my firm are are extremely happy using Lexbe. It has made document productions, deposition prep, and trial prep so much easier.

New User Struggling in Mastering Lexbe

Kommentare: I've used Logikull at my last firm and found Lexbe to be less user friendly. I believe it has to do with not getting enough hands-on training.

Vorteile:

Love the assistance provided by the Lexbe team to assist with deduping, Bate stamping, organizing, etc.

Nachteile:

I need more training as so that it would make being able to do the basics with the Lexbe platform.

Great platform

Kommentare: I've used many doc review platforms including Disco, Relativity, and Evergreen. Lexbe has been the most user friendly of all of them and allows my paralegal to get productions done and organized very quickly. I never have had a production issue when using Lexbe.

Vorteile:

Extremely easy to use and to customize -- all searches and organization can be done in house!

Nachteile:

Every once in a while I had trouble with a document image loading to perform a redaction, but the load just took a little time. Otherwise no issues.

Great Customer Service with Lexbe Subscription

Kommentare: I am the legal assistant and so, I am in charge of uploading the documents to the cases. I have the easiest of the jobs among the firm. Uploading the folders of documents was relatively easy. There were a few points of frustration and delays, but overall, I had no issues with Lexbe, and I really appreciated the customer service aspect of Lexbe as well.

Vorteile:

The assistance from the representatives at Lexbe. They are always checking in with us and making sure we are happy/satisfied. They are always around for questions. They respond very quickly.

Nachteile:

Lexbe is not altogether user friendly. It gets a little frustrating at times. It should be a little more simplified than what it is.

Make Lexbe Your eDiscovery Platform

Kommentare: I would highly recommend Lexbe to any law firm looking for an eDiscovery platform.

Vorteile:

Lexbe is super easy to learn and use, and is an incredible value. Layout and user interface is much more straight forward than other more costly platforms. You will find ways to use Lexbe's document processing capabilities for other document and communications analyses not necessarily related to discovery. The upload process is so quick and easy and the cost is so reasonable Lexbe becomes a tool you will use almost every day. Once you gain proficiency with Lexbe you will be surprised with how quickly and accurately you can respond to any case research question an attorney might have.

Nachteile:

I don't like paying for support calls but I understand it's necessary.

User interface

Kommentare: I would rate 5 stars for their customer support where they have designed personnel assigned. The client management, reporting and easy of deployment was also very well managed.

Vorteile:

The most likable feature was the product was super use friendly and how easy it was to integrate into our existing business platform. The case management, access controls and reporting was also top tier.

Nachteile:

Although this might be biased, I think their pricing could be more competitive with its rivals.
