Easy formatting for online quizzes and reviews. Also, finding quizzes from other teachers and implementing into your reviews games is a plus.

Nachteile:

Nothing to report. Sometimes the login can be confusing for teenagers.

Go-to Engagement Platform

Kommentare: Quizizz is a solid choice for anyone looking for an easy way to gamify learning and to engage learners. Within minutes of loading the program, a user can find and begin playing a quiz. So easy to use, and the students really enjoy the competition and the memes!

Vorteile:

Quizizz is very user friendly and easy to use. One of the highlights of the platform is its library of user-generated content, allowing users to find existing question sets to match any content or curriculum. Creating games can take some getting used to, but all the existing content makes the platform accessible and easy to deploy.

Nachteile:

Creating games can take a little getting used to; it helps to have some prior experience with this kind of platform. However, with a little problem solving, this can be overcome.

Site Does not function properly and support is offshore and ineffective.

Kommentare: HORRIBLE. Cannot get team members to access the site due to issues with not receiving invites, no password reset, deleting account does not help. VERY poor execution.

Vorteile:

none. site never functions as featured.

Nachteile:

Few things work properly on this site. Tech Support responds one day later with no solutions, a "sorry" message filled with meaningless words. Off shore support!

Its becoming a bit of a cash cow.

Kommentare: I'll be using google forms, because its free and I can access results without paying through the nose.

Vorteile:

Its a decent platform, but the pay wall is just so high, its over $200 a year for a teacher in Australia.

Nachteile:

The price gouging, there is a cost of living crisis and teachers don’t get paid that well.

Great features but expensive

Kommentare: It was fantastic until my activities became useless without a paid subscription. I also had to delete several activities recently because it says I need the paid subscription to have them in my library. Once again, another jab to students and educators who can’t afford the paid subscription.

Vorteile:

I loved having my students be able to play games while learning. It was easy to keep track of their progress and they had fun competing against each other

Nachteile:

I used to be able to use the voice feature for free for my students who can’t read yet and created several activities. In the last couple years though I can’t use them without the paid subscription and I don’t even have a budget to use to pay for it.

I love the interactive games that help with learning. There are many questions with images and a large library to find all your quiz questions.

Nachteile:

You are limited unless you have a subscription.

Nachteile:

I wish I was able to remove or exclude students mid- quiz. When a student leaves to use the restroom or gets called out of class you end up having to "end" every question.

Quizizz, a nice tool

Kommentare: Good, for what it is intended to do, it works fine.

Vorteile:

The easiness of use and configure, basically, it is open and use.

Nachteile:

Maybe a report with the individual grades per question could be improved.

Kommentare: I have used quizizz every day for warmups, quick assessments and extra practice. It is bonafide.

Vorteile:

I love the changes you make that are so student centered. Powerups, etc. students love personal choice and you make it easy. I also love how the questions & answers are on the same screen so students who are learning remotely can see both. That is a huge plus over kahoot.

Nachteile:

I love this software. If it integrated with our grade portal that would be nice, but our grade portal is a sad little app that no one uses.

Wonderful alternative assessment tool!

Kommentare: I am constantly trying to get my co-workers to give quizizz a try. Many are hesitant to try something new in fear that it will be difficult to use and not student friendly. It automatically grades, allows for multiple attempts, generates a homework code and can generate an item analysis report. I use it very often as a formative assessment just before the test. This allows for an intervention with the student before the test. The option to email the parent a copy of the quiz helps keep the parents in the loop if necessary. Now with distance learning, i have an even greater appreciation for the software because it seamlessly integrates with google classroom.

Vorteile:

I love how this assessment tool can be student paced and the questions are seen on the individual electronic devices. Teaching students with a variety of learning differences, this allows for them to take the quizizz in their time.

Nachteile:

Honestly this software is almost perfect!...But I would love to be able to filter question type (MC, checkbox, FITB, poll, open-ended) when teleporting questions from other Quizizz users.

Excellent Review Tool

Kommentare: Quizizz is a very effective and engaging tool for learning that suits all my needs. I absolutely love how easy it is to use and how affordable it is. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quick, easy, and effective way to liven up the learning environment.

Vorteile:

What I love about Quizizz is how much of an interactive platform it is. It is especially useful during online learning because students are able to create questions themselves based on the presentations they give in class. Other students can then play the game to see how much they have retained from the presentations and teachers are able to see who paid attention and who did not. Other than that, Quizizz is a very user-friendly tool that makes learning extremely fun and it makes the classroom setting more lively because of the increased engagement during lessons. I use Quizizz mostly for reviews before exams and find it effective in refreshing students' memories about what was taught in class.

Nachteile:

There are few cons to be addressed, however, one that I would like to mention is that Quizizz makes it so players are able to be on different questions at the same time. This makes it easy for them to cheat during class reviews because if one person is quicker in answering a question, then they can pass the answer on to someone else who had not gotten to it yet.

Kommentare: I use the homework feature to assign work for students to do independently as well as the live sessions to do direct instruction. I like being able to set it so that kids can take it more than once and it gives me both scores so I can see what they got wrong the first time. This allows me to adjust my instruction.

Vorteile:

The best thing a out Quizizz is the options it offers. You can create or edit a wide variety of Quizizz on nearly any topic. You can assign it to be done asynchronously or do Live Quizizz with the students. You get full reports on how well they did which can be used for grading.

Nachteile:

I’m not sure if there is anything that doesn’t work well for my needs.

A Review about Quizizz based on the Perspective of a University Education Student

Vorteile:

What I like the most about Quizizz is it helps every teacher to make every class enjoyable and fun. It also gives the opportunity to make online classes not boring as there are features of this software that can be used as a game for the students that promotes healthy and positive competition, which leads to effective and efficient learning for the students.My favorite features include "multiple choice," "Reorder," "Match," and "Fill-in-the-blank" because it is helpful for recall or review session. I can create a quiz that will test the students to see whether they can still remember and fully understand those lessons that are taught to them so that I can see whether they are now ready for the next class. My other favorite feature is "Open-ended," since they are able to share their answers even though it is long. With this feature, I believe that it gives the students the impression that the class is inclusive and anything that is in their mind is welcome and heard.Lastly, "Poll" is also my favorite feature as it helps me to know what most of the class agreed with.In addition to all of this, there is also a good deal that they offer nowadays which is free upgrade to "SUPER," for 30 days in every successful invite of co-teacher. I am able to grab it once and it is worth it!

Nachteile:

What I like the least about Quizizz is I think they still do not have that much features. there are only a few variety of activities to choose from. But for me I can still use other software together with Quizizz to make lesson enjoyable.

Make Learning Fun

Kommentare: I really enjoy using this platform during my online classes and my students also enjoy it a lot. I would highly recommend to use this platform .

Vorteile:

It makes my online classes very interactive and I love the features provided by the platform to create quiziz i.e. I can add images to the questions and can create both open ended and close ended quiz. I can play quiz live in the class or can be given as assignment for homework. Different background themes provided by the platform are really liked by students

Nachteile:

I really don't like its background music because I am a regular user of this platform during my online class. But the good part is I can mute it from my end.

An Important Complement to My Teaching Tools

Kommentare: My overall experience with Quizizz is positive. I do appreciate it being linked to my Google Classroom.

Vorteile:

It was a pleasure to have been introduced to this product in August 2017 because since then I have been using this product in both pre-teaching and in assessment for my students in Grades3, 4, 5, and 6 at St. Cecilia's School and in my Religious Education Programme (CCD) at St. Cecila's Church. I use the multiple-choice aspect to assist my students in mastery the content and concepts in my classes and I use the open-end questions in final assessments for my older students. I sometime mixed the diffeent types of question to allow students with spelling and language issues to find more ease in their assessment. Thank you for developing this product. It has eased much of my stress in marking quizzes and in helping students take control of their learning. I complements the other tools that I use splendidly. Nachteile:

I find it challenging not to be able to edit a quiz after students have begun using it. Sometimes I may have an error that I did not detect before use and I would need to introduce a new code when a quiz was already in use. If a quiz has not be used, I can edit, but occassionaly, I do not identify mistakes until after students begin using the product.

Quizizz - The best tool to gamification

Vorteile:

I use Quizizz in practically all of my classes and also in activities outside the classroom. It is a fundamental tool to make students learn more in less time and with less effort. Quizizz transforms the student's work into a game and, in this sense, brings the school closer to the preferences of our young people, using the type of language that is familiar to them. There are many other tools that have a similar way of working, and I have already tried some of them, but I believe that Quizizz is the most functional and the one that allows you to get better results. In this sense, I can only recommend Quizizz to all my colleagues and I have done several training actions to publicize the application.

Nachteile:

I don't think Quizizz has any weaknesses, although it can always be improved, as with everything else. I think the introduction of the lessons was an asset, but there are still some small bugs. It would also be interesting if there was a possibility to assign different weights to each of the questions, in order to give more value to the most difficult answers. It will also be very interesting if Quizizz is available in my national language, Portuguese, as there are some fellow teachers who are not very comfortable dealing with foreign languages.

Best interactive learning platform

Kommentare: With covid and students not attending face to face meetings. Quizziz has really helped cover that gap. Instructors can interact with students through the application. The other good thing is gamification can be a good option if you need learners to master specific modules or topics

Vorteile:

The product has a very good interface which makes it very easy to use for both learners and teachers. The instructors have visibility into the learners reports which will help them identify where the learners need assistance. The gamification option is also an advantage as it encourages participation from learners.

Nachteile:

It is a great tool. I have no reservations for now. I enjoy what the product is offering especially with the Covid period with students learning from home.

Learning while having fun with Quizziz

Kommentare: Excellent, I am still using Quizziz and I have no complaints.

Vorteile:

Quizziz has free complete lessons with activities included about different topics. The assessment is accurate and educators do not have to soend a lot of time grading activities.

Nachteile:

Probably the lack of media resources, even the fact than we can finsd them in the pro version. I consider that they can include more media content.

Engaging for students

Kommentare: This has been a really useful tool to review for the standardized state tests with my students.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of this software. Students become accustomed to using it quickly. It is great as a bell ringer, as an introduction to a new topic and as a review. In fact, my students especially like using quizizz as their main method of studying for a test. As a teacher, I also appreciate that I can use their answers in order to gather and analyze data about students' strengths and weaknesses.

Nachteile:

I would like see more features for the quizzes. It woud be nice to be able to convert a quiz into other features easily. For example, I would like to assign questions in the form of flashcards or other game forms, as a way to study or a homework assignment. Quizlet has many of those features, but I prefer using Quizizz and my students do as well.
