Sehr gute Signaturlösung für den Bereich Microsoft 365

Kommentare: Wir konnten verschiedene Szenarien abbilden, u.a. auch den Versand von SIgnaturen getrennt in Externe und Interne Empfänger.

Vorteile:

Was uns am meisten begeistert hat ist die einfach und schnelle Installation von Exclaimer und die einfache Bedienbarkeit über die Cloudoberfläche. Unsere Anforderungen wurden von Tag 1 an übertroffen und es gab keinen Punkt den Exclaimer nicht in seiner Lösung anbietet.

Nachteile:

Wir hatten von Anfang an keine Probleme mit Exclaimer. Auch bis heute läuft alles einwandfrei. Ich hätte zum aktuellen Zeitpunkt keine Verbesserungsvorschläge.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

A tool that saves my life

Kommentare: When I saw it for the first time I saw it somewhat complicated, until I could configure it correctly it was very difficult for me, once configured everything was great.

when you have it configured it's great, you can add more people and the signatures are applied and updated automatically.

The worst thing is used, the design could improve, there is time that I have to use manual mode.

Terrible Service

Once it was set up it worked as promised.

Nachteile:

The billing department is terrible and the customer service is even worse. They have been charging me for almost a year and not providing the service. Repeated attempts to contact support and the credit department go unanswered. I have an open case on this issues that is 6 weeks old. No update in 3 weeks despite repeated attempts to contact support. The last update I received was they were trying to get in touch with their own Credit department, which is a strange response.

Slightly dated UI, but capable system

Kommentare: I've been using it for over 2 years now with minimal issues. The main downside is that it took our IT team about a year to get around to implementing some custom AD fields to sync with Exclaimer, but the system is flexible enough that we were able to move forward with more manual methods until the dev work was completed.

Exclaimer provides all of the needed organization and sectioning for our business with 3 distinct units that all rely on separated branding and control.

Nachteile:

The UI is a little dated, and sometimes it can be tricky to get custom AD fields to sync correctly to Exclaimer.

Professional signatures, very versatile

Vorteile:

The features I most use are the signature tester and troubleshooters, which can help you to determine what signature a particular user will get when sending to certain recipients. You can have separate internal and external signatures or even change your signature details by recipient domain, so if you have a partner organisation that you're happy to share your mobile number with, but wouldn't give that out to the public, you can do that.The signature setup is very versatile and there are some simple but effective things that you can't do with e.g. Exchange mail flow rules - conditional separators, for example, which will only appear when the attributes are non-blank. This stops the stray commas or dashes which we had in our old rules.

Nachteile:

I still find it a little hard to know if I have the correct group setup for which emails get sent via Exclaimer, as we don't have all our users on it yet. I think I had a little bit of trouble also with the sync group for whose attributes to sync so I ended up just getting it to sync them all. That does mean you can trial what signatures would look like for people who aren't yet using Exclaimer.I also find it hard when you have a lot of different signatures, to know if you've arranged it correctly, as you can have folders (which have their own criteria for which users to apply to) and then signatures within those - it's therefore possible to assign a signature to a user but not assign that user to that folder, or vice versa, and not have the signatures applying that you think you do. I'm not sure there's a better way to do it though, and that's why you have to set it up in a way that makes most sense to you and also use the troubleshooter/sig tester to check that you have done what you think you have.

Auto organisational signatures, bye bye messy signatures

Kommentare: Overall, we are very happy with Exclaimer Cloud.

Vorteile:

The Exclaimer software was very straight forward to integrate with our Office 365 system. If you have not used Office 365 connectors before don’t worry. Exclaimer provide comprehensive but easy to follow instructions. Using the Exclaimer editor is fairly straight forward, once you get the hang of the template editor you realise how powerful email signatures can be.

Nachteile:

We did have a couple of teething issues but I think this was more part of the learning curve rather than a problem with the software. Also, when we have new members of staff the auto sync runs every evening. The manual sync is a bit slow.

You can change the email signatures templates for individual members, groups or the entire organisation. The changes take effect immediately. Using Exclaimer means that staff no longer need to worry about setting up individual signatures. Our email signature brand identity 'font type, logo, hyperlinks, info, disclaimers etc, is now centrally managed and automated. Staff can email from any of their devices and be confident their signature will be added securely and automatically with Exclaimer in the Office 365 environment. We are very happy with Exclaimer and would highly recommend it.

Gets the job done for a decent price

Kommentare: Overall, for the price and simplicity, I would recommend Exclaimer Cloud. It functions well on the user end. Is very simple to train for end users. A bit frustrating and complicated to manage, but nothing that any operations or IT team couldn't handle.

Nachteile:

The interface can be frustrating to use. Changes sometimes do not save or windows close randomly. Can become very frustrating while designing complicated signature with a lot of rendering rules. The user database updates when a user is added, but not when one is deactivated. This can get frustrating if you forget to reduce your license count. Some of the rules do not apply as you would expect - it can take some time to get used to, but isn't overwhelmingly difficult. Can cause mail routing issues with Barracuda or other email threat management software. Not impossible task to work around, but many of our emails were flagged early on in our implementation.

Very Helpful tool to a big problem.

Kommentare: We work with exclaimer for 3 years now and we don't have any complains. Extremely easy to implement and manage. The tech support available is one of the best on cloud products that we subscribe.

Does the job, but lacks features and setup is intricate

Kommentare: It has been OK. Aside from the signature HTML editor limitations mentioned above, the service does what it is supposed to do with G Suite. It's a clever hack they're doing to add signatures to outgoing messages through G Suite without actually channeling mail through the Exclaimer Cloud SMTP servers. G Suite checks in with Exclaimer Cloud on every message sent (regardless of sending client - web, mobile, or desktop), and if appropriate, it tacks the signature on to the message. Then, the modified message with signature goes out via G Suite's SMTP servers, so there's little danger of spam issues. By and large, I'd say this is a clever product that does its job well, and with more enhancements to the admin tools, it could be a five-star product. It just needs time to mature.

Vorteile:

This product does exactly what it is supposed to do - once it is set up. The initial setup of the service for G Suite is *very* intricate. You must follow every last detail exactly in order for the system to work properly. However, that being said, their instructions are perfect. While lengthy and technical, as long as you follow their instructions to the letter, the service will work and it will work well. After initial setup of the G Suite integration, using it is a breeze.

Nachteile:

There are different flavors of their products depending on your mail server setup. We use G Suite, and their signature builder for G Suite is very limited. Yes, it is functional. It's not bug-laden or broken in any way, it's just limited. You do not have access over the source code for what you build as a signature. You're forced to use their visual signature editor. For novices, that's probably fine. But if you know basic HTML and you're just looking for a simple table or block of text as a signature, their visual signature builder creates bloated, unnecessary code that isn't always compatible with every email client that receives it. This bloated code means that signatures might display differently if someone views your email signature in a different email client. If I had direct control over the HTML of my email signatures, I could minimize the bloat and strip it down for maximum compatibility. The G Suite version of their product, as of July 2021, does not allow you to so this. That is one of my few criticisms of the product.

Simple to use and good customer support

Kommentare: The support desk has proven to be very helpful and on a few occasions have gone above and beyond to resolve issues we have had and this has been greatly appreciated. Renewals are simple and painless, the product does what it is supposed to and does not create more problems than it solves.

Vorteile:

This turned out to be the simplest solution to our long debate on what our corporate signature should be and the fact that staff had a tendency to change what we had manually set for them, not to mention how labour intensive it was to manage the signatures for 50+ people. It has proven to be very simple to copy a created signature and customise it for particular departments or users or to celebrate certain company events, the tie-in to our M365 and AD makes it very easy to update job titles etc.

Nachteile:

My biggest issue was just a small one in that we have used the service for so long that the signature designer application evolved to version 2 and all of our templates were on version 1 so limited in how much we can edit them. Other than that it has worked very well for us for the years we have used it and I haven't seen anything else priced competitively enough and with enough features to tempt us away from it.

Not perfect but it solves a lot of problems for us

Kommentare: The problems we are solving is brand recognition and consistency in emails. Also comprehensive information consistency for each associate. It's convenient and helpful.

Vorteile:

Integration and set-up took the longest just getting all our employee info into the fields. But once set-up, it was fairly easy to use and manage. We love the ability to have different signatures for each of our divisions.

Nachteile:

Not being able to turn off signatures on replies - you can, but it turns it off on all replies, including replying for the FIRST time to a customer or vendor. If a customer reaches out to you first and you've turned off signatures for replies, the reply you make to that customer and essentially emailing them for the first time, won't include your signature. We just wanted to be able to turn it off after you've replied or emailed someone for the first time within the same thread so there wouldn't be so many graphics in one thread. But right now, if you turn off the signatures on replies, it turns it off for every reply regardless if it's the 1st, 2nd, etc. There are also some problems with iOS where the images in the signature each turn into attachments to the email upon replies on mobile email. There is a work around but we are still having a few problems.

Very flexible software w/ great support.

Kommentare: Exclaimer was in place when I arrived at the company, but was not being used at all locations. I was able to learn the interface and get signatures flowing at the remaining 2 locations without much of a problem. Two years after that it was migrated to our Office 365 presence and has been running well ever since.

Vorteile:

My highest appreciation of this software came when it was time to take it off premise and move it to O365. Nearly every feature transferred and the Exclaimer Support Team transferred a majority of our templates and settings for us to get the project moving. All that was left to do was make some minor adjustments. The support behind the software is a big deal when you are a two-man crew trying to support a medium-sized company as we are.

Nachteile:

The on-premise version could get a little confusing at times, especially when trying to arrange graphics and configure font appearances. Most of those components have been simplified in the O365 version though. Arranging and re-arranging the setup of the templates has become much easier now.

Kommentare: People are happy with how it looks, but there are still so many loose ends I would like to figure out such as replies not being as large as the original email. Overall if you had customer service it would be very beneficial.

Vorteile:

I like that this software helps us control the signatures of our employees and make everything uniform.

Nachteile:

We have two different divisions and one runs on Gmail and the other on Microsoft. The Mircosoft is much easier. Gmail went down the second day we had it running and delayed all of our incoming mail, but we haven't had much trouble since. I don't feel like the organization has great customer service. They are very nonchalant and it takes forever to get anything resolved. They will not pick up the phone or get on a Zoom to help you understand they make you figure it out on your own. If you don't have a really stong IT department I wouldn't recommend.

Signatures in the cloud

Kommentare: There are no longer any inconsistencies with our signatures. I don't get calls of so and so's email signatures have a line out of place or the logo is missing. I no longer have the entire staff wasting time reporting these issues or trying to fix or create their own signature. The product saves a ton of time and makes everyone a lot more productive. Good value for the cost, but if the pricing was jsut a tad lower the benifit would be tremendous.

Vorteile:

I like that I can rest assured, if there is an entry uploaded to the database, the signature will be applied. it is always uniform on all devices from desktops to cell phones and everything in-between. The setup and deployment was super easy, and the support was great throughout the onboarding process.

Nachteile:

in my case it was a little more difficult because the company insisted that we not use one of the many templated signature blocks included in the software. I found it difficult to use the template designer, it was just not intuitive enough, for a non design person to be able to use effectively. Support however did provide a solution and made the adjustments that I could not do myself.

Great software with a fantastic support team

Kommentare: We use it for 50+ customers and my overall experience has always been good. Any issues i cannot solve myself, the Exclaimer support team are always happy to assist. Special mention to [sensitive content hidden] in template building who is always happy to help.

Vorteile:

Integration into Office 365 is a breeze, the connectors do all the work for you. I usually love the ability to give the customer edit access to manage their own signatures.

Nachteile:

I find the signature builder itself a bit difficult to use, sometimes i find the Inherit Text options dont save.

Vorteile:

Everything from setting up to deploying is very easy and you can be up and running in minutes.Once up and running no more fiddly work getting users to apply the correct signature or one at all.

Nachteile:

The only actual issue found is if the email is large (over 30Mb) do not get the signature added at all. This can be overcome if you add the local outlook client addin for exclaimer, but this is the only real issue found so far. It can be a little fiddly getting your signatures to be absolutely perfect, but the signature editor is still far easier and superior to the alternative.

Exclaimer Cloud is an excellent choice for small businesses

Kommentare: We needed a professional email signature option that would allow us to standardize our branding for all users. Exclaimer Cloud met that need. We were also able to design social media icons with links that are embedded within the signature block. The Exclaimer Cloud design team was easy to work with and are very knowledgeable.

Vorteile:

Provides a professional, organizationally branded email signature that is easy to use. You can customize it for all branches or divisions of your organization so that every employee does not have to have the same signature but allows you to keep the branding. The placement is also excellent when you are replying to an email chain...the signature stays with your email and does not get added at the very end of the chain.

Nachteile:

The software does not integrate with auto-reply messages from Outlook. This would be a very helpful feature addition.

Excellent service, takes all the hassle out of Office 365 Signatures!

Kommentare: Fantastic, I've used it for several years now, and recommended it countless times. It's taken all the headaches out of all aspects of signatures. Also, when I made a little booboo and it stopped working (my fault) - their support was fantastic - resolved the issue in the first suggestion.

Vorteile:

It does everything it says as well as it needs to - it's far easier than managing signatures manually. I started using it when it was just me - ensuring signatures get applied uniformly across all devices - it wasn't possible before - different apps have different capabilities - this isn't dependent on any features on apps or devices

Nachteile:

Nothing really - I guess they could give it away for free? Seriously though, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

As you become more familiar with the product its very easy to add more signatures and more complicated signatures to really stand out and collect customer feedback if needed.

Nachteile:

Applying different signatures to different shared mailboxes doesn't quite work as we want with displaying them in the outlook client, however it does display them correct when leaving the org and applying to emails

Vorteile:

I've used Exclaimer across my last 3 roles. I recommended it specifically in the last 2 due to the ease of use, consistency and professionalism of the signatures. Having the professional signature when sending emails from mobiles and web-based email is critical and Exclaimer achieves this flawlessly.Having group specific signatures and being able to schedule updated ones is brilliant.

Nachteile:

There is nothing I dislike about it.
