A must-have and excellent tool for social proof!

Kommentare: This tool can really help me to engage my sites visitors in a proper and effective way, I use it to display announcements, coupons, online visitors but I know I will be extending my use cases once I start with my e-commerce site to provide honest social proof. This is a great alternative to any other social proof widget plugin you could find out there, I have researched about some in the past and I honestly preferred Evidence above all those, I love the look & feel this widget can provide and the platform user interface, although I think they can still improve it even more in future, so far it has everything you can expect from any professional social proof plugin and has a lot of integrations, just take in mind that it seems (at least to me) that lastly they're pushing updates slowly as I would prefer, however they still working in some improvements and pushing some new features time to time.

Vorteile:

I love the user interface, I like the ability they give to their customers to customize almost everything about the look and feel of the popups and alerts, the widgets looks gorgeous! And it is pretty easy, simple and fast to implement in any site :)

Nachteile:

I just wish the Evidence team could be even more active on the product updates, I mean they still continue rolling new updates to the platform however I don't feel like they're too much involved into this or at least not as quickly as I would personally prefer.

Easy to use social proof with deep features

Kommentare: Evidence is the social proof tool that I settled on after trying many others. It just has the best combination of being easy to use while also having virtually every feature the others have. The ability to use their tracking script to track website users and report on them in FOMO popups is very cool, and the interface is just super slick.

Vorteile:

I was really wanting a social proof option that would allow me to display the number of people who have visited the current page over the last 7 days, or whatever period of time. I was surprised how many social proof apps did NOT offer this. But Evidence does! Not only that, but out of the 7 or so social proof apps I've used, none have been easier to use than Evidence. The interface is simple and reactive, and it takes no time to put a campaign together.

Nachteile:

I wish there were more direct integrations with third party tools. Honestly, this isn't something that is terrible, but it's the one thing I wish there was more of. Most integrations seem to be based on webhooks or through Zapier, which is fine, but takes a little more setting up. And Zapier can get expensive very quickly. So I do hope they put more effort into direct integrations in the future, or offer Integromat or other options.

My Future Business Uses Evidence

Kommentare: I am using Evidence to help provide social proof on The My Future Business website. I found that the initial set up was easy, and I was over the moon with the fact that I could trigger Evidence using Google Tag Manager.

Vorteile:

Evidence was easy to set up. I can use it without adding more plugins to my website i.e. I run it through Google Tag Manager. It works.

Nachteile:

I think more design choices would be good to help me completely match the design of my business website. This is not a criticism, it's just that I'm all about completely tailoring software to suit my business needs.

Good Social Proof Tools with interaction limitations

Kommentare: Easy to create campaign but need some technical for the source integration.

Vorteile:

Evidence has an clean UI and easy interface. Campaigns can be build easily and can be managed easily even by an person without technical knowledge. It almost takes around 10-15 minutes to do the complete setup.

Nachteile:

Integrating an source to the Evidence is little bit trickier, all then had to be done thought the webhook. Which forces an need of technical knowledge on the webhooks to integrate an source. Unless few other tools give an direct source integration.

What a great tool and what a team !

Kommentare: I bought Evidence via Appsumo about a month ago and I already see the results (also it was super easy to set up). [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] himself went out of his way to help me set the tool in the most powerful way for my business ! 2000% recommend !

Providing Social Proof Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

Kommentare: Evidence gives your visitors social proof that your site and products are trustworthy and legitimate. What more do you want? When your visitors see other visitors who are just like them taking action, they'll also take the same action. Evidence not only builds trust, it increases conversions. Integration with other apps is one of this apps greatest strengths. I've never ever seen so many integrations. Your favourite CRM, ESP, or shopping cart is readily available. Highly recommended!

Vorteile:

Having never used Evidence before, and not fully understanding how it worked, amazingly, I had my first campaign up and running in 20 minutes. I didn't need to watch any onboarding videos as the UI is really intuitive. Just simple point and click. Add the Evidence pixel to your site and you're away. Adding the pixel in Wordpress is straight forward using the Headers and Footers plugin. And then inside Evidence,, choose whether you want it to fire on a every page or on a specific page. so you can add it to all pages in one go (this you need to do so you can control which pages actually use it within Evidence itself). The UI is a joy to behold, uncluttered and well designed.

Nachteile:

A dark theme would be nice to rest weary eyes.

Vorteile:

What I often is an increase in the new registered customers after started using Evidence. Simply most of the new coming visitors land to our website and shortly after that they see that someone from their area purchased a product. This builds trust and confidence in them and they take action.

Great for REAL social proof & announcements

Vorteile:

The integration with WooCommerce was easy to set up and the creation of notifications is about as easy as it gets. Great options that aren't only for ecommerce, like announcements of new articles or "visit this page." The ability to limit which pages the notifications went to is great as well.

Nachteile:

Editting existing campaigns can be cumbersome.

Great little add-on for WP testimonials

Kommentare: Disappointed at first because of the lack of design controls (the other tech controls are excellent). However, with updated release, its been great.

Vorteile:

Easy to configure and install; good support materials for newbie users.

Nachteile:

Some design features were lacking that meant a color clash with our branding was unable to be resolved. We took this off our site until the developers released a later version - new version works fine and we're back to loving it.

Evidence makes FOMO easy

Kommentare: This software is amazing for webinar signups. This drives more people to signup based on the total number of people engaging with the site.

Vorteile:

I love the simple features that Evidence provides to generate interest based on the real visitors that come to your website. Even better, you can whitelabel this service for your clients and you can control all aspects of the popup, from color scheme to who it is powered by (YOU!).

Nachteile:

The existing templates are well thought out but are limited when it comes to modifying it to your exact specs (name/location only). You can only pull certain types of data. Hopefully there are more options in the pipeline. This is a JS code you insert into your site. If you minify your site to speed it up, you'll run into issues. If you're a developer, this is a easy bypass but it's a headache for newbies who aren't hardcore coders. Though this is a issue, you can bypass this on landing page builders since they're optimized for speed to begin with. IF you're on WordPress, that is where you may run into issues.

Social Value

Kommentare: They answered my questions I had pre-sale and after sale. I found the customer support to be timely and very helpful in answering my questions. I was able to set it up quickly and easily with my first campaign in just a short time. I believe it brings social value to my website and shows there is activity in sales and newsletter signups.

Easy to set up campaigns 4 different campaign types Versatile to where I can only add the first name and not the full name

Didn't fully conform to mobile so it gets in the way

Really great software for social proof

Kommentare: Really posivite overall and we continue to use it to this day.

Vorteile:

We struggled to find the right software for providing 'social proof' that our product was in demand. There are a lot of extremely expensive solutions and also cheaper sub par solutions. Evidence ran a great LTD campaign and we found them to be the best solution for us - very cost effective but a superb quality product. Really happy!

Nachteile:

No cons - onboarding could be improved as we struggled to get set up with the Webhook but support was really helpful.

The Proof is in the Social

Vorteile:

I love how easy it is to map actions to notifications and get it all setup. I didn’t have to be a developer to get it to work, and I had it up and running in an hour or two.

Nachteile:

The only challenge is understanding the best use cases for each notification. It would be great to have additional best use strategies.

Kommentare: Evidence pop-ups are a great CTA; to instill confidence. I really like the product and it's been beneficial for my different brands.

Vorteile:

I really like that you can show visitors conversion notifications. Seeing that other people bought products provides a factor of trust to a consumer who is wavering on the fence. There are so many ways to show different kinds of social proof! Number of visitors, sales, booking, and new accounts are a few ways to use Evidence. You can also show offers, promotions, and make announcements. So many uses. Oh...and that scrolling tab!!!

Nachteile:

This is a solid, useful product. While some people prefer white labeling (no Evidence branding) I find it to be more trust-worthy as a consumer, to see these numbers originating from Evidence.

Easy to implement

Adding code to site and getting going is really easy once you add the code snippet in your site. Basic social proof are setup in less than 10 minutes.

Nachteile:

I wish they had more innovative styles that would set them apart from many other similar services

Vorteile:

Evidence is crucial if you are launching a SaaS product. People don't like the feeling of being left out. Evidence gives them real time stats on other people signing up for a service. If they see this, they are more apt to sign up themselves.

Nachteile:

I cannot afford to have the software implemented at this time.

Pretty easy to set up, with some good instructions - can get started quite quickly. Quite a lot of interesting features to explore and use.

Nachteile:

Have to use another product (Zapier) to get the product purchases information from BigCommerce - wish there's a direct integration.

It's quite easy to implement, and I'm glad that we took the chance on adding this to our lead gen efforts.

Kommentare: It's been great knowing that I have a software that achieves quite effortlessly what I need it to!

Vorteile:

Love the aesthetics of it, functionality of it and consistency of using the software. I really like that with Evidence I have the ability to show what my customers are doing adding validation to curious or interested customers who may have objections or concerns.

Nachteile:

The user interface was a bit confusing at first to fully understand what I was creating and how it was coming together but after a little time figuring it out it worked great.

Evidence is great in showcasing social proof to potential buyers.

Easy to implement, and the custom support is fantasist!

At first, the UX didn't seem very polished, but they have long ago fixed that! Very intuitive now.
