ClassPoint is a life-saviour!

Vorteile:

The variety of features to heighten student's engagement at tertiary level especially the image upload feature.

Nachteile:

It would be great if I can download the leaderboard for future reference.

ClassPoint is a Game Changer

Kommentare: I found this tool in an effort to find an internet browser for PPT. When I discovered everything ClassPoint has to offer, I immediately started the process to get it approved throughout my organizations. After a year of pestering IT people, I have finally gotten it installed on all the right computers and have begun training staff on how to use it. My hope is that we will upgrade our accounts soon because we have so many using it in their training sessions!

Vorteile:

I love being able to add interactivity to PowerPoints I already created without having to go to an outside tool like Quizizz. I also really love the browser!

Nachteile:

I want the students to be able to interact with the whiteboard and the draggable objects.

Wish it functioned cleaner

Vorteile:

Great for classroom engagement. Great that I can integrate directly into PowerPoint. Short answers and multiple choice quizzes are perfect to gauge learning.

Nachteile:

It often slows the PowerPoint app down while using to build lectures or present them. The first version 1.0 caused several crashes of my system requiring PowerPoint reboot and deleting of old PowerPoint files. If the bugs get fixed this would be an amazing product.

Vorteile:

I love the ability to use AI to prepare a range of questions from PPT slides questions at varying levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. This saves me SO MUCH TIME! Its a quick knowledge check for my students that gives me an idea of what they know, don't know or may need some clarification on to fully understand. Then I can go deeper in conversation and on the tests. I an also randomly select students to answer questions which is always a plus to make sure they are always on their toes and paying attention! And best yet...students love it and grades are strong!

Nachteile:

So far I haven't figured out a way to create questions from a group of slides using the AI feature, which would be NEXT LEVEL awesome! I also would love to find a way for the students to access the questions after class to remind them of the questions we went over in class. I haven't figured that out either since I don't share my slides with them, I share a student version without the questions and a few other things missing so they have to pay attention and I can change things last minute, etc. If this feature exists I haven't found it yet ut need to do more exploring, I'm only a few weeks into it.

Good class tool, still missing a few things to be the only tool to use though

Vorteile:

I love the annotation tools, especially how easy it is to change from one to another. In addition, the polls that can be given during the presentation is awesome. Also, being able to share the slides with students live, it really helpful.

Nachteile:

I really wish the students would be able to see the annotated on the slides they see.

A happy discovery

Kommentare: Overall I really like it, though I have only really used the name picker. I tried the questions but it's limited because I don't have a subscription, so that didn't work for me and I had to use a different option (website). I have also watched some of their instructional videos that I really liked, including using AI to generate a PowerPoint. I love learning stuff like that.

Vorteile:

The random name selection option, specifically the cards instead of the wheel (to mix it up because I know another professor uses a wheel). The students like when I award them "stars."

Nachteile:

Students have to join the virtual classroom each time. Slows things down in the classroom. Seems like I could create classes and if someone is absent (rare in our program), then just skip them that day.

ClassPoint for Delivering lectures

Kommentare: I would say it was great to use classpoint app integrated within my powerpoint slides, very convenient to use.

Vorteile:

the inbuilt feature of class point app is really useful while delivering lectures. I also liked the additional tools for annotate the lectures and a white board page where i could draw models to explain further, thumbs up

Nachteile:

the extra free tools could have been added or made available (may be for short term) to get the hang of full software. The another thing i didn't like is that the app sign out frequently so I have to manually log in back again, which is bit of a hectic.

ClassPoint Pros & Cons

Kommentare: It's very easy to use and turns a standard presentation into something more fun and special =)

Vorteile:

Lots of question types available including multiple-choice, fill in the blank, multiple selection, etc. I also really like the gamefication aspects such as the leaderboard points system for various levels. The templates provided are quite nice and inspirational!

Nachteile:

There are a few technical components such as the system slowing down the presentation and sometimes it can kick users out of the session. Select many question type forces you to select ALL the correct responses to get the question right so if you want to ask a question like "what tools would you be interested learning more about?" A. Tool #1 B. Tool #2 C. Tool #3 and D. Tool #4 E. None of the above - If the correct answers are A,B,C,D and E is incorrect - you would need to select ALL A,B,C,D when really maybe you're only interested in the tools under A & B - but if you only select A & B, you would get the question wrong

Very promising if delivered as advertised

Kommentare: The app has great potential and there is maybe something I don't understand, but I think it still need a lot of work. I am considering asking for refund.

Vorteile:

I was searching for years for a way to create draggable elements while projecting and Classpoint is doing that flawlessly. It would be nice however to be able to duplicate those elements in slide mode with modifiers.

Nachteile:

None of the presentation tools are seen by the students, they are only show on my computer but not online. Connected students don't see transitions and animations as well.

ClassPoint of View

Kommentare: SMART. Sustainable, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Time-bounded.

Vorteile:

ClassPoint is on point. The tools and buttons are very easy to manipulate and utilize but then the outcomes, the designs and their features are surreal. You wouldn't think such software is true, but it is! People of different ages can enjoy and use ClassPoint with so much ease and i think that is what i like most about this application. It is gor everyone and for everywhere.

Nachteile:

ClassPoint is good as it is now but I do hope they would not stop with what they are now, I wish they continue to improve every single day and offer us—users much more fun and engaging features to discover.

ClassPoint - Making Interactive Online Education a Breeze

Kommentare: Overall, I really enjoy using ClassPoint! It's an easy method to engage learners online without interrupting the flow of my educational session. And it's free! Thank you so much for the service.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use! I don't have to click out of my slidedeck or into another platform or website to take polls, ask short answer questions, and get all the benefits of interaction in the online teaching space. It makes it so much easier and fun to ask students to engage online quickly and creatively, while avoiding the dreaded "silence" in an online session and prompting thoughtful discussion.

Nachteile:

There are two things I would like to see improved with ClassPoint. First, I want to see increased seamlessness between showing the slidedeck through Teams or Zoom with their incorporated presentation app from PowerPoint. ClassPoint doesn't seem to work well with those two apps, as opposed to the basic share screen function. The other thing that could be improved is to make it so that you can create a class code ahead of time for your session. I use the QR code pretty seemlessly, but for adult learners, some of them like to use the web browser version and enter the code, so if I could have that planned and ready to share from my slidedeck, it would be much better for those users.

Nothing but positives!

Vorteile:

Polls, interactions with students, learning to see how creative they can be with their answers!

Nachteile:

My students don't carry devices with them all the time. So it does take a few minutes to get ClassPoint up and running. Not any fault of CP though.

ClassPoint Great Resource

I really enjoy the easy of navigation and tools. Very fun to lear to use.

Nachteile:

I wish there was the ability to record a class for people to take on their own and still participate in challenges an tests.

Learning how to navigate the taskbar to set everything up was a bit disorienting, but after some practice, it got easier with time!

Classpoint in my Class

Vorteile:

Classpoint make my job easier as a teacher. I could teach any lesson with it. The gamified part makes the student excited to answer. I dont have to leave the slide when I have to show the students videos of pictures from other website.lastly, students can easily use the app.

Nachteile:

Some features like the drag sometimes do not function. The demand of internet for this also limits student for using the classpoint since most of them do not have internet connection at home.

My ClassPoint experience

Kommentare: Since the emergence of distance learning, teaching has become more taxing than ever. This compelling fact challenged educators to devise alternative and flexible teaching methods to motivate and guide students towards the most effective and efficient way of acquisition of knowledge. Fortunately, ClassPoint came as a blessing. It has made the job of educators easier, more efficient, and more effective in terms of promoting interactive and engaging way of learning.

Vorteile:

Since 2021, ClassPoint has been very useful in making my class more interactive using its built-in features. From then on, I have witnessed how my students became more motivated to participate in every classroom activity facilitated with the utilization of this all-in-one teaching tool. Now that my students and I get to enjoy the added and improved aspects of the ClassPoint 2.0, I am beyond certain that this will better reinforce and effectuate learning amongst them, thus maximizing their full potential as learners in the long run.

Nachteile:

If there is one thing I like least about ClassPoint, it would be the fact that oftentimes, it causes a bit of lagging to my device. However, when relaunched, the error stops and it works fine afterwards. Nevertheless, the pros of this tool definitely outweigh the cons.

ClassPoint is Magic

I love all the features of ClassPoint. Students are magically kept engaged all throughout the lesson thru ClassPoint.

Nachteile:

None so far, because I love all the additional features in ClassPoint 2.0

ClassPoint is truly the Best

Kommentare: ClassPoint is indeed hands down powerful. Best ever that I'd seen, bought and tried. Will never go back to other apps! It is definitely ClassPoint 2 for me and I will continue to share this to others for them to also see the magic.

Vorteile:

I am in love with ClassPoint original version it was love at first sight/use but ClassPoint 2.0 is the bomb! It's indeed so magical, powerful and all in. Indeed ClassPoint is the Best.

Nachteile:

None so far though I'd wish that draggable objects can be also turned into a quiz while retaining the non quiz version of it.

Classpoint:My saviour,My first love

Vorteile:

All features of the classpoint is impactful for me because it targets the individual differwnces of the learners. I can used them all through differentiated instruction.

Nachteile:

The draggable object. How i wish that it could be in learners mobile phone. So that they can experience the draggable object in their own gadget.

Revolutionizing Classroom Engagement: A Review of the Classpoint App

Kommentare: When I was observing one of my teachers in the Mathematics and Physics Unit, I was amazed at how Classpoint makes the class interactive, and participative and how this app greatly affects the students' performance in Mathematics. After this, I tried to use and this really helps me to be a more effective and efficient Math teacher since most of the students during Math class felt bored.

Vorteile:

Classpoint App is very useful and appealing since this app has interactive presentation tools, real-time grading, and diverse assessment options. The quizzes feature helps to keep students engaged, provides instant feedback, and offers a range of assessment options to cater to different learning styles and abilities. Additionally, its user-friendly interface and compatibility with various devices make it easy to use and accessible to all students.

Nachteile:

Sometimes when there is an unstable connection, Classpoint can't be used.

Kommentare: Overall, I love using Classpoint because it transforms the classroom engagement dramatically, because it makes my students more actively involved with the learning content which I present in Powerpoint. Students can share their views, takeaways, and even their own material so that others can learn from them as well (e.g.audio and video response).

Vorteile:

Nowadays, student-centered learning is a dominant byword in the academe, and Classpoint is an online tool that accomplishes this with flying colors. What I love about its features is I can create a class where my students earn stars for every student participation! I noticed how my students became more enaged and motivated because of these stars!

Nachteile:

The only drawback is sometimes, the question types are not automatically activated (perhaps due to the screen resolution which needs to be adjusted, or slow internet connection). Likewise, the inability to share the Classpoint audio in GMeet is a total bummer.

The Best App Ever
