Great tool for integrating a DAM to other tools

Vorteile:

CI HUB is sort of a Zapier for the DAM industry. It offers a universal connector to directly access your content in other programs.

Nachteile:

No pinning / quick access functionality for folders within a DAM.

Very helpful for link and modify any image

Show all assets in one place. so it's very helpful for a link in InDesign

Nachteile:

In the InDesign window, it shows very tiny so I have to search in DAM then copy the name and find in InDesign. there should be some shortcuts.

Better than nothing

Vorteile:

it is nice for creatives to be able to locate assets in the tool they are working on- less context shifting.

Nachteile:

the search is slow, the functions are not universal for all programs, not easy to use.

A different experience

What I liked most about CI HUB Connector is that it allows me to have a more productive workflow by having all the things I need in one click.

Nachteile:

There is no feature that I liked least about CI HUB Connector, everything is working smoothly.

CI HUB Connector blog keeps me updated on different news and information. It is very easy to use after going through and learning from the academy. It also has a free trial and it is affordable.

Kommentare: As long as the user has required technical knowledge and money to spend in this software CI HUB is dependable and efficient tool that is helping us.

Vorteile:

When I am using adobe products I really know how simple it is to link and relink my assets, credit goes to CI HUB CONNECTOR. It has consider accelerator my workflow and made the design process simpler.

Nachteile:

This app has terrible user interface and design that is something needs to improved.

Kommentare: My experience with CI HUB can be described as it's simple to use, which is a boon to creative users who don't have to learn how to use a new tool, and saves a lot of time while adopting it to into the team's workflow.

Vorteile:

The thing I like the most about CI HUB is the ability to use boolean operators to refine search results and to use keywords as filters.

Nachteile:

The thing I like the least about CI HUB is the need to approve google oauth access to use the connector in google chrome.

Making easy to share the right content on all platform

Kommentare: CI Hub is designed by people with a deep understanding of the creative workflow, and it implements well in this application field. But it could be used also in other environments, like updating of elements in dynamic sites, where you publish information on demand. We are seeing its complete usage including metadata manipulation as a vehicle for addressing content creation in a number of places, including education.

Vorteile:

With CI-hub it is easy to define and access your content interface, full of metadata, searchable and available on an ever growing number of platforms. What I like best is the ability to connect closed vertical environments like a DAM with general purpose environments like google cloud and office 365 or even Figma

Nachteile:

the sw appeared to be quick and consistent so far. What I am missing is an Api interface to probe in specific contexts

Vorteile:

Once staff were upskilled it is highly functional and delivers on our needs. I have 4 staff all using a network sharedrive that is mapped tothe same cihub folder which makes it even more functional for an inhouse team.

Nachteile:

Haven't encountered anything that we don't like yet. If anything it is the speed of thumbnailing but i cant solely blame cihub for that.

Great Product in terms of Digital Asset Management

Kommentare: Overall CI HUB is very handy in terms of user friendly and also great asset to save the time to get your tasks done ontime.

Vorteile:

You do not have to go specially on biden website and download the images instead you just can search the name of the image and drag it on your design

Nachteile:

We are really look forward about the storage feature bec it takes PC space to save the images of digital assets i think we can do something to improve the storage system

CI Hub for Adobe InDesign

Kommentare: Trying to access our assets in or DAM from within other applications, and to perform advanced functions with those assets.

Vorteile:

I liked that CI HUB has support for advanced import options and working with the assets.

Nachteile:

Since there are so many functions that it can do, for several different applications, that made the UI of the tool a bit cramped and might be difficult to find the button you need to perform the task. There's also a specific example when trying to select an upload profile for our DAM, and the dropdown from the tool extends off the bottom of my screen, I'm not able to see all of the values within the dropdown

InDesign 2022 - TC Use

Vorteile:

I was reluctant at first that I wouldn't be able to drag and drop files any longer into InDesign. But with using any new tool you get used to it. Multiple screens are a must if you are designing a large document.

Nachteile:

I selfishly miss the drag and drop function that we used to previously have. I realize we can do that with the CI Hub, but it's different, you have to expand the CI window to make navigability nicer. It's fine, I'm just getting used to it.

CI HUB Adobe CC is easy and seamless

Vorteile:

really helps our clients push/pull assets with Adobe CC and their DAM, ease of install, search, and covers many CC applications.

Nachteile:

stores a copy of the digital asset on users local machine. Rather just push/pull straight from the DAM

Search possibility should be a lot better

Kommentare: It is only useful if you dont have more that one category field

Vorteile:

Easy to integrate, and mirroring the image bank quite good.

Nachteile:

Its not possible to narrow the seach limit with multiple categories. It only doubles the search, which is the opposite of the initially image bank, which the data is gather from.

CI Hub

Vorteile:

None after losing the drag and drop feature.

Nachteile:

Losing the drag and drop feature, need to download asset to local disk instead of linking directly to server.

Vorteile:

There is something to be said for ease of use. It's fairly intuitive, even for less technical members on my team.

Nachteile:

I feel like there is a lot of extra steps (clicking) that are in, and it slows the process down slightly, but not enough to discourage use. Still easier than most.

Nice Tool to Streamline Efforts and Documents

Kommentare: It's worked as advertised and as expected - there are some issues that arise, but to be honest - I'm not sure if it is the connection internally or between CI Hub and Brandfolder and the transitions that happen within. That said - I wouldn't NOT recommend it as the ability to not leave the program and know things are being processed it a valuable asset.

Vorteile:

The ability to process packaged files on a click is fantastic.

Nachteile:

Once packaged and uploaded the process seems to be hit and miss when it comes to updating or revising.

innovated platform

Kommentare: It was great to integrated an a lot of teams are testing to check what the possibilities for example finding resources for promotions or other type of projects.

Vorteile:

First of all the Integration with all the application like WordPress, Figma, Photoshop that our industry is using. Second of all we using the features search to quickly find all images or text. All great innovated features.

Nachteile:

There is nothing negative about this application we used in our industry for at least six months and we didn’t see any negativity in this application
