A really nice out-of-the-box job board

Kommentare: Our job board is our primary revenue source. It's basically an e-commerce platform selling screen real estate. It's integral to our business and we've been happy with Niceboard.

Vorteile:

I'm so glad we found Niceboard before building a job board from scratch. It already has all the features we need and they've steadily been improving the product.

Nachteile:

We were a very early customer and bumped into a handful of bugs. Customer support was very responsive and everything has been cleaned up promptly.

Excellent Jobs Board with Surprisingly Robust Feature Set

Vorteile:

High levels of customisability with the design elements. Very intuitive UI for back end config, clients, and applicants. Perfect for rapid deployment. Integration with Zapier to improve downstream processes and highly customised end user experiences. Very simple managing custom domains. Very reasonably priced given the extensive feature set.

Nachteile:

Some very minor features missing, however the feature roadmap is very exciting, and the dev team extremely responsive to feature requests.

Great product to start a niche job board.

Nachteile:

Some of the Zapier automation was tricky to navigate but help desk was reasonably responsive to help.

Super easy to set up in less than an hour and you can launch your job board within a day. Good customisation & monetisation options.

I wished the API was part of my plan, but you can upgrade to benefit from it.

Very good customisable job board solution

Kommentare: Our experience with Niceboard has been very smooth - it is very customisable so you can either just get your job board set up quickly, or really dive into the options that Niceboard offers, of which there are many - so it can take some time if you go through every option. Once our board was set up to our liking and handed over to the team that would use it, maintenance has been very straightforward on my part.

Vorteile:

Really easy to set up. Very customisable, pretty much any text across the whole job board can be changed to suit your needs/locality. Our tier has an API which works well and we are making more and more use of it. Probably the largest benefit I have noticed is that the customer support has been second to none, they are always very quick to respond, very helpful, and accommodating to my questions (mostly about feature requests - we have not encountered many bugs).

Nachteile:

We looked into using the Niceboard-Zapier integration, but this did not include as much functionality as the API, so we have switched to using the API now which meant putting a couple more developers on our project. It would be good to see the Zapier functionality expanded in future. The fields on the 'apply' form can be customised to an extent, but some can only be hidden via custom CSS. It would be good to have toggles on these fields to choose whether to display them or not, but I am sure that will come with time.

Clean and easy to use job board solution

Kommentare: I would not hesitate to recommend Niceboard to anyone with similar requirements to my own.

Vorteile:

The Niceboard platform makes it very easy to set up, and manage my job board. The level of customisation is just right and the design looks both modern and professional. I am in the process of migrating my second job board to Niceboard. The product/tech support is responsive and helpful.

Nachteile:

The candidate database/talent pool functionality is lagging behind the jobs functionality. This is particularly important for my website, so I'm hoping that additional functionality is added here.

Feature rich with excellent technical support

Kommentare: We're early days in deploying to our networks, but support where needed has been excellent and timely, and the range of functionality appears to be a great fit for our community.

Vorteile:

Ease of customisation, the ability to build a talent pool and management of job alerts. Above all, the quality and speed of technical support through setting up integrations has been excellent.

Nachteile:

Some documentation could be richer, otherwise we're early days in the roll out of the platform at this point.

Excellent software for job boards

The ability to customize a lot of features and capabilities by toggling on/off buttons in the back end.Liked the xml import feature, to import jobs from Sourcestack.Backfills jobs are ready to go right out the gate.

Nachteile:

I did not find any major cons with the software. Desired features - Improvement with the overall appearance on the home page.

When I search for roles, the search function works well, but when I delete what I searched for sometimes it tells me there are no roles.

There's a few areas that could have more options for customization, but I'm really reaching as there's a lot you can do with it.

Kommentare: It is the main source of data integration that allows us to have an easy to use job bank so that employers can set the requirements that are requested and be able to choose the best option.

Vorteile:

I found it to be a very useful tool to implement at work due to its multiple functions of use that facilitate a faster and more professional selection process, grouping all the information in the same system and being able to have everything clearer and at hand

Nachteile:

The only drawback I've had since using this tool is when I make the monthly payment, the system is too slow to process the payment and a bit confusing, but it's something that requires patience and availability of time to finish the process correctly.

Easy to use and fair prices!

I liked the ease of setup and the minimal design, which brings all functionality my marketing agency needs for our jobbboard.

No cons found yet, some feature requests are still in the pipeline, looking forward to the release dates...

Don't be fooled by the modest name, Niceboard is fantastic

Kommentare: The business model for our website centres around paid job ads (which is why Niceboard points to our primary domain instead of a "jobs." subdomain). We are still in the process of building our community so we have not yet turned on billing, but we've already benefited from the included functionality like API integrations, job backfill, and blog.

Vorteile:

Niceboard is extremely easy to configure. I set up our board in a single afternoon and then continued refining it over the next few days. This allowed us to focus on our core service and target community instead of the technical implementation. And the result looks slick and professional. The included blog and private board API are also indispensable.

Nachteile:

I would have loved to see the private board API included in the Essential or even Pro plan. That said, the Business plan is still of great value considering the potential ROI.Less importantly, the Niceboard app on Zapier didn't work out of the box, which would have saved me some integration time. I'm sure they'll improve it eventually.Lastly, would eventually like to see a few more features such as blog comments, blog posts in the newsletter, and more metadata in job posts (such as job sections, salary information, timezones, tags, etc.)

The look and feel of the board is very customizable, it's easy to manage employers and jobs, you can add custom pages and blog posts to Niceboard, and do so much more. Nachteile:

Perhaps my only request for Niceboard would be to add a Zapier integration, which I'm sure they'll do at some point soon. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Streamlined Interface with Excellent Customer Support

Kommentare: It's nice to be able to experiment with adding this board as a feature to an existing site centered around niche talent. I wouldn't have started a business based around a niche job board, but with how simple and fast Niceboard is to use and setup, it makes for a low-resource burning experiment. Time/energy are my most scarce resources and this package didn't eat up too much of either. If you're already running some form of community, I'd recommend temporarily adding Niceboard on to test out! It's a low-risk experiment with potentially high rewards.

Vorteile:

I really loved how simplified the sw is from the administrator's side. I've been working with a lot of other software meant to be add-on, customer-facing services that have been maddeningly convoluted to launch, so the ease of set-up with Niceboard was a dramatic difference! The front end is clean and simple, and the appearance is professional. I have no qualms about charging for ads based on how it all looks. The newsletter feature and the easy Stripe integration were wonderful to see, too! I haven't yet made a sale, so I can't comment on transactions themselves, but the setup was a snap. I had issues setting up this board under a subdomain, but only because I'm an idiot - not due to any fault of Niceboard. The customer support I received included more patience than I deserved. ;-) And the responses were fast and intelligent, too. Really happy with the support. It's all running beautifully at [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] now!

Nachteile:

There are a few extra features I'd like to see. However, without them, this board still offers great value. I'd like to be able to price different kinds of postings differently. For example, I want to encourage temporary, freelance postings by offering them at a lower price than fulltime permanent. As it stands, I have the "featured" ad as one price meant for one job type, and the regular ad at a different price meant for a different job type. But a visitor could potentially use one for the other purpose, which means I have to manually police the board. The coupons I'm told are a new feature, so they have basic functionality. (And that's great!) But in the future, I'd love to see some more controls with this part, too. One could be the option to make a coupon good for a 1-time use, or a limited number of uses.

Niceboard feels modern, smart, convenient, and I love the look

Modern, Clean, Easy To Use Job Board

Vorteile:

Extremely easy to use, fits well with the look I'm going for that resonates with my market, backend is very easy to use, categories and sub-categories are set up well, built for mobile, loads very fast even with a 1000+ jobs on it, constant updates and improvements added on a regular basis, Niceboard [SENSITIVE CONTENT]/staff vert responsive and excellent to deal with.

Nachteile:

My only negative comment is that I would like a feature that allows me to insert more of my company's branding onto the homepage. But this is something unique to me and the audience I am trying to attract (won't be a negative for everyone). (Also, there is no pre-built job board software that offers this feature anyway).

Job Board Software at its Best

Vorteile:

I've tried a few of the other Job Board Softwares and nothing compares to Niceboards offering You can build a clean looking job board in about 15 minutes, the UI/UX is the best on the market and the appsumo deal which is now gone was a steal. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] is alwys on hand to respond to any DNS set up questions and has a commitment to develop the product features further, it's good now but it will be even better in the future. Highly recommend!

The Perfect Solution for A Streamlined, Elegant, and Effective Job Board at a Reasonable Price

Kommentare: I was looking to add a reliable, self-serve job board to my community website as a value-add to my members and was discouraged to find that most were either too expensive for my use case and/or were overloaded with features I didn't need or looked crowded and unsophisticated. I looked into having one built but that was going to take time and attention that I really didn't have for something that was not my main member benefit so I was pretty thrilled to discover NiceBoard. It was exactly what I was looking for - a ready made job board that looked nice and that I could have running out of the box, with my own domain, within an hour.

Vorteile:

Niceboard's strongest benefits are that it's super easy to set up, intuitive for job seekers and job posters, elegant in design, and effective and reliable at a good price point. The developer is extremely responsive and the customer support is fantastic. I'm not really sure what more you could want!

Nachteile:

Elegant and streamlined, this job board is purpose built and doesn't have a ton of extra bells and whistles. I think that's a good thing but others might want more integrations or built-in customization options. As is, you can customize some aspects easily, including custom domain and if you're so inclined you can customize more with code.

The auto-fill location filters, individual job pages, company pages and built-in blog are a nice addition to my previous (Air)Table2Site set-up. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been very responsive and helpful with setting everything up. Would definitely recommend Niceboard to anyone wanting to set-up a job board!

The ease of use and the fact that it renders Google Jobs listings out-of-the-box (and has pagination to make sharing of vacancies on your website a lot easier).

Nachteile:

While some features and customization options were lacking when I first purchased Niceboard, [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been really helpful to find workaround and keeps on adding new features every month!

Very well designed system, with great support

Kommentare: Very straightforward and the support has been excellent; we had quick responses and help for specific local issues (including currency) which has been extremely helpful.

Vorteile:

Niceboard is very flexible in terms of setup, categories, types, locations and searching. The simplicity of no client or candidate login is awesome and overcomes many of the problems associated with running a job board. It's a very well designed system that provides good flexibility without complexity.

Nachteile:

The full functionality of system maybe limited compared to some products, although it does provide a lot of flexibility for anyone wanting to make the most of it. However, part of the value of the system is the simplicity and ease of setup, deployment and operation.
