Vorteile:

An sich eine gute Aufnahme-Software. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas mühselig, aber das muss man ja nur ein einziges Mal machen.

Nachteile:

Leider gibt es keinen Kunden-Support. Im Laufe der Zeit investiert man jedoch recht viel Geld in die Software - daher ganz klar: Lieber einen Hersteller mit Kunden-Support suchen.

Cubase, the exemplary daw for audio recording lovers

Kommentare: Cubase has provided me with functionalities that I didn't find in other daws, it is easy to use even though it is created to compose more elaborate works, it has a good quality/price ratio and in my opinion, it is the most complete daw on the market.

Vorteile:

Cubase is an incredible daw if we want to combine the best of the digital audio world and the processing of analog components, this daw has different versions that will serve us depending on what we want to do, offering us an incredible variety of plug-ins and making it easier to work with analog controllers in the process.

Nachteile:

Cubase is... expensive, notwithstanding having different versions to all the pockets, Cubase is a premium daw that not everyone can afford, there are cheaper options on the market that can supply what we are looking for, to the cost of the elements version of Cubase, we could easily get a more advanced version of another daw.

Best value for a Pro Result

Kommentare: I’ve been using Cubase since version 4 and have continues to upgrade every couple of years.

Vorteile:

Cost to performance ratio by the far the most competitive. You can spend more but you wouldn’t end up with better end result.

Nachteile:

They change around some of the ‘quick keys’ from one version to the next. Requires a little relearning.

First CUBE Love

Kommentare: I started my first music works with CUBASE at the time was the 5 version and was just awesome. After a while I realized I can do better integrating that software with other VST-2 plugins as Ampire (for I started as a guitar player at that time)

Vorteile:

The capacity to do something unique and special as the pitch shifting and loop working better than other DAW

Nachteile:

The main view that is not truly engaging and simple as in other DAW

Promising at first, but couldn't keep up with the competition.

Kommentare: Primarily a solid DAW for beginners at a reasonable price. However, if you're transitioning from basic production to professional studio work and live performances, you may encounter some features that don't function as expected.

Cubase - The King of Vocals

Kommentare: Great software, especially Cubase 5, it is the best when rewired.

Vorteile:

Recording voices and mastering a song feels great on good monitors.

Nachteile:

It's a mission and a half to program a beat there...

Kommentare: Due to my experience of using Cubase, I can say it's about personal previous skills and that's because Cubase in its core is really depending on the user's familiarity with DAW software and their specific needs. Generally, it is considered a powerful and reliable DAW that provides professional-level tools for music production and audio editing.

Vorteile:

1- comprehensive set of features, professional-grade audio quality, intuitive user interface.2- Extensive plugin support. 3- It also offers a wide range of virtual instruments and effects.

Nachteile:

The only cons I can think of is the price of the full version and you may occasional stability issues.

A real audio DAW workhorse

Kommentare: I have used Cubase for years. It's a no messing, straight to it kind of DAW, whether recording/editing audio or creating music/sound design via MIDI. The built in synthesis is good, the generic plugins are great (Reverb and compression in particular)

Vorteile:

Cubase is a solid and reliable sequencer. The audio engine excellent and so responsive I frequently edit clips while I'm actually recording.

Nachteile:

The only niggle I have with Cubase is the price. the Pro version is around £500 and upgrades are also a bit pricey.

Best recording audio additing app

I did not like making instrumentals in cubase it was very difficult even though the sound is high quality.

Cubase from producer

Kommentare: I have tried that for some months and than swapped to FL Studio just cause it's way more common and easier to find some good tutorials online and cause i've started with that one. My overall experience with Cubase can be good cause it has all it needs with a professional look

Vorteile:

Cubase is, compared to other music production software, one of the easiest to use and have a medium price. Easy to set with your instruments and good for live producing with your instruments

Nachteile:

Cubase is a bit more professional than other more intuitive software like FL Studio for example. It can be a cons for beginners but can be a plus for experienced producers

Steinberg Cubase Review

Kommentare: I continue to see the full creative potential in my music production thanks to the great features in Cubase, where it has helped me carry out my music production on a more professional level. Whatever goal I set for myself, Cubase has helped me achieve it easily and quickly in an efficient way.

Vorteile:

There is so many features to choose from, but my most favorite feature is the track creation. I can create Audio, MIDI, Instrument or even Video tracks. I can also create Effect tracks that can easily be added as an Insert or Send. Another great feature is that I can organize all my tracks in sections by grouping them into Folder tracks, including BUS and Effect tracks and have a well organized structure with a clean look. So, Cubase is so easy to use that even a beginner would immediately fall in love with.

Nachteile:

I'd love for Cubase to implement a feature where you could easily clean an Audio track in the Editor with two clicks. Click one: This function would highlight all final steady state pressures. Each highlighted part would have an "X" option that would appear when hovering the mouse over it and that would indicate to remove it. Once all parts have been checked, this is where click two comes in, "Confirm/process". And that is it. I believe this is a great feature to implement to the Editor because if you have to do some cleaning on a complex audio track like I do always, then It's time consuming.

A Powerful Audio Recording Software!

Kommentare: When I first started my journey as an audio engineer, Cubase was the first software I used until I switched over to Pro Tools. While I don't use Cubase any longer on a consistent basis, sometimes I do need to use it for certain projects, and must say it has come a long way since I first started using it almost 20 years ago. The program now is much more streamlined, looks better, runs better, and has more features to compete with Pro Tools and the rest of the DAWs out there. I would definitely do your due diligence if you're considering Cubase, as for certain cases this may work best than for some users. Overall this is a great product that should definitely be considered!

Vorteile:

The thing I like most about Cubase is the user interface and overall layout. I find this to be easier than most of the DAWs out there. Another major perk with Cubase compared with other DAWs is the scoring and music notation capabilities, which are much better than most. There is a ton you can do with Cubase, and once you get the hang of it it's really just as powerful as any DAW out there.

Nachteile:

While I wouldn't say I dislike this aspect of Cubase exactly, I would say that when compared to Pro Tools, Cubase does fall short in it's editing and tracking capabilities. It's not so much a knock on Cubase, but Pro Tools in my opinion is the most superior DAW in this sense.

Better and better with every upgrade

Vorteile:

Working with plugins can be challenging with most DAWs. My challenge was always how to map and control both internal and/or external plugins with a midi controller. I use both Keyboard & korg controller. Cubase Focus quick controls have greatly made this easy and gone beyond just mapping…. The quick controls offer the ability to control various plugins and I am able to do custom map the controller very easily. Additionally, now I am able to use the same plugin mapping when i load it on another channel without the need to remap the controller. Awesome!

Nachteile:

For some reason I have never liked scrolling horizontally in Cubase. It always felt a little mechanical and don’t make a mistake and forget or misplace the dongle. I am glad that upgrading cubase helped address most of my issues.

Cubase simple useful helpful. always improving toward becoming more and more professional

Kommentare: Had a kind of short experience with it in comparison to Pro Tools which I've been using for almost 8 years.
But currently I downloaded Cubase LE and we'll see how the evolution went so far.

Vorteile:

Easy to you and Have fluidity in working which gives you fast pace and the feel of control over what you are doing. Great for working with midi and VSTs even better that Pro Tools.

Nachteile:

Audio Recording through it is not satisfactory as using Pro Tools.

Software Review

Kommentare: An open minded audio landing/dumping software that can give you or receive back edited or externally manipulated tracks for combination as much as professional standard internal recordings. It's a clearly ambitioned contender or peer for the audio dumping/recording for production and it can handle a generous number of tracks with exceeding fluidity and no huddles. Worth noting, a good audio conversion rate and turn around, data to play back ready audio mono or stereo track.

Vorteile:

An above standard multi track build on board. It is the ultimate place for building a multi-track audio project for both audio production or video production, it is a good landing/audio dumping and recording platform that can inpart or infull give you the manipulated mastering ready audio. In essence you can do all the production individual track or multi/live tracks for direct or indirect manipulation.

Nachteile:

Not a tool for the naive, but for its niche much tolerable, for the preparation will hatch grand results. Definately needs someone to boot you in here, or take a few days to get a feel of it. On the contrary a definate professional tool, so it is definately not for the trial and era kind of user.

Very very good!

Kommentare: My overall cubase experience is Great and satisfying. I was always able to run and do what I needed without a hitch.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and complete product. You can record audio, edit audio, mix audio, and master audio among other things.

Nachteile:

Cubase's display form and tool organization could be better.

Has everything I need and more

Kommentare: Definitely positive, really good learning curve, and in the bottom line it really helps me make music.

Vorteile:

Great MIDI editor, easy to install plugins, lots of really good guides, both the manual and online tutorials, sn a lot of really useful stock plugins.

Nachteile:

The update pricing not reasonable in my opinion, as upgrading from version 10 to 11 cost the same as upgrading from 5 to 11. Also, sometimes projects take a while to load, but I guess that happens in all DAWs, and depends on the computer recourses and specs.

cubase is an exceptional sequencer

i'm a beat maker i like to use cubase software to make my beats and then record my songs. Even with the basic plugins in cubase we get to make mixes out of the ordinary with ease of use.

Nachteile:

the software takes too long to start when you have a lot of external plugins. and the software has too many bugs

Cubase. You don’t need a phd just a bachelors

Vorteile:

It’s got some good plug ins. It Does what you need to do when you get it working.

Nachteile:

Really hard to understand and setup audio busses and the program really doesn’t remember your choices. This program works well for industry pros who have had years of training. I tried to use for a year or two with little luck. Tech support is not good for the free version. Which is understandable.

Very good software

Kommentare: It does the job and it does it well, but I don't use it for all its capabilities, mostly for recording vocals and it's one of the best.

Vorteile:

High quality audio output is what you get when recording before editing is done. Editing is done to perfect a good audio.

Nachteile:

The interface can be complicated sometimes.
