Einfach loslegen in der dritten Dimension

Vorteile:

Die Intuitivität ist unglaublich hoch - so kenne ich das von sonst kaum einen Programm.

Nachteile:

Kostenfreie Nutzung von SketchUp war früher umfangreicher

sketchup wird immer teurer und schlechter in der Tag-Funktion

Kommentare: Unzuverlässig, weil keine Tag-Farben dediziert möglich

Hände weg von Mietmodellen

Vorteile:

Die Knechtschaft Mietmodel macht jeden Vorteil zunichte !

Nachteile:

Der Nachteil welche alle Vorteile zerstört, ist das Mietmodell. Wenn man dieses Programm verwendet, kommt man in 30 Jahre Nutzungsdauer auf ca. 120.000,-€. Es wäre so als ob ich meine Natursteine für den Innen- und Außenbereich nicht mehr dem Kunden verkaufe, sondern nur noch vermiete. Oder wenn jemand im Büro eine Schreibmaschine gekauft hat, diese nur noch mieten darf. SketchUp hat das Kalifornische Unternehmen Trimble Navigation von Google im April 2012 abgekauft. Die Abhängigkeit die mit Mietlizenzen erzeugt wird, entspricht nicht einem freien Menschen, also nicht unserer Kultur und ist Menschenunwürdig. Die Amerikaner zeigen mit Google / Facebook / Amazon und vielen anderem das eine Bereicherung und Kulturzerstörung an erster Stelle steht,.... anstatt ehrliche Arbeit. Als Unternehmer arbeite ich meine 80 Stunden in der Woche, und bereichere mich nicht an andere.

One of the best developments in designing

Kommentare: I use SketchUp personally for my freelancing work as well as in my profession as a planning civil Engineer. It is important that there are paying categories in this software so that I could use shop pricing plan for my personal business and studio pricing plan for the company. So far it has not disappointed me in designing with SketchUp. It is a good experience.

Vorteile:

It is a very much user-friendly product compared to other products in design. Every design software needs a time to learn but by using SketchUp I personally save lots of time. As a construction company, we use outputs of this software to make a clear picture for the clients about the project. Importing and exporting data is very much friendly since it allows to import of data in various formats.

Nachteile:

When it comes to animation, It is time-consuming to learn.

Draft and easy 3D models of your ideas

Vorteile:

It is easy to learn, free to download (2017 version) and it can help you easily visualize your project.

Nachteile:

It is not very precise and it can sometimes be very frustrating to draw complex geometries, it takes some plugins to do it.

SketchUp IS ESSENTIAL

Kommentare: It is one of the best software for creating 3D models. You can make them as simple or complex as you need.

Vorteile:

It is an intuitive software. Easy to use. You can get totally professional results.

Nachteile:

The price could be better compared to other software.

Needs fixes!

Kommentare: Not bad, needs improvement. Once all the fixes are done, will be okay.

Vorteile:

Not complicated for simple drawings. Not too expensive.

Nachteile:

It does not save your color changes in paint. If you create anything in that group it will be lost. You can be working on a drawing and you will get logged off and all your changes are lost.

SketchUp Review

Kommentare: Overall it is a good program. If studied a little more I could've been able to master it.

Vorteile:

That O was able to draw on my iPad with ease.

Nachteile:

It wasn’t too user friendly, it would sometimes draw a line where I didn't want it to. Some of the user tools are hidden and you need to really look for it.

I Used SketchUp for a College Project

Kommentare: I used the trial version of SketchUp back in 2017, to create the skeleton for 2 sets of environments (a fur-trading fort and a longhouse village). Prior to this, the only 3D program I had used was Sculptris, and I was looking for something that was better with inorganic structures. I enjoyed my time working in the program , and found it relatively easy to pick up and use. That said, I only scratched the surface of what was possible. For context, I only created the exteriors of the buildings, as my end goal was to have 3D references I could then pose and draw over for my project. This also meant that while I built the structures as closely as possible to the real things, I didn't need any of the measurements to be exact.

Vorteile:

It was perfect for what I wanted to do; building design and camera posing.

Nachteile:

I can't remember any big issues, but I only used the program for a short while and to create general 3D references.

easiest 3d modeling software

Kommentare: for a period of time while I was studying architecture , I didn't have much time to learn rendering professionally , I was short on money and my computer wasn't that strong , sketch up helped me go through that time , providing me with basic renders I needed .

Vorteile:

in my opinion the most likable aspect of SketchUp is how easy it is to work with . although i took a course to learn how to work with the software ,it wasn't necessary . you can easily learn the software by browsing through YouTube or other free videos .

Nachteile:

as easy as it is to work with sketch up it doesn't give you a very realistic render. for better and more detailed pictures you either should use another software or improve the renders by using photoshop.

One program for 2D and 3D for Interior Designers

Kommentare: I use SketchUp for everything. From the start of the project, importing cad files or drawing it on my own, to the very last detail with sections and schedules

The ability to bring the drawing into layout and create a set of drawing for contractors to use

Layout could be more designer friendly and have different drawings integration

Kommentare: overall experience is really joyfull, especially that I can design and manipulate my designs as I wish and edite and model it to real views with render feature and the extensions function that reallyhas a great impact on the speed of work on the software.

Vorteile:

what I mostly like about sketchup is the friendly user interface use of it, I can design and model any types of shapes, homes, cities ,... I like how I can export and import many different formats of files.

Nachteile:

the least I like about sketchup is that it requires high resolution cards and high performance processors while rendering.

Amazing for CAD work

Kommentare: Love it, easy to use, cost effective and presents your plans and ideas beautifully.

Vorteile:

Very intuitive platform with a fast learning curve. The extensive library of components makes it easy to create realistic environments and it was great for designing point of sale.

Nachteile:

They recently moved the free version to web only which is glitchy unfortunately. Much more stable on desktop.

Metaverse in a glance

Kommentare: Sketcup allow us to simplify and speed uòp the creation and realization of AR/VR solution within the company thanks to the huge amount of 3D content and the simplicigy in the usage of the solution they provided.
We did not need to invest in training of legacy software solution or costly hardware. We did easily everything in the Sketchup platform

Vorteile:

We started company journey on Augmented and Virtual Reality recently. The big obstacle was the contect creation, that even if it was not so complicated slow down significantly the speed to market of the solution. In fact it request a big knowledge skill on dedicated software not always simply to use.

Nachteile:

Price of a single 3D object to import sometimes is too high

Kommentare: as a whole it is a complete program that allows you to do many things such as the floor plan of homes or the 3D creation of objects, it allows you to do many as well as the most complex

Vorteile:

I used this software to create the pantry for my home as well as other projects and I found it very good, easy to use, intuitive and quite complete.

Nachteile:

graphics a little old that would need a radical update, too basic in the graphics

Quick to use modelling software

Kommentare: Provides us with an easy way to build 3D models for use in calculation.

Vorteile:

It is quick to build a model and easy to learn in the first instance. It has a scripting language and ability to add custom attributes which means it can be used for multiple tasks.

Nachteile:

Slow for big models with lots of polygons, clipping when distant from origin. The scripts can be slow to run.

Easy to use!

Vorteile:

It is a very straight forward program. You can model up ideas very quickly with limited knowledge. Great for showing ideas to clients.

Nachteile:

It tends to freeze with larger models and some of the plugins are behind compared to programmes like Rhino. It could implement 2D drawing more.

the best visualization tool for 3d modeling , it can be used for architectural design , interior design ,urban planning, and land scaping. it is the best tool to generate realistic renderings

Nachteile:

tough to model complex geometry. external rendering plugins are required for more advanced rendering needs. as the model complexity increases software becomes slower

A Great 3D modeling software

Vorteile:

SketchUp offers a user-friendly interface, making it easy to access for users with different levels of experience in 3D modeling. Its simple and straightforward tools allow for quick and easy 3D model creation. Also, the 3D models library, the 3D Warehouse, offers many free 3D models that can help designers save their time and effort.

Nachteile:

The 2D modeling is not very advanced and complex modeling tasks, or advanced rendering capabilities may require additional plugins or a more specialized software solution.

Perfect for visualizations

Vorteile:

It's a pretty agile, intuitive, and easy-to-handle app, it's great for quick jobs and visualizations.

Nachteile:

So far, I have no objection to this application.

MY MOCKUP

Kommentare: A FANTASTIC TOOL FOR THOSE WHO WANT A VERY DETAILED AND PROFESSIONAL PROJECT

Not What I Expected

The online tutorials have been helpful but also take a lot of time to explore.

Nachteile:

This tool is very complicated to use. You need a class in 3D design to be adept at navigating the tools.
