If I cant afford to pay my phone bill that month. That I have an option to use this app and call and text anyone for free

Nachteile:

That you have to play games or watch videos just to get credit once you run out of free minutes. I dont always have time

The advertisements. It could be invasive or inappropriate.

No support & Big Unresolved Bug in App

Kommentare: TextFree App keeps, during calls forcing the speakerphone on and I have been trying to reach out to them for a year now and they never respond. I tried all the trouble shooting possible on my end and nothing works. I can lay my phone on the table with out even touching it and the speaker phone turns on and off causing my ears to burst with pain. Contacting Samsung next but I really think it has to do with the developer of the app and maybe google....

Vorteile:

Makes calls just fine but sometimes I do not hear it ring on incoming calls.

Nachteile:

Textfree essential

Kommentare: This was my go to texting app for years . There is a lack of stable cellular service where i live, and being able to still call and text via wifi has been outstanding

Vorteile:

It allowed me to freely communicate and text even without cell service.

Nachteile:

Had a bit of katency issues when connecting calls.

Text free is a life saver

Kommentare: Excellent! I’ve had to use this app multiple times over the years. Easy as signing up with your email and picking a number. Sometimes a previous number I’ve used will be an option and my old messages are actually still saved so that’s kind of neat.

Vorteile:

I don’t know how many times I’ve been without reliable cell service provider or just been plain broke and TextFree is the most hassle free way to get a dependable phone phone number that’s available practically anywhere and it’s free.

Nachteile:

The option to get a verification text was kind of a let down so I couldn’t use it to verify emails or log ins however now with the premium version that amenity is provided

Convenient wifi texting

Kommentare: Overall, TextNow was a really nice experience and I do recommend.

Vorteile:

What I liked about TextFree was before I had a job so I could pay for phone service, TextFree gave me the perks of being able to text and call as long as I was connected to wifi. I know that they now offer actual service plans with sim cards as well.

Nachteile:

What I liked the least about TextNow was,back when I used it, the fact that to use it I had to be connected to wifi.

Great APP for Phones

Kommentare: It was a great experience. I enjoyed this app. I was able to call and text freely without any barriers.

Vorteile:

TextFree was the highlight of my childhood. I enjoyed the text free app. I was able to talk to my friends without any problems.

Nachteile:

There was nothing I didn't like about this app.

Good service have to pay for codes to be sent which I don't like

Kommentare: It's been a pretty good experience never had any problems out of it.

Vorteile:

It's free and you can choose your number and change it whenever you want and you can set it to your own preferences.

Nachteile:

You can't get verification codes without paying for it.

Great for students and identity protection

Kommentare: I love using textfree to message people and use alternative numbers. 10/10 would recommend

Vorteile:

I love having this available to text people that I may not want to use my regular number with.

Nachteile:

I use the free trial version so the ads can clutter the main menu. Other than that the app is great and so easy to use.

My TextFree Experience

Kommentare: I love using this app, if my phone ever is cut off, I always use this software as a backup number just in case, it’s free & easy to use, very beginner friendly, you can’t go wrong with it honestly

Vorteile:

I love how it’s a free mobile number to use at any time, the minutes are cheap to purchase or they might let you watch free ads for free minutes

Nachteile:

I don’t like how the number expires from inactivity, if it were a lifetime number I can keep then it’d be perfect but you still get a free mobile number which is still a plus

Privacy nightmare

Kommentare: Lack of privacy is unacceptable. Why use spyware?

Vorteile:

Free, but not deserving of payment since it is spyware.

Nachteile:

The company monitors texts, and probably calls, so no privacy.

Vorteile:

I like that u can text free without any hassle or interruptions

I honestly don’t have any complaints only compliments

we started at the free level. It was super easy to start and helped front office staff have to answer less calls.

I did not see an automatic integration - that being said I did not pay for any upgrades so it may be there

TextFree is a scam

Vorteile:

Seemed like a great service and the concept of a text number to use for business marketing is appealing.

Nachteile:

As soon as I installed TextFree demanded a recurring payment of $9.99 per month. That contradicts the marketing presentation of this product. I would have considered a subscription if the product were useful and reliable, but the claim of free service and lack of any kind of free trial to use the product is a huge turn-off. Uninstalled.

Text ME on TextFree!

Vorteile:

One of my most favorite features is simply the sign-in process because once I create my account I can officially use that log in information to use on pretty much every single one of my devices. It's definitely less stress trying to find numbers and zero hassle with trying to find contacts that I use for TextFree itself; just give the app access to what it needs to fully operate and VOILA!

Nachteile:

The ads are NO JOKE; I feel like it creates a bit of a buffer when trying to open and close TextFree and while texting and receiving texts.

Kommentare: I LOVE IT. IT IS HELPFUL IN MANY WAYS. IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD YOUR CELL BILL FOR THE MONTH IT ALLOWS YOU TO STILL COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY WHEN NEEDED. IF YOUR BOYFRIEND TURNS PHONE OFF BECAUSE OF JEALOUSY PROBLEMS, AND IT JUST HELPS IF YOU NEED TO TEXT IN DISCUISE.

WELL I LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH WHEN MY BOYFRIEND WOULD GET INTO MY PHONE SERVICE AND TURN MY CELL PHONE OFF AND HE WOULD NOT TURN IT BACK ON. WELL HE DID NOT KNOW I HAD TEXT FREE AND STILL WAS ABLE TO GET AHOLD OF EVERYONE I NEEDED TO TALK TO,

Nachteile:

WELL THE QUALITY OF AN ACTUAL VOICE CALL IS NOT SO GOOD ON THIS APP. AND YOU HAVE TO PLAY GAMES AND DOWNLOAD OTHER THINGS THAT ALLOW THIRD PARTY COMPANIES ON YOUR EMAIL AND PHONE.

Kommentare: This was a useful software experience, until it went unused, and I lost the number.

Vorteile:

I like that it is free text messaging software, and that it lets me create a personal phone number (unlike web based texting that does not let you keep a number). I sometimes used this number to mask my personal phone number, for security reasons.

Nachteile:

When I stopped using it for a month or so, I lost the number.

Kommentare: I enjoy using it to connect with others. It’s quick and easy to send a text message or make a call to solve a problem.

Vorteile:

This is the easiest product/app to use. You can call or text and get your own number. The quality of the calls is okay and could be better. Texting and everything else is excellent! You can set up notifications as well.

Nachteile:

One thing I would change is the call/audio quality. It can use some improvement. It’s hard to complain when it’s a free app. After your allowed time then you have to pay for minutes.

It’s free and is useful in a pinch

Kommentare: It was useful when we are deciding what local cell company to switch to after moving to a new state.

Vorteile:

It does not cost anything at all to use.

Nachteile:

Not really a downside; it is either very useful or redundant depending on the situation.
