It takes a few tries to be able to implement something new- I am not good with 'computer language' so I have trouble finding the right areas on my computer to transfer files to.

Kommentare: Whenever we have had software issues, we are able to call EZ Bis and someone is always able to fix the problem. The software is always being upgraded and improved.

Vorteile:

The appointment book is great! I have multiple providers in the office so each provider can look at their patient appointments or view the entire clinic schedule. EZ Bis is always upgrading and making improvements and adding new features. Now our patients can communicate directly via text with the front desk appointment book. We are able to run hundreds of different reports.

Nachteile:

I do not use the ERH module, but I believe it has had multiple improvements over the years.

You are correct to say our EHR program has come a long way from 17 yrs ago when you first tried it out. Outstanding always solve my problems on the first call patiently.

Nachteile:

It times out too fast. We and support have dealt with it but I still must repeatedly sign in all day even if left 5-7 minutes. It’s a drag signing in 20 times a day.

Could be a lot better

Kommentare: It's okay. I'm not about to rave to a colleague about how awesome this software is because there is a lot of room for improvement. It looks like you have everything you might need but I wonder if the speed and functionality of the software is affected by how much stuff you have in it. I would love to drop off a lot of things if I could get it to run faster.

I like that it has access to the ICD-10 codes.

Nachteile:

1. It's too slow!!! - I sit there and click a tab and wait and watch the blue circle spin while it loads up. I had hoped to have a software that I could use in real time while a patient is in front of me but the process is too slow and cumbersome to do that so I have to write my notes later on which is not ideal. 2. There's too much- The SOAP notes program has so many features that I don't use. Maybe they are good in a super large office but not ours. I would estimate that I don't use about 60-70% of the features. Mostly because the software takes too long. 3. It's not portable- I had hoped to have a program that I could take with me from room to room so that I could do the notes in real time on a tablet or something like that. Unfortunately this isn't the case. 4. Training- I was not impressed with the in-person training session. Much of what I do on this product, I feel that I had to learn myself.

Dr. V, it sounds like something is not right. The software should not be sluggish as you describe. The performance is excellent for our other users. Also, it is definitely possible to have the mobility that you are looking for. Please give us a call so that we can determine what is causing the slowness and to show you how to make EZBIS mobile.

Great Product

Kommentare: I have had EZBIS for over 5 years and it is better than any other software that I have tried. Their customer service is also the best I have dealt with anywhere.

Vorteile:

I love how customizable everything is! You can create macros for just about every situation.

Nachteile:

It gets tricky to double book patients, but not impossible.

EZBis has it all

Kommentare: Overall, EZBis is a very easy platform to learn, implement, and use. I have used it before in years past and just purchased the entire platform late in 2020, and I am still learning all the features. It has already begun to save me time and energy, and I know it will provide more of that the more I learn all the features. Overall, I could not be more pleased.

Vorteile:

I love every feature of the EZBis software. The notes are easy and have every feature needed to keep accurate daily SOAP notes. I have used many software packages in the past, including PracticeSuite, ChiroTouch and many others. EZBis has the features that I enjoyed the most, and they keep upgrading and innovating via client suggestions. There are many features I still have yet to figure out, but the tutorials, manuals and trainings are extremely helpful.

Nachteile:

The only feature I would like to see, since I know documentation necessity very well, it the ability for the EHR to have a more easily customizable combination use box for choices when writing your SOAP notes. Otherwise, I have no cons to the platform at all.

EZSIS great Chiropractic software, great support and easy to use!

Kommentare: We have been with EZBIS for over 20 years I believe and any time we had issues, they were resolved quickly. Again, I love the fact the software is easy to use and train staff on.

Vorteile:

Did pretty much everything we needed and was easy to train new staff on.

Nachteile:

Our office does dictation soap notes and it was challenging for the doctor at times to work within the format, but ultimately it does and that is what counts.

I don't have to call often, but when I do have questions the support team is always fast, friendly and very helpful.

Nachteile:

I wish the extra modules were not so expensive to upgrade to. And I do wish they still did in person training seminars.

EZ Bis Review

Kommentare: It has overall been a good experience. When we first started using EZ Bis it would have been very helpful to have been told to get both Front Desk and Collection Desk modules at the very beginning. Have to change to OPEN ITEM accounts a couple of years later when we added Collection Desk was a bit complicated, especially reconciling the old insurance claim information.

Vorteile:

Being able to call and speak directly to customer support is extremely helpful!

Nachteile:

When using the Front Desk or Collection Desk modules, it would be very helpful when exiting from a patient's account and searching for another patient with the Select Patient search window, that it would go DIRECTLY back to the same letter of the last name of that previous patient. Example if the last name begins with S, when exiting that patient's account, the window should go directly back to the names that begin with S. This especially occurs when reviewing ERAs because they are listed alphabetically.

Thank you for the review Dr. O, we appreciate your business. Your lack of knowledge concerning certain modules is a fair complaint. Our sales team could have done a better job to educate you on the various modules and how they work hand in hand. However, since your purchase of the software over 10 yrs ago we have created new "packages" to include particular modules to help in these areas mentioned. We also have "a la carte" pricing as well for those clinics that wish to build as they go.

EZBIS now and in the future

Vorteile:

I believe customer service is the number one thing I value the most regarding EZBIS. We are currently working with EZBIS to implement our office soap notes electronically into the patients account within the EZBIS program so that we will be able to send them with electronic billing. EZBIS is open to new ideas and allows our office to grow and improve with the program.

Nachteile:

I would like to see some improvements under the conditions tab. When I enter an updated diagnosis that is dated, I would like for it to automatically be applied to the patients date of service and each procedure as it relates to the corresponding date of diagnosis. As the program operates now I have to manually add the updated diagnosis to each procedure from the date of the diagnosis to present.

Good value for the money

It allows me to automate most tasks. Scheduling, Accounting, and Report functions work well.

Nachteile:

Report writing is "canned" software impression. I was able to customize features to the report that worked out well.

Hi John, thank you for your review. In today's world, insurance companies expect doctors to be using electronic health records systems, creating computer-generated notes. However, there are many ways in EZBIS that you can change the grammar and phrasing of the notes to match your own writing style, including the ability to dictate the notes in your own words.

Kommentare: EZBIS is a wonderful system and its easy to use. From scheduling appointments and billing insurance, it is easy to use all around. The system generator reports are so helpful when you need something specific and the Tech team is phenomenal.

Vorteile:

We have used EZBIS for over 20 years. Scheduling for patients and posting payments is fast and simple. The new text system that allows you to text back and forth with patients is awesome. The patients don't always have time to call to reschedule an appointment, so just sending a quick text makes it easier for everyone.

Nachteile:

We are still learning how to use the patient portal for emailing statements and other documents. I think it's a great idea, we just need some more practice with it. Over all, I think all the aspects of EZBIS are thorough and very convenient for a practice of our size.

the ease of working within the program.

Nachteile:

When printing billing statements a feature that would help is to be able to sort out certain patients, or a certain price range that we don't want to print out. We have an issue that the program shuts down ALOT every single day, it becomes cumbersome to log in every few minutes, especially when we have a patient in front of us.

Thanks for the suggestions on statement printing, You may not know about all of the options for filtering patients who receive statements, such as sending to specific account categories or omitting statements for patients with a zero or credit balance. We will add your ideas to our enhancement list however. You may also consider sending electronic statements to save yourself time and money. Regarding the shutdowns of the software, this is extremely uncommon and sounds like WIFI or an internet related issue on the clinics side. Without details I can only guess. Give us a call so we can help you troubleshoot.

Kommentare: We use the appointment system that send reminders to the patients via there cell phone. This has helped with out retention and patient compliance.

Vorteile:

I purchased Ezbis years ago and this is one of the Software programs offered to the Chiropractic Profession that has been able to adapt and grow with the many changes that our industry has to comply with government regulations. e.g. Hippa Soap Notes, and Electronic Billing to name a few.

Nachteile:

As with any program, there is always room for improvements. Ezbis has been always open to suggestions that make the program more adaptable.

Through the years, EZBis has kept up with the newest aspects of reporting and has made it easier to maintain accurate patient records. We have been able to do away with all paper files while utilizing EZBis' software.

Kommentare: Overall, there is nothing major wrong with the system. There were just enough small oddities that made me not like it. I will pursue other options.

They do cover all of the bases and have been in the Chiropractic business for a long time. I do like that you have the option of be a cloud or a server base. It is a big plus for those that are looking to switch to the cloud and have the software already. Front desk features and tools are easy to pick and train.

Nachteile:

Besides one section of the EHR function the system is very dated. It looks old. The reports take some getting used to and they are not as intuitive as I was originally led to believe. The coding was not has helpful as I was hoping. I have used systems that remember modifiers and unique situations and help you code appropriately... I couldn't get this to do the same. An odd thing... I was required to change the resolution on by screen for the program to work appropriately which caused my other programs to look weird.

The Demo program, which you tested, does not have these capabilities however. When particular reports are missing information, our unique generator can provide anything you are needing. Also, it is hard to understand what you might be referring to regarding coding. EZBIS is customizable. We have templates to get you started but ultimately, with our trainer or our 5 star support team, you are shown how to customize the system to help your day flow smoothly. EZBIS appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, personalized texts, billing, account management and practice management through its extensive reporting is the best.

The notetaking system is not user friendly. It is far too cumbersome and time intensive.

Hey Michael thanks for the review! EHR can be overwhelming. We've made so many changes over the years to make it easier to use adding body charts, all in one screens, and interactive panels. Our most recent change includes voice dictation. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot. It may be just what you need!

Vorteile:

I have used EZBis since 1989. I watched it change and grow. They implemented suggestions into the software fairly quickly. It's easy to use, easy to modify, easy to learn.

Nachteile:

It has no cons. When something does need changes, I just make suggestions and the team works them in.

I am a Hard Sale, but I chose EZ Bis

Kommentare: I have used three other chiropractic office programs through the years, but EZ Bis is the most flexible, allowing easy access to patient accounts to make changes. My assistant who has used ChiroTouch previously, says that ChiroTouch seems "clunky" in comparison to EZ Bis.

Vorteile:

Excellent and personable customer service, excellent help desk. Broad range of add-on modules to allow custom fitting to my needs.

Nachteile:

The EHR module is cumbersome. However, in its defense, its use of language allows for a variety of daily visit notes. There is very little "cookie cutter" language like you see with other programs.

Only downside is we have a cash practice and cannot give a HCFA receipt on the day of service right to the patient. This is a real pain
