The software is very easy to use. Most of it you can teach yourself or learn in a short meeting with Hellotax.
They are completely incompetent and their staff doesn't have a clue. Their email is a general "support" email so you never know if your message will reach the person who you are working with.

Kommentare: Sehr angenehmes Onboarding. Alles sehr gut erklärt und umgesetzt. Bei fragen sehr schnelle und gute Antwort.
Vorteile:
Sehr guter und schneller Service. Sehr gute Erreichbarkeit und schnelles abarbeiten von Themen. Sehr freundlich und höflich. Preislich top.

Es gibt bis jetzt keine punkte die ich monieren kann.

Grund Solides Programm
Kommentare: Ich habe erst nach einer Software gesucht, die mir die Umsatzsteuermeldungen für Polen und Tschechien machen und bin so zu Frieden, dass ich jetzt auch den ganzen europäischen Markt wechsel. Der Kontakt funktioniert und bei Problemen wegen Finanzämtern etc. Haben wir immer eine Lösung gefunden. Im großen und ganzen hat es langfristig für mich erheblich Kosten gespart und dazu noch Zeit weil ich mich nicht mehr selbst um alles kümmern muss was Steuern betrifft.
Vorteile:
Hellotax ist eine sehr günstige und einfache Software, um seine Steuern und Umsatzsteuervoranmeldungen für dass Ausland zu machen. Die Anbindung an die Onlineshops geht schnell und einfach. Der Support ist freundlich u und Hilfsbereit und man bekommt alles zur Verfügung gestellt was man benötigt.
Nachteile:
Das schöne ist, dass das ganze voll automatisiert abläuft und ich mich um gar nichts mehr kümmern muss, wenn es einmal läuft. So kann ich mich mehr um mein Geschäft kümmern und kann sehr einfach noch in weitere Länder verkaufen ohne Mehraufwand.

Weil Hellotax steuern nicht richtig erfasst , und bei uns riesige differenzen auftraten
Nachteile:
Achtung Achtung aufpassen Hallotax hat ohne unsere erlaubnis Falsche Steuerdaten an das Finanzamt übermittelt und uns damit in riesen Probleme gebracht und über 90.000€ Vorzahlungen. Hellotax eußerst sich uns gegenüber auch nicht zu ihrem Fehler, hat uns inzwischen auch gekündigt was ganz gut ist da wir nun zu Taxdoo gewechselt sind... Wir gehen jetzt rechtlich gegen hallotax vor .. ich kann jedem nur davon Abraten... Dafür stehe ich mit meinem Namen Stefan Flüs

Helltotax für den europäischen Steuerdschungel
Kommentare: Bin seit 5 Jahren Kunde und die Abgabe der Steuererklärung funktioniert. Kundenservice ist schnell und zuverlässig.
Vorteile:
Einfach zu Nutzen. Schnittstelle zu Amazon und Excel File Upload für alle anderen Verkäufe. Steuererklärung übersichtlich gestaltet in Bezug auf die Erklärung und die getätigten Steuerzahlungen.
Nachteile:
Optimierungsmöglichkeiten sehe ich in der Dokumentation. Da diese aber aktuell umgestellt wurde ist dies eine Momentaufnahme.

Switching to hellotax was the right desicion

UI is easy enough to use, support is answering questions quickly.
Vorteile:
Quick and easy communication with real people, no chatbots. The entire workflow is much easier than with our previous tax partner.
Nachteile:
Some of the error messages on hellotax are crytic and we had no idea what was wrong with uploaded data. Had to contact support.

Kommentare: Frustrating! Every day I get a different reason from a different staff person with an excuse for not filing my VAT.

I so regret that I signed up with Hello Tax. It's been more than a month and they have yet to do anything. I get contradictory emails from their staff- one tells me they're all set with access to the VAT Gateway and then another email comes telling me they have no access. i no longer believe anything they tell me. Clearly they do not communicate with each other.

Good to recommend non EU Amazon sellers
Kommentare: It is okay overall specially for non EU Amazon sellers as compliance is simple and no need to spent high amount.
Vorteile:
Prompt contact and communication of coordinators for registration and reporting. This type of software quality are basically same but the matter is how fast communicate to solve issues. Communication is the most important part. Registration team quality is good anyway.
Nachteile:
Quality of service for EU customers are not good. As it is complicated, it is not recommended to EU established companies.

I recently utilized HelloTax's services for registering VAT numbers in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, France, and the UK, and overall, I am pleased with the efficiency and speed of the process. The smooth and hassle-free experience during the registration in these countries exceeded my expectations.
Nachteile:
The only downside I encountered was the limited customer support options. The support is exclusively provided through email, and unfortunately, responses are often delayed due to the need for our contact person to consult with colleagues for specific inquiries. This results in prolonged email exchanges that sometimes lead to no resolution. I believe HelloTax could significantly enhance the customer experience by introducing phone support. The ability to address issues directly over the phone would not only expedite problem resolution but also provide a more immediate and interactive avenue for clients seeking assistance. This improvement would undoubtedly contribute to a more well-rounded and customer-centric service.
Registering for VAT in Germany
Vorteile:
Hellotax helped us and successfully obtained a German VAT account for us as an American company. Germany sure has a slow tax office, but Hellotax kept us in the loop throughout the whole process.
Nachteile:
No issues with Hellotax, however the German tax office took around 10 months to process our application.

Good Support in a Niche Industry

Excellent service, very good workflow and service
Vorteile:
We have been using Hellotax's service for about 2 years now to process our Amazon Pan EU VAT returns for the countries IT, ES and FR. Both the registration / registration with the tax authorities worked without any problems. The monthly reports and the entire workflow are just as smooth. Conclusion: we can absolutely recommend Hellotax with a clear conscience.

hellotax for VAT
Kommentare: As a US company, we are not very well versed in how VAT is calcualted. hellotax handheld us throughout the process of applying for VAT and filed our VAT returns regularly. Any changes in tax regulations are notified to us immediately through the portal.
Vorteile:
The portal is extremely easy to use. Once you connect it to your Amazon Seller account, all data is automatically fed through. For selling channel that are not connected, you can upload a spreadsheet.
Nachteile:
Nothing really. It takes little time to learn the software and everything is quite self-explanatory.

Difficult start but later self running system
Kommentare: 2016 we started with Amazon's own tax system. That was a total disaster. After that we switched to another provider, where things went just as badly. Nothing worked, communication was extremely poor. After two years full of problems, we switched to HelloTax. Due to the previous problems, the change was not easy and there were many problems, but this was due to the preparatory work of the other providers. After the change was made after almost half a year, everything slowly began to find a rhythm and became a self-running system

At the beginning we had some problems with our account. The mail communication were blocked. Our mails never got where they were supposed to go. It took a long time to fix the problem
