Kommentare: Ich nutze seit ca. 10 Jahren SnagIT. Mit jeder Version kamen neue Möglichkeiten der Bearbeitung dazu. Ich würde lieber gern analog Microsoft ein Dauerabo einrichten lassen

Ich würde gern ein Dauerabo einrichten, damit man nicht jedes Jahr das Tool wieder neu kaufen muss.

Das beste Tool für Scrennshots

Kommentare: Ich benutze Snagit täglich, um Screenshots für die Dokumentation zu bearbeiten.
Es bietet alle Funktionen, die ich benötige, ohne mich mit einer komplexen Benutzeroberfläche zu belasten.

Vorteile:

Einfache Bedienung, durchdachte Funktionen.

Nachteile:

Nichts zu beanstanden, alle notwendigen Funktionen sind vorhanden.

Bewertung von tollem Werkzeug

Vorteile:

Schnell zum Ergebnis (Screenshot) kommen. Bedingt durch intuitive Bedienung und tolle Funktionen. Tool wird sehr gerne genutzt.

Nachteile:

Bis jetzt keine negativen Dinge aufgetreten.

Essential Documentation Tool

Kommentare: I love Snagit as a documentation, note-taking, and collaboration tool. It enables me to effectively communicate with coworkers with clear, visible screenshots and videos, allows me to be better about documenting processes, and allows for me to retain a backup of notes and screenshots for professional use.

Vorteile:

I enjoy the ability to seamlessly use keybinds to quickly capture images. The built in tools allow me to mark up and create excellent, professional documentation.

Nachteile:

I dislike that I am unable to add text to videos natively.

My daily Screen Capture and Annotations workhorse

Kommentare: Overall good. I will renew my license once again!

Vorteile:

It has enough features for annotations which are critical for our kind of work. We use the SnagIt Editor the most and hope that the team continues to add more features to it.

Nachteile:

Lack of advanced features for SnagIt Editor annotation tools

SnagIt - Worthy Screen Capture Application

Kommentare: Faithfully put to use since I discovered it 15 yrs ago

Vorteile:

Ease of use. Quick & readily available with the setting that allows for the widget.

Nachteile:

Older captures have been difficult to manage; in the event of a system restore, the approach to retain these back-up files is not clean. I've lost many a capture.

Was good now terrable

Kommentare: Frustrating!!!!!!!!!!! When You need the program, it stuffs up at the worst possible time

Vorteile:

The old versions were great, but the new ones have some sort of bug in them and don't work

Nachteile:

I can't get it to last more than a few captures before it stuffs up. And I have to reload the program. The capture goes into the editor as a thumbnail but does not go onto the main screen The help desk people a hopeless

Great software for normal humans

Kommentare: After almost four years I find I use it pretty much on a daily business to prep or capture web images fo a variety of sites.

Vorteile:

Easy to use, easy to learn and very stable.

Nachteile:

No real weaknesses unless you think it's going to replace Photoshop.

By far, the best there is

Kommentare: I found SnagIt while working at another firm about 10 years ago and I've made sure that it was available for me to use in my successive positions. I also purchased my own version for home use. It's the only program for screen capture IMO. Nothing else compares.

Vorteile:

Ease of use, no need to read a book first -- load, launch and go to work.

Nachteile:

Would like a default setting for use so if I switch in order to record video, my next launch will start out back to screen recording.

Ugh... why pay for this

Kommentare: for very basic simple things, that Windows itself can also do, it is OK.

Vorteile:

It works - mostly. The annotating is OK.

Nachteile:

Large images and the "scroll" captures are buggy at best and take forever and then fail. Also cannot easily change an image type, for example when trying to capture a "WEBP image"

Kommentare: As an auditor, I use it a lot to capture evidence.

Vorteile:

easy to capture screens, rolling screens, video capture.

Nachteile:

Limited number of screens before they move it to history, not very easy to be recalled from history

Vorteile:

Being able to record meetings and take screenshots of the presenter's screen has been a major improvement for our team when we perform walkthroughs.

Nachteile:

With the screenshots, you are not able to increase the size of the picture, there is also a lag time when initiating screenshots and video. The video is not able to recognize when you last stop if you close the window.

Snagit - Great Tool With A Small Learning Curve

Kommentare: Overall, I like Snagit and its functionality. It took some getting used to via trial and error, but overall, it has been handy.

Vorteile:

Intuitive, simple, and very easy to use. Snagit has a very secure and easy-to-use interface that allows me to capture screen images easily, and its library of call-out boxes makes it easy to highlight items.

Nachteile:

While the tool is simple to use, it has limitations in what it can do, and not everything is intuitive. For example, it can capture an entire website via a scrolling screen grab, but that takes a bit of thinking to accomplish, and the Reference/How To material does not describe all of its capabilities.

This tool has been priceless for the last 10 years

Kommentare: I’ve used it for 10 years and honestly, it has been excellent and I personally have never had a single bug or issue with it for my use whether I was using Mac or Windows. And it’s exactly the same on Mac and Windows so I don’t have to transpose commands.

Vorteile:

I can’t imagine ever working without snag it. It’s better than the free things that come with macro Windows. It’s not only simpler, but it’s also designed to take smaller sections of a screenshot, which is a lot easier to diagram and give a step-by-step procedure then trying to show a whole screen and mark it up with numbers.

Nachteile:

I wish the Mac and PC Came together so I didn’t have to buy one or the other. I may be wrong on that. I don’t recall because I only use a Mac but whenever I have a new client, I insist that they buy a copy of snaggit. I always just moan “ARGH” when I hear a client say why don’t you just use the clipping capability of Windows?

A very useful tool, well executed

Kommentare: My experience with Snagit has been very good. The software is stable and reliable. It produced high quality grabs and recordings and the annotation tools are very nice to have

Vorteile:

the built-in windows snipping tool is too basic for my needs. I most need the ability to record my screen with audio narration, and occasionally add graphic elements. I need the recording to be sharp and the movie file size to be manageable. Snagit does all this very well.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I can point to as a feature I like "least". The program does more than I need it to but I see this generally as a positibe

I'll never go back.

Kommentare: I've loved it from day 1. And I think the new features they've rolled out have actually been worth the upgrade price.

Vorteile:

Snagit has saved me SO much time in not having to have a conversation or write out instructions in more detail. People are generally visual in my industry so it really helps to give them an accurate idea of what I'm trying to get them to understand or do.

Nachteile:

I think my only gripe is probably just that extra split second that it takes for it to intercept the screenshot from MacOS's basic screenshot solution/key command. I am screenshotting ALL DAY every day, so that extra hesitation where it takes an extra beat to show up is literally my only gripe. And it's a small one.

Using Snag-It for Travel Itineraries

Kommentare: I have used Snag-It for many years before I retired. In work, I used it to document the software that I was proposing to write OR to document problems that occur in the software after it was written. It was a good tool to use to document a procedure to follow because I could capture a picture of relevant screens and comment on what happened or was happening. I also used it to prepare user manuals for the software that I wrote. Now in retirement, I use it primarily for travel itineraries.

Vorteile:

Ability to capture screens of information from the Internet. Although I use it for my travel itineraries, it has also come in handy when I want to document a procedure to follow for some task such as telling someone how to activate/deactivate my house alarm system (I can illustrate with pictures and words)

Nachteile:

I do not have any negative comments about it. I like it.

Great tool but lacks important file management functions

Kommentare: I was lookng for a replacement of Skitch. I'm not entirely satisfied, specially with the impossibility to import PDF to Snagit and edit it before re-export (Skitch does it); I also am frustated by the file management: no sub-albums to organize my stuff, tag management is bad...

Vorteile:

The multi-functions it proposes: video capture, screenshots, etc..

Nachteile:

I would like sub-albums to group shots instead of relying on ust tags. title and tag editing are a pain and can't be done on every instance: full size and thumbnail. Want some albums to sub-organize my stuff: tags is not an easy way to do it bevause in the timelinae, they are not always adjacent. Seems loke an obvisous function for heavy users. Can not manage PDF like Skitch: can't drag a PDF to Snzgot and edit it before re-export.

Grabit to Snagit

Kommentare: It has been a fantastic experience that keeps getting better as TechSmith keeps improving Snagit. I'm waiting for the introduction of AI into the application. :D

Vorteile:

I've been using Snagit for many years and it is now a main tool for capturing screen images and videos. My favorite functionality is panoramic screen capturing and now the scrolling capture functionality. It's awesome!

Nachteile:

Every once and a while I'll have an issue with capturing. I recently had an issue that prevented me from doing panoramic/scrolling captures. Somehow my settings changed and I had to reset permissions to fix it. All good now.

My number 1 tool!

Kommentare: This is by far my favorite software tool. I use it in every aspect of my job. I use it to quickly explain to others, capture configuration details, and produce technical documentation. I have purchased it to use on my personal computer as well.

Vorteile:

Snagit makes taking rapid screenshots easy and you can quickly mark them up as needed. I also find it very valuable how you can go through your library of screenshots to easily find old screenshots by app, website or other contexts.

Nachteile:

Depending on how your endpoints are deployed there can be some effort involved in setting up so the snagit library is synced properly.

Nachteile:

There isn't much to say about Snagit that is not good. It has always worked really well for me and I would say I am a heavy user.
