Kommentare: Kein Support erreichbar. Die deutsche Nummer funktioniert oft nicht und dient wohl auch nur als Weiterleitung ins Ausland. Trotz meines langjährigen Business Accounts bei Paypal und meines Kaffeehandels wurde die Accounteröffnung für Paypal Braintree für WooCommerce abgelehnt.
Womöglich weil der Shop eine nacht und einen Tag wegen Wechsels von Shopify zu WordPress/WooCommerce nicht aufrufbar war. Die Mail kam auch aus den USA nicht aus Deutschland. Lächerlich und unseriös.

Vorteile:

Gar nichts, konnte diese nur einrichten aber nicht aktivieren.

Great payment gateway across multiple platforms

Kommentare: Operationally Braintree has worked really well, and has integrated into 5 different platforms / user experiences.
A very good Sandbox service really helps get things right.

Vorteile:

Braintree works really well as our payment gateway across a number of platforms. Reports are easy to access and payment is reliable.

Nachteile:

To use multiple receiving bank accounts we have had to set-up different accounts for each one.

Our favourite payment processor

Kommentare: Overall, Braintree is the superior payment processor in terms of value.

Vorteile:

What I like the most about Braintree is its low fees and secure platform.

Nachteile:

What I like the least is that it’s sometimes difficult to speak to a human to solve an issue. I also find the PayPal relationship confusing.

Shocking After Care Support

Kommentare: Good until the recent 3DS upgrade - now they have just stopped replying back to our queries/complaint.

Vorteile:

Lots on support when On Boarding and for the first 12 months after integration

Nachteile:

Being able to actually speak to a person rather than going through their automated processes. Our issue is technical and we understand that mistakes can happen but not being able to discuss them in a reasonable manner has been frustrating and we still don't have a resolution. Braintree have simply stopped responding.

BRAINTREE IS THE TOP NOTCH AT FRAUD PROTECTION

Nearly every payment option... All In One!

Kommentare: I have had a great experience overall. They fill the gap between the business owner and paypal, plus they offer integration with SO MANY other payment options. Being able to accept digital wallets is a very future focused offerring.

Vorteile:

I really like the ability to accept so many payment options... Paypal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit/Debit... All from one platform!

Nachteile:

The fees for gateways are a little higher than just a credit/debit card. But, the credit/debit fees are lower than pretty much everyone else.

Braintree is powerful

Kommentare: Overall, we had integrated braintree with one of our client's ecommerce sites for payment processing. Documentation is good, support is good and highly recommend.

Vorteile:

Easy to implement, good technical support, fast processing

Nachteile:

Not too many bad things here. Occasionally ran into support needs, but handled quickly

Braintree keeps us online & safe in a risky world

Kommentare: Overall, we have been very happy with Braintree. We process a lot of different payment types across different platforms, and they can all run through this single system to keep us safe from fraud & data breaches.

Vorteile:

The ease of implementation within our internal user UI & our self service UI was really nice. We also know that we can rely on Braintree to keep us on the safe side of payment processing - which of course is the most critical need.

Nachteile:

We've had a few minor SEV outages with Braintree, but overall they are fairly minor.

Proficient Payment processing Program

Kommentare: Braintree has increased the value for every payment made, and this ensure there is quality operational support.

Vorteile:

Braintree helps us manage all the payments, and this gives more revenue to the firm.

Nachteile:

The focus from Braintree is authentic and flawless.

Great Processor and works with WooCommerce

Vorteile:

I could accept multiple different payment methods. Customers could pay with PayPal, credit or debit, Zelle, and I could connect Stripe. It was just versatile and extremely easy to use.

Nachteile:

I couldn't really figure out how to set up ACH, but I also couldn't figure out how to find support for it. Maybe there was options but that was hard for me to find so I spent a lot of time googling to figure stuff out for myself.

Excellent platform for payment processing!

Kommentare: Great experience overall and love the ability to use multicurrency payment processing all in one platform.

Vorteile:

The platform is super smooth and has great integration for processing payments with Paypal and Venmo.

Nachteile:

Customer service wait time was longer than expected, but none the less the help needed was accessible.

Reliable, but too expensive after a while

Good solution, but not the best

Kommentare: Overall, my experience was good, but I I*did* end up switching over to Stripe in the end which I found to be an simpler solution and easier to use overall.

Vorteile:

I felt that Braintree was very trustworthy. As I have an online shop, I wanted to make sure my customer's data and transactions were being processed safely and in line with top industry standards - I definitely trusted Braintree to handle payments made through my Woocommerce setup.

Nachteile:

I sometimes had a hard time navigating the Braintree control panel and enabling certain functions and add-ons. I found it impossible to setup Apply Pay for instance (which was just a couple of simple steps with Stripe). I also experienced a couple of infrequent issues with Braintree's Woocommerce plugin - honestly not sure if that's on Braintree or Woocommerce. But when I switched to Stripe, their plugin worked smoothly without any of the same small hiccups.

Best paypal payments

Kommentare: Paypal is one the payments method I love using why shopping online and making online business payments because they delivered my money on time and they are still very fast and quick software I will rate them 5 STARS because they what it and am very happy using PayPal payments online I like PayPal.

What I like most about PayPal is the payment method is very fast and quick and the business payment method I love this part because they hold your money on things the products are delivered and then they will realize the money to the seller that why I like PayPal most.

Nachteile:

What I like least is the part of the business plan is what they take too much commission out of the payments you will receive the customers which are not a real good thing on PayPal if they can charge least it will be good for users like us least.

Features far behind competitors and terrible support

Kommentare: We dealt with their support team during a 4 month period to handle a seemingly simple request. They ended up closing the ticket without explanation and the case went unresolved. We're currently migrating to a competitor.

Vorteile:

They offer the bare minimum functionality for processing payments

Nachteile:

The customer support is probably the worst I've experienced and the product has not progressed much over the 6 years we were with them.

ZERO STARS Horrible company, I lost $1,000s. Avoid like the plague

Powerful and easy to use payment processor

Vorteile:

It supports many different payment methods (credit card, paypal, google pay, apple pay, etc). Braintree also has great security tools to prevent most fraud.

Nachteile:

The fees are a bit high compared to competitors and they are raising the fees again shortly.

Setup and configuration for this payment solution, comes really easy with amazing integrations.

Nachteile:

I understand that some specific African countries can't fully make use of this service because of restrictions. Now if, you have an outstanding fraud protection system, why can't you work on resolving these restrictions? And this has affected a lot of businesses.

Love this online payment option

The fees I have think are a little high.. still less than Stripe so I'll take it. But you pay for what you get... no major complaints.

I like the layout of the different reports and the software is highly intuitive with minimum glitches or technology issues.

I dont have to give my credit card information everytime I want to use this.
