Start animating 2D

Vorteile:

It is easy yo use if you have use other software that do the same.

Nachteile:

For what I need to do, I have no complaints.

My thoughts on Krita:

Kommentare: Krita is a free, reliable, and fairly easy to use digital paint software that really shines when compared to other software, because of its features, and especially because of its pricing. Its very straight forward with its features, and very easy to get lost in creation with just how simple it is to start up and get painting. Personally, I've had no problems. Other than a little bit of learning when it comes to animating, importing brushes, and some quirks with dealing with vectors, I'd say I can't think of a better software for people who don't have the time or money to get something like Adobe Illustrator. Art, animation, graphic design, texturing and really anything you want to create in the bounds of 2D (and with the excellent pricing of only $0.00@), Krita is your tool for your needs.

Vorteile:

First let me say, its free, but boy does it function like a paid for software. It's easy to use, easy to animate, (after you learn how to set it up and use which isn't very hard) easy to draw and easy to have fun and be productive. Krita comes with a lot of different tools, like a ton of brush types for detail, layers for organizing and ease of use, and vector tools for your graphic design needs. It's also constantly being updated, so if there are any issues of features lacking (which there are some) it should be fixed or added in future updates. Also, for my 3D modelers out there, you can use Krita not only for making textures, but use a function in Blender called 'edit externally' to quickly switch between to the two for maximized efficiency.

Nachteile:

It's hard to really organize the workspace and get it personalized to your needs. It does have workspace templates which normally suffice, but that doesn't excuse how tedious it is to customize to your liking. Vectors seem to be buggy, but I don't really understand how to use them, so that I can say how good or bad they really are. My main issue is when I make textures for 3D models, it's hard to import different brushes, and one can easily get turned off by how annoying it can be sometimes.

krita effects

Kommentare: its basically an app for beginner artist, although there are even more free and easy to use apps to use but krita if from more better and i would recommend it to anyone starting their art journey.

Vorteile:

the features are definitely easy to use, unlike adobe photoshop or illustrator that a bit complex and takes longer time to master, krita is far more easy to navigate and it makes quite good for beginner artists.

Nachteile:

well, i think making the animation features easy to use, and even though its easy, its still doesn't compare to photoshop that is has some cool FX effects you can add to your artwork, or illustrator that is used for vector art, even clip studio paint has a feature that allows you to do vector artwork, so i think maybe adding features for effects that can make art more beautiful instead of drawing the whole thing from scratch.

Krita can be better.

Kommentare: I love designing on it and the best thing its free to use.

Vorteile:

I like ease of use as a beginner in designing with no background in graphic designing.

Nachteile:

It lag a lot. It very annoying and made me think to quit it.

Interested in Illustration and 2D Animation? Choose Krita!

Kommentare: Great experience. Krita delivers all what illustration would require and help the artist create what they want generally effortlessly. With tools like automatic fill by adding a couple reference brush strokes, or extended features that are not specifically for illustration such as Editing and Animation, I've been able to create things relatively fast and well. Overall I think this programs is more than welcome trying out and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.

Vorteile:

Easy-to-Use in general, with different workspaces and customizable workflows.Packed with features and many brushes.Animation-Making friendly, intuitive controls.Great at Illustration, with different brush engines, stabilizers and assistant tools, including also a way to paint by doing a couple of colored strokes and then automatically getting parts of the drawing painted.

Nachteile:

Image editing could be improved, as it is relatively basic at the moment. Although this is not the main purpose of the application, it could be a good addition.2D Animation, although essentially possible, could be also further improved.Further Vector Graphics support and editing would be a welcome improvement as well. There are ways to work with vector graphics, but they are limited.

The best art program I’ve used

Kommentare: I personally use this program to make art for my games and my characters in my stories

Vorteile:

I love the way the program looks and the ability to change the theme. The tools are very useful too!

Nachteile:

I personally don’t like the fill tool because when using it doesn’t fill all the way in the lines and leaves some unfold pixels

My feeling and likes about krita

Kommentare: Krita has always been my favourit for last 5 years. Its a great app to work with and so easy for me. And its so good about sizing and all. Honestly its the best app i have ever used in 10 years journey..

Vorteile:

Its brushes, like its the best, so many options plus online brushes to be able to add too, they are so smooth and doesnt require to do extra affort on. Its really affective towards my project in a good way. They look really affective and they dont pause in times and doesnt make my project rough. My most favourite were the fineliners and they work so good. They are 10/10 in every rate.

Nachteile:

The least is that the layers, they are a bit hard to work with but still its not hard if i try more. The layers often mix together if i create more than 10, so yeah.

Best program for any artist

Kommentare: It is an amazing program, the drawing pad connects east, wide selection of brushes, extra features too many to name, if you like to draw I highly suggest getting this and a drawing pad

Vorteile:

This program works perfectly with a drawing pad and is so simple to get up and going, the brushes selection is great and the final results look amazing

Nachteile:

Not a lot to dislike about this program, it functions perfectly on a very low end laptop which is a massive bonus

Save yout wallet and get all the editing Power

Kommentare: On this week I found that Krita has some extencions that can help me with my work

You will have a lot of tools for edit and animate your creations or works

Nachteile:

Some times you feel is out of date because the interface looks pretty simple

Great but not better than Photoshop or After effects anyway!

Kommentare: It's fun using Krita for design skills training.

Vorteile:

There are a few options that make Krita exceptional- It has a very rich color palette- Amazing paintbrushes- works perfectly on Windows 10 - Supports easy file import & export- Available in the English language- It's free and fun- A library supper packed with amazing animation and transition effects

Nachteile:

- Can't be a better fit for crafting high-quality and advanced designs or animations- Could be amazing if it was available in many languages-Makes constant requests to download files from an external website

Richard Lubiano on Krita

Kommentare: It's fun and satisfying working on Krita. They have options on editing a picture which i really enjoy and relieves boredom.

Vorteile:

They have varities of features and always updates. Different selection of brushes makes my work more beautiful and meaningful.

Nachteile:

The layout was a bit weird. The shadowing of the buttons are not likeable. Additional more brushes if possible. For me it is much better to make the brush setting more advance.

Vorteile:

Mi è piaciuta la vasta selezione di pennelli (meglio di Photoshop, contro cui finisce per scontrarsi); la smussatura del tratto, la presenza del "livello filtro" per applicare modifiche non distruttive; la possibilità di spostare le finestre a piacimento definendo la mia area di lavoro; in ultimo, il prezzo.

Nachteile:

Gli strumenti di selezione sono imprecisi; scontornare le immagini non sempre è sufficientemente immediato, sebbene adesso mi ritrovi spesso ad aiutarmi con tool online

Photoshop who?

Vorteile:

Free open-source version replacing photoshop in my basic workflows.

Nachteile:

Not always easy to use and sometimes hard to learn, but so is photoshop - so basically nothing really to complain about.

Approachable Elegant Software with the Usual Open Source Roadblocks

Kommentare: Overall, Krita is a very capable product, great for learning, and acceptable for its purposes. In the long run, a user running any kind of enterprise or business will likely want to find a paid product for the Quality Assurance and Support that comes with it.

Vorteile:

It was approachable and pretty full-featured in its design. The docking system is convenient and after a few basics I was able to get a good ways before really having to resort to online materials for extra help. The dock, tile, and brush system are all very solid and flexible. Although the layout is messy in some ways it keeps the main tasks fairly up-front and simple. They also seem to be constantly updating the program. While it doesn't have touch controls, its support for my drawing tablet seemed to be pretty robust (full disclosure, there are so many tablets on the market that it's hard to say whether my experience is representative).

Nachteile:

The cons, sadly, made my time with Krita limited and I soon had to switch to a comparable paid product. These are issues that, in my opinion plague most free open source projects, so your mileage may vary depending on how important "free" is. First, the documentation is lacking. Sometimes it's just what you expect, but because they are constantly adding features for some features the documentation is missing entirely. Secondly, their constant updates and the nature of a collaborative open source product means a lot of features break for extended periods of time while they get around to figuring them out and fixing them. The result of this is that I felt like I was spending as much time talking to (or reading from) other users on Reddits and forums to figure out what a large number of functions were supposed to do, how they were supposed to work, and what any workarounds were for them being broken. It's due to many similar reasons why I have sworn off open source products in my business, but for students or those without the same concern of clients and running an enterprise, something that works 80% of the time and requires much more involvement might be preferable as it costs 100% less (free!).

Best free desktop vector graphics tool

Kommentare: Krita has been my choice of a vector graphics editing tool, because it's free and still powerful.

Vorteile:

There are many tutorials for Krita out there, which makes it much easier to use the tool. It's packed with features like brushes and shapes. The application also runs smoothly. And it's entirely free!

Nachteile:

You have to look at the small stuff to find flaws in Krita, but I think the tool is due for an interface overhaul, since it seems dated and isn't self-descriptive.

Animation with Krita

Kommentare: I used Krita over 1 year to create animations for my customers, it helps you alot and gives space to create important designs.

Vorteile:

Krita has tremendous important feature to editing animations, it helps you creating beatiful animations.

Nachteile:

Krita has no bad feature at all, it gives you important well desing features.

Dependable Open-Source

Kommentare: I love using Krita. I hope to go far as a digital artist using Krita.

Vorteile:

This software is easy to use and beginner friendly. The documentation is extensive and gave me confidnece as a new digital artist.

Nachteile:

There aren't many tutorials out there directly for Krita, and those that are aren't as in-depth as for alternatives, however many of the same principles apply to Krita when drawing.

Krita a very complete drawing software.

Kommentare: I have been using krita for a few years now, it has become my reference for free drawing, I often use it for photo retouching or small montages. It's my favorite software to create digital artworks. I highly recommend this software if you don't want to spend money.

Vorteile:

Krita is an excellent program for drawing with your graphics tablet, the program works very well and I have nothing to say about the tools available, it is free and has many functions. Its interface is sober and its ease of access make krita a leader in drawing software.

Nachteile:

Krita is a bit simple, it is less complete than other photo editors or drawing platforms and has some bugs that are quickly fixed. The lack of support for some plugins is the biggest problem for me.

Powerful, plus free and open source

Kommentare: Krita was one of the first design tools I used and it allowed me to experiment a lot of different tools and workflows.

Vorteile:

Krita is an excellent tool to get started with vector design. It's free to use but doesn't lack features. It's excellent to use when designing logos and drawings. Definitely a worthy alternative to paid tools out there.

Nachteile:

I have struggled with keyboard shortcuts and sometimes finding the tools I need for a steady workflow. I also experienced some random crashes when editing several files at once. But these are minor details considering just how much this tool provides for free.

Amazing

Tremendous product that is a great alternative to adobe photoshop. Has almost of the features needed for great picture editing.

Nachteile:

The software sometimes crashes when I run demanding tasks on it.

Good for creators of digital art

Kommentare: Good for small improvements, erase some scribbles and create PNG images.

Vorteile:

It's simple and practical. Faster, cheaper than others. Good structure, icons and intuitive so you can download it and have fun.

Nachteile:

If someone have told me about this software before I would have installed it earlier on my computer.

Test with Krita for the creation of logos and pictures in a craft store

Kommentare: I am a designer in a store that works with laser machines, paintings and crafts in general so I always use and research a lot of software and Kripta was one I chose because of the effects that brushes can make on prints that we sell to the store. Professions, children and decoration boards get a different touch provided by the resources that the software has to offer, all for free.

Vorteile:

Krita has a variety of impressive features and brushes, among the various tools that I can cite that help a lot and are different from the program are, the effects that each brush can generate, the possibility of creating your own brushes, the easy way to working with layers and an interesting feature that I discovered is the way the line can be drawn according to the intensity you press with the drawing pen

Nachteile:

Krita does not have many negative points, it is a cheap software with many features. It is not always very intuitive when it comes to tools, but that doesn’t make it a bad software, moreover, it can sometimes hang a little bit according to the design you made, and working with texts on it is not so satisfactory

Vector editing

Kommentare: Great free software with loads of features

Vorteile:

After I left Adobe’s product suite this was a great choice to continue my vector graphic design.

Nachteile:

Was a bit complicated when switching from Adobe but overall not to bad

Vorteile:

Great for those who have used Photoshop and would like an alternative.

Nachteile:

Like Photoshop, can be challenging to use for beginners. I often feel like I'm driving a Ferrari in first gear.
