Kommentare: Using it primarily for expo sales, expo floorplan attendee interface, and session content....for attendees search and planning

Vorteile:

Ease of use, ease of set-up, good reporting and ability to create reports, responsive team, upgrades match user requests. Customers like this software, their ease of use.

Nachteile:

There are certain times when fields in the system can be pulled for reporting, unless there is a customization. Understand customizing but these arent unique requests.

Sr. Trade Show Manager

Kommentare: Working with Curt and Heather. We are a very unique client and they both are understanding our requests as we learn about MYS and as they learn about us.

Vorteile:

Platform is very intuitive including the conference module we are using.

Nachteile:

There are a few - 1. Not having more standards in place and having to pay for items that seem logical and not have to pay for it? Example - We purchased the exhibits/sponsorship module and found out that when an exhibitor purchase Sponsorships, the do NOT receive a notification of what they purchased? why? when you order from Amazon or any other company selling - you receive a notification of what you ordered. 2. Maybe look into having exhibits and sponsorship module separated in the sense of co-locating organizations and the one responsible for sponsorships, can only have access to sponsorship sections.

MYS - Mostly reviewing the app

Vorteile:

The exhibit hall integration is seamless.

Nachteile:

The networking app needs work and easier ways to make appointments.

Map Your Show Fan

Kommentare: We've been with MYS for a couple of years now and it has streamlined our booth placement process.

Vorteile:

The ease of placing a booth on the floor plan and the friendly and helpful Account Manager, [sensitive content hidden].

Nachteile:

I cannot think of anything at the moment.

Good but could be better

Kommentare: Good but they could be better at adding in certain features that A2z and Expocad have.

Vorteile:

User friendly and easy to understand with minimal training

Nachteile:

Cannot swap exhibitors in booths. Cannot mass unassign. Cannot do a booth upgrade downgrade report to compare booth sizes year over year in the basic model from MYS.

Easy Sales Process and easy layout

Kommentare: I like the support of MYS, a little on the slow side at time, but all individuals I have dealt with have always been very kind and always want to help.

Vorteile:

I like how easy it is to add clients to the database and booths to the show floor. Easy sales process. I have already recommended MYS to many friends in the industry. I like most all the report systems.

Nachteile:

I don't like the delete process of a company from the show floor. And I don't like how long it takes each year to set up our show.

A 5-Star SaaS for the Trade Show Industry

Vorteile:

Map Your Show offers an all-in-one solution for trade show organizers and has continued to make massive improvements to their wide-ranging solutions in the 7 years I've worked on shows which use Map Your Show. They are always innovating, receiving client feedback, and customer service oriented. Any time that I have reached out for support, I've received a quick and helpful response. The interactive show floor module, conference, module, and mobile app are all excellent products I would recommend to any show organizers.

Nachteile:

I cannot think of any cons in the time that I have worked with Map Your Show. It is a top-notch service provider for the exhibitions industry.

Great Product for Our Shows!

Vorteile:

I really enjoy the updates that were made to the ERC (Exhibitor Resource Center). I think it is way more sleek and modern looking. The old version was extremely dated. With the update, we are now able to add additional people to the portal, when that wasn't possible before. It's been very useful for us.

Nachteile:

We sometimes run into issues with formatting emails. It's not the most user friendly at times.

MYS: Intuitive Floorplan Mapping

Kommentare: I have been using MYS For several years and appreciate the continual updates.

Vorteile:

I appreciate the exhibitor integration. The MYS platform allows for additional marketing options for my exhibitors and allows me to provide instantaneous updates to my floorplan.

Nachteile:

There are times when the tutorials are not as expansive as I would like.

Great Company & Product

The are some capability limitations but overall an excellent product.

What price are you willing to pay for easy management systems and peace of mind?

Kommentare: We have really enjoyed leveraging Map Your Show and making it out exhibitor management system. It has increased our efficiency in selling booth spaces and getting exhibitors to submit necessary items on time. We are now implementing this platform to many other events that our parent company has.

Vorteile:

Map Your Show is very user friendly. When we implemented this platform 2 years ago, we did not have any systems in place for managing exhibitors and booth sales. Now that we use Map Your Show, we feel as if we are part of the big leagues of exhibit shows and it adds credibility into how we develop our business. I appreciate how helpful the client support team is. They have never made me feel like something was impossible to do. If the platform couldn't do it, they tried to find other solutions within what the platform can do.

Nachteile:

The badge management module is underdeveloped and does not function in a way that allows us to use the platform at the exhibitor check-in.

I love everything so far! If I DO have a problem, I am able to submit a help desk ticket and get it resolved promptly.

MYS is a great option for trade show organizers

The software is easy to use and accomplishes all of our major objectives.

Nachteile:

The user interface seems dated. Sometimes it's hard to find the things you need (if you don't know where you're looking).

MYS is a tradeshow winner

Kommentare: We have only been working with MYS for a month or two, but I am impressed by the program and also the MYS team. If we have any questions, the MYS team is quick to respond.

Vorteile:

I like the ease of use and how intuitive the program is. Making adjustments to our show's floorplans is easy and I like being able to send out emails and links quickly and easily to exhibitors.

Nachteile:

I am not confident that some exhibitors receive the autogenerated emails from MYS. I'm nervous that spam filters may block these emails, which creates more work on my end if the emails are blocked.

Customization for Shows is Critical, Map Your Show Provides the Flexibility Needed

Vorteile:

The best thing about Map Your Show is the flexibility to customize the software to fit our needs. All shows have variations, especially outdoor shows, and the software is made to fit our needs.

Nachteile:

There have been content updates that need to be completed by MapYourShow that can take valuable time. I will admit, though, that this is improving with new updates each year to allow show administration access to customize and update information.

Map Your Show Software Review

Kommentare: I can wrap it up with a comment from our Project Manager who uses Map Your Show every day:I love MYS- it just is so easy to get stuff done!I will fight anyone who tries to take it away 😉

Vorteile:

Creating the floorplan with booths, pavilions, labels, rooms, furniture...is so easy! Again, we love the reports and customization. The exhibitor dashboard is incredibly helpful for exhibitors. The upgrades and revenue share for that is a great way to re-coup some of the software costs. Customizing our own admin dashboard is super helpful also.

Nachteile:

The email function times out and you can loose your content if not saved in time. The whole will time out which forces a user to sign in multiple times during the day.

Great product

Vorteile:

Easy to use, floor plan and exhibitor management looks professional. Great reporting and nice dashboard. Timely and excellent customer service.

Nachteile:

The email marketing function could use a little help. It would be nice if there was a way to keep the system from sending multiple emails to a single address if it's found in multiple profiles. I spend a lot of time going through my list every time I email de-duping. The way things look while crafting the email in the builder is never what it looks like once it's sent. Changing the font sizes on the map for each booth is a pain.

MYS is the leading Industry Software for Exhibit Sales & Management

Kommentare: MYS is an easy software to help facilitate organized exhibit sales and management for our exhibitors and sponsors. The customer service is top notch and the product is easy to use for our exhibitors to manage their accounts.

Vorteile:

Amazing customer service through event setup all the way to onsite sales for future events. Very responsive when I have questions or need custom reporting.

Nachteile:

I wish there was an area to manage outreach for sales to past exhibitors and prospects.

Fabulous floor plan management tool for all tech levels

Kommentare: MYS has outstanding customer service (Sarah Graham!) and great technical support (Kyle Plymesser)...even the back-ups provided are great. Exhibitors/attendees can easily view floor plans, and internal staff can navigate and process customer inquiries with ease in the Admin Dashboard. With SSO/API customizations developed by our teams, the customer experience is top notch. I've heard that some of my Wish List items are "in development" but still am eagerly awaiting them (Booth Hold management in Builder, access to DWG layers, manually Publish individual changes at the same time in Builder). Overall, great product with knowledgeable, friendly staff to support and listen to customer needs.

Vorteile:

The simple web-based software allows for easy access anywhere on any device. Users of different technical skills can become proficient pretty quickly. Great UX for customers on the IDS, good graphics/layout. MYS programmers are willing to work with customers on customizations for system integration/API needs. Easy flow of data/content to mobile app interface, no lag in content migration.

Nachteile:

Inability to adjust/view decorator layers within the floor plan (add shapes/arrows/directionals). In ExpoCAD, I had full control to access decorator layers in the DWG to hide/unhide utility and facility layers if needed which is not the case in MYS. If exhibitors with specialized utility needs are asking for specialized information, they have to wait until a request is put in to MYS to modify the floor plan and then respond. Putting booths on Hold is cumbersome and cannot be done within the Builder screen, very disjointed to have to go out of Builder and Manage a Booth Hold. Sometimes the lead time for edits to scripts/reports can be very long (2 weeks), but it is just part of the ticket queue process with their DBAs. Sometimes changes/reporting is more critical and the wait-time can be annoying.

MYS is a great way to further monetize your floor plan and drive web traffic prior to the show

Vorteile:

I have found that Map Your Show provides the most user-friendly floor plan, session, and agenda planning experience for our exhibitors and attendees, but the best feature for the show organizer is the ability to monetize your exhibitor listings easily and effectively through the upgraded listing offerings. I also value that the exhibitor "back-end" or Exhibitor Resource Center is easy to navigate for the exhibitor and highlights upcoming deadlines clearly and opportunities for them to increase their show presence. On the attendee side, the Show Planner functionality that allows attendees to favorite exhibitors and sessions is a valuable show offering and provides useful data for the organizer. Finally, the people at MYS really add to the customer experience - I truly feel they are our partners and are willing to heed our suggestions for improvement or enhancement. As with any software integration/implementation, you'll come across obstacles along the way and it's comforting to know their team will always take my call and work to find a solution quickly.

Nachteile:

MYS seems to be built to be a standalone platform for selling exhibit space and displaying the conference information. However, most show organizers will need their event software to integrate with existing systems and not operate as a standalone solution, in my experience. MYS is very capable of these integrations, but adapting the platform to the show organizer's specific needs can be challenging.

ease of process for exhibitors to sign up for booth space conference module - library of speakers and content and program to work and manage sessions and speakers allows more time for the sales staff to sell

Nachteile:

errors on occasion with contractor on floor plan reporting need for specific reports to assist with budget, forecasting and comparison and pacing year over year would love a component of match making for attendees to be included was of increasing the number of users on my show planner - automated marketing to promote the tool to attendees

Best system for our show
