I would highly recommend giving it a try.
Vorteile:
Padlet is a great multi-tasker - the Swiss Army Knife of digital collaboration. Many features that are the central selling point of entire services exist within Padlet as just another option for how you create your space. I use Padlet for sharing, working with teams, submitting ideas, and even to gather feedback.
Nachteile:
One downside of Padlet is the freedom and openness can mean that you have to be a bit more intentional about how you set up your space in order to get what you want. More options and flexibility is great! But it also means there's more to choose from and more to filter out.

Padlet as an efficient tool for CPD training

Vorteile:
Maximizing collaboration through Padlet in professional development, particularly in remote online workshops, allows for instant reactions and the ability to respond to article content. Interactive Padlet boards are revolutionizing traditional training sessions. The impact of Padlet on our Continuing Professional Development (CPD) experience has enhanced both the experience and the results. Moreover, building a strong growth community by engaging peers on Padlet for CPD training, as well as for courses on AI ethics and educational use, is proving to be effective.
Nachteile:
"The AI image generator may not be as efficient as other tools currently, but it is expected to become more effective with time. I appreciate the AI improvements made to Padlet creation.
We LOVE Padlet! YES We Do!
Kommentare: We LOVE using padlet in our library. Students are responding and sharing their ideas more and more each day. I love to see graphic representations and responses to other posts that may agree or disagree. I've led PD for teachers using Padlet to make lesson collaboration spaces for instructional practice use.

Nachteile:
I like that Padlet has 3 free boards but, $99 for a year's use is quite steep for educators. I sacrificed because our school is doing read alouds K-5 and we needed a way to capture student engagement throughout the lessons.
Padlet Discussion Board Use

Our school uses Padlet to post all digital information and resources for our students. The ability to connect Padlets allows for a lot of Flexibility. This year I noticed a new Padlet format discussion and I am using that in my online classes
Nachteile:
On the Discussion Padlet it would be nice to have a teacher view to quickly look at new posts and replies based on a time frame. So if we grade on day x and then do grading on day y we would just see a list of post and critiques made within thta time froma.
Padlet - A Digital tool fit for purpose and projection
Kommentare: Really extends and strengthens the value of using this digital education and communication tool.
Vorteile:
I am still learning about padlet, but for now I always wanted to make my webinar sessions come alive with a little narrative, relevant pictures, videos, student comments and most of all without discriminating special education needs students - SEN. Creating lessons with a touch of holistic learning using padlet as a digital education communication platform that makes interacting fun and engaging for the Class. Padlet allows us using the Universal Design for Learning UDL as an approach to Teaching and Learning that gives all students an equal opportunity. We are not leaving any learner behind.
Nachteile:
Difficult to create new padlets as it latches onto the previous padlets and make it difficult to separate the different padlets.

Very easy to use. I use it especially when i need answers to be shared in groups or individually.
Nachteile:
I always use an external qr code generator to share thr link with them as they use their phınes to reach the page.
My Educator's Appreciation for Padlet!
Kommentare: My Pros describe--I've used in my math and reading content teaching with 5th grade. I've also used extensively with my Adult ESL students! They enjoy using it, adding pictures and it enhances their writing skills. Love it!
Vorteile:
Many different ways to use for teaching strategies/writing/math, all content areas at all different levels, plus the captivating backgrounds! Please add more captivating backgrounds!
Nachteile:
Nothing! However, possibly, when you have updates to the different areas of the platform, it's a bit hard to adjust to the newness. Have used for years! Still want to use!
Padlet is excellent
Kommentare: Excellent! My students and conference attendees can add and use the product as I control when it is locked and unlocked! Love the QR code as well to share!

When other programs fail - Padlet will play resources!

Moving the icons into place; however, you can control this we different templates.

Padlet Student Engagement Tool
Kommentare: I use Padlet each week to help my students be engaged with our classroom content and share their own responses with each other. My students love to share on our Padlet Walls, and it's never a boring lesson when they get to post and read their peers' responses. Because my students love it, I love it too!
Vorteile:
I love that all students get to participate and can learn from each other throughout the day. Having unlimited Padlet access I can create interactive questions to help my students learn and be engaged, instead of just having them respond alone on a blank piece of paper.
Nachteile:
That is really hard to answer. I love everything about Padlet.

Having fun in what you do is a highway to success. Padlet has given me the freedom I need to take control of my surroundings as a Chief Operating Officer. This comes in hand with an advanced capability to organize work and achieve more. Files, assets and ideas are given the attention they require to drive the company goals to greater heights. Padlet has it all.
Nachteile:
Padlet has no cons in my experience. It is easy to use and maintain. Cost effective and very secure.

Kommentare: Padlet has changed the way I organize workshops and training. It's easy for everyone to access, has excellent security choices, and has helped me support learners across the globe for six years.
Vorteile:
Padlet simplifies organization and allows me to get feedback from my learners and workshop participants in whichever mode they choose, whether it be audio, video, or text. I love how easy it is to just whip up a new Padlet and have it available in just a few minutes. Oh, and I can't forget that I can convert my Padlet to a pdf, making it easy to share with anyone who wants to see everything at a glance. AMAZING!
Nachteile:
There really isn't any con that I can think of. Perhaps only that it doesn't come with a pony. (But if it did, I'm sure they'd think of some creative place for me to keep it!)

I love very much my Padlet!

I knew the Padlet in the middle of 2020 year and since this I use for profissional and personal purposes. Like teacher, I share contents, exercises and stuff with my students. As private purposes, I use like photos galery to share with my family and friends. When my father was sick my sisters and I share all contenst that we found to help us to understaind his disease.
I think that is a great tool for many purposes
Vorteile:
It´s easy to use, allow exposition of contents and interaction with the readers. It´s funny, humorous and versatile. It´s for free If you wish!
Nachteile:
Nothing! Believe me, I joke around calling myself "The Padlet crazy girl!", because I use Padlet for everthing!

Dread Rubric Writing No More
Kommentare: I work with pre-service teachers and Padlet is a wonderful way for them to experience technology they can use in the classroom. The new AI features are amazing and I am still working with refining my search terms. Students who are leery of technology have an easy time using Padlet and that is so helpful in easing them into other uses.
Vorteile:
I absolutely love the new rubric creation! This is a task I dreaded and now actually look forward to creating rubrics. Padlet takes my directions and generates a rubric to my specifications. I can then make any minor tweaks necessary and boom -my job is done.
Nachteile:
Honestly, what I like least is my inability to remember how to log in to our school site without having to open a pre-existing Padlet. That's all on me!

INDESPENSABLE
Kommentare: As a teacher, it is very helpful to be able to allow students to see & critique/score each other's work in writing and to document when assignments have been submitted.
Vorteile:
The best thing about PADLET is the ease of use by even the most tech-challenged students and colleagues.
Nachteile:
The need to purchase a minimum of 10 subscriptions for $1,000 is tough to budget for in these tough financial times for schools.

Padlet is an excellent way to provide educational resources to students

Communication For Everyone
Kommentare: Padlet is a great and well-maintained platform that also has a lot of pop culture references. It has its quirk to it, and that's something that I find really cool in a company/platform
Vorteile:
I like that you can make communities using padlets. My friend made one and it has around 12 people in my grade we all come together and post memes, help each other with school work, and just have a great time.

There aren't many cons. I like padlet. It's a great place for people of all ages.

Love the Engagement Factor
Kommentare: I really feel like Padlet engages my students with an easy to use platform. My third grade students love the social media feel of the message boards.

I like the ease of adding a Padlet to my Google Classroom. Students love to be able to post and comment on each other's thoughts.

The free version has limited saved padlets, so you really can save padlets from year to year.
