Vorteile:

Notepad++ hat einen eigenen Kontextmenüeintrag.

Nachteile:

Man hat nicht so viele Möglichkeiten, was das Design angeht.

Vorteile:

Die simpel gespaltene Oberfläche, Export Funktionen, Formatierungmöglichkeiten und simple Installation

Nachteile:

Die mangelnden Funktionen, welche hinzugefügt werden können, beispielsweise wie bei Visual Studio Code

Eine wahre Bereicherung

Vorteile:

Übersichtlich und funktionell. Ich möchte es nicht mehr missen.

Nachteile:

Die Farbdefinitionen im Highlighten sollten definierbar sein.

Verwende ich definitiv täglich!

Vorteile:

Der Editor ist einfach simpel und unterstützt mich täglich in meiner Tätigkeit als Software Consultant. Sei es nur eine Notiz welche ich mir schnell aufschreibe oder ein Programmiercode welchen ich mir direkt in der richtigen Programmiersprache farblich markieren lasse.

Nachteile:

Fällt mir auf die schnelle jetzt nichts ein.

Kommentare: My overall Experience has been really amazing . Can't tell you how much I am addicted to this tool . It just makes my day every time I open a file on this . The classic UI also is one of the main reasons for me to still be using this after so many years !

Vorteile:

As an IT Organization individual, Notepad++ is assisting me increasingly more with the everyday work. Some things which I like the most are, 1. The Notepad++ reserve keeps numerous pages dynamic regardless of whether I neglected to save and close it. 2. Notepad++ shows the progression of the content/program, which assists with forestalling committing errors. 3. Bunch arrangement and arranging are more helpful in any event, while working in Succeed. Duplicate to Notepad++ and do it without any problem. 4. It provides additional features such as checksum generation, ascii to hex and vice versa conversions which are very handy for developers.

Nachteile:

The main issue with Notepad++ is that it does not support MacOS . Also , I noticed that Notepad++ struggles with big binary files. It might get slower, or messier when dealing with those .

Kommentare: Been using for many years, and just about every feature you want is there, for an editor. Macro record and playback, case conversion and swapping, formatting and beautifying.

Vorteile:

Tons of features and usable plugins. Supports massive files. Understands and formats a variety of source code formats.

Nachteile:

Fonts could be easier to customize for old eyes.

Notepad++ review

Kommentare: Okay okay. I will only use if i want to take notes or my task is very simple like writing a java file or something. But for complex task not useful.

Vorteile:

Notepad ++ is better version of classic notepad. The ui is far better that that, whenever we write code number is displayed so it makes easier to read the code, debug the code by checking the line numbers. It highlights the start and end brackets making it easy.

Nachteile:

It is better than classic notepad but it lags behind various new editors like vscode and many more. It does not support extension/integration like vscode . It is useful if we only want to take note of anything or else we have something to run locally. But still it lags behind lots of things.. as from developer perspective we require other tools as well simply using this tool will not work. Even new tools gives recommendations while writing code

Notepad++ is a wonderful tool that helps with organization of tasks and information

Kommentare: Overall, I find using Notepad to be very useful for noting my work tasks. I like that I can copy and paste tasks to it as well. It's a very convenient tool to use for staying organized and on track of assignments.

Vorteile:

I use this software daily, especially at work where I have multiple tasks to do. This program makes it so much easier to keep track of all my assignments I have. I like to note down any important dates, information, assignments, etc. The Notepad makes it convenient since I can also copy and paste assignments onto it.

Nachteile:

I don't like how the rows extend out as far as they can because this makes it hard to see the other rows below it. I have to go to the next row to see it's info, and when I jump back to the previous long row, it moves my screen too much. However, this issue is not that big since I can always adjust my text.

Notepad++ is light, and improves productivity for anyone who use it.

Vorteile:

I like the wide plugins available that I use within Notepad++. Notepad++ is light in memory usage, easy to use, and offers a good user experience.

Nachteile:

Notepad++ could improve on the keyboard shortcuts. Some of the shortcuts are difficult to remember and not like other tools. Notepad++ could improve performance when loading big text files that are several MB. It can be fast just like EmEditor when it comes to using big-sized files for editing.

Vorteile:

I have been using Notepad++ to write code in Groovy script for transforming data I get in SAP CPI. So far, it is the best IDE I have used for the purpose. It allows me to maintain the syntax and debug the code easily when compared to the software I was using earlier. It allows for easier and hassle free unit testing.

Nachteile:

I think the main issue is that it lacks a lot of features that other IDEs have and I don't know if I will ever pay for it because the value for money does not seem viable.

One of the finest text editors

Kommentare: Notepad++ is far superior to Windows Notepad. It's one of the first things I install on a new PC.

Vorteile:

Fast, handles very large files, understands and color-codes lots of file formats. Plug-in support adds a lot of functionality.

Nachteile:

Toolbar icons are a bit plain. Skin support would be nice.

A good choice when moving for a powerful text editor for the first time

Kommentare: It was a very good transition tool while moving on from the Windows Notepad application, it allowed me to get used to some more powerful features while not changing too much of the UX.

Vorteile:

It is a powerful text/code editor with a look and feel similar to a traditional notepad application.

Nachteile:

While working on multiple files, the application can have a high memory consumption.

Kommentare: It's simple notepad but for writing code. You can do anything with it.

Essential Software For Anyone In Tech

Kommentare: My job would be so much more tedious without Notepad++. Otherwise difficult tasks like finding syntax errors or comparing files is made easy with it.

Vorteile:

Responsiveness of app, vast library of plug-ins, find and replace feature is very powerful, block-comment, line comment, XPath finder, recognising syntax for almost every language - it is ESSENTIAL for anyone in tech.

Nachteile:

If you have a lot of files open, it can be difficult to make sure you compare the two you intended when using the compare plug-in.

Vorteile:

I was unaware of Notepad ++ until I became interested in learning basic visual script, a programming language. At first, I attempted to write scripts in Microsoft's built-in text processing software, but I found that very tedious and difficult. However, after looking online for software that eases programming for beginning script writers, I found Notepad ++, and I am so glad that I did. In short, while software like Notepad does not allow users to change text color, Notepad ++ does. Ultimately, this feature--coupled with a few others--makes differentiating between different lines of text much easier, which is useful when programming, where you see several repetitive lines of code that can be an eyesore at times to read. Thus, I greatly enjoyed Notepad ++ and recommend it to anyone interested in scripting, as it makes the whole process more streamlined and convenient.

Nachteile:

I will try to keep this portion of the review as brief as possible because I really enjoyed Notepad ++ and don't have (or even want to say!) many negative things about it. Furthermore, as I think about it, not many grievances even come to mind in the first place! However, with that said, one (and the only) thing I noticed was their advertising and marketing. Simply put, it was VERY difficult to find the official webpage, and when I eventually did (which took a while), I wasn't even confident that it was, in fact, the official site. Furthermore, I found the website very difficult to navigate, and they have a long list of downloads that do not specify what version is compatible with your OS or has the right features. Ultimately, in conclusion, it's quite confusing to find and download, but once you do, it is absolutely worth it!

Vorteile:

I use Notepad++ in many ways. First of all is an excellent text editor and keeps saved your tabs without the risk of information loss (I mean for example you write some notes and then you close the program. Next time you'll launch it you will find those notes). You can save you files choosing from a wide set of extension. Then it has a lot of features that help me e.g. to transform data files in a readable way for humans (just think about the search and replace, the decode function...). Plus it runs fast and never hangs. The italian version is well translated, without any weird terms :-) I highly recommend Notepad++

Nachteile:

Often when i just want to open notepad, notepad will be selected first (not a problem!)

One Stop Shop for simple text editing

Kommentare: Once I learned about this, it became my go-to austere text editing program for those times when I just want something simple without being drowned in features. The features are no more than *knee* deep, and they're useful. I use it to edit and write quick JavaScript, php, html, config files, and occasionally C# -- it can parse and color code all of them. I also use it to write random notes to myself. It does have a feature to run some kinds of code, but I've never used it for that, as it's more practical for me to use Visual Studio for my Unity code -- VS has more accurate tab completion suggestions, among other things, and it's more naturally attuned to Unity. Overall, if you're looking for something just a little bit cooler than the bare bones Notepad program and you're a Windows user, this is your tool.

Vorteile:

-Great for quick glances and editing of almost anything -- can handle several dozen types of formatting such as plain text, various kinds of code, xml, or JSON -Can install plugins for some versioning features like Diff -Color codes that conform to your chosen file format -Good for tab junkies and people who use it for random notes -Will remember your sloppily unsaved, unnamed files when reopened...sometimes

Great Product That’s Free

Vorteile:

This is a great application to be free. For my use, it’s mostly mild coding and a lot of note-taking. The way it can color-code text based on the type of code and script and do mass editing is really helpful.

Nachteile:

Gets a little complicated in the settings part, but I don’t mind it too much.

Not only its free but it also gives a lot of plugins to install to compare for example. It is user friendly and a better option then window notepad.

Nachteile:

It will be a game changer if this tool is made available for MacOS. The options are good and with more working Mac's in Windows sercers / vm's it

Vorteile:

The best thing about Notepad is that it is simple to use, the code can also be developed with ease on the platform, we can create folders and keep various files into it. We can search for any keywords on the file.We can save all the unsaved files on one go as well.

Nachteile:

The platform is very good to develop code into it. I did not find any drawback on the platform.
