Suntell Exceeded our Expectations

Kommentare: Makes it so easy for audits, for loan officers who are out of the office and just everyone in general. It's the only reason we are able to have a super-efficient centralized processing center. We love this program and have never regretted the purchase or implementation of it. Always finding additional ways to use it for many other things to scan other than loan documentation.

Vorteile:

Easy to implement, excellent customer support, ease of maneuvering in the program - makes it simple to train new employees. Very logical programming and super flexible in the different manners items can be viewed. When scanning documents, the ability to manipulate the document by rotation, orientation, etc. is fantastic.

Nachteile:

Audit Report - when I need to find out who scanned something, it's a real bugger to try and figure with the search parameters in this part of the program. That's my only con for this program.

Comprehensive loan software

Vorteile:

Square 1 is a solid loan software that’s easy to implement and offers solid functionality for robust users. It has a really nice design that’s user friendly and the customer support is helpful. Overall good software for loan management.

Nachteile:

The reporting and audit functions are somewhat limited in some areas. Updates to those functions would help immensely.

We have been on this software for 8 years and it suits our financial institution well.

Kommentare: The absolute best "pro" of suntell is the customer service staff. I've worked with many customer service staff and these guys are the best.
Doc imaging would be my favorite part of Suntell. We are completely imaged and have rave reviews from our external auditors, loan review and OCC examiners on the ease of use of the imaging system........WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO A PAPER FILE!
Other pro's are the letter/envelop feature, doc tracking feature and loan input/loan presentation feature.
The "CON" that tops my list is enhancements. Submitted enhancements are slow to get accepted and changed (if they ever get changed). Suntell operates on a small staff so sometimes getting things updated, enhanced or changed is a timely process.
Another con is the Credit Analysis feature. It does not suit our credit analysts so we do many calculations outside of Suntell and copy/paste it into the analysis/presentation piece.
In closing, it will take an extrodinary software system to convince me to switch from Suntell!

Our organization has been using Square 1 Credit Suite for the past five and a half years.

Kommentare: We primarily utilize the Loan Management System for Credit Analysis, Loan Presentation, and Documentation Tracking. We also use Suntell Document Imaging. The initial and ongoing training is excellent, as is the ongoing customer support.
The financial statement spreading component is not as robust as other systems I have used, but serves our portfolio needs. In the past, when we, as the user, have reported a limitation with the LMS, Suntell has addressed that issue within a future software upgrade.

We have been on this software for more than 10 years now. We use multiple areas of system.

Kommentare: We use Suntell for doc imaging, doc tracking, credit analysis, loan presentation, collections and workout plans. It is very nice for generating letters requesting items needed from customers as you can do them in a big batch. The system also keeps a copy of the letter on file. Love the templates for letters also. Customer service and the ticket portal are always helpful when we have questions. We do not use it for commercial scoring as we came up with our own spreadsheet that scores a company against the industry standards which Suntell didn't do.

Great All-In-One solution for origination and loan maintenance

Kommentare: Excellent staff & support, never waited for more than a few hrs to have even simple questions answered. Interfaces & integrates perfectly with our core system and with our loan doc software-seamless flow between the three
Somewhat dated GUI, but functionality more than makes up for the cosmetic feel of the software
Continuous (usually quarterly) updates that provide well placed enhancements, and programmers are open to discuss and possibly implement requests
Great system so far, we've been pleased these past 16 months

Square 1 Credit Suite provides robust functionality for managing our commercial loan portfolio.

Kommentare: Credit Analysis and Loan Presentation have helped us improve consistency and uniformity in our loan presentations. The tickler system in Documentation Tracking has helped us to reduce documentation exceptions, and Document Imaging has allowed us to move away from paper files. We are beginning to use Suntell's reporting function for more and more of our portfolio reporting. Suntell does a great job of working with constructive feedback to try to continually improve their product.

Suntell is an important piece of our success.

Kommentare: Suntell adds efficiencies and standardization to our processes. The customer service that Suntell provides stands out above the rest. We use Credit Analysis, Loan Presentation, Doc Tracking, Doc Imaging, Reports as well as several other features of the system. Suntell is easy to use and easy to configure. We have had very positive feedback from our auditors and examiners. In fact, our examiners have recommended Suntell to other financial institutions.

Comprehensive loan management system and much more!

Kommentare: Our organization was looking for a comprehensive loan management system when we switched to Suntell, and what we got was that and so much more! It has integration with our core, integration with our loan document preparation software, credit analysis, loan presentations, loan exceptions tracking, reporting, document imaging, and much more. Training is robust and customer support is easy to reach, quick to respond and has been with us all the way!

Nachteile:

Some calculation needs to be done outside of Suntell, because the lack of them in the Credit Analysis Module, plus the absences of all of the RMA Ratios per NAICS ; therefore no comparative comments to RMA metrics can be made in certain cases.

Our experience has been very good. The software has allowed us to streamline our loan process.

Kommentare: The scanning and documentation sections are very good. Both are user friendly and save time compared to a paper file or our Core tickler system. The loan management area is good but improvement could be made to the layout and functionality. A user defined display of a customer's loan portfolio would be amazing and would let us control which fields we want displayed. The credit analysis section needs the most help but with the develop under way on this section, we will wait in anticipation of the much needed new look!

Easy to use, interfaces well with other products, great customer service

Kommentare: We have been Suntell customers for many years. We use most all of its features and find them to be efficient and user friendly. The company listens when suggestions are made. I would refer them to anyone who asked.

Great support which is critical!

Vorteile:

Strong support with ongoing training is critical for a successful banking product.

Nachteile:

It's not as widely used as some other similar products which is always scary for bankers.
