It is Spreadsheet based, making integration with excel held accounts very easy.
The link to the default form (identical to the HMRC form, which required no software) is not very obvious. For no apparent reason the typeface is tiny.

Simplicity Itself
Kommentare: I didn't have to get involved with any other accountancy software in order to make my digital VAT returns, which is good as I use a simple spreadsheet for what I do.
Vorteile:
The ability to map the figures in my Google Sheets VAT book to 123 Sheet's VAT box is straightforward, and made simple with their How-to Videos.
Nachteile:
It might be better perhaps to be able to export directly from Google Sheets rather than the intermediate step, but its hardly an onerous task.

The return excel sheet download has stopped working, support has not helped, I have fillet managed to do a return after going back through my downloads, finding a blank excel sheet from 123 sheets and filling that in to make the return send

Fairly easy to upload data to 123 although because I only use it once a year, plain English instruction would be appreciated

Unable to get support from 123sheet when there is a delay in uploading the data, they were unable to provide assistance and referred me to HMRC, when they are supposed to be the link to enable upload of the tax return: Very unhelpful!

Ease of use / Excel compatibility, we changed our entire accounting/book-keeping system to align with 123sheets due to its ease of use.
Nachteile:
VAT return page doesn't include the period dates

Kommentare: I've been using 123 Sheets for four years, and during that time I've never had any problems. I had a query regarding something to do with HMRC and they got back to me by e-mail very quickly and helped me sort it out. No complaints whatsoever!

123 Sheets is incredibly easy to use, just download the blank form, complete it from your calculations, upload it and the VAT return is done!
Nachteile:
I haven't had any problems during all the time I've been using 123 Sheets.
