Simple, Powerful, and Effective Platform!

Vorteile:

I loved the video quality and the soft transitions in between speakers. The breakout rooms were also extremely popular, as attendees could go in and out of any of the rooms. Having a landing page with all of the event's information was also extremely valuable for attendees. Finally, my favorite function was the Lounge where you could connect with other event-goers with 5 minute phone calls... it was like speed networking but it was really nice to meet your audience face-to-face!

Nachteile:

Mobile users were not able to access the event, but I was told that they are working on resolving that issue. If mobile users can access the platform and event creators can access a backend to upload their own content, this would be the perfect platform! The backend is also supposed to be in the works.

The Bridge Conference Review

Vorteile:

I liked the way Tocca designed our experience, making it truly immersive. I liked the breakout sessions for LPs/GPs; the networking lounge was a really popular feature in our community and many personal connections were made. Overall, 163 introductions were made through the breakout room.

Nachteile:

The complexity of it was hard for certain users who aren't very tech savvy;

Moved our Events Virtual

Kommentare: It has been a good platform for our size events. No one platform has been able to provide everything an event planner needs, attendees need and glitches are always present for virtual events. I have been very happy with the overall improvements of the platform and for the price you receive a lot of extras without upsell.

Vorteile:

The platform allowed me to have a good venue for networking with the lobby feature, also the sponsor pages make a nice touch. The breakout rooms allow for us to have a in person feel for roundtables and pre event networking. We were also able to breakout into smaller groups. The ease of set-up with the Tocca team allowed us to make last minute additions to the event.

Nachteile:

The program is still evolving and we are seeing it grow from event to event with capabilities. Although there have been minor glitches, it is nice to see the software growing as out virtual events grow.

Great People, Great Product

Kommentare: Our overall experience was excellent.

Vorteile:

The platform was easy to use and we had plenty of support from the Tocca team. They were flexible in adding options we needed and they took a real interest in our event. They were helpful and listened carefully to our feedback and requests. Most importantly, our guests were able to participate in our event and we raised the dollars we were hoping to raise.

Nachteile:

There were a few functions we wished the platform had that it did not but Tocca is working on adding that functionality moving forward.

A reimagined event experience

Kommentare: Tocca was very helpful in guiding us in best practices from Day 1 - They are event experts who did a great job helping us think through the difference between in-person events and digital experiences.

Vorteile:

We love the fact that - the platform allows for 100% control of the attendee experience - We can have 1:1 adhoc networking for our attendees (A core value for our community)

Nachteile:

We needed vendor support to set-up, which is a small friction point. Their customer support and service is top-notch but I expect that they will have self-onboarding soon.

Successful Alumni Club Fair with Tocca!

Kommentare: We wanted to organize an Alumni Club Fair for our Alumni Community in the USA (~3'800 people). Originally, we had hoped to do such a Club Fair at our new facility in San Francisco but COVID changed that plan. We were looking for a virtual experience that would be the closest to the physical experience and allow people to go around across the different "rooms", to listen to a keynote/welcome note, and to have side conversations with the people they would meet at the event.
Our expectations were more than met and our audience provided us an overwhelming positive feedback. We were also delighted by the collaboration with the Tocca Team who customized the event and attended it. They were very professional and customer oriented and advised us on multiple aspects to enhance the experience and ensure the success it became.

Vorteile:

The platform mimics very nicely the activities people would have at a conference or at a fair. Hence, our participants were able to use the functionalities and advantages of the platform very quickly and instinctively. It allowed us to focus on the content and the design of the event without thinking to much about the platform.

Nachteile:

A few features could enhance the experience and the vast majority of them are already on the product roadmap (chat within breakout rooms, possibility to broadcast message across rooms,...)

An incredible experience

Vorteile:

An amazing interface and marketing tool. Love the ability to white label the application. The break out rooms enabled us to host multiple tracks at the same time. Live customer support and all worked awesomely.

Nachteile:

Very few to mention. One thing I did not like was there is a slightly differing interface between admin and guest and there is a small learning curve.

Great virtual conference platform

Kommentare: We planned to have an in-person Club Fair but moved to a virtual event given the Covid-19 pandemic. The Tocca team provided outstanding support throughout the entire process from planning the event, setting up the event and administering the live event.

Vorteile:

We recently used Tocca for a virtual Club Fair for our alumni community. Alumni joined for the keynote presentation and then visited individual rooms to learn more about specific alumni-led clubs. We received positive feedback about the platform and the ease with which people could move from one room to another and ask questions about clubs of interest.

Nachteile:

It would nice for the administrators to see the number of people and names of people in every room at any given time.

Best Virtual Conference Experience

Kommentare: My overall experience with Tocca was amazing, since the beginning of the engagement a lot of attention was paid to our vision for the event. The support during the event was phenomenal, a team was dedicated to the event for any last minute situations.

Vorteile:

Tocca was pretty easy to customize to our requirements as the event host. The networking lounge option was one of my favorites, as I knew who I was interacting with and I could chose who I want to connect with. This option made the interacting time more efficient, as compared to other other options available in the market for networking during the virtual conferences.

Nachteile:

The user experience could be a little bit more graphical.

Excellent For Virtual Networking Events

Kommentare: Overall, a great product and I would highly recommend it to organizations holding virtual events.

Vorteile:

This was our first event on Tocca and I was surprised at how easy and natural it felt to use, high points for user experience. We had speakers calling in from international locations and the connection remained strong throughout our event. It maintained high quality video, which was quite impressive. The breakout rooms were a hit and the audience members were able to participate with ease.

Nachteile:

It was a little hard to navigate between the breakout room and the lobby.

Great option for virtual events

Kommentare: The team was very responsive and supportive to the event we had planned and follow up was exceptional.

Vorteile:

We have some stakeholders who are not digital natives that appreciate the format which is quite similar to what they would expect in a physical event -- Tocca bridges them quite well.

Nachteile:

The version we used didn't yet have the chat functionality with attendees and presenters built in, so we had to log in as both an attendee and a presenter. I believe that has been since remedied.
