I love how fast it is to pick up, especially if you’re moving to logic from GarageBand. So if you’re a Mac user, logic is a no-brainer (no pun intended).

Nachteile:

The thing that I like least about logic is the fact that the updates are so crucial to the full use of the program. For instance, logic completely stopped working on my system, at least as far as the newest versions that include stem separation, due to the fact that my system is too old, however, my system is only from 2020.

The bus system is a little overly complex at times, with it being far to easy to create unnecessary bus tracks

Kommentare: I'm the kind of producer who gets an idea, tries to get it down as soon as possible before it blurs away. Logic helps me keeping ideas on track and do it swiftly.Using multiple au/VST plugins can get messy real quick in other DAWs, but Logic keeps it clean which makes a clearer path for your idea to sound like it does in your head. I always get surprised by the quality of the included sounds and effects, just browsing the library and listening to the different virtual instruments can bring your original idea in new territories you wouldn't expect.There are not many products who can withstand Pro Tools, but Logic is definitely the best alternative to this even-more restrictive environment.

Vorteile:

Open Logic with no inspiration, and get a track done in hours. It is so feature-packed you can work with its onboard set of tools and create something excellent. The GUI feels professional and user-friendly at the same time, shows that time was taken to make sense of things, instead of just cramming floating window after floating window like most other DAWs.

Nachteile:

There is not much not to like with Logic, except it's only available on MacOS!

Logic pro is incredibly flexible and works with ease on a macbook. I have never run into compatibility issues with it.

The learning curve is a bit steep. But the flexibility of the software far outweighs this.

I cannot say much bad about Logic Pro except I hope the developers add a lot more instruments to the library to try!

Kommentare: Logic is by far my favorite Music program.. it is effective,efficient, fun and challenging..it has everything I need to edit movie scores, produce music, mix vocals .. it is compatible to pretty much everything I just love it it’s so useful

I Have fell in love wit the new sampler and Apple loops.It is so cool to have my loops chopped with a few clicks… I also enjoyed the updates and the auto correct

I feel that it should be a change to installing plug ins and temps …pre sets are all hard to navigate through I think it would help to make it easier to install

Vorteile:

The audio stretching and manipulation are key for me these days. Being able to change the timbre and inflection of a voiceover sometimes saves the day when the VO actor didn't say something the way you wish they did. And for music, all the built in effects are fantastic.

Nachteile:

It takes some time to become familiar with the tools-- but once you do it's great.

Definitive digital audio workstation

Kommentare: Honestly it's unlikely that I would consider switching to a different digital audio workstation. Logic Pro just provides so much value and enables my workflow that I would be hard pressed to look elsewhere. It's a different sort of environment from Live by Ableton, which is more pattern-based, while Logic seems to me to be more visually digestible.

There is a brief learning curve but in my opinion after that point, Logic Pro becomes very intuitive to use in terms of putting music together quickly and effortlessly. There is a wealth of instruments and sound presets to choose from, and the very strong quality of the built in plugins means that sounds are endlessly customizable.

Getting your final mix to sound "professional" is a little more difficult to achieve. There are also individual learning curves associated with individual instruments, which often hide a huge amount of sub-settings.
