All-in-One Lösung für Partner Management und Produktionsprozesse
Kommentare: Insgesamt bin ich ausgesprochen zufrieden mit Lano. Es hilft uns täglich Projekte in Time, Budget und Quality auszuliefern. Sowohl wir als e-Learning Agentur als auch unsere Partner profitieren stark von all den Features, die Lano bietet. Bei mehr als 1000 Produktionen im Jahr und mehreren 100 Partnern ist Lano genau die richtige Software, die uns hilft sowohl den Überblick zu behalten als auch Rechnungen einfach, schnell und organisiert fertig zu stellen!
Vorteile:
Die vielfältigen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten im Bereich der digitalen Video-Produktion und des e-Learning. Vom Ausschreiben eines Jobs, über das auswählen der passenden Partner bis zum ausliefern des fertigen Produkts. Hier ist jeder Schritt abbildbar. Wir können sowohl Projekte innerhalb der Software organisieren, KPIs streamlinen als auch das komplette invoicing über Lano fahren. Die Kommunikation über Lano ist genau so möglich wie der Status zu verschiedenen Aufgaben innerhalb der Projekte. Besonders Praktisch finde ich das internationale Payment, was über Lano zu einem "Klacks" wird! In Hinblick auf eine digitale und globale Arbeitswelt von Morgen ein echtes USP.
Nachteile:
Mir würde eine Individualisierung der Projektmanagement Features gut gefallen. Hier sehe ich noch Ausbaubedarf. Am liebsten ein "customize GUI" ähnlich wie bei Salesforce. Ein Hauch Slack, ein Hauch Asana und die Kiste Rockt 1001 %
Wer viel mit Freelancer arbeitet muss sich Lano anschauen!
Kommentare: Unterm Strich: Lano ist ein sehr mächtiges Werkzeug, welches alle Aufgaben in dem Zusammenhang mit Freelancern übernimmt und organisiert.
Vorteile:
Wir haben eine Software gesucht, die es uns ermöglich die Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Freelancern absolut zu digitalisieren. Angefangen bei der Erstellung der Verträge, über die Kommunikation und Abrechnung. Durch den Fokus auf die gesamte Beziehung von Unternehmen und Freelancer haben wir eine sehr umfangreiche Lösung in Lano gefunden. Ein sehr großartiger Punkt, der uns sehr viel Zeit spart, ist die direkte Bezahlung der Freelancer. Ohne weiter Kosten können aus Lano heraus mit wenigen Klick alle Freelancer bezahlt werden. Super Zeitgewinn.
Nachteile:
Unsere Projekte laufe ohne Ende. Dies ist in Lano so nicht vorgesehen. So müssen Projekt und Aufgeben die keine Ende haben über Workaround abgebildet. Aber das ist ja auch ein sehr spezieller Use-Case. Auch ist das Team um Lano an dem Thema dran und versucht mit uns eine Lösung zu finden. Mehr Nachteile konnten wir nicht finden.

Vorteile:
I was tired of keeping track of which client owes me money. That days are gone with Lano. I am always aware of where I stand financially.
Nachteile:
I would love to have a bridge between Lano and Toggl to automatically charge my design hours to my recurring clients.

Kommentare: On searching for a EOR partner we had various conversations with different businesses offering similar services at different stages of maturity in their own company lifecycles. Lano albeit the youngest, and earliest stage company but the one that stood out the most to us for various reasons such as customer service, cost, flexibility and values. Being an early stage start up ourselves we where really looking for a partner that shared similar values to our businesses and that could offer the support and flexibility a young business like our requires. From start to finish the Lano team where proactive, responsive, professional and most importantly flexible - they really understood us and our needs. Vorteile:
We use both Lano as a Global Employment Platform as well as a Management platform to manage our freelancers across. Not only does Lano help us to access diverse talent across the globe, it helps us to do this in inexpensive and manageable way. I like to describe Lano and their global employment partners as our HRBP without the huge overheads.
Nachteile:
The only features I feel are missing come more from the freelance/contractor management platform side of the software. We also employ freelancers from around the globe so similar to having the compliance/labour law market knowledge on the EOR side of things through their partners such as Capital GES it would be great to have this potential offering maybe on on the freelancer side of things or pre-vetted partners they can recommend that can provide legal counsel that we can access through the platform i.e. check that the contractor/freelancer has all the compliant business insurance etc.

I enjoyed the end of our relationship, Lano created more work than anything else

The latency, not having clarity on the future costs, having mistakes in invoices, feeling that we are left behind

Kommentare: Happy that I'm not hopping from Excel tracking to Word invoice templates anymore and just have everything in one place.
Vorteile:
I use Lano to keep track of the time I spend on each of the clients and projects I work on. This makes my invoicing process at the end of the month very smooth, as I can quickly convert timesheets into invoices. It's also really easy to stay on top of the payment statuses for all invoices. Great that it's free, too!
Nachteile:
I haven't used the "email invoice" feature directly out of Lano much, as I didn't like the email template. However, I think they're constantly improving features, so might give it another try sometime soon.
Great solution to manage freelancers and employees in other countries
Kommentare: We are working with Lano for almost 2 years now to manage our freelancers and started to use the Employer-of-Record feature in 2021. It's a great way to manage our freelancers and employees in other countries. Really great customer support.
Vorteile:
Very easy to use. Great implementation of Employer-of-Record functionality. Fair pricing model (especially with the new pricing scheme in place). Enforces high-quality processes for freelancer management. Great banking integration.
Nachteile:
I would love to see a feature to schedule bank transfers.
Lano is unusable for people who are forced to use it
Kommentare: I am a contractor and a client adopted Lano to streamline invoicing. Lano caters heavily to They claim support from over 170 countries, but I find I get 403 (forbidden) errors when accessing the home page unless I use a VPN to pretend to be in Europe or the USA.
Vorteile:
Nothing. It's like a scarecrow. It kinda resembles functional software from a distance. But when you try to use it you realize it's a Potemkin village. Slick website, but the functionality underneath is barely functional, full of bugs, with a UI that was certainly never tested. No way to get help or report anything.
Nachteile:
I am forced to use it to get paid, but it's utterly broken and there is no way to report bugs, provide feedback or get help. Site is plastered with "Get a Demo" popups to induce clients to use it. But the core product is barely functional (actually not even functional...) from the perspective of a downstream user who has no choice. Great way for freelancers to work with clients
Vorteile:
I really enjoy that you can follow the invoicing status, so you always know what's happening and when to expect your money. Also, the ability to invoice in different currencies is extremely helpful for international freelancers who work with clients from all over the world.
Nachteile:
There are a lot of features that I have actually not used yet, so there is a lot oto explore

I loved how it's so user friendly. Very efficient and accurate service, fast response to queries. There professional and confident team gave us the security in that we are compliant.

Incredibly we are satisfied, so have no issues with the software.

There are always compromises with software and so processes will need to be tailored to make sure this can work for the business.

It's so easy to load client profiles into the system and create and manage invoices seamlessly.

I'd like to be able to send the invoices from my own email address, as some clients get confused

Il est facile d'envoyer une facture ainsi que de la payer. Le logiciel est épuré et on retrouve facilement les fonctionnalités.
Nachteile:
Impossibilité de mettre le site en français.
