Kommentare: Bitdefender is a great tool that gives us confidence that our data is safe when our partners browse the internet and download large databases to work with. Its price is low compared to the benefits it provides.
I really recommend this product especially for SMEs and personal use.

Vorteile:

The most valuable features that our team like are those related to the anonymous and safe browsing. Bitdefender is also easy to use and automatically reduce its resources usage when you are working.

Nachteile:

I would really like this product was faster when analyze our systems. Usually it can take until 9 hours and this process has a great impact in our resources performance.

Simplified, not simple security tool

Kommentare: Very easy to get running with very little issues. I don't actually know how much it's doing, but my business has yet to have any attacks!

Vorteile:

It's easy to get going, but also has the nitty gritty depth and controls an admin wants. I wasn't that versed in IT security software, but when we switched it was very easy to purchase, distribute, and get going. It's almost set it and forget it after that if you don't make any changes.

Nachteile:

There are some features that get disabled at different tiers that seem arbitrary or were available and no longer are at the low tier. When this happens, the clients think they should still have the feature and start throwing security risk messages.

Bitdefender GravityZone a great protection

Vorteile:

Bitdefender GravityZone is a truly comprehensive protection solution for small businesses.

Nachteile:

Bitdefender GravityZone the price is a bit high for small businesses.

A great endpoint security solution but not easy to manage

Kommentare: Overall it was positive, because it is a powerful and effective endpoint security solution, however, as an IT Engineer it was hard to manage and maintain.

Vorteile:

I like how effective it is against threats of various natures. It is without a doubt a powerful solution for any company, big or small.

Nachteile:

It is not easy to manage. We had bitdefender management platform installed inside our on-prem infrastructure, and while it worked great, managing endpoints, creating and managing policies is a complex endeavour and not intuitive at all. Also, it may be trivial to some, but scheduled scanning while active tends to use quite a chunk of system resources slowing down the computer significatly during active operations.

Affordable Business Security perfect for SMBs

Kommentare: This was my first foray into setting up a SMB Internet Security program, and as such there was a pretty steep learning curve for me to figure out what the do's and don'ts of setup are. However, once it was set up it very much takes care of itself with minimal interaction from me. I occasionally have to whitelist certain things, or adjust a couple of settings here and there, but for the most part we've been running it for a little over three years with no incidents.

Vorteile:

Once it is set up, GravityZone takes a very hands-off approach to Internet Security. It was easy to install and it updates regularly without having to manually push updates. It is a large program, but it doesn't use a ton of system resources, which is great because some of our hardware is older.

Nachteile:

Initial setup was a bit complicated. I had to contact them a few times in order to get all my bearings with the program.

Good security with one package

Vorteile:

Easy to set up for small, medium or big teams. Decent dashboard for team management. Cost effective subscription plans.

Nachteile:

With Bitdefender, it is quite easy to mix multiple subscriptions in the reports and UI. For example personal and work subscriptions can be easily mixed up.

Uou don't loose speed using this antivirus

Kommentare: We are happy and feel decure usong this software.

Vorteile:

Easy installing, easy to setup and it doesn't make you loose any speed.

Nachteile:

We like it all. So there is nothing to complain about.

Amazing computer protection

Kommentare: We've been using Bitdefender in our mixed-platform offices for several years, and in that time we have not had a data breach or computer infection. Bitdefender has stopped several malware programs before they became an issue.

Vorteile:

It updates automatically and scans devices on a schedule, so the end users don't have to think about protection. It's very effective at finding new threats.

Nachteile:

It can be a little confusing to deploy if you have several end users.

Great easy to use product with strong management and reporting

Kommentare: Overall a great platform that ticks all the boxes with strong features.

Vorteile:

The security advice and automated remediation. The isolation and investigation features are great.

Nachteile:

Lack of support for mobike devices within platform.

Good protection, but slow response on software bugs

Kommentare: Besides the two major bugs I've encountered, my experience has been good in the 5 years I've been using this software. The Android app is solid and quite fast, and support is attentive.

Vorteile:

Generally speaking, the software is weel designed and with many normal features. It's not pricey and you will be able to use it across multiple Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices.

Nachteile:

When they release a version with a bug, they take forever to fix it. In 2020 a bug on the Mac version made the software freeze and made the Mac slower. There were active threads on the companies' forums, and it took them over 3 months to fix this issue. And in 2021, a bug automatically boots the VPN app on Mac, even though they have the option to turn this off. This bug was reported at least in early February 2021, the company acknowledge the issue and in mid-September 2021 they haven't been able to fix this simple issue. Also, the VPN app is a paid feature, which would be better to include in the normal subscription package. If not, it would be better to leave this app away of the offering, and instead, make it an optional download.

Excellent AV Software

Kommentare: Our experience is that since switching to their software, we've had minimal infections while reducing crypto virus/ransomware to zero.

Vorteile:

It's detection rate with minimal false positives. The sandbox analyzer is a lifesaver too. Deployment was pretty straightforward as well.

Nachteile:

It's a little resource intensive. We've had numerous complaints about it affecting PC performance from users.

Perfect protection for corporate environments

Vorteile:

As an user, I feel it's not intrusive, doesn't break your workflow and does it's job.

Nachteile:

It doesn't always update by itself, sometimes I have to manually trigger updates. I am not sure if it's a configuration or software problem.

Bitfender - Good Value in its space

Vorteile:

The detection rate and response is top notch. No real problems. I wish the notifications and detection notification... and licensing notifications were a little more reliable.

Nachteile:

The ability to deploy remotely would be awesome...

Great Software

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

I cant find nothing so far. For last two years i didnt have any problems

Bitdefender is the best security progeam

Vorteile:

Bitdefender works with amazing ease on the network and individual systems. It was simple to install and caused no issues. Since installing has helped with keeping employees on point for what they are supposed to do while at work and has protected the system and network from being hacked and various viruses and malware from being installed.

Nachteile:

There isnt anything that I do not like about this software.

A reliable antivirus

Kommentare: Experience was good overall great piece of software, the only super frustrating part was the installation after after having had installed a trial version of Bitdefender antivirus.

Vorteile:

- It does not dramatically slow your system when performing updates. - it comes with VPN. - It has the anti ransomware. - The interface is really easy to use. - It detects viruses and gives you options on what to do with it. - The password wallet is awesome you have all sorts of options in it to access your accounts with ease and security. - You get 3 computers coverage with one payment or you can also use it on your phone. - The safe pay feature is great for transactions and does not interfere with other SSL sites.

Nachteile:

- The initial set up is confusing, especially if you used a trial version and you signed up with an email address. - So you have to complete uninstall the trial version and install the paid version.

Bitdefender - Best Security

Kommentare: Overall this is good solution for personal / home use. if you are planning to install inside a corporate environment, you will face some difficulties while configuring the application because you have to do big application whitelisting process, because the Bitdefender application monitoring process is very advanced.

Vorteile:

As a home user I mostly like the detection engine of the virous guard, it detects all threats before they active and also this is not a very heavy virous guard. as a personal user all the features are in Bitdefender is very helpful to me for protect my computer from various kind of attacks. the firewall, email threat protection and application monitoring is very advanced.

Nachteile:

As a home user The installation process is bit difficult, first have to install it as a trial version and then you have to login to the app using registered account, and you have to add license to the web portal, It's bit difficult.

Well protected

Vorteile:

the GravityZone antivirus solution from bitdefender is currently one of the best solutions on the market. updating to the latest incidents / exploits is very timely and provides reliable virus detection. The suite also brings numerous features (application control, firewall, USB device management, web threat detection, and more). In our experience, the bitdefender solution works quickly and reliably. Furthermore, the very competent support can be mentioned.

Nachteile:

for the work with the management console some training or better a briefing/training on the part of bitdefnder is recommended. the structure and the functionality is not self-explanatory in some places

High quality Antivirus and Endpoint Protection

Kommentare: Very efficient, low performance impact, provides both signature and heuristic detections, simplified management and central console, easy to deploy en masse.

Vorteile:

Ease of deployment, manageability, centralized console, easily scales to thousands of devices, very robust classic antivirus and signature-based detections, low rate of false positives

Nachteile:

Does not fully protect against 0-day and next-gen threats as comprehensively as a true next-gen EDR product

Runs without Issue - Could Provide Better Controls

Vorteile:

BitDefender does a great job at its core purpose: keeping my network safe from viruses and malware. It runs in the background and doesn't hog my CPU or memory like McAfee and Kaspersky has done in the past. I've been pleased with the GravityZone web interface and deployment options as well; and I really like the quickview dashboard giving me a birds-eye view of my current network status.

Nachteile:

The individual use experience even for power users is a bit limited. While the product runs on my machine, I don't feel like I can do much more with is other than update the definitions or run a full scan. It is difficult to mark items as safe or to track what traffic is blocked in real-time.

Best Security Solution for the Computers

Kommentare: Overall when you need a reliable solution for your computer Bitdefender come in first place.

Vorteile:

When it comes to security Bitdefender offers good virus protection to your computer. It has built in firewall, web protection, email protection, ransom ware protection and etc. All these services are getting updates daily. So you can keep your trust on BitDefender without any doubt. Its has very nice user interface which can be easily understand.

Nachteile:

Therr isn't much cons to say anyway some times it uses more resources of running the software. However all that is for maintaining the system security.

The best, least intrusive protection

Vorteile:

Bitdefender has very effective and comprehensive protection with a lot of appropriate automation, so that's the basic need, but what I like most about this software is that it is not intrusive, never slows me down or makes itself known except when there's a problem. Very well designed.

Nachteile:

Compared with other software, I can't think of what I like least. It does its job well, secures the machines and any associated devices, and keeps itself well updated. No complaints, sorry!

A great antivirus and security package

Kommentare: Great overall security suite.

Vorteile:

This suite has helped me for years to protect my PCs and mobile devices. It doesn't slow down the computer and detects and protects the computer very well. Frequent updates are provided and there are many additional features to protect and optimize your computer.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the profile popups are a little annoying but it is also good to know that it is protecting you.

Extra protection on a Mac

Vorteile:

We use this as additional protection on our Macs. It's easy to setup and deploy, running without interfering with anything else.

Nachteile:

We were using Acronis for a time which also included this solution but when we switched it was a bit of a hassle to remove and reinstall on a Mac but that's more to do with how a Mac works.

Good for Security

Kommentare: My overall experience with Bitdefender GravityZone has been good so far, and I definitely recommend it.

Vorteile:

Bitdefender GravityZone offers some nice features like: The Apps Blacklist, Malware detection, system analysis, etc. All these combined with the nice user-interface make this software a pretty decent one.

Nachteile:

There is not a lot I don't like about Bitdefender GravityZone, but their prices are a bit high. It would be nice to see a slight reduction in the prices. Other than that, I think initial installation and setup should be made easier on the user.
