Vorteile:

If I cant afford to pay my phone bill that month. That I have an option to use this app and call and text anyone for free

Nachteile:

That you have to play games or watch videos just to get credit once you run out of free minutes. I dont always have time

Text ME on TextFree!

Vorteile:

One of my most favorite features is simply the sign-in process because once I create my account I can officially use that log in information to use on pretty much every single one of my devices. It's definitely less stress trying to find numbers and zero hassle with trying to find contacts that I use for TextFree itself; just give the app access to what it needs to fully operate and VOILA!

Nachteile:

The ads are NO JOKE; I feel like it creates a bit of a buffer when trying to open and close TextFree and while texting and receiving texts.

No support & Big Unresolved Bug in App

Kommentare: TextFree App keeps, during calls forcing the speakerphone on and I have been trying to reach out to them for a year now and they never respond. I tried all the trouble shooting possible on my end and nothing works. I can lay my phone on the table with out even touching it and the speaker phone turns on and off causing my ears to burst with pain. Contacting Samsung next but I really think it has to do with the developer of the app and maybe google....

Makes calls just fine but sometimes I do not hear it ring on incoming calls.

Nachteile:

Kommentare: I LOVE IT. IT IS HELPFUL IN MANY WAYS. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD YOUR CELL BILL FOR THE MONTH IT ALLOWS YOU TO STILL COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHEN NEEDED. IF YOUR BOYFRIEND TURNS PHONE OFF BECAUSE OF JEALOUSY PROBLEMS, AND IT JUST HELPS IF YOU NEED TO TEXT IN DISCUISE.

Vorteile:

WELL I LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH WHEN MY BOYFRIEND WOULD GET INTO MY PHONE SERVICE AND TURN MY CELL PHONE OFF AND HE WOULD NOT TURN IT BACK ON. WELL HE DID NOT KNOW I HAD TEXT FREE AND STILL WAS ABLE TO GET AHOLD OF EVERYONE I NEEDED TO TALK TO,

Nachteile:

WELL THE QUALITY OF AN ACTUAL VOICE CALL IS NOT SO GOOD ON THIS APP. AND YOU HAVE TO PLAY GAMES AND DOWNLOAD OTHER THINGS THAT ALLOW THIRD PARTY COMPANIES ON YOUR EMAIL AND PHONE.

Super easy

Kommentare: I enjoy using it to connect with others. It’s quick and easy to send a text message or make a call to solve a problem.

Vorteile:

This is the easiest product/app to use. You can call or text and get your own number. The quality of the calls is okay and could be better. Texting and everything else is excellent! You can set up notifications as well.

Nachteile:

One thing I would change is the call/audio quality. It can use some improvement. It’s hard to complain when it’s a free app. After your allowed time then you have to pay for minutes.

Kommentare: It's been a pretty good experience never had any problems out of it.

Vorteile:

It's free and you can choose your number and change it whenever you want and you can set it to your own preferences.

Nachteile:

You can't get verification codes without paying for it.

My TextFree Experience

Kommentare: I love using this app, if my phone ever is cut off, I always use this software as a backup number just in case, it’s free & easy to use, very beginner friendly, you can’t go wrong with it honestly

Vorteile:

I love how it’s a free mobile number to use at any time, the minutes are cheap to purchase or they might let you watch free ads for free minutes

Nachteile:

I don’t like how the number expires from inactivity, if it were a lifetime number I can keep then it’d be perfect but you still get a free mobile number which is still a plus

Virtual Texting App

Kommentare: Overall, I think Text Free is a good tool for what it does. They do promise free peer-to-peer texting, however, this can be accomplished by any number of apps today. In the end, not of much use to me.

Vorteile:

I like how this app will allow you to choose a phone number, and have a virtual account for phone calls and text. It works well for sending an receiving of messages and is free for peer-to-peer texts with and initial limit of 60 talk minutes. The interface is relatively simple.

Nachteile:

The interface seems to have a somewhat "cheap" feel to it. Not a lot of colors and has large ads all over. To remove the ads, you'll need to pay the $4.99 per month. Also, the free version does not allow verification texts. This was a big let down as it was the main reason I became a user.

Vorteile:

I love how it is straight to the point as soon as you download the app.

Nachteile:

I don't like the ads that place all the time.

You can keep your contacts organized and it really is easy to use. Would recommend using it. Try it!

It's great to have an online texting option. When you are working on a computer this is really convenient

Text Free

Kommentare: This was a useful software experience, until it went unused, and I lost the number.

Vorteile:

I like that it is free text messaging software, and that it lets me create a personal phone number (unlike web based texting that does not let you keep a number). I sometimes used this number to mask my personal phone number, for security reasons.

Nachteile:

When I stopped using it for a month or so, I lost the number.

TextFree is a scam

Kommentare: My impression it's a scam.

Vorteile:

Seemed like a great service and the concept of a text number to use for business marketing is appealing.

Nachteile:

As soon as I installed TextFree demanded a recurring payment of $9.99 per month. That contradicts the marketing presentation of this product. I would have considered a subscription if the product were useful and reliable, but the claim of free service and lack of any kind of free trial to use the product is a huge turn-off. Uninstalled.

It’s free and is useful in a pinch

Earn Call Credits, but first - this ad?

Kommentare: Scale of 0 to 10, i'd say a 6, the earning credits was a major knock down for me & then ads.

Vorteile:

Free to download. Any app that helps keep my phone from going crazy all hours of the night, im able to just mute one all and go with my day. Helps me keep my 9 to 5 and my vida loca apart.

Nachteile:

I dislike the fact i have to earn credits in order to make calls. That was a BIG thing for me. In my field, i don't have the extra time to earn points i have to clean.

Text free as an easy option to start business texting

Vorteile:

we started at the free level. It was super easy to start and helped front office staff have to answer less calls.

Nachteile:

I did not see an automatic integration - that being said I did not pay for any upgrades so it may be there

Handy

Kommentare: Pretty good overall experience. An app that works as expected. Enough to get the basics done.

Vorteile:

It comes in handy when I'm in areas without reception and need to contact a client.

Nachteile:

Sometimes glitchy and the app crashes but it's an easy fix and hasn't happened since reinstalling

Kommentare: I will no longer be using TextFree. If the messages are not sending, its pointless to use.

I like that this software is free. No better price then that!

Nachteile:

When using mass messaging, it shows everyone's number and everyone gets the replies. Not reliable, messages don't always send.

Vorteile:

Great for students and adults alike. Easy to use and makes it easy for you to keep in contact with people you don't really want to have personal phone number or students to communicate for projects.

Nachteile:

Nothing worth mentioning, all and all works exactly as it should.

It has been right product/software. Easy and simply designed. easy communication with this software. Great.
