Great Property Management Software

Kommentare: Overall the software is fantastic and keeps track of your properties and financial statements.

Vorteile:

The software is very intuitive. Many great features for pulling owner reports, tenant ledgers and expense reports.

Nachteile:

Lacks accessibility features such as changing font size or overall UI experience which is very dated.

A Propety Management Software Superstar

Kommentare: Excellent, this product meets the needs of all the different types of property management we do without having to utilize several platforms. Managing several different types of property with the same software is a huge timesaver for us.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, functionality, tech support, customization, integration partners.

Nachteile:

Some features don't seem to close the circle and could be taken one step further to make the process complete

functional but basic.

Kommentare: very basic. it worked but lacked the frills that our new software has.

Vorteile:

we were using the server based option and it seemed old and outdated.

Nachteile:

maybe it was just how the bosses had it set up but not all users could get in at once.

Best. Property Management. Software. Ever.

Kommentare: Rent Manager is the heart of my business. I use them every day, as do my residents.

Vorteile:

Absolute best property management software. Ease of use, deep understanding of the industry, great customer support

Nachteile:

Some categories can be brittle. For example, only one type of late fee can be recognized.

Great Software - Highly Recommend

Kommentare: I just think it is a great software for our housing market and leasing we do.

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to find tenants and their information as well as send emails to all tenants.

Nachteile:

There is not much I do not like able rent manager.

Best customer service

Kommentare: Great product for my properties. I have called aren’t Manager support many times over the last 5 years and I have always had my issues resolved.

Vorteile:

It’s easy to use but the customer support is absolutely the best. Always knowledgeable and very clear and concise when they show you how to solve your issue.

Nachteile:

I did have to wait for 15 minutes on hold.

Best Option!

Kommentare: Amazing System & Software to keep track on everything in a property management office.

Vorteile:

All kind of Reports, from rent rolls, profit & loss, to balance sheets, and collections.

Nachteile:

Can't complain at all, it covers almost everything you need.

Customize Rent Manager for YOUR USE!

Kommentare: RM has provided a sound product and continues to grow and change each year, while also keeping the customization for each customer. I like that my setup is for ME and someone else change tweek stuff to make it how they need. I have used this software for 13 years and have only had a few issues, which were mainly resolved by the wonderful/knowledgeable RM support staff. When in doubt of something new, I utilize the in-software help or call RM support and get an answer to my delimma promptly.

Vorteile:

I like that you can customize to your specific needs in almost everything you do & setup in RM, it's not just "canned software" - I can make it my own!

Nachteile:

Lacking in the AP/AR areas for credits - can't spread to all properties, usually a credit is only applied to 1 property and for something that applies to ALL properties (i.e. worker's comp), I cannot spread a credit to everyone.

Rent Manager Great Product

Kommentare: Overall it is a great product I just wish I knew more about rent manager software and what it can do for me to be able to optimize it more.

Vorteile:

I love customer service and am willing to solve any issue.

Nachteile:

There are no readily available modules on how to do a meter read or adjustment. I feel that mini videos or being able to pull a quick reference sheet on how to do simple things.

Rent Manager - ease of use

Kommentare: I was blown away at how easy it was to convert our tenant data from 2 legacy systems and get Rent Manager up and running. It took less than 1 month where at another company I worked at, they would still be selecting the Project Management team to manage the implementation.

Vorteile:

Very easy to implement, tons of How-to videos, easy to use, intuitive, flexible, and field personal found it easy to use and helpful to their job.

Nachteile:

Nothing material comes to mind, however, I if I could wish for anything, I would like to have a tightly integrated Treasury/Banking functionality that would integrate with many banks and automatically download bank statement activity into the Bank Recs and automatically clear outstanding checks.

Great Program

Kommentare: Very happy with customer service and all of the included available options within the program.

Vorteile:

I like being able to pay an annual fee and not per seat or per door. Customer Service is AMAZING.

Nachteile:

There are some glitchy areas, but not anything that's close to a deal breaker.

Rent Manager...please get us a payroll feature

Kommentare: I am a QB user and I was skeptical about using RM, but I love the ease of the software....just get the payroll feature, please!

Vorteile:

I appreciate the help feature as well as the remote access when I need help.

Nachteile:

I would love for the software to include a payroll feature

Great Training

Kommentare: I had to take over 2 companies that have rental units and it was so simple to input the properties, renters, etc once I attended the Rent University and did my training. The Trainers were so easy to follow and made the experience great!

Vorteile:

Very easy to learn and the teachers are so easy to follow and helpful!

Nachteile:

There is nothing I don't like, The software is very easy to use

20 Years with Rent Manager software~Love it

Kommentare: I've been using Rent Manager for 20 years when they were transitioning out of DOS into Windows. I would say we have "evolved" together. So many changes in technology over the years. And RM has taken advantage of those advances and incorporated them into their software. I find new efficiencies everyday utilizing the automated postings, report batches, payment postings and more. Letter templates with scripting makes notices to tenants so easy!

Vorteile:

The company is continually improving the software to accomplish anything and everything property management needs for residential and commercial properties. Electronic rent payments in and electronic bill payments out.

Nachteile:

I can't really think of anything. If I run into a problem I call customer support and they help me through it. They are experts in their area of the software.

Super User Friendly!

Vorteile:

it is so user friendly and customizable. it is also easy to correct mistakes. with other softwares, my new employees were so scared to do anything because a mistake would mess up reports and they would have to reach out to someone in upper management to fix. the support teams are also always really great to work with.

Nachteile:

the only thing i am not a huge fan of with rent manager is the maintenance set up for turns and things.

Rent Manager - Key for Success

Kommentare: Rent Manager is a fantastic product. It has everything we need and more, and for a price that allows us to keep prices fair for our owners and tenants. Rent Manager is dynamic, always growing and willing to accept feedback.

Vorteile:

Rent manager is a clean and easy to use database. Highly customizable for both your role and use preferences.

Nachteile:

This is the hardest part to review. I would say that sometimes it is difficult to figure out which UDFs to include to pull a report successfully when creating a new one, but trial and error is expected in this process.

Highly recommend Rent Manager from 1 to 1 million properties.

Kommentare: We use Rent Manager to manage over 1,000 rental properties nationwide and we couldn't do it alone.

Vorteile:

Rent Manager helps us manage all the rentals and really makes our jobs easy.

Nachteile:

We have absolutely no complaints at all about Rent Manager.

Rent Manager Rocks!

Kommentare: Since we have been using this product, we have been more than satisfied. If we do run into a problem that we personally can not solve, the Rent Manager agents have always been exceptional in their service to us, as well as, friendly, non-judgmental and get the issue taken care of quickly. Can't say enough about the RM staff!

Vorteile:

Once you learn the program you can go from one topic to the other with ease and can be assured it will be efficient.

Nachteile:

There really are no complaints with this program. I would recommend it highly.

Great Software - Meets All Our Needs

Kommentare: We have been using the software for close to 10 years and have not thought about switching products. There are even facets of the software that we do not use and just not changed how we do business to use them. Happy & content to stay with the product that has served us well. We have grown significantly in this same time frame and the product still works great!

Vorteile:

We are easily able to track everything we need within the software. There is no need for supplemental software.

Nachteile:

Every once in a while, despite all the bells and whistles this software has to offer, we run into something we would like to report on or see and we are told that it is a suggestion but not implemented as of now. That has only happened on rare occasions and not recently.

Does almost everything you could want it to...

Kommentare: Great experience overall. Michael Cobb was a fantastic implementation specialist. I had a lot of unique problems that he helped me figured out. He was always prepared for the next call. His services alone made Rent Manager worth the price.

Vorteile:

Has all the accounting features you could want. You can even take care of accounting for management companies by setting up an additional "property." The integration of Zego's ePay feature automatically accounts for online payments, drastically reducing the time it would normally take to manually deposit checks in the bank and "deposit" them in Rent Manager.

Nachteile:

We own a campground with MTM tenants who all show up on different days of the month, staying for various lengths of time. This software will only post recurring charges once a month, insteading of posting each charge on the day it's due. Likewise, it would be a nightmare to set up late fees and Accounts Receivable automations based on different due days; you would need a separate automation for every day of the month for each task. To circumvent this problem, we have to adjust all of the tenants to the same rent due date and prorate rent at both move-in and move-out. Unique situation that probably wont apply to most customers, but turned out to be a headache for me.

That tenants cannot sign renewals on the app.

Loyal Customer Since 2009!

Kommentare: I have used them since I 6 months after I started my firm. I've been with them since 2009.

Vorteile:

I like that Rent Manager is constantly improving what they offer in their software. Their tech support is very good. I like the way the reports read, very consumer friendly.

Nachteile:

Sometimes they are so innovative they change things too fast for me.

Great Property Management software with excellent customer service.

Vorteile:

RM is incredibly complex, which means that there's always going to be some new functionality that you can discover, and some new tool that you can use. The option for addons is also incredibly useful and makes RM practically limitless in scope when it comes to property management software. Also, RM's customer service is absolutely wonderful, and very knowledgeable. I often spend just a few seconds on hold for an answer, and at most a few minutes, depending on the time of day.

Nachteile:

Though the user interface is a bit intimidating, it's all there for a reason. You learn to get used to it and you begin to understand why everything is set up as it is.
