Great option for our business.

Vorteile:

The feature that attracted us to Plastiq was we could use credit cards to pay vendors who do not accept them or charge a higher percentage than we would pay Plastiq.

Nachteile:

The fee is reasonable but could be a little lower to match some other competitors out there.

An excellent payment processor

Vorteile:

The features are well thought out and easy to navigate. We've never had an issue taking payments with Plastiq.

Nachteile:

The UX on the app can be tricky to navigate at times, however once you become accustomed it's ok.

Plastiq Customer Service Downhill

Kommentare: It use to be pretty good. Now, it's pretty bad!

We have been using Plastiq for 4 years and love it.

Vorteile:

It’s an easy-to-use platform that has been pivotal in helping our business grow. We use Plastiq to make sure we can keep more working capital on hand by paying with our credit card. The flexibility to use them for all payment types though, allows us to manage most of our cash flow through the one platform. Plastiq is a hidden gem in all the ways you can use it to help your business.

Nachteile:

Currently, they have their software and customer service down pat!

Payments and rewards

Vorteile:

We have been strong advocates of Plastiq for years. We use Plastiq to take advantage of various credit card rewards and its easy-to-use interface for our business payables. Plastiq offers both domestic and international payments with credit cards and integrates well with our AP software. We could not recommend enough!

Nachteile:

Plastiq is continually upgrading their product, do not have any Cons.

My check payment never arrived to recipient, poor customer support, no tel contact

Kommentare: For the reason I used them, the experience was terrible. I am out a significant amount of funds, no way to find out what happened to my payment, or where the check is currently and my project has been on hold now for more than 2 weeks since they did not deliver the contractor the check, and now I have been pushed to the back of the line for my project to start. First time user, and not so sure it is worth it if this is how they do business.

Vorteile:

Easy to set up, seemed like a good way to take advantage of company CC rebates.

Nachteile:

Check not dlvrd, no way to contact them.

Fees too high

Vorteile:

it is pretty simple to set up, interface has changed regularly and a bit better

Nachteile:

fees are way too high, has hiked sizable since I started. if found decent substitute I would switch easily

Plastiq automated your cashflow management

Kommentare: I've used Plastiq for years and even with the fees I find myself continuing to come back to the service.

Vorteile:

I love how I can set-up vendor for payment and then automated it each month. I can swap in and out credit cards to maximize rewards.

Nachteile:

I think the fees could be a bit more attractive, especially for those who run large volumes per month

Ease of payment processing with multiple options

Kommentare: Overall, my experience with Plastiq is very good. Payments were made as shown in the final screen during payment and nothing is hidden in terms of charges and/or any criteria for payment processing.

Vorteile:

Easy to navigate and select options, secure transactions, dashboard shows all previous activities and provide option to repeat the same option without filling out all the details again.

Nachteile:

Some vendors, companies did not show up during search but those companies have agreements with Plastiq for payment processing and I receive the link from those vendors to carry out the payments. This was weird as if the vendor has an agreement with Plastiq then that vendor should show up during search.Another thing I don't like is that if I want to pay tomorrow then there is no option available for urgent processing of payment.

Made significant improvements to processing and user notifications. Customer service is not very good.

Nachteile:

Customer service was not a positive experience. They never followed through or responded. Terrible. Now that processing has improved have not had to use Customer service.

Used for business inventory only because of receiving CC rewards

Credit card rewards/rebates. That's about it.

Nachteile:

Very expensive to use for paying with CC. Luckily, our business can afford it and the credit card rebates offset the cost.

Vorteile:

The best way to earn points from using your credit card. Plastic offers a diversity of vendors whcih can be paid via their service.

Nachteile:

The limitations of American Express using their platform.

It's hard to communicate beyond front line customer support
