Kommentare: This service is hands down the easiest way to save and analyze any activity regarding your AWS environment.

Vorteile:

Whenever you need any metric to be audited regarding your AWS account or the services that run under it, just create a custom trail that fulfills your needs and CloudTrail will immediately start to save logs. You can inspect from permissions to SDKs.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to dislike. In the begging we had issues managing audit access for our stakeholders, later on, we started to export the logs, and everything run flawlessly after this.

Robust Cloud activity auditing and alert tool

Kommentare: Used to audit the activities on the cloud devices and alert for services on a threshold setup once breached. Storing of logs easily in S3. Amazing analytics provided by the trace logging.

Vorteile:

The smart feature of managing each device being run on the cloud and the alerting capability of the tool.

Nachteile:

The graphs could be better and integration with various other tools could be more versatile. Cost could be lower.

Best for security analysis

Vorteile:

With this software our organization is able to track history of changes that occurred in the AWS account and caused operational problem. It was easy to integrate. But for someone new in cloud services it will take sometime to figure out how things work. It made easy troubleshooting issues. Earlier it would take hours and then also we were not confident that this change caused error. We are happy using this services.

Nachteile:

Things that I feel missing is user interface because we need to send logs elsewhere to view them. Cost increases rapidly with multiple trails on full logging, this can be fixed.

Best Compliance and audit tool

Kommentare: Awesome, our SOX audits with KPMG have become much smoother after we started using this software

Vorteile:

I like the way in which AWS Cloudtrail helps in compliance with various SOX audit protocols which leads to higher governance standards. It also helps in troubleshooting issues with much easiness. Also it is very easy to keep all the records related to changes without too much effort.

Nachteile:

The Cost is on a higher side, if the cost is rationalized with other audit trail software's, it might become a market leader

Awesome tool for risk auditing of aws account

Kommentare: Using it for performing risk analysis and event history on the services being used in the aws account.

Vorteile:

Its governing ability and risk managing analysis

Nachteile:

Its cost effective. Some of the services are expensive and charges are more for auditing trails.

Vorteile:

The free layer of aws has a year, in that year there is a great opportunity to develop many projects, most of the functions of the amazon cloud are pay-per-use, which allows control over finances, plus this cloud is the most used in the world, so it is a software that has a great documentation and tutorials.

Nachteile:

For professional and employability use, certification is required, which may discourage some people, and its very broad portfolio can seem overwhelming.

Excellent auditing tool

Kommentare: Overall experience with cloud trial is good except the costing.

Vorteile:

The way it tracks the user activity is amazing. It is easy to use & integrate.Can track the api calls.

Nachteile:

Some times it is very slow , may be only for me or for all. And the costs is not direct.
