Gem is an excellent tool for finding interesting candidates!

Kommentare: My experience with Gem and the CS team has been great. It has helped me a lot with candidates' responses to my outreaches, so I would recommend it.

Vorteile:

I sometimes have issues with boolean searches not yielding results. A simple refresh usually does the trick

Stay Away From This Product!

Kommentare: In 2021 product was good But in 2022 the product went completely downhill following mass layoffs Account Management is unreachable, and customer support do not understand the productUser Account can be terminated at any point with no explanation Over 100,00 candidates lost Millions of dollars in potential deals down the drain

Great Recruiting & Sourcing Tool!

Kommentare: Overall, Gem is a great tool for any company's recruiting stack. It's got a ton of features, great integrations, and they're backed by top tier VCs!

Vorteile:

I like that Gem has a strong database of email addresses that they verify, their reporting and analytics is very useful for identifying bottlenecks in the recruiting & sourcing process, reviewing top of funnel metrics for the team, and measuring template effectiveness when reaching out to candidates.

Nachteile:

I believe the user interface is a bit clunky and could honestly use a design make-over.

GEM it is

Kommentare: Gem is really good for recruitment and obtaining data for better outreach, especially in Recruitment and HR roles.

Vorteile:

This platform is really good especially in sourcing as it has automatic sequencing that will send follow-up emails which is time-saving. You could also integrate other software tools for seamless transfer of data.

Nachteile:

interface as it's a little confusing but when you get the hang of it then you get comfortable

Gem is the choice tool for your sourcing needs

Kommentare: Overall we are very happy with Gem has our primary sourcing and outreach platform. We are also happy with the support from the team who are quick to respond to any issues as well as being open to feedback and product enhancements.

Vorteile:

Gem is a very intuitive product and may not have the bells and whistles of some of the other sourcing tools in the market, but what it can do - it does really well. The ability to customize drip campaigns and A/B test your sourcing outreach is the primary reason that we chose Gem, coupled with the ability to send on behalf of leaders across your organization also enables you to be more successful in your outreach. What's more, Gem can accurately identify and source direct email contacts for prospects to allow you to connect with candidates easily.

Nachteile:

As with any data sources, the email lookup is not always going to be 100% accurate.

An easy tool to integrate and launch, Gem takes the manual effort of communicating with prospective talent and effectively automates and helps you improve through analysis and best practices.

Nachteile:

Being automatically alerted when contact information is updated.

GEM works!

Kommentare: My experience with GEM has been really good, once I was able to use the software for a while. It was a learning curve but the articles and questions to answers GEM provides are helpful. I do feel there could be even more clarification to questions. The answers seem limited.

Vorteile:

I like that this software is user friendly, and it helps tremendously in outreaches to candidates. The data and analytics provided really give you a great look into trends and patterns which help the whole sourcing and recruiting process.

Nachteile:

I do find in some areas, the process of sending outreaches could be more clear. Specifically sending emails, vs inmails, there are different steps after the process such as "TO DO's" that may be missed if you didn't know they were needed.

Downloading linkedin profiles is a pain. and the reporting could be better with certain ATS

Gem is the best tool for sourcing on the market

Vorteile:

Gem has made sourcing so much simpler, our ability to track our pipeline very simple, and I can look through my statistics and make adjustments based on the data. It's very easy to use, I've been able to teach my peers and hiring managers how to use and implement within 30 minutes and have them up and running! It integrates with Greenhouse very easily. The ability to nurture email campaigns to candidates is the best I've ever found.

Nachteile:

Occasionally the data can be incorrect, but that is one of the only cons about gem. I wish we could see the likely hood of a candidate to respond would be helpful moving forward. I also wish it would allow for an easier scheduling method for inmails and the ability to mark those in your response rates.

Gem is legit

Kommentare: Gem has made it incredibly easy to schedule multiple tailored messages to candidates and easily keep track of their responses. It allows me to share candidates and notes with hiring teams.

Vorteile:

I use the projects and sequences daily. They are an incredibly powerful way to coordinate outreach across myself and my hiring team. They are a force multiplier in terms of our outreach. Also the ability to visualize our talent pipeline is incredible.

Nachteile:

I honestly don't have complaints about it. I know that sounds made up. There are features I haven't used much, like prospecting, but it does most of the things I want from it seamlessly.

Amazing tool to source for candidates

Kommentare: I enjoy using Gem. It's a great tool that has kept on changing since early on. They keep making it better.

Vorteile:

- It's easy to send messages, engage with candidates by setting up reminders. Also, great analytics data.

Nachteile:

The only feature that is missing is adding information when a prospect accepts the invitation to connect on LinkedIn. It has to be added as an InMail instead of using the personal LinkedIn messaging service.

Life changing product for anyone in recruiting or talent acquisition!

Vorteile:

Scheduled sequences are the best! Love the automated follow ups.

Nachteile:

In the To-Do’s and Check for Replies, there’s no bulk action option to confirm “No Reply” for InMail response to trigger the email / later stages of the scheduled sequence

The UI is a bit janky, could be a prettier design.

Effective for Recruiting

Kommentare: Overall, GEM is a great tool to message candidates and build good connection with them. It's easy to use and has many great features. I was able to place some candidates thru GEM.

Vorteile:

- Messaging Sequence - Integrated to LinkedIn - Easy to import bulk data

Nachteile:

- not that user friendly for EU due to GDPR policy - some emails redirects to junk or spam folder due to different email domains in EU - seldomly gets angry replies from candidates I message - have to reinstall the extension because it does not response sometimes (ie. open or save candidates to the project)

A must have for Recruiters

Vorteile:

It saves SO much time! It saves you a lot of typing as well, so it saves you ergonomically as well! I love how you can set templates for projects, that they are timed, and that they stop when someone replies... it is very intuitive and smartly made.

Nachteile:

I would love a pop out of the person's LinkedIn page for a quick glance, rather than needing to open a whole new tab to see their profile from a sequence/project.

Turbo-charging Recruiting

Kommentare: Overall I feel like utilizing Gem in my sourcing/recruiting function provides me with a competitive advantage to help attract and engage candidates.

Vorteile:

Integrates seamlessly with ATS, LinkedIn, Calendly, etc. and provides excellent data on effectiveness of outreaches, candidate engagement with messaging (open rates, click rates, etc.), and qualitative sourcing information.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the "download as pdf" feature can be a little slow or buggy, but it's generally responsive.
