Kommentare: Overall enjoy it and won't change from it for now. Since we've opened, we've had no down time related to hosting issues, would reccomend.

Vorteile:

Ease of use was the biggest draw to this product. Everything was a breeze to setup and was able to start selling our products within minutes of uploading photos and descriptions, couldn't be easier.

Nachteile:

The software lacked the robustness of others. As far as features, some are limited in functionality where others had some small glitches.

Square online is much better than other platforms.

Serious bug on shipping profile setting. the program is written without a logical mindset. and problem was first brought up in community forum in 2021!!A Custom shipping profile allows Single Ship rate setting. And the insanity is, Square won't permit you to assign the product to multiple custom profiles. So your product is restricted to one custom profile where you can set one or multiple destinations, but with one ONE SINGLE ship rate allowed. The one who wrote the program does not have a sound mental state. The management at Square also have serious problem to allow the issue remain over 24 months.Live Chat agent confirmed with me today Sept 30, 2023, the feature I want is currently not available with Square OnlineWARNING TO WHO MAY BE INSTERESTED TO USE SQUARE ONLINESTay away unless they fix the problem !! It is a joke and a waste of time!

Square Online another great experience

Vorteile:

All Square products are super dependable to have a great UI.

Nachteile:

There was nothing I hated and my expectations were met.

Unauthorized charges to my clients - Apparently no big deal to Square.

Kommentare: I have been with Square for several months now and hoped to have them handling all the payment processing for the three businesses my wife and I own. After these recent encounters with "support", however, I'm seriously wondering whether that is a good idea.

Vorteile:

Square has an excellent user interface (Dashboard) and all the services I need ... I really like it when all is going smoothly. But I take double-charging my clients very seriously and apparently Square doesn't.

Nachteile:

One of my websites is an information portal that is paid for by monthly subscription. I used a Wordpress plugin that was not the best solution for interacting with Square and came to the conclusion I needed to change ... so I Deactivated the software on my site and revoked the software's authorization (ability to connect) in my Square account. A month later, charges are still being processed for subscriptions made through the old software, so my clients are now being double-billed.I have now called twice about how to stop this. In both calls I was transferred multiple times (spoke to at least five people in each call). When I finally got to someone who was willing to try to address this, both individuals came to the conclusion that there was nothing they could do to stop the unauthorized charges, and both promised me that someone who doesn't take calls would get back to me.Nobody has ever followed up after either of these calls.

Square helped my business!

Vorteile:

What I like most about Square online is it is beyond user friendly for me and my customers. It is a widely accepted software and my customers were able to pay simply by clicking on a link or invoice. Square also has donation links. This came in handy when I was raising money. Once I am paid, Square offers the option to be paid instantly or later that day via their card and checking account feature.

Nachteile:

There was a bit of delay with payments in order to verify my identity. Once I submitted all required documents, funds were released.

Great tool for small biz

Use friendly app, cheap transaction and transfer fees

Transfer times can take a bit long but there is an option to instantly transfer funds

Kommentare: Square Online was easy to set up since I was already using Square POS.

Vorteile:

Square Online was easy to set up and use for my vending needs.

Nachteile:

There isn't as much design customization as I'd like.

Easy to use, flexible and intuitive

Kommentare: Nothing but thumbs up overall. We have used several other POS programs and by far think the value of Square can't be beat.

Vorteile:

Ease of use and an excellent support team makes Square Online a fabulous option. The templates are designed to look good on both desktops and mobile devices. Very modern and intuitive. Super easy to set up and learn. Integration with Square Retail catalog is good.

Nachteile:

I wish I could copy design elements from one web page to another. The template layouts are also a bit restrictive. Would be nice to have CSS access to fully customize. Would also like the item description to sync with Square Retail without losing the design elements.

The merchant service fit my business industry, products and services. The upgrade of services and feature are awesome!

Nachteile:

Need a easy shipping on the online website shipping admin with the weight, shipping prices and a easier one time payment link just for businesses without the campaign because it is political. So make a separate link that fits embed code on the features and make it easier to embed. And I can not receive what ever business sales amount of a purchase over 50,000.00 each transactions. I have to make partial payments through the website for one purchase transaction (For Example: if a sale is 115,000 and the transaction only excepts 50,000.00 per transaction; so there will have to be 3 purchase transactions. That's horrible. I need only one transaction per purchase at any price and they can still add other purchases if selected and add to total.

That it integrates with all of the other Square Products. I love I can access it from my mobile device.

Nachteile:

The connectivity can be spotty at times and it can crash on mobile devices at inopportune times.

Square is great at on-the-go ordering and managing. I love the simplicity of the app and the features it comes with for balancing receipts and metrics.

Nachteile:

Other than it costing a bit more than most to start up, it's worth the money to do it!

Great for demand, service fees are alot

Kommentare: For organizations that offer services, we require a credit card method of payment, which is why square works well for us. Ideally, the fees would be less. Or even if Square knows we are a non-profit organization, there would be a less expensive fee option. It is however a great system to create invoices and send for payment.

Vorteile:

It is great to be able to use Square to offer a credit card payment option for our clients.

Nachteile:

It is not easy to navigate through the Square dashboard. There are so many things you can do. I often have to go to help or google to figure out how to make something work, for example a 'buy now button.'

Easy implementation for small business. Tracks orders & handles in person transactions well. Great tool for a small company getting started.

Nachteile:

Designer is a bit more clunky than similar platforms like Squarespace or Shopify but it does the job well.

Square reminds me of Google when it was an early start up

Kommentare: Square has been a game changer for me in terms of running my business. I worked with professional developers to try to come up with a website in which I could sell my artwork and it was impossible. Square has allowed me to have a great portfolio and shop that is affordable and simple to use. You're doing great, and I have been very happy with the incremental improvements over time.

Vorteile:

Square reminds me of Google when it was an early start up - I say this because I remember how clean and polished google was compared to other search engines and tech companies at the time. Square is no different - they have things down to a science, and make it extremely easy to sell items and run a business. There is no other service like it. And I appreciate that they don't gouge the price with fees and confusing extra subscriptions like Ebay or Etsy. That would be a major turn off for me. Simply put, I love how clean Square is to use. No Drama.

Nachteile:

I wish there were more website templates to choose from, but this is a minor complaint. It's really a good service either way. Also, it would be nice if Square could allow for purchases of direct downloads. This has been a feature in the works for literally years and I think it should be a priority. Artists like me can't sell printables or patterns until this feature is reinstated!

Square Online Exceeds Expectations

I love that everything is integrated! The POS, mobile and website it is a GREAT value for the cost! I also love that the software is continually improved upon to make the systems even more seamless.

Nachteile:

Amazingly, the con is also all of the integration. It took me several phone calls to figure out how I could allow a 3rd party to help me with the SEO aspect without giving them the keys to the ship! I did finally reach someone that helped me with that but in the end, I decided that putting so much thought into SEO is slightly overrated and I decided to just utilize the default and write great descriptions in the first place.

A thoughtfully-designed and feature-packed site builder that is painless to navigate!

Kommentare: I'm really satisfied with how simple my Square Online site was to create, and is to stylize and update. It looks fabulous, even with the robust free features, but it's a powerhouse with the analytics on the backend. I love that I can link my Square Online site as a subdomain to be able to use it as a booking website for my photography business. Cutting down on email communication with clients, which has Square Online has made possible through its Square Appointments integration with Square Online, has been an invaluable tool for prioritizing time in-person with my clients. Square Online looks great, it's functional, and it's easy to use. It's a primary tool in my business' toolkit.

Vorteile:

For how feature-packed the product is, It's very user-friendly to navigate and set up. For how great the complete product looks, it shouldn't be so simple to use.

Nachteile:

Connecting my Square Online site a subdomain was not a simple task. Establishing the SSL certificate credentials with my web host took a little extra time.

Theatre

Kommentare: We are a small nonprofit theatre. We use Square to sell tickets and process donatons.

Vorteile:

It's easy to use. We use the free version.

Nachteile:

I wish it had a ticket sales/box office report function. I also wish they had a better fee structure for nonprofits.

Why you should go with Square

Kommentare: I love that I can post new products to my website and then tag them on my social media platforms all within 5 min. It just makes sooo many things simpler.

Vorteile:

The ease of setting up my website was amazing!!! I had no website design experience prior to setting mine up. It was so easy. I just followed the prompts and read some of the tips and voilà! I have an amazing website!! I get compliments from my customers all time on how nice my website looks. They are absolutely amazed that I didn’t myself with no prior experience. If I can do this anyone can!!

Nachteile:

I can’t really think of anything that sticks out to me that I don’t like. The few issues that I’ve had were usually my error or not quite understanding what was needed. Just like with any computer software once you learn it and get familiar with it it’s a breeze.

Square is the best, so easy to use!

Nachteile:

I would like to be able to modify the discount functions more, but 1 get the rest at whatever discount, etc

Kommentare: Square has put together a very powerful software that has truly impressed me. As a small business and having all these features, this makes reporting, payroll, time tracking, inventory, etc. a breeze!

I like the reporting this software does. I can look at different types of reporting features, and have been very impressed with all the results!

Nachteile:

There's really not too much I can say that I least like about this software at this time.
