In Glass door its bit not easy to find job for every category. Sometimes freshers must think this is job board is not for them

Kommentare: It's a good idea to look up some companies before signing the contract. I love that you can find interview questions the companies used in the past.

Vorteile:

Resume posting and Job posting are important. Easy to use.

Nachteile:

Not a lot of Namibian companies can be found on the site. Especially small businesses.

Glassdoor better talent meets good employers

Kommentare: Overall experience is average.

Vorteile:

Glassdoor provides a better interface with ai features for both, employers and applicant. It is contained with all required information points, you have to complete your profiles with real data. It is better at some points compare to LinkedIn.

Nachteile:

Employers cant post job directly, if it is true,not liked in my opinion.

Ease to manage as a business

Vorteile:

Working in marketing, I help out HR a lot with Glassdoor. The branding, company updates, and the profile itself. I also help with reviews and creating reports. Everything is easy to use.

Nachteile:

I have not found a con for Glassdoor at this time.

Glassdoor is a Good Job Site for College Graduates

Vorteile:

On Glassdoor, I can search for jobs in my state and see reviews on that particular company from current and past employers.

Nachteile:

The only thing I don't like about Glassdoor is that the jobs that are posted are just for major cities. I live in a small town, so I have to search for jobs in the next big city close to me.

Great industry measurement

Kommentare: Glassdoor has been super helpful in seeing how we are and where we stand in our industry.

Vorteile:

Glassdoor is a great website for job posting as well as checking in on the industry see how your own company is fairing against others and what might be areas of improvement that you haven't realized internally.

Nachteile:

It can be a bit annoying to use specially when for some reason it doesn't register the input you've already given and it keeps asking for more info before letting you see other things.

Useful for reviews, hit and miss for salaries, terrible UX

Vorteile:

Company review database by current and former employees is unrivaled - if you need to find out what people think of your company, that's the place.

Nachteile:

Salary database is hit and miss. The UX is absolutely terrible - search & filter is nearly impossible to use, dropdown for countries and cities is terrible, and the website often has issues with switching from one domain to another.

Glassdoor Site for a Job Seeker

Kommentare: Glassdoor is free for everyone and it totally helps every job seeker to have their opportunity to apply for their dream job or company.

Vorteile:

It post lots of job opportunities. You can easily apply for a job that you like. Job seekers will able to see the skills needed for the job positing.

Nachteile:

Not all of the reviews for the company is true, very limited information, sometimes false reviews that will downgrade the reputation of a company.

I like that Glassdoor has a large amount of job postings.

Nachteile:

I don’t like that whenever I apply to a job, Glassdoor sets up an email notification to be sent to me with daily open jobs in the location where I just applied. It’s too much.

The user experience is excellent and the reviews are genuine which were written by the employees of the respective company.

Nachteile:

In order to access all the information from the company it always shows a pop-up to write a review about the company.

Important tool for job seekers

Vorteile:

This is the site that I used to check the industry salary rates of different companies. Users can give sensitive information like their salary, company environment, benefits and other job related data anonymously. This really update me about the insights of the other IT companies and I can make decision based on whether I'm inline with the current industry standards.

Nachteile:

Some data accuracy is debatable and there is a problem on what content to trust.

Good software but I'd rather not sign up to read reviews

Kommentare: This software is useful when it comes to companies that are my clients - for example, it helps understand better what my candidates should expect should they decide to interview for them.

Vorteile:

I like being able to read overviews about competing companies, my clients, or companies where I sent applications to.

Nachteile:

I don't like the fact that I have to sign up and give my personal details to read reviews of other companies.

Great Source For Higher Paying Positions

Kommentare: Glassdoor is on the top of the list of quality job boards. It brings in the highest quality candidates to your more difficult jobs to fill. People using Glassdoor know that this is a quality job board with quality jobs.

Vorteile:

You can really focus on showcasing your company culture and attract qualified candidates to your company as opposed to a certain job title. Getting candidates to buy into your company before just the job is imperative to finding a candidate that will stay for the long haul

Nachteile:

It's a bit hard to navigate at first as it's unlike normal job boards. It's quite dynamic. Once you learn how to navigate all the tools it is worth the initial frustrations.

Glassdoor is magnificent especially for people who are in need of jobs, and it is easy to use, you just put your details and after that, you will be notified when there is an opening in harmony with your abilities, I have already seen that with my own profile, so I would earnestly urge those who are in sought of jobs to consider this dazzling platform.

Nachteile:

There is a large amount of people using it so if most of them apply for the same job as you, then there is a chance of you not being considered by the company.

Kommentare: My experience with the app was overall a good one, being able to read reviews about different companies, and getting to know more about the job market.

I like the most the fact that I can see interviews, job posting, salary informations and company reviews for different companies on the app, allowing the candidate to kind of filter during the job hunting process.

Nachteile:

The candidate profile could be improved allowing the user to add more informations about himself.

Kommentare: Its good. However, when you are looking for a job, you cant miss galssdoor as its one of the reputed websites to find your new career with.

Vorteile:

I like the way they organize the website structure, its good and straight forward. Plus, they provide some good features like salaries and companies reviews.

Nachteile:

I start feeling that a lot of their vacancies are not real. Its impossible to apply for hundreds of jobs that matching 100% my skills and experience without even being called from the employer! But, I can't blame glassdoor. It may be a fake position from the employer himself.

I like that it is a professional platform for job seekers. It provides a variety of jobs all over the world and in multiple fields.It shows the salaries range for lots of required positions and fields according to real factors which helps a lot the job seeker in determining his suitable salary for the job he applies for. It is easy for use and browse. Also, it is organized and has a very good filtering criteria.

Nachteile:

the most important con and the greatest issue in the app is that the phrases are overlapped the icons of the company's logos which makes you cannot distinguish the title of the position either to see the logo of the company in a clear way.

Kommentare: Glassdoor is recommended to both companies and job seekers as its one of the largest online job posting and searching site. It is easy to use and setup your profile and it helps you managing your contacts and history.

Vorteile:

Glassdoor is one of the most recognized job and candidate posting website therefore having a very large database and available options for both employers and candidates. You can search resumes with specific key words to find the best candidates with experiences, making it easier to connect your business with the right candidates.

Nachteile:

Information is open to public and any recruiter, you can get unsolicited emails or phone calls

I like the fact that job postings are easier. I love the fact that this particular platform notifies those using the platform. The fact that Glassdoor also notifies people applying for positions at a company what other positions are available for that same company is helpful and great.

Nachteile:

There was nothing I liked least about this software.

An amazing app for job hunting, salary negotiations and understanding work ethics of a firm

Kommentare: A must-use app for anything related to jobs starting from job applying and deciding to take up an offer or not.

Vorteile:

The most I like about this software is the fact this software could be used to understand what jobs I could apply to and then I get to read interviews as which is the best part of glassdoor for me. Apart from this, the software gives an overview of the total pay(base, stocks, joining bonus etc.) given to a candidate which helps tremendously during salary negotiation if less salary is being provided for a person of a same job position, location and firm when compared to the salaries mentioned on glassdoor. Even market pay of a particular job profile could be gauged from this software as well.

Nachteile:

The least I like about this is nothing to me actually as I truly love every aspect I explored in this app.
