Kommentare: I start using it to learn french and in the begining it help me a lot because i was only studying vacubalary. But in the with the passing of time when i wanted to do more complex card i can't so i have to use other software for that poruse

Vorteile:

All the features are easy to use. I love that they include the funtion to search other users study sets so you can use it too. Also all the study modes that it have really help you changing your study type.

Nachteile:

A lot of the most interesting features that it have are restricted to the premium version so for simple study cards its okay but if you want something more elaborated ones you will be very limited.

Quizlet’s quick engagement

Kommentare: Overall this is a classic tool in my teaching toolkit. I use it for teaching vocabulary, revision study skills and gamifying learning.

Vorteile:

The ability to share and customise sets. Students can create their own or I can modify existing sets. The revision activities are engaging and the team options inspire collaboration.

Nachteile:

It isn’t as aesthetically engaging as some other quiz sites for young people.

Kommentare: My overall experience is 10/10. I highly recommend using this platform to study.

Vorteile:

I use it to study for my Music Therapy Exam. It has several testing options that people upload.

Nachteile:

There are no cons. When you have the yearly Subscription; you have access to everything.

Kommentare: I use it daily and I have had over 2000 sets. I am enjoying it a lot as a teacher and we are using in our online school now. All students love it. A few might not learn something effectively based on our empirical research findings but this is around %5. %95 learn, have fun, encouraged and inspired by Quizlet

Build Your Testing Confidence with Quizlet

Kommentare: Quizlet was such a help to me as a study guide for my Medical Assisting recertification. I had not been to school in 30 years, so the practice tests gave me a chance to practice test taking again!

Vorteile:

Such a great tool to help study for an exam!

Some of the tests practice tests were too easy.

Kommentare: Their customer service can only be accessed online, not through phone. They do not provide good customer service.

There is nothing positive about an app that refuses to let you cancel membership.

Watch out...they have you on autorenewal and will not refund your money. This is a scam app.

Incorporate Collaboration

Kommentare: Quizlet is a great tool that allows me the learner to learn and retain new knowledge for a reasonably low price.

Vorteile:

In Quizlet, there are many modes in which the learner can study a topic in various methods of learners

Nachteile:

Anyone is allowed to create a study set and there is no bot that reviews and corrects the information given. This can create misinformation for the learner when utilizing the study set on Quizlet.

Quizlets

Kommentare: I absolutely love the site, it’s a real big help for kids, teens and anyone who’s in school honestly, it’s a nice study guide and cheat sheet if you have take home tests or tests online.

Vorteile:

I like the functionality of it and how helpful it is on tests and quizzes, you can use it for studying, it’s very versatile and they have tests/quiz answers for literally ANY test given in the US.

Nachteile:

There are some tests given by instructors that don’t have all study questions/answers on Quizlet or they might not have them in order or the test you have, you might have to scroll through a few questions just to get to a question/answer you’re looking for

Quizlet Doesn't Deliver

Kommentare: They cater to the students/teachers who use the free Quizlet. The software is cumbersome. They develop new features but haven't bothered to upgrade the unsophisticated systems that they had. The new features offer little benefit to me. Some of the changes that have been made make if more difficult for me to maneuver back and forth between classes and students. The few things I do use don't even work as well as they did when I first subscribed.The interactive features seem much more geared to elementary students. It seems almost impossible to contact them for help. The help offered via the bot, is time consuming and not customer friendly. I understand this for everyone using it for free. I don't understand paying for a service that is values customer support so little.

Vorteile:

I like that I can assign students a vocabulary set for HW and can check to see if they did the assignment.

Nachteile:

The software is geared toward the free users. I teach high school, and the programs seem geared toward elementary or self study. If my students use multiple devices (phone and computers) they have to create an account for each device. It isn't user friendly for the students. The sets come up automatically for them, but they aren't in my teacher system, so their work doesn't show unless I look their account up individually. This defeats the point of Analytics. I can't go back and forth between my class and the individuals without additional clicks back and forth. The software is cumbersome. I can't easily copy and paste from one class to another, without them being linked, which prohibits me from making changes in one that I don't want in the other. I'm sure there is a way-but too time consuming to figure it out. I even tried customer support directly. NOT PARTICULARLY HELPFUL. Their is almost zero customer support and help. Talking to a bot is not my idea of support. The value for Quizlet Plus is low.

One of the Best Digital Learning/Flashcard Apps (though not without room for improvement)

Kommentare: I have used Quizlet as a learner and teacher for probably close to a decade. It is by far one of the best and most robust learning and digital flashcard tools out there. It will serve the needs of the majority of users very well and it is easy to share with other students or whole classes. The study sets are highly customizable and feature-rich with great support for different languages. I do wish its user experience was more customizable and flexible and that the mobile apps were more consistent across platforms, but these concerns do not keep it from being still one of the best if not the best learning solutions on the market today for free or for a reasonable price. For all these reasons I highly recommend Quizlet, though I hope the company continues to improve and innovate its user experience in the years to come.

Quizlet is one of the longest and biggest names out there in the study and digital flashcard space. It allows you to create a near limitless amount of highly customizable digital flashcard sets, with rich text formatting, image integration, multi-language support, and custom audio recordings. They have a vast publicly available library of other users' study sets that can be easily searched and either used directly or easily copied and edited to suit your own goals. If you are studying a popular topic or textbook, chances are there are already multiple high-quality quizlet sets available. Even when creating your own study sets from scratch, quizlet even suggests answers/definitions based on what other users have put for your term. Sets can be organized into folders or classes and easily shared with others for use in an educational setting. On top of this, Quizlet goes beyond simple digital flashcards to provide a variety of learning tools and games that users can make use of for practicing their sets. Quizlet is also highly mobile, with well-established and robust apple and android applications that allow you to take and practice your sets on the go. As a student and as a teacher, I have found Quizlet to be an incredibly valuable tool for improving learning.

Nachteile:

While Quizlet is one of the best options out there, as a long-time user, I am disappointed in a number of features.It would be nice for Quizlet to be more customizable. They seem to try to push users to study "their way" with default viewing and study settings. Some users will want to make use of all of quizlets features, while others will just want digital flashcards. People should be free to learn as is best for them. In this regard, I wish Quizlet remembered user's settings better and had more master options for tweaking how sets behave by default. There are also significant design differences between the Android and iPhone apps. I generally found the Android app better and didn't understand why the two apps didn't mirror each other in features. As one small but annoying example, the Android app seems to scale card text better according, while the apple app has text very small by default, making it much harder to see.I have also run into some significant technical glitches, though this is perhaps due to my use of very large study sets with custom audio. I have run into issues with the online recording tool, often having to do multiple takes before it records a clean version. The mobile app also often fails to update my larger study sets after use, so I have to delete and re-download the app to make them work.A final concern is I haven't seen Quizlet innovate much in the past few years. Their very good product seems to have stagnated in terms of features.

Quizlet is the app/website that helps me get through my classes easily. As I am a student, terms are inevitable. And as much as I love memorization, sometimes, memorizing things can be quite complicated. With the help of Quizlet, I can learn and memorize terms and concepts really easily that it's mind-blowing. They have a gamification-kind of learning, and I think that's what makes Quizlet one of the app/website that can really help students get ahead their peers. Of course, Quizlet is really famous for their flashcards. It's the best thing in Quizlet! You can study your flashcards with their variety of features: "Learn", if you are still aren't that familiar with your flashcards, "Write" for identification, "Spell" to test your spelling skills, and "Test", to test your familiarity with the flashcards! They even let you learn your stuff by playing. Using Quizlet drastically improved my familiarity with the terms used in my classes.

Nachteile:

Quizlet is the perfect app/website for students! With that said, so far, I do not see anything in Quizlet worth calling as one of their flaws.

Quizlet: Student's Review Buddy

Kommentare: Quizlet is indeed a beneficial tool for everyone. It has an easy navigation interface, different review modes, and gamification tools which help users to learn and be prepared for their examinations. Not to mention the encouraging quotes shown in the screen, everytime you finished reviewing. Quizlet is such a big help!

What I really like about this software is that it helps me to prepare for tests. It also offers different review options depending on the lesson and how I learn best.

Nachteile:

What I like the least about this software is that basic account is flooded by ads that can distract users' attention. Even though some of them are easy to ignore, but few seem overwhelming.

Quizlet Review

Kommentare: Quizlet is a very helpful tool for students, not only before exams.

Vorteile:

I used Quizlet to learn almost every subject at the university. Big advantage it that it is possible to share the projects with your classmates which saves them (and you) a lot of time. Everyone can find a way of learning he/she prefers (e.g. matching cards, consecutively browsing flashcards, etc.

Nachteile:

For students it is pretty expensive tool and the free version is limited (for example it is not possible to put photos to the flashcards).

A classic learning software for a reason!

Kommentare: Technical writing involves very specific terms, so I can easily memorize them with Quizlet. I also use Quizlet to share my flash cards easily with co-workers.

Vorteile:

Quizlet makes it possible to carry flash cards anywhere, and to review on any device. The interface is great and intuitive. In my opinion, this is an essential software for teachers, or anyone wishing to memorize terms. It's highly useful for learning languages and technical terms.

Nachteile:

The learn features can be lacking if you don't pay for a subscription. The live feature also requires purchase.

GREAT LEARNING TOOL!

Kommentare: My overall experience with Quizlet has been great. I've been studying and learning with Quizlet for years and I can say in my eyes this is the BEST learning tool to give your kids or yourself. It's very easy to set up. What makes it even easier and more fun is that it's set up like a game. It's got music in the back and you can choose your time that you get on each question. It's amazing.

Vorteile:

What I like most about Quizlet is that it takes something so simple as a big white piece of paper, makes it digital, writes the questions and answers, and helps us stick them in our brains for long-term use. I've used it for about 2+ years for academics and music. I can say there are not many test that I have taken and didn't pass using Quizlet. Strongly recommended.

Nachteile:

What I least like about Quizlet is that sometimes on the mobile version it glitches and gets stuck. So because of that I have got some answers wrong or have seen some answers to early and that kinda spoiled the learning experience for me. I would sometimes have to reload the page for it to act right.

Kommentare: Before I got Quizlet I often found myself struggling when it came memory based topics and subjects. Using Quizlet was seamless and streamlined, meaning I didn't have to worry about anything but my study material. I found myself using its its flashcards anywhere I could fid the time, in between class sessions, during free time and even before going to bed. I believe more and more people should know just how amazing a software Quizlet is.

Vorteile:

the flash cards were easily my favorite feature within the mobile app. Its allowed me to brush up, memorize and easily understand subjects that previously challenged me. That said, I believe the best part about it is the fact that it is free to use.

Nachteile:

Though highly understandable why they are incorporated, the Ads within Quizlet could be a distraction to students with shorter attention spans. I, for the most part, found no problem with them.

Quizlet is extremely easy to use, and a lot of other websites have made it really easy to upload information or vocabulary sets from Quizlet to use in more personalized ways. There are many quality sets already on Quizlet.

Nachteile:

Quizlet's quality has gone downhill in the past couple months since they changed things around. Their "learning" method, which is a multiple choice method that allows you to revisit missed questions, is now only available with the paid version of Quizlet. They let you test out the "learning" method for a few rounds, and then take it away from you, leaving you with a sense of incomplete learning. Not worth your time.

Vorteile:

Quizlet is easy to use and easy to learn how to use. We use Quizlet during our weekly training sessions. You are able to add many terms and quiz your employees in different ways. You can save your lists that allows you to go back and review and you can also share the list with other people on your team, too.

Nachteile:

I work full-time and am also a student and I use it in both ways. It helps me with school but also with work, too. I have yet to find a negative with Quizlet.
