Vorteile:

Sehr leicht zu bedienen, sehr übersichtlich und leicht zu nutzen + einfache Paketierung.

Nachteile:

Es wäre schön wenn man Project leichter in Teams oder andere Tools integrieren könnte.

Ausführliche Anleitung auch online, Tutorial auch bei Plattformen

Nachteile:

Nachbesserung von Terminen , verschieben oder einfügen von Zwischenschritte umständlich bzw erhöhter Aufwand bei den folgenden prozessen

Microsoft Project has been big corporate go to for a reason

Kommentare: Overall using Microsoft Project has been an easy and efficient way to manage the projects I oversee. It's a breeze to get started and because everyone has to use Microsoft it's easy to connect with team members.

Vorteile:

I really like the tie in with every other Microsoft product we use in the office. It's been very easy collaborate with the other people on my team and keep everyone on track.

Nachteile:

I don't love using Microsoft products. Sometimes it feels antiquated and you have to take 2 steps where only 1 should be necessary.

MS Project User Experience

Kommentare: My Overall experience with Microsoft Project has been great, especially given that I had no prior experience of using the software. I was able to quickly grasp the UI and troubleshoot any issues that came up.

Vorteile:

Fairly easy to use, especially if you have a good grasp of MS Excel. It's highly flexible and allows the user to change and tweak a lot of key parameters.

Nachteile:

Compared to other scheduling softwares, e.g. P6, it misses out on some key functionalities. A key feature missing is % work planned. It allows user to compare what % of work was planned till date vs how much has been completed.

A useful tool for planning a single project (installed version) with severe limitations in the online version

Kommentare: MS Project is a reasonably matured software that works well as long as you plan only one project. I could not make it combine several project files into one plan. The online version is - at least for me - not an option to be considered for planning a project.

Vorteile:

Microsoft Project (in the version that you install on your computer) is a tool that has been around for a long time, and therefore has a number of sophisticated features and menus that many more modern tools don't offer.

Nachteile:

At least in theory, MS Project can link several separate projects from different locations. In theory, I did not manage to get this link done, but rather my application crashed. The reason can be that I did something wrong and that other users can make this work, in that case I would say it is not intuitive and has pitfalls. A MAJOR weakness of MS Project in the online version is that I could not make MS Project display the name of a task in the Gantt chard next to or within the displayed bar. Our project plans consist of a huge number - in some cases more than a hundred - hierarchical tasks where many of them are linked to predecessors so we end up with a complicated plan of a huge number of bars in the Gantt chart that are connected by many arrows. However, without seeing the name of the task next to the bar, the user has to move his eyes to the far left of the monitor to read the text and learn what the bar means. If your eye accidentally skips a row while doing this, you get confused. I believe that because of that (and many other features that are missing compared to the installed version of MS Project) the online version of MS Project - at least for my purposes - is useless.

Heavy platform that does many tasks

Kommentare: Have used for multiple tasks such as project management, project engineering, team management and scheduling.

Vorteile:

Work load, work orders, scheduling, project tracking - all in one tool.

Nachteile:

A very heavy platform and visually not very appealing.

Kommentare: Microsoft Project has enabled to inform and ensure that each and everyone is aware about the project timelines.

Vorteile:

The software has enabled us to effectively manage projects and allocate resources and also ensure informed decisions making.

Almost everything about the software is good. From customer care services to general performance of the software.

Project handling

Kommentare: It helps us to import real time data and making audit reports and managing team details, roasters. Helps in making task timeline easily.

Vorteile:

1. Extremely effective and user oriented product. 2. Simple and intuitive GUI with amazing integration options. 3. Help to make management and audit purpose super easy.

Nachteile:

1. The understanding of logics are quite odd. 2. Issues with large file uploading and not really helpful in graphics. 3. We cannot use it for small purposes as it will be overwhelming for those.

Comprehensive tool for project management

Kommentare: Perfect tool for the visualization of large projects with detailed schedules and timelines.It supports integration with a variety of MS tools like teams and SharePoint

Vorteile:

Use it, particularly for the breakdown of a project for more granularity of the project details . MS project allows to create timelines,set milestones, and allot activities to the right member of the team using the inbuilt charts and also allows to track progress

Nachteile:

The extensive set of features makes it less suitable for simple projects for complicated projects with multiple milestone,long timelines and lots of team members it is highly suitable.

Stay on top of your tasks with Microsoft Project

Vorteile:

Microsoft Project is really convenient to used compared to other programs. It is extremely popular as a project management tool and allows for me to easily share files with others who also use the tool to stay organized.

Nachteile:

I would like for the software to be a one time cost instead of an annual subcription which is really costly over time.

Microsoft Project is Familiar, But no longer the Best.

Kommentare: In general, the best thing Microsoft Project has going for it, is that it's been around forever; most people are already familiar with it.

Vorteile:

Microsoft Project is ubiquitous, and as such extra training is usually not required. The average person is already a user.

Nachteile:

As time has gone by, the competition has improved more then Microsoft Project. There is open source SW which is more intuitive and easy to use.

MS Project: A comprehensive but complex approach for project management

Kommentare: My overall experience with microsoft projects stands average.
As it is very expensive i could only afford the free trial and overall
due to its complex ui it has been a bit hard. There were positives too like the flexiblity and scalablity factors

Vorteile:

likes about microsoft project is that it is robust with good flexibility and scalability. It is very easy to even integrate with out microsoft tools like powe bi,excel etc. It also offers a good amount of customization too.

Nachteile:

One of the cons is that ms project is very expensive compared to its competative product out there in the market. Even the UI is bit complex and handling large projects become difficult.

Love the capabilities of this app. I enjoy how it can be used industry-wide and can help everyone be on the same page and coordinate together. Subtasks are helpful as well

Nachteile:

There is a bit of a learning-curve to this app. Some aspects can be difficult to figure out. There also seems to be a lack of real-time updates when collaborating on projects

Project visualization and monitoring

Kommentare: For me it is the best tool for project management, it allows great visibility of the same and provides the necessary versatility for the different types of projects that can be managed in the professional field, it has allowed me to efficiently manage resources, costs and generate benefits in the projects I have managed.

Vorteile:

The visibility and detailed monitoring you get from the tool when managing projects, the great resource management and project costs that can be managed.

Nachteile:

I saw very few disadvantages within the implementation process and use of the tool, so I refrain from indicating any as it is an exceptional product for project management.
