Kommentare: Hilfreiches Tool das ich im Alltag nicht mehr missen möchte. Besonders die Zugrifffunktion über die App auf dem Mac ist sehr komfortable.

Vorteile:

Texte, Beschreibungen oder Dokumente zu erstellen an denen ich nicht nur alleine arbeite. Hierfür ist Paper einer der besten Apps, die ich in diesem Bereich kenne. Viel einfacher und praktikabler als bspw. Word, weil die keine Dokumente hin und her geschickt werden müssen.

Nachteile:

Die Formatierungsoptionen sind nicht besonders üppig. Dies ist wirklich ein Nachteil für mich. Ich habe das so gelöst, dass ich das Dokument nach Fertigstellung downloade und erst dann endgültig formatiere.

Vorteile:

Files organization and search. Unless you are the master of structures, you may find it hard to find a document among hundreds of others. The simplicity has its price.

Good for collaborating on projects

Kommentare: I use Dropbox paper with projects at their nascent stage but for more involved steps in the later steps of a project, I use other tools that allow a wider set of app integrations.

Nachteile:

More sophisticated project needs like modifying it in any way and notifying the members each time is not as efficient. Also, everyone on the team needs to have access to dropbox paper to use most of the features.

Kommentare: Dropbox paper is super easy to learn to navigate and use. With all of the choices available to you, you can make some pretty aesthetically-pleasing documents! If the people you'll be sharing with appreciate that sort of thing, I highly recommend giving it a try.

One of the greatest things about Dropbox Paper is that it gives you the freedom to design your documents precisely the way you want. As a result, you can make some very stunning documents!

Nachteile:

Since a lot of the people I was sharing the documents with preferred how easy it was to use Google Docs instead, I didn't end up using it as frequently as I would have preferred.

Not as many functionalities as Google drive but very easy to use and accomplish tasks.

Kommentare: I'm making folders to organize my documents and make them available from any device, and it also allows me to work with others. Any file we work on is automatically saved, so there is never a problem with data loss. Instead of overwriting it, Dropbox creates another version for changes we make to documents, allowing us to seamlessly revert any written changes by going to a previous version of the document, which is useful when writing code and running into errors while expanding it. It solves our problem of finding a location to store all of our information; it's simple to organize and generate documents; and I enjoy making folders.

I have no cons for Dropbox paper. One feature that can be enhanced is the Offline limitations. Although Dropbox allows offline editing, some students and staff reported limitations. For instance, offline mode doesn’t support all features. This is the only improvement which can be considered.

You can use files stored in your PC or Dropbox and it will reflect almost instantly especially if you have a reliable internet connection. It allows users to comment, share opinion, or leave feedback minimizing the need to hold online meetings, call, or send emails to each other.

Nachteile:

If you lose internet connection sometimes it takes time to start responding. I usually have to reload it to enjoy real-time activities. It has limited formatting features but offers better collaboration functions. The pricing could hinder potential clients.

Superb note-taking tool

Kommentare: I've used Paper as a personal and professional note-taking app for the past few years. I see it as mainly a competitor to Evernote and Confluence, however it is superior to both in my opinion. The collaboration tools are excellent and the 'to-do' list is sufficiently powerful for the majority of use-cases. For myself, the best features are the fact that it uses normal markdown syntax and supports latex equations. All you need is a web-browser to use it and the mobile app is very solid.
The app is simple, but it makes excellent design choices and as a result, anyone can use it immediately. Low barrier-to-entry and simplicity are exactly what I want from a note-taking/collaboration tool, so I would highly recommend it.
It's not a replacement for a word processor, nor does it intend to be.

Vorteile:

Nachteile:

I would like footnotes and references. Performance stutters with very large documents.

A product without a clear purpose

Vorteile:

I've mostly used Dropbox Paper for document storage and some collaboration in the past and it's been fine. We still keep some of our documents here and it's reasonably easy to file and organise these documents.

Nachteile:

I feel that I've never fully understood the unique purpose of Dropbox Paper and so probably haven't made the most of it. It seems to me that it's superceded by other tools that are more successful and therefore I haven't had a good reason to use it more extensively. We use the Google suite, Notion and Linear more extensively for the features that Dropbox Paper offers.

Can't live without

Kommentare: It literally has NEVER let me down and I rely on it heavily. I absolutely love it and makes my life so ,much easier. It has honestly been a lifesaver.

Vorteile:

Over the years I have used this product with many types of OS and it has been seemless each time I have implemented. It is critical to the business survival as well as my personal use. I absolutely love it and would recommend it and have many times.

Nachteile:

Actually, there is nothing I can think of in which makes me question the product, seriously.

Reliable storage of personal documents

Vorteile:

I use dropbox for years with university, I find this app extremely reliable, I have it shared with other professional colleagues and I never had any problems. Always very fast to upload documents, I like the link between different devices and I highly recommend using it.

Nachteile:

The layout has improved a lot in the last few years, I would just like the document folders that had modifications to be in a different color, it would be easy to see.

Web based docs alternative, but not ready for mass collaboration

Vorteile:

The idea of having yet another, private docs alternative. The UI is invisible (in a good way).

Nachteile:

The paper docs can't be opened from the client, but have to open a new web tab beats the purpose of "synching" documents.

Dropbox - Another Great Collaboration Tool

Kommentare: A very good product overall.

Vorteile:

Easy to use collaborate. Great in professional and educational environments. Able to manage project easily and seamlessly. Consolidated project aspects easily.

Nachteile:

Mobile app could use an offline mode. Can also be replaced with Google Drive for a free experience if you're willing to sacrifice some of the more advanced features and consolidation of project details.

Easy to Share Files among Users

Kommentare: I think the products works for what we do. If there were many people on the file, constantly saving changes it would not be a good fit, but this is not the case for us.

Vorteile:

The admin can put documents in the box at any time and I can make changes as I go. It makes file sharing so easy for all involved. Several people can be on one file at a time.

Nachteile:

When more than one person is on the file and an individual saves changes, it makes a whole new file. It is often confusing as to which is the most up to date file at that point.

Overall a good software

Vorteile:

Content writing becomes very easy, app and website are in sync. helped me improve task productivity.

Nachteile:

Can't think of any cons, its really nice app

Best Product Ever

Vorteile:

Dropbox is the best way to access documents from anywhere and share with others regardless of what type of document you are saving. You don't have to just use Microsoft Word or just use PDF's, you can save and share anything.

Nachteile:

No problems- love Dropbox with all my heart.

Vorteile:

I really like how the software allows you to do automatic updates. This saves so much valueable time because the files I selected are set up to automatically back up even while I am running other programs.

Nachteile:

I do not like the size limits for the value.

Secured place drop your files

Vorteile:

1. Easy to sync up the file with cloud, so working with team members they will view updated version of that file. 2. Even though we deleted some of our files accidentally, we can retrieve it back with help of version saved in dates.

Nachteile:

1. Downloading files from cloud taking more duration. 2. difficult to upload the folder directly to the cloud.
