Bewertung des Programmes Bitwarden

Kommentare: Bitwarden ist wirklich jedem zu empfehlen, der viel mit Passwörtern arbeitet, die auch immer unterschiedlich sind. Versteht mich nicht falsch natürlich auch für die, die das selbe Passwort verwenden.

Vorteile:

Man kann all seine Passwörter mit nur einem Passwort sehen.

Nachteile:

Es wäre theoretisch möglich, alle Passwörter zu haben, weil wenn man das Master Passwort herausfindet, dann kommt man ja in den Account rein. Lösung dafür ist die 2 Faktor Authentifizierung.

Gute durchdachte Lösung

Vorteile:

OnPremise ist diese Software ein wahrer Segen. Die Daten liegen sicher verschlüsselt in den eigenen Wänden, das Berechtigungsmanagement funktioniert vernünftig.

Nachteile:

Bei der OnPremise-Lösung ist die Aktualisierung manchmal etwas tricky.

Mein Preis-Leistungs-Sieger

Kommentare: Andere Passwort-Manager mögen etwas schicker aussehen, aber rein funktionell sind meine Anforderungen gut erfüllt.

Vorteile:

Bitwarden ist ein Passwort-Manager, der alles bietet was ich brauche: Passwörter, Ordner (z.B. beruflich - privat), Kreditkarten als eigene Kategorie. Selbst in der freien Version ist die Zahl der Einträge nicht begrenzt.

Nachteile:

In der IOS App habe ich ein Problem: Wenn ich die App schließe, während ein Eintrag geöffnet ist, später die App wieder öffne, und den offenen Eintrag schließe, stürzt die App ab. Man kann das umgehen, indem man einige Sekunden wartet, aber es sollte nicht passieren.

Einfache Zusammenfassung aller Passwörter

Vorteile:

Passwörter werden automatisch erstellt und abgespeichert, lassen sich leicht kopieren. Übersichtliche Zusammenstellung aller Passwörter. Zugriff für andere Nutzer lässt sich leicht einrichten

Nachteile:

Eigentlich bin ich durchweg mit den Möglichkeiten zufrieden

Best password manager

Kommentare: Based on the price the value is exceptional. Bitwarden is part of my workflow a long time ago.

Vorteile:

Beside the fact that Bitwarden is completely open source and validated by security companies, it has a ton of functionality that really improves security at home and within an organization.

Nachteile:

I can't really tell a lot. Sometimes I had to initiate the sync manually when I had to use the password between devices, but that is usually rare.

Familiar and solid

Vorteile:

It’s familiarity with an other open source desktop password manager.

Nachteile:

User management, that you have to accept a user after invitation. Collections vs folders, why not simply call it folders? And please give us owners on collections.

Very Reliable and Secure

Kommentare: Overall, my experience has been really awesome. Been using it for 1 and half year and never felt like changing it to other app.
Very secure and all my colleagues can access password from company email.

Vorteile:

The product is very secure, reliable and gives ease of mind. Its very user friendly and easy to generate really tough passwords and passphrases.

Nachteile:

The need to authenticate every time i open the app. Its such a pain but considering it stores all the valuable passwords, its understandable.

Very confusing for set up and use

Kommentare: Very, very frustrating. Also disappointed because I had invested a fair amount of time comparing different password managers and thought this one would work. Instead it turned into a huge waste of time.

Vorteile:

That it was free - I appreciate that at least I did not lose money when I deleted my account.

Nachteile:

User interface, help, instructions, etc. very hard to follow for beginner. It was difficult getting started, and I never could find a satisfactory answer on why there are both a web app and a browser extension. There are also mobile and desktop apps. I could not tell if we needed all of the apps installed, and if not, why would we have desktop, web, and extension all on same computer?

Great professional password manager

Kommentare: Great password manager, easy to roll out across the organization.

Vorteile:

The ability to seperate personal and work passwords, automatic form fillers, collections to seperate passwords per client.

Nachteile:

I can't really think of anything to be honest.

Best password manager I've used!

Kommentare: Great! I'm am so much more organized and secure with my information and passwords after starting with Bitwarden. It's available on every platform I need and easily setup.

Vorteile:

I love that it's free to get started, and the upgrade is very reasonable, if you end up needing to. I use the password generator all the time!

Nachteile:

Autosave and autofill work 80% of the time, which is great, but not 100%. I have had times when trying to create a new entry using the browser plugin, that I accidentally clicked off, closing the popup and losing the info I had not saved yet. This has caused frustration more often than I'd like. Editing entries can be tedious, but you are protected from messing with things you want to leave untouched.

Bitwarden review

Vorteile:

Bitwarden provides a high level of security and stores all sensitive information locked from external actors.

Nachteile:

So far, I have not found any downsides to Bitwarden. I hope to keep it that way.

Bitwarden Password Manager

Kommentare: Excellent. Much better than my experience with my previous product.

Vorteile:

The ability to use multiple devices and the Autosave & Autofill feature of the Chrome extension.

Nachteile:

The incomplete version of the Android application, given that it does not suggest logins for every application, which requires me to open the Bitwarden application and copy the credentials from it manually.

I haven't found anything yet that I don't really like

Best alternative solution for lastpass & Dashlane

Kommentare: I am quite happy that i have to pay no more for password management

It is free and covers everything even if you don't buy it

Sometimes you have sync issues but that happened to me only once

Toss out your little black book and move to the future

Kommentare: Overall its a great password manager, I install either the app or a browser add-on onto each of my devices and any new site I create a password for is automatically synced. The ability to easily share passwords with friends, family or colleagues is also a big plus. Its amazing how often I jump on a site and bitwarden tells me I already have a password, that saves me so much time because with several hundred passwords its hard to remember what all I do and don't have passwords for.

Vorteile:

The fact that I have 300+ passwords and no longer have to keep an excel spreadsheet, use redundant passwords or keep a little black book around. I can access my passwords from any device connected to the internet through a web browser, app or widget.

Nachteile:

Overall Bitwarden is great, the biggest challenge I have run into over the course of several implementations is teaching people the new workflow to creating passwords. I wouldn't say its a downfall of the software so much as trying to kick the bad habits most people have.

Amazing Passwordmanager

Kommentare: I switched from LastPass about two years ago and i don't miss a thing. The Software is extremely small in size, has amazing encryption options, is blazingly fast and gets updated regularely.

Vorteile:

It is extremely easy to setup, holds an unlimited amount of passwords (i currently have saved around 400) and let's you create even credit card pre-fills or save Adresses. So i usually can directly login to a website and let Bitwarden fill out everything else with just a few clicks.

Nachteile:

On mobile devices sometimes Bitwarden's Trigger doesn't work. That's usually when an In-App Browser is used and Bitwarden can't destinct between the shown Browser Page and the App. So in such cases you usually have to go to the Vault directly and copy your credentials to your clipboard.

Extremely Impressed By the Free Product

Kommentare: BitWarden helps to configure and manage secure credentials on all of the sites that I use. It is highly recommended.

Vorteile:

After the Password Manager that I previously used switched to a more expensive pricing model, I decided to try BitWarden and I am glad that I did. It has all the security and password management functions I was looking for, including 2FA for account login.

Nachteile:

It very rarely happens, but sometimes username and password forms cannot be filled as expected. There is a very rare problem and doesn't happen nearly enough to impact my opinion on the product.

Bitwarden is the best password manager, and the best part is that it's free

Kommentare: It's been spectacular. I love Bitwarden. I have installed it for my children, my wife, my mother, and recommended it to friends. I even posted a blog article about how to get set up on my blog.

Vorteile:

It has every feature of the big players, but it's absolutely free. There are a few things you can pay for (I personally do the $10/year plan) but most people do not need to. Password management, password generation. It doesn't get more simple.

Nachteile:

I honestly have nothing bad to say about Bitwarden.

Great password management tool!

Kommentare: I was a bit scared at first to use this password management tool as I was very happy with the previous one but so far it has been great. Importing all the password took just a minute and everything was there. There is a bit of adjustment but once you get the hang of it, there is no going back.

Vorteile:

The fact that Bitwarden has open-source code and is very clear about their tool and what they are doing. The free option is enough for most people but even the paid version is very cheap for what it offers you. The phone app is great and very easy to use!

Nachteile:

Compared to some other password managers, Bitwarden doesn't always recognize when a new password is created and therefore doesn't offer to save it automatically.

I don't know why you'd use anything else?

Vorteile:

For a start it "just works" and that's a baseline for any software I use. It works on my desktop, laptop (both Apple) and my phone (Android). It uses biometrics on the devices that have it. Oh, and it's free. Really hard to find a reason not to love it!

Nachteile:

Really can't think of anything? I use it all day, every day. It's part of my workflow. I've been using password managers for over a decade (at least) and paid for many different ones. But now I don't have to. Thanks Bitwarden team!

Affordable and it works

Kommentare: Bitwarden is easy to implement and use. It’s not a complicated platform. And it’s very affordable.

Vorteile:

I like how straightforward it is to learn and to use.

Nachteile:

I think the interface could be modernized.

Centralised Password Manager

Vorteile:

Bitwarden is extremely easy to use across all my devices, my phone, on the browser and on any application that I want. My top favourite features are autofill, 2FA, and that it can automatically match URLs based of several methods such as host/domains.

Nachteile:

The baseline of bitwarden security is on a master password for encryption, so in case you loss or forget the password there is no way of recovering it. This puts more emphasis on remembering and securely storing your master password.

Passward management software

Kommentare: Overall my experience was more than positive and I can't do without it now

Vorteile:

intuitive pasward management software and also in the free trial and complete and nothing is missing.

Nachteile:

Best password manager I've tried

Kommentare: I have over 500 different strong passwords registered thanks to bitwarden, and only need to remember my master password to unlock my vault. Everyone should use a password manager tool like bitwarden.

Vorteile:

Bitwarden easily syncs on your laptop, desktop and mobile, keeping all your passwords safe and quickly accessible.

Nachteile:

I wish we could create subfolders to classify the different passwords we store in the vault, and display tags on the vault.
