Our Students and Lecturers Love Using Vevox

Kommentare: Since CoVid when our training program shifted from in-person to exclusively online we needed a tool to moderate and delivery regular knowledge tests for trainees where we could easily generate reports and share with the group and their mentors to track their progress throughout the course. After reviewing several we found Vevox which tick all the requirements, had a simple to use interface from both a web browser or a mobile phone and a reasonable pricing model. Fast forward to 2024 and 4 years of trainees have benefited from using the platform during their course and we still use Vevox once we returned to face-to-face training sessions monthly as it was so convenient.

Vorteile:

Seamless integration into PowerPoint for live polling and ability to have someone else moderate QandAs "off-stage"

Nachteile:

Limited to only one session live at a time (although there is ongoing development to introduce multiple simultaneous sessions in which case it would become a 5 star rating :))

An interactive tool for take an interactive training session with your audience.

Kommentare: Overall, I am very satisfied with the service, and I would love to recommend it to everybody.

Vorteile:

The favorite part of this platform is how I can quickly, conveniently, and effortlessly participate and express my opinion and comment on these meetings. Only a few clicks on my phone or personal laptop, and you are responding to the polls, voting for some of the brilliant ideas, and, if you wish, you can put forward a question anonymously.

Nachteile:

The hardest part is one thing, and it is how rough the whole platform looks and feels. There seems to be a lack of modern and user-friendly functionality, as some of our other corporate tools look like; a more comfortable and friendly option would be appreciated.

5* for Vevox!

Kommentare: My experience may be different to other users in my organisation. As a system administrator, my experience is more around testing the tool and its capabilities, as opposed to running polls etc. for end users to partake in. So, in terms of the system administrator side of Vevox, it's extremely straightforward. Rich data is only a few clicks away, configuration (SSO/LTI etc.) also only takes a few minutes to be set up and the product itself is extremely intuitive to just dive in and get creating some engaging content.

Vorteile:

Super intuitive for creators and end-user(s), great analytics that are available to system administrators, and being able to use Vevox via the LMS for asynchronous learning is also fantastic! Not to mention that the support staff are amazing :)

Nachteile:

There isn't a feature (or lack thereof) within Vevox that makes you think "this could be much better" or, "this is really needed in Vevox". The tool does what it is designed to do.

Vevox Review

Kommentare: Really good and I enjoy using the product and I will endeavour to use it in future jobs due to its ease and effective functionality.

Vorteile:

The wide range of options available in terms of question input and answer selection formats. It's straightforward and effective to use and there is always great and supportive help on hand from the Vevox staff.

Nachteile:

Currently having one issue with running a session and some of the questions duplicating on completion of the session, however, I have a call to discuss this issue with a Vevox team member shortly and I have no doubts this will soon be resolved, as the team members are always helpful and in the know as to how to resolve issues.

Prompt service and good engagement tool

Kommentare: I was assisted promptly by [sensitive content hidden] when I needed to have my account set up quickly for use. He was extremely helpful when answering my queries and displayed flexibility to some concerns faced. Overall, it is a good experience!

Vorteile:

It provides unlimited text count for the question fields and has a visually pleasing interface to engage participants' attention.

Nachteile:

It would be better if there is an option to enlarge the QR code displayed on screen so that the participants sitting at the far end of the huge function room can scan it easily. Having background music would increase the engagement and to hype up the activity.

Positive experience

Kommentare: Overall experience is very good. Usage is expected to continue to grow.

Vorteile:

Intuitive modern dashboard interface and easy to get started. Most of our staff Vevox users got on fine after attending the Getting Started training or didn't need it as Vevox is so easy to use. The support from Vevox is spot-on too, from our Customer Success Manager and the Support team.

Nachteile:

PowerPoint add-in lacks functionality to match that of the dashboard.

Vevox Platform

Kommentare: My overall experience of the Vevox platform has been excellent. I have been using it for the last 3 years with little or no complaint. The delegates/users find it easy to navigate. I like the annual review of our use of the platform as it demonstrates to our IT team the need for continued use of the platform.

Vorteile:

I like the fact that it is easy to use and navigate. The use of instant feedback when I use it for monthly multiply choice questions and assessments. It give delegates their results as soon as they submit. I like that all the other assessments are kept on file and I can refer to them months later.

Nachteile:

I will like to see Microsoft application on the Vevox platform. I never received regular updates so not aware of changes or facilities on the platform. I feel that I am not using all functionaries available on the platform. I don't like the fact that it does not save entries when delegates are doing an assessment and they get kicked out of the platform due to connectivity or wifi issues. This means delegates have to enter all their answers again if they had written them down elsewhere.

All you need from a survey tool

Kommentare: Very satisfied user, have been using Vevox for many years with different types of students now. Both online and offline, rarely encounter any issues.

Vorteile:

Simplicity of designing my surveys and having them all in one place. Style and presentation are appealing and there are a variety of different survey designs available. Straightforward to access for my students and ability to save results on completion are also valued.

Nachteile:

I'm very happy to be honest. The main recommendation would be to develop new formats for different survey questions and presentation of results, or perhaps enable a degree of being able to edit the designs if necessary.

Reliable tool for audience participation

Kommentare: Just a pain free tool that allows for successful audience participation.

Vorteile:

Vevox is user friendly, both for the session organiser and the participants. There are a great variety of tools for various needs. Account managers respond quickly to issues (in the rare occasion there are any!), giving reassurance and reliability to the solution.

Nachteile:

I would love for there to be the ability to present live the responses from surveys. Polls don't allow multiple questions (or even categories of questions) to be live at one time, so at an event this week we used the Survey function to get around this, and actually displayed the survey data dashboard view, live in the event. It was fine, but isn't designed to be used that way, so the display could be improved and would be great if this functionality could be developed.

Using Vevox in Church Service

Kommentare: From the moment we approached Vevox to enquire about signing up, their customer service has been NEXT LEVEL--professional, PERSONAL, quick response, very engaging. We had checked into nearly all the other similar platform services and Vevox customer service surpassed them all. The Vevox platform itself is extremely user-friendly for the tech-inexperienced; lots of options and capability; have used/looked at other similar platforms and Vevox has so much to offer at very affordable pricing. It's customization is extremely beneficial. I would highly recommend Vevox for any groups or settings wanting to create crowd engagement in a live setting.

Vorteile:

We love the customization & 'live results' features of Vevox; these have been fun & engaging in our Sunday services and have really allowed the congregation to contribute in an active way during the message (ie: through polls, surveys, etc); we often incorporate the survey & poll information into the sermon. The platform is also extremely easy to use for Q&A sessions; people love being able to 'rate' questions in terms of priority, etc. The over-all set-up is so easy; customizable graphics to coordinate with a specific event's theme is another bonus. Also love the ability to save previous polls, surveys, etc, to use again.

Nachteile:

Not being able to have 2 surveys or polls running at the same time was a bit problematic but it might be the minimum plan we are signed up for. This was also an easy work-around.

Makes virtual meetings effortless

I recently used the audience participation app Vevox for an event, and it significantly enhanced the experience. Kommentare: The Vevox team has been extremely helpful in getting the product onboarded within our organization. The product itself has been great. We have been using the power point add-in to interject poll questions throughout our presentation which has been key for keeping the audience engaged

Only con was I didn't come across it sooner!

Events Services - Vevox Top feature!

Kommentare: Vevox is one of those features that make everything easy for an interactive session with your audience. We love it and our customers do as well. Love it!

Vorteile:

Being able to customize the sessions is what I like the most about Vevox.

Nachteile:

There is nothing that I dislike about Vevox.

Useful tool for events

Vorteile:

We enjoy using Vevox as it allows us to collate questions during live event Q&As easily. Being able to access it on any web browser without an app download is a big plus, and removes barriers for when we use it with clients.

Nachteile:

Sometimes the wording between each 'column' can be confusing to our events clients that use it for the first time. However this is usually overcome after a demonstration and further explanation. When sharing links for the Q&A feature are shared, it isn't possible to change which column is being shown, so new links need to be generated.

Simple, effective tool and a great company to work with

Kommentare: The Vevox staff are just incredible. They really listen and want to learn from their customers to enhance their product for the better. Some of my ideas that I fed back have gone on to become part of their enhanced functionality.

Vorteile:

Vevox is so simple and intuitive to use that we have rolled in out to hundreds of staff with only the bare minimum of training materials and sessions available. I personally find it an effective tool to use when managing meetings and helping a large group come to a consensus view. Our students find it really helps with engagement in their learning.

Nachteile:

There's nothing that I don't like about Vevox, it has all the functionality to cover the range of uses needed in my institution.

Vevox in Healthcare

Kommentare: Extremely positive and helpful.

Vorteile:

The support from the team was 5 star, they supported from enquiries to implementation and were extremely flexible. The system was easy to use and adaptable to project changes and was a huge help in collecting data for our project.

Nachteile:

The license was unfortunately cancelled within our team due to cost.

Fantastic Polling and Engagement Tool

Kommentare: Excellent and fantastic product, it supports our learning strategies.

Vorteile:

Polling ability, it makes even the most silent and introverted people to talk, share, engage and collaborate.

Nachteile:

I want to have a counter with a sound, so that you can alert your audience about the importance of answering on time.

Vevox in Interactive Classes

Kommentare: It is is an excellent product, and I regularly encourage colleagues to use it in their teaching.

Vorteile:

Vevox is a central part of my teaching, allowing me to regularly ask questions to students to check their understanding, and keep them engaged.

Nachteile:

There are no issues with Vevox so this is Not Applicable

Q&A Sessions

Kommentare: I really like the ease of use and that visitors don't have to sign in to use. I feel like this will really enhance our Q&A sessions.

Vorteile:

I really like the moderation features to moderate questions before they are public, as well as the ability to customise to your colours etc.

Nachteile:

That you can't have one or two day options for smaller events if you don't want to sign up monthly.

Awesome customer service

Kommentare: I am happy with the Vevox product, and delighted with the exceptional customer service.

Vorteile:

I had a hiccup while integrating polling slides into a PowerPoint presentation and contacted Vevox's customer service representative for help. She replied within an hour despite being six hours ahead of me, identifying useful help guides and offering a videoconference to look at my problem in real time. On our call, she showed me what I was doing wrong and quickly got me back on track. I am happy with the Vevox product, and delighted with the exceptional customer service.

Great audience polling tool

Vorteile:

Love the interface for both the facilitator and the participant, and especially love the QR code function to make it easy for anyone easily join a polling session. Like the integration with online meetings like Teams and Zoom too.

Nachteile:

No real complaints, good product that we use on our meetings.

Great Product, Easy to use, Easy to implement, Easy to Understand

Vorteile:

Fantastically easy product to learn, use and implement. I found features easy to find, management overall to be minimal stress and this product suited our needs. We will definitely use this product again.

Nachteile:

I don't have any bad things to say about Vevox.
