Vorteile:

Whiteboard ist das perfekte Tool um Präsentation zu halten und freihand auf zu zeichnen.

Nachteile:

Manchmal hat das Whiteboard paar Macken und funktioniert nicht immer flüßig

Whiteboard ist eine echt super Anwendung, man kan mit mehreren Leuten zusammenarbeiten! Man kann frei zeichnen egal ob Pen,Finger oder sonstiges. Es funktioniert alles ruckelfrei. Und man muss nicht immer das Whiteboard fotografieren man kann es direkt speichern, auf dem Tablet oder Handy. Einfach nur praktisch

An excellent collaborative and educational tool

Kommentare: Microsoft Whiteboard is an excellent service that complements the entire Microsoft educational and professional suite very well, for educators and students it is a blessing to have a tool like this that works so well. In conclusion, it is an excellent program that, regardless of how you use it, will always be useful to you.

Vorteile:

With virtual classes this tool has become indispensable, it is an interactive whiteboard, and it may sound very simple, but there is a lot of work on the proper functioning of this tool. Integration with the entire Office ecosystem is great, especially with Microsoft Teams. For collaborative work it's great, the whiteboard works fast, it has a lot of options to customize writing and many different users can write at the same time. Whiteboard is a tool that is here to stay because it is part of the present and future of virtual collaborative work.

Nachteile:

I have not had any failures with Microsoft Whiteboard, everything works correctly, maybe sometimes in meetings it can slow down, but it is normal when you deal with meetings with many users, as was my case.

Best to pair with remote software

Kommentare: We are very happy to use it at the first, but after a while we start to see there are some lacking with all the feature that are offered by this software. I have opted to switch to other digital whiteboard software that can fit our work needs better.

Vorteile:

Microsoft Whiteboard is best to be paired when me and my colleague are having an online weekly meeting or online ideas sharing. Sketching ideas and project process and idea map is very easy to do with this whiteboard and help us to interpreted our ideas into visual.

Nachteile:

Microsoft Whiteboard is lacks of details in the feature and the tools. Like the shape option, they only has basic shape and if i need any other shape, it has to be drawn manually and it is very time consuming to do it all from the start.

The Best Diagram Creation and Collaboration Tool

Vorteile:

I like many features about Microsoft Whiteboard. I can collaborate on the same whiteboard with my team. It is easy to use, real time collaboration and can use window and ios and can access with different devices. If you are looking for like a real white board, I recommend Microsoft Whiteboard is the best choice.

Nachteile:

I don't have much about microsoft whiteboard. But, sometimes it lack of some editing. It may be my connection.

Half-baked and feature-free

Kommentare: For a product that is ostensibly part of the Office 365 suite, Microsoft Whiteboard is probably the weakest and least useful product that I've worked with so far. Yes, it's easy to create a new whiteboard; yes, you can even create a (long, ugly, hard-to-read) URL to share your whiteboard; and yes, you can even export your whiteboard as a PNG. But those aren't features--those are basic requirements--and Whiteboard barely manages to pull even those off.

Vorteile:

The core features are competently executed--it's mind-numbingly easy to create a new whiteboard, and there is no confusion possible as to what the (very few) available tools in the toolbar do.

Nachteile:

The list of missing features is extraordinarily long, so I'll focus on the most glaring omissions and limitations. The tool palette is quite limited; while at first glance it appears there are four different "pens," they are in fact just four copies of the same pen, all of which can be configured only minimally (width, from "1" to "6," and your choice of 15 colors). There is a highlighter tool which has similar configuration limitations and doesn't even include opacity adjustment. The eraser tool is overzealous; one errant click and giant portions of your diagram vanish. The text tool has one pre-set "handwriting" type font that I find to be practically illegible; this can't be changed. There is also a redundant "note" tool that mimics Post-It notes, but it is unclear what the purpose of these notes is intended to be, since there is no visibility control toggle, etc. The drawing experience is awful as well; the interface automatically attempts to "smooth" your drawings (you can't disable this either!), meaning that any fine details that you draw that Whiteboard interprets as errors are obliterated.

Visual Learners Dream

Kommentare: I am super glad this tool is available and does not require additional cost to use.

Vorteile:

I really like how easy this tool is to use, you don't need to be super techy to learn how to use this tool quickly. I train a lot of people with a wide range of different roles in our org and this has been a tool i am heavily dependent on. Training for people especially visual learners have been proven effective with the help of Whiteboard.

Nachteile:

There is nothing to not like. It's free to use.

Simple and Easy to Use. Low functionality but great for what it is.

Its simplicity. It's a tool that I've found I like because I can use it across devices, especially with SSO.

Nachteile:

For some reason, I find it a little bit finnicky. Despite its simplicity, I feel like I should be able to use it with a little bit more intuitiveness.

Good collaborative tool for meetings.

Kommentare: Using MS whiteboard is intuitive and creating a whiteboard even for just one meeting is simple and quick. During meetings, I customize the board, which makes it easier for me to recall content during meetings.

Vorteile:

Firs of all virtual whiteboard replaces physical boards that were used in offices and now should be digitalized in the home office era. I really like this because whiteboard in general makes meetings and collaboration more engaging. Virtual meeting in general may be boring when only audio or users on cameras are visible for participants. Adding whiteboard to the meeting may change it form drastically improving it significantly. Users are more likely to engage in meetings when they have a visual presentation and can see the issues being discussed in a visual form.

Nachteile:

Templates and visual form of MS Whiteboards are not a very good quality. I feel that it should be improved..

Great tool!

Vorteile:

I love the easy convenience of having a virtual whiteboard whenever I may need it especially for online events or appointments ive had scheduled.

Nachteile:

Everything was great and so far there was nothing that I didn't like.

Perfect for classrooms

Vorteile:

It has a very simple design which is easy to use. You can change tools easily and navigate boards quickly.

Nachteile:

It lacks a lot of the other features that other whiteboards have, for example, the collaboration isn't great unlike it's competitors like FigJam. It is good mainly for use in classrooms as an okay replacement for a dry-erase board.

Collaboration within Teams

Kommentare: It is easy to share and collaborate on ideas with colleagues during a Teams meeting.

Vorteile:

I especially like that, during a Teams meeting, you know that everyone is looking at and using the same board. Although other whiteboard tools are a bit more polished, the full integration of Microsoft Whiteboard as part of the M365 world is really useful.

Nachteile:

As I said, it does lack a little bit of the polish of some other dedicated whiteboarding tools, but it has come on quite a lot in the last few months. I can see this improving to their level within a year or two.

Innovative whiteboarding tool for Microsoft users

Kommentare: Microsoft Whiteboard is a highly flexible tool for creative collaboration and brainstorming with your hybrid team members, especially during Microsoft Teams calls. Despite the occasional performance issues, it provides everything you may need to exchange your ideas in a visual manner.

Vorteile:

My project team often uses Microsoft Whiteboard whenever we are on MS Teams call with our clients or during Agile sprint retrospective meetings. It makes the discussion session really collaborative, creative and fun. Microsoft Whiteboard provides endless canvas where you can exchange your ideas using so many diagramming options like colored markers, pens, shapes, sticky notes, text, reaction emojis etc.If multiple team members are working on the same canvas at the same time, you can see their name tags along with their pointers, which makes it super easy to know who is sharing what information. However, if you want the team members to enter their comments/ideas anonymously, you can also control that (for example, during sprint retro calls).I really enjoy using Microsoft Whiteboard.

Nachteile:

You need to have a Microsoft account in order to use this tool, which can be a roadblock, if you have clients joining in Microsoft Teams call as a 'guest' (e.g. they are joining from outside Microsoft suite or not signed in).Sometimes there is a glitch or significant lag when multiple team members are working on the same whiteboard/canvas simultaneously. Also, I would love to have more options in the pre-built template library of Microsoft Whiteboard.

We can use this whiteboard in our Microsoft Teams meeting, also everyone in the meeting can also use this board can draw or write.

Nachteile:

Sometimes its not showing the person name who access the whiteboard.

Microsoft Whiteboard is an amazing teaching tool.

Kommentare: I will definitely continue to use whiteboard in the fall with my students. It is an easy way to show math problems virtually and then share the notes with the students. I really enjoy using it.

Vorteile:

I love how versatile the whiteboard is. It has many different colors. It has tools that make sharing notes with my math students easy. For example, if you want to draw a circle, it will auto correct your circle so it is perfectly round. There are wonderful templates as well as backgrounds for your pages. It is simple to use and worked well over Zoom.

Nachteile:

The learning curve was the only thing I didn't like. It's pretty easy to learn the basic tools of whiteboard on your own, but if you want to use everything the whiteboard offers, there are many tutorial videos online.

Ideal for your virtual meetings

Kommentare: If you wanna use it in your professional world, then go for it. It will help you in meetings and presentations.

Vorteile:

It is easy to use and there is no better way to express your ideas than by writing them on a MS Whiteboard. It is a digital whiteboard that helps us to create drawings, write text, insert images, explain anything we want, etc. I use it for my presentations and I recommend it 100%.

Nachteile:

Some problems with inserting icons or resizing notes. I didn't have any big problem, nor any bug.

Using Microsoft Whiteboard while teaching english

Kommentare: I would really recommend this software to everyone teaching english and other subjects online.It makes everything very clear for your students!

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to create a board,and my students can feel like in school even online. It´s the best thing.I am using xp-pen and it works amazing together.

Nachteile:

I think it is missing some options,for example options for personalizing your pen.

Visual Collaborations

Kommentare: Whiteboard has been extremely beneficial in the sudden onset of remote work. We've used it for collaborating and sharing concepts for web design, product development and project planning.

Vorteile:

The features are simple and easy to use. Within Teams meetings, it becomes a virtual whiteboard for organizing, sharing and explaining ideas visually. This allows more teammates to participate and understand concepts being discussed.

Nachteile:

Becoming fluent in navigating inside Whiteboard was annoying while I was learning; it wasn't as instinctual. For example, if you don't remember the size of the box around the text, you might accidentally click to move the screen and end up moving the text box instead.

MS Whiteboard: My drawing brings all the employees to my board!

Kommentare: Over we rate this 9.5/10. Definitely being picky with the colors. Not much bad things to say about this. So check this out if your office engages in projects like this using a whiteboard!

Vorteile:

This product is wickedly AMAZING. Being able to share your board in real time and have it update for the other employees as fast as it does is very impressive. The amount of functions it has is also very impressive.

Nachteile:

Main complaint. Low choice for colors. Come on, its 2023 we should be able to select a color wheel or something to broaden the color choices for coloring and stuff.

Great for quick meetings and collaboration

Kommentare: We loved this tool and made brainstorming sessions fun. and then the ability to share throughout our Office 365 environment with ability to build on and expand the boards is great!

Vorteile:

We used with an actual smartboard and had the ability to draw on the screen and automatically save presentations and brainstorming sessions to Office 365.

Nachteile:

Learning curve to a little bit as well as setting everything up with the actual smartboard.
