Kommentare: When we first considered going to a subscription model, the lack of automation in deploying licenses and the processes for capturing renewals was daunting. Having to track customers through spreadsheets just wasn't appealing. We had even considered hiring someone to specifically handle this. If we were going to work with a partner to automate our subscriptions, they needed to have seamless backend iLok integration and tools that allowed for automating license deposits, payments, communications to enduser and renewals. Scaled Commerce fit the bill on all these aspects. Additionally, they provided a consultative approach to SaaS newbies like us and made the administration, deployment and ongoing operations extremely easy. I recommend using them if you're thinking about making the leap to SaaS.

Vorteile: Scaled Commerce is infinitely flexible and sophisticated. It has advanced recurring billing options that has let us have a hands off approach for monthly and yearly subscription renewals. SC has helped us create a white labeled, fully customized licensing/ecommerce platform, not only for our direct sales, but also for our reseller partners who now have their own portal for tracking, selling and purchasing our software products. We can devote our resources to making our products better instead of trying to hodgepodge a subscription service that doesn't have any of the sophistication that SC does.

Nachteile: We had a complex pricing scenario that SC's flexibility accommodated. With the increased flexibility, there was an added layer of complexity since almost any pricing/term scenario could be accommodated. With that said, it was a breeze setting things up because SC has high touch customer service. If there was an issue, whether with a specific transaction or a last minute e-commerce promo, they were available to solve issues or guide us through the steps asap.

Kommentare: Provided a way to offer subscriptions without requiring us to have a dedicated team, helps us expand our business without a high risk of developing own system. Service has been outstanding onboarding and operating.

Vorteile: Native support for iLok platform, perpetual and subscriptions Ability to use other copy protection methods if desired. Customer service team go above and beyond to support clients. Super easy to set up and use. Very Flexible with promotions. Complete transparency on user data. Supports popular payment methods. Scales great - Trusted Google Cloud Partner.

Nachteile: No concerns from us was very easy to use.
