Solid VPN Tool

Vorteile:

I use WatchGuard AuthPoint for one thing and that is to access our network via VPN when I am working remotely. It is very simple to use. You enter your password and you are done. I do not experience any lag or issues.

Nachteile:

There really isn't much to dislike. I do wish that WatchGuard would remember my password instead of requiring me to enter it each and every time.

use of Two Factor Authentication in business process

Kommentare: very good looking at overall MFA need & management, i can say worth to invest.

Vorteile:

easy to deploy & mange without expensive skillset.

Nachteile:

very easy to handle it looking at the existing Watchguard FW user since no need to have RADIUS foot print

Best Product to protect client vpn and more

Kommentare: We are using AuthPoint for us and many customers. The acceptance raises very fast so i think we could protect all customer watchguard client vpn tunnels with AuthPoint.

Vorteile:

Easy to use the push messages and accesspt fast.

Nachteile:

It feels expensive to be a good alternative to MS authenticator and protect MS 365 Accounts

It didn't work for long

Kommentare: It started out OK, but now it does not work.

Vorteile:

Not much. It worked for a while but suddenly stopped allowing me to have access and returns to the login screeen

Nachteile:

It stopped working for no reason and I can no longer access our VPN

WatchGuard AuthPoint

Vorteile:

This is a great and easy to use MFA solution for the end users. Very simple to deploy and easy for end users. Somoth transition for old cell to new phone.

Nachteile:

Little bit of a learning curve to get it implemented and integrate with Windows AD.

WG Authpoint worth the spend if you already own a WG firebox

Kommentare: AuthPoint has worked well for us. We have used it for over 2 years now and it is easy to deploy and easy to add/remove users to the system.

Vorteile:

Ease of setup and user interface make it a easy setup.

Nachteile:

Not for us directly, but you need (I believe) to have a WG firebox in order to use the product.,

Authpoint - Easy and Secure

Kommentare: We are moving all our client to 2FA with Authpoint

Vorteile:

Easy to use, process to install and configure was also easy

Nachteile:

you need to press p in the dialog box, instead of being prompt like when you log on the website

Simple to use and administrate

Vorteile:

It is simple to set up, use and administrate to other users. I can count on it to work and in the few instances where working with end users where it stopped working, a simple reboot always kicks it back into gear. I feel like my logins are safe with WatchGuard Authpoing

Nachteile:

Initially, upon setting up the app, some end users are confused by the moving line but once explained it is no problem.

Easy to use and install into my environment

Nachteile:

Nothing, I have not ran into any issues.

Simple, effective and powerful

Vorteile:

Very easy to setup and manage. Once installed it just works with almost zero issues.

Nachteile:

The portal can be slow sometimes switching between companies.

Great but MacOS issues

Vorteile:

Ease of use and integration with Firewall

Nachteile:

Trouble getting it working on MacOS. Will not stay connected to VPN.

Kommentare: End user experience is awesome. From a technical support standpoint, it's horrible.

Vorteile:

Ease of use for end user.

Nachteile:

The loging is horrible when trying to support failed user sign-on. It isn't updated on the fly, and there are no details other than authorized and unauthorized. WHY wasn't it authorized? Was it simply userid/password issue?

AuthPoint MFA Easyful

Vorteile:

Easy login, automatic push notification when you enter your password is very useful.

Nachteile:

sometimes it doesn't work properly. It is necessary to connect to the internet.

Keeping the Server Safe

Kommentare: Great. Easy. Does what it says it will and is consistent.

Vorteile:

Easy to use and works like is promised. Grateful for the multi-factor and how easy it is to use.

Nachteile:

Nothing here to dislike. Simple and works - what more could you want?

compatibility

Kommentare: excellent so far, VPN connectivity might have some issues lately but we are working to solve it with the support team.

easy of use and support, user are happy with their MFA

Watch guard AuthPoint - Just enough MFA

Kommentare: I’ve been using it for months and it seems very reliable and just works

Vorteile:

Simplicity, easy of enrollment, solid product.

Nachteile:

Seems a little bit too simple and the issues of needing to send a p for push notification can be solved with a different interface design (like press this button for Push notification)

Can't recommend for Windows 10, works great on Windows 11

Vorteile:

Easy to use. Allows multiple methods to be used depending on users' needs. Some choose to use the phone app and some the hardware fob.

Nachteile:

Implementation has been an absolute nightmare. The AuthPoint software has caused serious performance issues on any machine we installed it on running Windows 10. Over the course of the day, system performance degrades and applications as well as Windows itself begin locking up. Results in having to restart multiple times a day. The only solution we've found is to upgrade the affected computers to Windows 11, then it all works fine.

SSO Functionality of getting integrated with O365

Kommentare: WatchGuard AuthPoint was introduced at my organization to prevent unauthorized access to our server. It provides an additional layer of security we previously didn't have.

Vorteile:

As a user, my interactions with WatchGuard AuthPoint is extremely minimal - which is awesome. I receive an authenticating notification, and upon approving, the interaction is complete. I never *need* to open the app as the notification has a built-in "approve" button.

Nachteile:

The built-in "approve" button in the notification is a light grey, which is sometimes hard to read.

Important MFA solution for VPN

Vorteile:

It is good implemented into the products, easy deployment to PC's

Nachteile:

Sometimes difficult to troubleshoot as logs need to be fetched at different locations

User-friendly product

Vorteile:

I consider that, in most cases, is easy to implement and they have several implementation guides available. It is a user-friendly product to deploy and use.

Nachteile:

I consider that, sometimes, there is a lack of documentation available or it is not clear enough.

Excellent Tool For Security

Vorteile:

Quick and easy to use Secure login to windows

Nachteile:

None that I know of as of yet. I am very satisfied with this tool
