So easy to use!

Vorteile:

I'm not exactly a tech guru, but even an old insurance agent like me can fly through the quote and application process with HealthSherpa.

Nachteile:

I can't think of any improvements required. Haven't even had to contact customer service.

Everything Conveniently in one Place

Kommentare: I am really happy that I signed up with HealthSherpa. It conveniently stores data history and client activity for my records. Customer support is always super helpful when I call in for help. I was introduced to this software by an insurance issuer that I partner with and later discovered through Customer support that I could sign up for free and use the software on my own and get more access, so I did just that. This software has made my life so much more simpler. Before I had to go to every issuer website or portal directly to run quotes and compare for my clients. That took a lot of time. Now I have all the issuers on one platform. I am really pleased with this software.

Vorteile:

Very easy to use. Website design is simple and interactive. Integrates with all the companies that I am contracted with so I can view all the plans on this platform. Love the search application feature which allows me to update applications without going directly to the Marketplace website. Easily and quickly connects to Healthcare.gov if I need access and securely transfers me back to the software to complete applications. Running quotes are easy with alerts if information is missing with improves accuracy. It shortens the time to complete applications that are compliant with the ACA Marketplace Makes Lead management Easy- with an import feature to have all your clients information securely stored in one place

Nachteile:

You cannot re-use an email address that is attached to an old account in the system. So now I basically have two accounts.

Health Sherpa Review

Kommentare: I use HealthSherpa daily to quote and enroll clients. It truly makes life easier being able to have all these plans in one format instead of having to go to each carrier separately. Clients never seem to have trouble getting in to view the quotes and apply.

Vorteile:

I use this system daily, it makes quoting individuals easier and all the policies are right in front of you. I like all the filters we can put in to find exact plans for certain needs. This site is very user friendly. I do like that you can find just about any information for a certain policy just by clicking on that specific policy.

Nachteile:

Hospitals are very hard to look up, a lot of times it will show they are not covered when really they are. I also do not like that if we have a current client and we quote them for a new policy during open enrollment, that quote does not save in leads. Another thing I do not like is that when clients auto-renewed this year, the current plan terminated in the book of business and I have to go through and manually add them back. I also think doing the AOR process should be allowed year round.

Using HealthSherpa for enrollment

Kommentare: It has been a wonderful experience with HealthSherpa. I have tried other platforms and I still keep coming back to HealthSherpa. Time is money. And with only 45 days to enroll, time is a big factor.

Vorteile:

Using HealthSherpa during open enrollment is time saving, easy to use, consistent, tied in with the Marketplace, and retains all the information. The simplicity of the program is far beyond what you may think. I have used this format for approximately 4 years and it has improved every year. I love the option to send quotes to my customers and they can enroll themselves if they wish and I get the credit.

Nachteile:

I can not think of the "least" I like about the software. It does everything I need to enroll a customer, change a plan, and receive the 1095s at the end of the year.

Health Sherpa Fan

Vorteile:

This software is great...by entering 30 seconds worth of information, I can view all plans available for my client and give them plan details, pricing, and subsidy information. I love it!

Nachteile:

As mentioned above, at times what is shown on my dashboard is not up to date with what is shown on the marketplace or in a client's individual ACA member portal.

Vorteile:

Puts everyone in an easy format to keep track of. You don't have to log into healthcare.gov to see some info that you have entered to answer questions when they call. Make it easy to send out emails and keep track of accounts.

Nachteile:

system does not allow creating groups in the same applications like it does on healthcare.gov. So I only use it when I have a single person on the policy. If I have a family I will use Healthcare.gov so I have more flexibility for my clients needs to move one to a different plan than the others if we wish to. Plus on the good side it helps with the comp to the agent in this slim margin environment format we have now.

Vorteile:

The fact it is so user friendly and the ability that my customers can access their account by registering to save you time from questions they might have. also, HealthSherpa is always trying to make it easier for us to do our job. when you have a large book of business that is appreciated.

Nachteile:

the quoting tool could be a little better but I know that they have to abide by the federal regulations and that they have other options for customers that don't qualify for a tax credit..

Best Marketplace "Right Hand Man"

Kommentare: Each year I have appreciated the HealthSherpa updates. These people are dedicated to making this product better and better. I always feel like HealthSherpa is their prime objective, their main business .... not some side business an insurance broker came up with. Good JOB! You worked hard, even employing "extra" customer service reps during OEP. Thank you for that! Every experience was positive, kind and helpful. I look forward to next OEP as long as I have you guys as my "right hand man"!

Vorteile:

Organization & information access is prime importance. Before HealthSherpa, I had to spend so much time scrolling through files. HealthSherpa keeps all the pertinent information in one location. Also, moving a new client to HealthSherpa was very easy and seamless this year! That was a bonus!

Nachteile:

I would like to see a printable permission form that can be automatically emailed to the client in the batch renewal emailings. Also, during the LAST WEEK of OEP, there needs to be 24 hr chat/phone availability. Even if there is a cost for that service, I would be happy to pay.

Using Health Sherpa during Open Enrollment

Kommentare: Overall I love using Health Sherpa in my day to day business. Not only is it easy for me to use, but when emailing quotes to a client it is easy for them to understand and enroll as well.

Vorteile:

I love that it is easy to use. No longer have to port to healthcare.gov to update clients information. Client payments can be made for most carriers right though Health Sherpa. Can check the status of clients applications and upload any needed documents.

Nachteile:

It isn't always easy to get ahold of support. Sometimes there are errors when submitting a clients application, which causes you to have to port to healthcare.gov to get it done.

Kommentare: I have had a great experience with HealthSherpa. It is a lot easier to use than the previous software that I used.

Vorteile:

The software is easy to navigate and use. It is easy to learn the functionalities of the software. I am able to get access to the applications I need to complete my applications.

Nachteile:

Nothing to report at this time. There are minor tweaks that are not worth mentioning.

Time saving and accurate

Vorteile:

Easy to navigate and user-friendly. I use the system daily. I love it.

Nachteile:

Glitches. On many occasions, when you input the yearly income it doesn't take it immediately and says the person doesn't qualify, which is inaccurate.

What I liked most about this software is how much time I save helping individuals find the right policy. I am able to help many more individuals find the right plan in half the time it would normally take.

Why I like Health Sherpa

Vorteile:

This software takes the craziness away that I run into when trying to work through the Healthcare.gov website. It is easier to access and to enter the data. I can move through the site to the final payment and It Is Done!

Nachteile:

There are only a few things that I don't like in using the software and one of them is that the "Go Back" button is NOT at the top left of the page. I always forget it and hit the arrow then I lose all my details and have to start over. Fix it and make it large enough and a color that stands out for a button so it's easier to see!

Vorteile:

The automated processes that save me from the more cumbersome experience of dealing with healthcare.gov. Also, the ability to organized my book of business and have up to date information on all of my clients.

Nachteile:

Some newer features are a bit rough, but they make frequent updates and smooth them out very quickly.

Vorteile:

Health Sherpa has a clean easy to use interface. The graphics are clear. If you buy in Marketplace, it's a must go to.

Nachteile:

After I have sourced and reviewed a policy, I cannot share the link with my prospects. When they receive the link they are prompted to input MY info.

Super Easy to quote AND Enroll

Kommentare: This site has solved the problem of figuring out how to "easily" quote, send the quote and Enroll. This site makes it fast to do all 3. Even on my 1st app it was intuitive and that made it fast.

Vorteile:

The clear buttons for quoting. The layout of the opening page and the other pages. How easy it is to quote someone and email them the quote. Plus they can do the enrollment which saves me time, or I can do the enrollment. HealthSherpa makes me look professional.

Nachteile:

They could use a "Congrats, agent MC has successfully enrolled John Smith for a 1.1.2021 effective date", page at the end of the enrollment.

Vorteile:

The product allow us to get in quick in the application with little to none roadblocks, the transition is smooth when having a client on the phone. Also helpful to add my book of business to the line list.

Layout great and intuitive set up. Should not take much time to become indispensable in my daily management of our business.
