No issues seen at my level till date. Celoxis should work more and more on the compatibility features

Kommentare: The new PPM has dramatically transformed the project delivery, making 4 tools redundant, bringing new visibility on the project portfolio, significantly improving the internal collaboration across 5 departments and accelerating the end-to-end delivery.

Vorteile:

All in one: all the same powerful functions as MS Project with the Project WBS & Gantt Chart, Agile task board with drag & drop, collaboration with the clients on issue register, colour-coded workload directly populated from the scheduling, simplicity yet sophisticated ways of entering time entries, cater for both fixed price and T&M, on the same project!

Nachteile:

Notifications are a bit messy, with duplicates and gaps at the same time. Not being able to paste from clipboard the image, i.e. you have to save it before. There used to be a limitation with setting up client as follower on issues, which was a bummer. Good news, the feature was released last week!

The customer support is fast and responsive.

Nachteile:

There are a lot of small bugs that go unnoticed until it's critical. An example would be that when you schedule an event on the work calendar like a Company Holiday, the event doesn't show up on the day that you scheduled the event for (i.e. Company Holiday scheduled for 12/23/2022, but the event is displayed on 12/22/2022 on the calendar) and this causes confusion for everyone.

Kommentare: I have a good experience with celoxis. Celoxis is phone friendly software I can easily access celoxis in my phone.which is the best part of celoxis.

Vorteile:

Celoxis is good for portfolio management and calendar view. It takes only few minutes for any kind of portfolio and project management. Celoxis make my work very easy and save lots of my company time. They provide best customer service to their users. Celoxis provide personalized solutions to all the users.

Nachteile:

Every software come with some problem like celoxis has also a little bugs. Celoxis recently introduced checklists feature which is marvellous.

Excellent product for small consulting business

Vorteile:

All in one! Project management, invoicing, contracts, finances. You can customize it to be used for all these functions.

Nachteile:

Once you delete something (except a project) it's gone forever. Hasn't been a big issue though, especially since we can recover deleted projects.

the Open a Ticket feature: - always respond really quickly - sometimes even implementing recommendations when asking in an open ticket

the implementation. the matching between workspaces + job roles + permissions is not easy. even though the workspaces are really interesting and usefull, it is kind of difficult to get the right configuration.

Consolidated Project management for Consulting and Solutions firm

Kommentare: It is very good, from my [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] perspective and PMO, it is fantastic to have the whole information of our projects online and with consolidated resources reports and the Gantt is very nice, much better than Microsoft Project.

Vorteile:

Easy of use of the Gantt and Work Load, even if some other things are not really UX friendly or intuitive...

Nachteile:

Sometimes is not clear how to perform some tasks, Customer service is very straight and I feel they do not listen to the customer needs on specific issues, then they reply very plain.

Ease of use for Portfolio Management

Kommentare: It really is a very good project and portfolio management tool without making life complicated, which is exactly our requirements. It does not take unnecessary amount of administration time out of your day and helps you manage and track your projects with ease.

Excellent application for managing small-medium size projects

Kommentare: Celoxis is an excellent tool alowing me as the project manager team leader to convey detailed or highlevel scope of a project or the entire project portfolio.

Vorteile:

excellent user interface, durable solution, endless customization alows you to create any build almots any View or analysis you wish to see. excellent, fast, agile service!

Nachteile:

out of the box integrations can be more suitable for the industry (such as: Salesforce, Jira integrations coverage).

Avid Fan

Kommentare: Great, I haven't see a product like it out there.

Vorteile:

The power and customization behind it - adding new data fields, customizing the implementation, they have thought of everything. I am almost spoiled by thinking things are so customized and wanting to control everything!

Nachteile:

I think the QB sync could be more robust to help align revenue in both places.

Celoxis is great

Kommentare: Customer Service is excellent-- they are super helpful and work with you to talk through solutions to your problems or workarounds until they deploy new features!

Vorteile:

Once you are trained, it is very easy to learn the rest of the software! It helps us stay organized and keep track of our projects across all teams.

Nachteile:

I wish the timesheet options were more customizable and that fewer clicks were needed to get things done sometimes.

Great Tool for P{project Collaboration

Kommentare: My Celoxis implementation is self hosted. That was a bit of a learning curve for me personally but the Tech support staff was pretty helpful in pointing me to the right solutions. Now that the system is up and running it is very stable. My principle issues were not with the core Celoxis application as much as the host system configuration such as installing SSL and positioning the system properly behind my firewall. It took cooperation among a number of vendors but I now have a robust application on a rock steady platform (Windows Server 2019) protected by a top-tier security system (SOPHOS). It was with the effort!

Vorteile:

Celoxis allows integration of planned work hours and resources with time card inputs to allow an integrated management solution that permits tracking of Planed vs. Actual labor hours and costs. Definitely a much tighter integration than I found in MS Project. However - and this is important to my clients - the ability to bidirectionally share data with Project is a significant plus as many of my clients rely on Project. Finally, I use Celoxis for multiple clients and the workspaces functionality allows me the ability to securely partition clients into their own environment thus permitting multiple clients to share the basic installation.

Nachteile:

There is a learning curve to climb - especially in the reporting function and I am still learning how to use the many features of the product. I would like to see more You Tube videos on how to perform advanced functions - especially with cost and resource reporting for users.

Switching over from Microsoft Project to Celoxis

Kommentare: Mostly positive - I wouldn't want to go back to MS Project. But some annoying cons as desribed above. Critical Path not working really hurts

Vorteile:

I felt Celoxis was quite easy to get started with - it certainly is simpler than other products such as MS Project which is a huge benefit to me since I personally found MS Project too complicated and I never used most of the functions. I can't think of anything I needed which MS Project could do that Celoxis cannot

Nachteile:

By far the biggest issue is that the Critical Path feature doesn't work properly. We've managed to get it working on a small number of occasions and then a simple change broke it. Using the Help Desk has not resolved this so we guess it just simply doesn't work well - never had any issues in MS Project. The Autosave feature and the 4-6s latency behind it meant it was unusable (every single change would cause it to be inoked). Turning it off solved the problem but then you are at risk of losing changes if you don't remember to save or your browser crashes (as happened to be once). Also, it seems almost impossible to reliably have 2 people make changes to the project at the same time without the risk of massive issues.

Top customer service that offers feature packed Project Management solution

Kommentare: We need an end and end Project management solution and we are very please that we found one in form of Celoxis. Celoxis implementation was very smooth and the team was quickly onboarded and have comfortably learned the new ways of working in the new PPM tool. The best part was that Celoxis team was really supportive and have provided the much needed support where ever we required one.

Vorteile:

I am really impressed with the customer service. The team is really responsive and support you with the best solution possible. The support during the implementation was crucial and it was offered throughout the implementation lifecycle without any extra cost. Moreover I also like the software as it is simple yet powerful enough to provide with end to end Project management solution.

Nachteile:

I would like to Celoxis to include more market standard feature in Project planning (Gantt plan). The current system doesn't allow you to revert back the changes, it is a crucial feature that comes in very handy in case if you are trialling a new plan or made an error by accident. The system also doesn't let you compare the baseline plan with the current plan.

Celoxis Flexibility brings our company into the next level!

Kommentare: In addition to its great project management feature, celoxis have a powerful flexibility on creating custom app where you can tweak custom formula and create a processes that will give amazing benefits on data management and very useful reports and tracker that help us track our on time delivery and improve our team work at same time by work collaboration. in 4-6 months of using celoxis and developing some custom apps, we've brought our overall on time delivery from 40% - 80% that results to successful projects and happy customer. By developing custom apps from our QA inspection registries, we've save a lot of time spend on doing reports, eliminate unnecessary meetings and manage our data effectively. In couple of weeks we're working to upgrade our account from cloud to on promise and we're very excited on the next breakthroughs we can achieve together with celoxis as our partner.

Vorteile:

In addition to its amazing project management feature, I love the flexibility that we can create a custom app and tweak the custom fields to automate formulas, processes and creates necessary report we need.

Nachteile:

Limitation on graph feature but I think that the capability is enough for our needs. However, we're looking forward if Celoxis can add more features that could help us get use the most of it.

Great Software for IT Projects

Kommentare: Overall, the product is stable and reliable. I only had one issue after an update a little over a year ago, where I had entered my time on my mobile device, and I had found that it wasn't there when I had logged onto my desktop version.

Vorteile:

The great part of this software is the ability to update information in the Gantt chart as needed. It also gives you accurate percentage of project tasks per user and accurate percentages in what has been completed against the project deadline, which is very useful in Technical Services.

Nachteile:

I still wish that once a task or project status is "completed", the timers would be deleted as well. In our company, we have many projects with many tasks, thus one can have multiple timers, and that adds up! It can take (waste) much time in deleting timers, so having the timers "go away" when a task is completed would be very useful.

Celoxis Review

Review- Celoxis

Kommentare: My overall experience has been good, the software meets my needs as a project manager.

Vorteile:

The reporting functions are good and very flexible, extremely easy to use and create new reports. I like the ease of creating a project, adding tasks and moving them into different areas of the project - extremely simple and straight forward. Copying from other projects function is very easy to use.

Nachteile:

I wish there was an option to remove resources when copying over project tasks. If I don't have the same resources on my new project this is time consuming to remove each one. Still confused about how CPI is calculated in regards to the time billed to each task vs. overall budget. This may be a training issue for myself.

Best portfolio management solution on the market by far

Vorteile:

The capability to use it for my project manager and at the executive level (portfolio). The quality of the dashboard and large scope of features

Nachteile:

Inflexibility about couple of feature/setup, not matching process and forcing some workaround regularly.

Am loving Celoxis

Kommentare: Have had a very positive experience with Celoxis although I am not too sure the notification feature works correctly. I cannot rely on it so I must go in and check to ensure nothing has changed. Also we customized one of the screens and needed to use the notification feature, but are unable to do so. Other than that - this tool is AMAZING!!

Vorteile:

Easily locate what you are looking for. Easily identify estimated/actual hours...I am not a project manager and do not use it to its fullest, but what I do use, I find it very user friendly and quite frankly not sure how we managed without Celoxis.

Nachteile:

As previously mentioned, the notification features does not work as it should

There's no free trial and no features for billing or invoicing but other than that, it's great!
